Sun Moon Stars Eau de Parfum

just tried this out the other day, it was quite a shock. It is completely different from the original SMS. I think this is much more fruiter and stronger. At first I did not like it but then I tried what most professional scent smellers do... spray it on a card and shake the card... then you get the true profile of the scent. It is not my taste however the sweetness was okay to me

Sun Moon Stars , lo compré creyendo que era el Sun Moon Stars( el frasco azul) que es un agua de tocador , y la sorpresa que me lleve , al recibir , El Sun Moon Stars agua de Perfume en color Blanco Perla Tornasol el frasco muy lindo , lo compré en Set de 4 piezas , al primer spray un conjunto de olores frutales frescos no tan dulces llegó a mis sentidos y me gustó , para usar ahorita en verano , es un perfume facil de llevar fresco y bastante frutal en el secado se siente la Fresa y la Raspberry , combinado con notas amaderadas y un bit de Vainilla , no logro definir mas olores y no quiero inventar lo que no sé , quiero ser lo mas honesta posible , es un Perfume juvenil fresco con notas altas en su salida , frutales y olores greens , en el secado siento la vainilla y madera siempre siento la fresa y Raspberry ,también en el secado. Es un perfume Fresco (Floral Frutal )en mi opinión .

I bought this as a blind buy to add to my Sophia Grojsman collection. I’m a HIGE fan of hers. I remember smelling this in the 90s and choosing the EDT in the blue bottle over the EDP in the white bottle, but I couldn’t remember why. I was disappointed when I received the bottle I just purchased. I don’t get any of the Grojsman accord DNA in this. It smells just like Yara in the pink bottle and slightly like La Vie Est Belle. It’s fruity, but equally woody (almost oudy) and the patchouli definitely pulls through rather than just being a soft pillowy background base note. The vanilla is there too, giving this gourmand vibes. If you’re a fan of Lattafa perfumes, you’ll definitely love this. This will stay on my shelf for display just because the bottle is so pretty.

I am confused.. Why are people saying that it’s not Karl Lagerfeld, and that it’s not from 1994? On the packaging and on the bottle it says “Lagerfeld” My aunt had this one and my earliest memory was from 2006- ish because I remembered that i really loved the bottle. Who’s “United Colors & Prestige Beauty” and what have I missed?

Waaaait, what is it??? What kind of fake perfume it is?? SunMoonStars is one of my favorites, i have been wearing it for years, but i have never ever seen this version anywhere? Is it some kind of re-release under the different brand (i know they did it with blue bottle few years ago). This is deffo not a year 1994 release!

@m00nlights there's this new company called United Colors and Prestige Beauty that got the rights to bring back both versions of Sun Moon Stars, Benetton's Tribu and have created new flankers of SMS for men and women. That's why some users are getting them mixed.

There's a "Midnight" version of this, too, now--in a purple bottle. Very curious about these two SMS flankers, but they're kinda pricey for a total blind buy. Also, the brand making this is NOT Karl Lagerfeld. Don't be mislead! Not a Grojsman creation.

I believe this was released either in 2022 or 2023 by the new maker of Sun Moon Stars. I first noticed it on Fragrancenet and FragranceX early 2023. Haven't tried it yet.

Smells like strawberry sports drink, petroleum jelly and second-hand embarrassment. Sigh. A pretty variation on the bottle, though.
