Sucre Addicte

Guy here. Me and my gf absolutely love this. The bottle actually made it’s way to my shelf instead of hers lol. It’s an airy sugary cotton candy with a warm cozy caramel amber base and blended extremely well. It’s like a constant and gradual transition from candy sugar to dessert sugar without choking you or other people out. This is the first “true” gourmand I’ve loved (on me or her) and it’s got a lot to do with the texture. It’s AIRY (not to be confused with weak!). Similar to BR540 edp in terms of texture/performance and very different from Bianco Latte’s dense heaviness.

This smells EXACTLY like Montale Vanilla Absolu. But Montale has way better performance and can be found for less than $80 including shipping. So yes, I like this because I love Montale VA but this is very expensive and I'll stick with Montale. I heard that this has really great performance but that is not the case for me.

Sucre Addicte...No apple note or anise either, not even the floral notes...I am puzzled. Not quite as sweet as Helwa or Vaniglia but pretty similar. Very faint and longevity is just mediocre. I have far too many vanillas in my collection to bother with it. But it is definitely worth a try.

The vanilla here is elegant and grown-up, supported by sugar cane and orchid in a way that feels creamy and balsamic instead of juvenile. If you love Sucre Addict by Karnain, this will feel familiar but quieter and more refined. Where Sucre Addict leans playful and caramelized, Sucre Noir feels silkier and more intimate—less dessert cart, more velvet pastry box. Projection stays close, longevity is solid, and the texture is what really makes this special. A cozy, confident vanilla that doesn’t shout but absolutely lingers. Smells like straight up candy. Like you lifted a laffy taffy to your nose and inhaled. Or maybe those scratch and sniff stickers...

It's light, but it smells good. Sucre Noir is better but this is good
