Oud Damascena

عطر عود دمشقي .. للدار كاطانا هو حقا سقوط في شرنقة دهن العود. تجمع هذه التوليفة أسرارا عدة، تتصل كلها بالعلاقة الأزلية بين العود والورد، علاقة الحب والشغف، الهجر والشوق، المطاردة والبعد. إنها حبكة العطر الفاتن عندما تأسر عاشقا، يعلم كل مثالبها، ومع ذلك لا يستطيع أن ينأى عنها، بل يركض خلفها، و يتتبع أريجها أنّى كان. إن تعلقت يوما بالعود فعلم أنك باق في إساره عبدا مقيدا، خاصة إن دمج بوردة ندية بودرية الملمس كما فعل بهذه اللؤلؤة التي تزيد من الرغبة الحسية و تستحضرها في خيالك كلما لحت الرغبة عليها، فلا فكاك من الفرار إلا فتات التخيل. إن لمسة العطار شعّت كالماس تحت نجمة شاردة في ليل صحراوي، بحيث استخذم الشراسة و اللين في آن واحد شراسة وحش و لين أميرة "العود البنغالي و الوردة الدمشقية" هذه استعارة مستهلكة. وأقسم أنها كانت شيئا كالشعاع. خُيّل إليّ أنه انبث من نقطة بعيدة وسرية، ليختلج على أنفي الذي تيم بعشق المزيج المتناغم. إستنشاقها كان ينذر بشراسة هادئة، كما في عيون حيوان بريّ في غابة مطيرة، حاول الاقتراب مني لكنه كان يخشى ورودا كنت أتجول في حدائقها الغناء و التي سرعان ما كوّن عالما جاذبا في السرد، فقد صارت معشوقته جنيا يتلبسه في النوم واليقظة، فطارده لعله يقلع عنه، ليكتشف أنه يغوص في قعر قارورة ضيقة، وحياته الجنسية سفلية. كل هذا و أنا أستنشق ضجيج الانفجارات، فهي أقرب إلى الموسيقى الفلكلورية في الخلفية. مقال آخر سريالي أنسجه من مخيلتي التي ما أفكت أن أشعرت بعطر نفاذ يستحق لجهد العطار الذي وظف موادا 100% طبيعية. مقدمة العطر: الورد الدمشقي🥀، وردة مايو🌷، اليوزو🍋. قلب العطر: العود البنغالي🐆، عود حيواني ذخاني🐾، عنبر الحوت🐳، الورد الدمشقي🥀 قاعدة العطر: نوتة خشبية ذخانية🏺، الوردة الدمشقية🥀. — دمت قارئا، و دام العطر رفيقك 🌹. _____________________________________________ للمزيد من التقارير المرجو زيارة صفحتي عبر الأنستغرام Luxe_cologne_reviews مودتي ❤️ _____________________________________________

Smoky rose oud with musky animalic facets that reads more like an attar than as a scent. The main ingredients are nice natural Damask rose and the blend of Cambodian and Hindi Ouds. Also in the mix are slight hints of ambergris, yuzu and other woody leathery notes. The unisex scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. Recommended primarily for oud scent lovers but does not really seem to be offering too much to distinguish it from the rest of the field. Enjoy!

I'll be honest, I just couldn't get on with this. It was the most unsubtle barnyard smell ever, which was interesting actually but on my skin it goes sour with the rose and citrus if you take a proper sniff with quite a strong smoky smell flanking it. I'm pretty impressed at the heavy feel of this, it doesn't smell synthetic but sadly it doesn't work with my skin chemistry. Good sillage and longevity though, despite the issues I think its the more interesting of the bunch.

This smelled too familiar from the first spray, it was like your typical Indian oud/Damascene Rose combo, with slight smokiness and salty ambergris, nothing more on my skin. The drydown felt like a sweet leathery tobaccoish Bangladesh oud and I detect oakmoss in the far drydown on paper. The overall fragrance is heavier on the oud and I wished if the rose had a larger presence. I felt that this was a bit too simple as I was missing the perfumer’s touch.

Gorgeous rose, but my sample was not animalic, not very smoky, barely oudy, oud is way in the background, in fact the rose is great, but simply overpowering, citrus does not help either imo, yuzu?.. yuk, a touch of citrus floor-cleaner. Great big rose blend, with citrus, everything else is hidden and you have to search it out.
