Tentation

I came here after getting this, and I was surprised it had such a low score. I actually really like this one. However, I tried this without seeing the notes first. For those who had seen the notes and bought it thinking it was a gourmand, I can see why they'd be disappointed. Based off the note pyramid, you might expect a candied strawberry in chocolate. However, this scent is NOT very gourmand. It's more of an abstract gourmand. The scent's foreground is powdery, ambery, and musky, but there are hints of its gourmand side in the background. The amber in this is sharp and almost astringent and incense-like. As it dries down, the scent rounds out and becomes sweeter, leaning more into the gourmand side. However, the musk keeps it more perfumey than gourmand. Performance-wise, this is strong. I recommend spraying sparingly so you don't get overwhelmed by the notes. I did a half spray for both wrists, and I catch wafts of it in the air. It's gotten cold out, and this scent really shines in this weather. I personally have been digging this scent. If you decide to get this, don't go into it with the notes in mind.

I only get slightly dusty chocolate powder hints that's it everything else smells kinda dusty to me?

Too perfumey, not gourmand. If you want chocolate covered strawberry then go for Dolce Passione.

This is a nice powdery dusty chocolate with a HINT of strawberry. It's a moderate sillage IMO, smells pleasant, but isn't going to be a tooth-achingly sweet gourmand - which is why I enjoy it. It's a semi-gourmand. If you are looking for something like that you'd probably enjoy it too. 8/10
