I'm quite sure that u are all acquainted with this ' oh well, not what I expected but it's ok...' feeling when blind buying. I got that same dismaying pit in my stomach when first trying it. I then figured out that this was like a sort of food ( sushi for me!) that GROWS on you. The 3rd time I tried it, the Love's Baby soft notes seemed different. The weather was cooler too... I could smell the vanilla, luscious and citrusy fresh mandarin poking through. Then, the pink pepper brought my mind back to Hard Candy. It smelled sooo familiar! kinda neet to recognize so many notes ! I cannot say I am acquainted with almond blossom... but this fragrance sure has the bitter-creamy touch of almonds.. the jasmine is tame wich is fine with my chemistry!The musky drydown, made rich by the tonka bean notes and amber is long lasting on me. (i put a dab of mineral or baby oil beforehand so it stays longer). For 20$ Canadian, I am quite pleased with my 50ml, edp! Shall probably repurchase. The semi oriental-victorian vibes got me addicted, what can i say! Now, in Autumn, I am wearing this delicious fume and it wraps me up in a cashmere shawl... It has a scent that reminds me so much of fine boutiques, of quality clothes and mostly sweet smelling leather (a pink suede comes to mind). She truly achieved her desired result: a chic, long-lasting quality perfume that smells MUCH more expensive than it is. It brings to mind Shalimar, L'Instant Magique, Nanette Lepore, Tresor, Cinema and Prada Amber. I am supposing it is their 'luxurious notes of deep mystery' that lures me. I got my second bottle since I no longer see it on sale here, close to Montreal, where I live. : D . yes, I love it that much! It suits my personality: soft, sweet, warm and tenderly joyful

A great powdery scent. Not same as L'instant Magic but I can smell similaritys. Wonderful with a great punch of powder, vanilla, tonka and musk. After 2 hours it goes into my skin and next person have to stand very close or hug me to get a wiff of Vintage. Now 5 hours later it starts to get weak. But I like i alot. When I wear L'instant Magic its gone within 90 minutes, I guess its my skintype that makes that. Vintage is not totally L'instant Magic but L'instant Magic's sister.. Edit a few days later: It's really close to L'instant Magic on my skin. I have a friend who owns LM so I tried them both on separete hands, and my skintype keeps Vintage better then LM. LM is gone within 90 min. Vintage stays 5 hours + on me. En härlig pudrig doft. Inte exakt som L'instant Magic men jag tycker den liknar den. Härlig, med en rejäl dos puder, vanilj, tonka och musk. Efter 2 timmar så går Vintage in i huden och nästa person måste stå nära eller krama mig för att få en fläkt av doften. Nu 5 timmar senare börjar den bli svag. Men jag gillar den skarpt. När jag bär L'instant Magic så är den borta på mindre än 90 minuter, kanske min hud som gör det. Vintage är inte en kopia av L'instant Magic - men den kan vara L'instant Magic's syster.. Uppdatering några dagar senare: har en kompis som har LM och jag provade var parfym på varje handrygg. De är väldigt lika varann på min hud. LM är borta på mindre än 90 min och Vintage stannar mer än 5 timmar på mig.

It's one of those rare sunny days. It's early October, Tuesday afternoon. You walk aimlessly in Camden Market. You have time to waste, you're only meeting your lover in a few hours from now. Half lost, half on purpose, you end up in the vintage section of the market. The sweet vapors of sheeshas mix with the dust coming out of that old copy of Woolf's "To The Lighthouse" you've been flicking through. 75p, what the hell, you grab it. And then you turn around and you see that flapper gown. It's in bad shape, beads are missing all over the place, it must've used to be ivory but it's all sorts of yellowy beige now. Yet, you're attracted to it. You've never known your great grand mother, but you've seen picture of her, wearing a similar dress. On that picture she was with an handsome, intriguing man. All you know is that it wasn't your great grand father. You tilt your head as you stare at the derelict, once beautiful gown. You think of that man in the picture. Who could he have been? You slowly go back to the Canal. You feel like walking, it's such a rare lovely day. You don't know how, but you end up at St.Pancras, where your lover will arrive from his stay in Paris. You open your handbag and pull out your bottle of Kate Moss Vintage, you spray it on your wrists, bring them to your nose and smile as you stare at the Arrivals board.

I have heliotrope growing on my balcony so I am familiar with the scent of the flower and to me this is basically a heliotrope soliflore with a prominent hint of sweet orange in the opening. I love it. It is soft, creamy, delicately sweet in a floral way, and almost almond/vanilla but not quite. It's slightly powdery but gently so, and nothing is sharp or artificial about it. It's like a heliotrope-orange vanilla creamsicle. The dry down reminds me a little of Naughty Alice. It's about the same amount of powdery floral-sweet. My only problem with it is that it is SO close to the skin. Longevity is great but projection is almost non-existent. I want Vintage to stay with me but I can't smell at all five minutes after applying it unless I smash my nose onto my arm. It's not fair! It smells SOOOO Good! I am totally huffing my arm right now. Thanks to 2746cstreet for my generous decant. This should have been named Heliotrope, instead of the rendition by Etro which is largely a vanilla/almond liquor on my skin.

I absolutely love this! It smells beautiful and really lasts (on me anyway, but then most fragrances stick to me like glue). It's really reasonably priced and so I use this as my 'day smell' as I can afford to wear it all the time. It reminds me of a lighter and sharper YSL Cinéma, which is another scent I adore, but that one is warmer and 'thicker' somehow & comes with a much steeper price tag, meaning it has to be kept for best. Haven't tried Guerlain's L'instant Magic but will have to now as it is clearly going to fall within the types of scents I go for. I honestly don't smell old clothes or old tea bags or any of the other things people have said they can smell in this, I just smell a beautifully sweet and creamy vanilla-tinged floral. As celebrity scents go, this is definitely in a league of its own.

Vintage is very very smooth, beautiful, sophisticated and rich. Very much a skin scent, it clings very very very close to you, and smells expensive. All the notes are expertly blended so they all melt together as one. Pepper in this fragrance is extremely soft, mild, not overpowering at all. Sweet, but not sugary, Vintage is super light, totally soft and delicate. It is powdery, but not heavy at all. It's sheer, clean, fresh, light, lovely, delicate , understated and very classy. Totally feminine, Vintage can be worn anywhere any time of year. Vintage lasts just as long as all those similar more expensive fragrances. Love this beauty !

I remember reading the notes on this and thinking "Ugh. I hope I don't smell the freesia". I HATE FREESIA. Well, I CAN smell the freesia, but it doesn't smell like nail polish remover or plastic. Yay! I get a lot of citrus in the opening of Vintage. The mandarin is coming off more like lemon or lemon blossom on my skin. It remains through the life of the fragrance, but definitely tones down. Vintage is a cozy, creamy, powdery vanilla/tonka with a not too gourmand almond note. In some respects it reminds me of Jesus Del Pozo's In White, but the almond in In White is much more bitter.

I have tried this one again, and I just can't be bothered with it. There is definitely a stale smell in there which is what Kate was trying to achieve so she has done a good job because it does smell like second hand things like an old vintage antique shop. It doesn't last unless you use the lotion which is hard to get. It makes your clothes smell second hand so it just is a NO for me I just can't take to it. I will stick to Cinema or L Instant or something like that. I am glad some people like it because it is a pretty bottle and it is affordable so good luck to them I am jeolous!!

This is mainly vanilla on me. Not overly complicated, but beautiful nonetheless. I think winter and cold weather brings out the notes better than a hot day would. It is sweet, the almond notes are not screamingly loud but they bring sweetness into it, which could, on some perhaps be cloying. Its about chemistry and what you like in a perfume. On me, I don't get much jasmine, just enough to notice its subtle presence in balance with the rest. Worth checking out if you like sweet vanilla scents like Guerlain L'instant for example. Muuuuuuuch cheaper!

I think this is just lovely! To me it smells exactly how I want my perfume to smell. It is elegant and ladylike but in a very innocent and restrained way. The vanilla makes it soft, cosy and warm, while light flowers and citrus add a fresh and lively touch. To me it embodies a romantic kind of feminity without being too girly. The staying power is great (at least on my skin) and it fits either day and night. Altough my taste normally is more "expensive" I just love it and it will accompany my winter.

Always sad to see a fragrance flat line. Vintage was my all time favorite and my signature scent for many years. After it got discontinued I began my hunt in an enormous fragrance jungle, which lasted for many years. It is what sparked my addiction to trying out perfumes. Always with Vintage in the back of my mind and aiming to find something close to it. I now have found a replacement in L'instant Magic and Blu Indaco but Vintage will always hold a special place in my heart.💜

It is not a chypre, but it does have a vintage quality, mostly due to the powdery heaviness. It is very rich in warm and cosy vanilla. There is a hint of similarity to the first opening notes of L'Instant Magique, but not to its heart notes, and now that I have both, I no longer sense the resemblance. I am on my third bottle, it smells way more expensive than you'd expect from a celebrity fragrance, it's smooth and comfortable.

I experience most 'celebrity' scents are quite similar (fruity flowerbombs), but ever from the start Kate did a great job on her perfumes. After falling in love with Velvet Hour and Lilabelle, Vintage is the third one I've tried. This is a lovely vanilla musk which lasts a good 4 hours on me. And the bottle is to die for! I recently heard that all of Kate's perfumes will be discontinued, so do grab them while you still can.

This reminds me of Fendi palermo and the old Escada Signature that smelt wierd. I swear they all have that same sweet smell. I agree it is like l instant. I like it I try not to think about the vintage name because it pychs you out and you think of second hand clothing. If I keep that image out of my head it is a lovely fragrance and very different from J Lo than God.

This scent is AMAZING! I was not expecting it at all. Such a beautiful soft musky Vanilla, and strangely soft Lemon meringue mixed with it. Even though Lemon isn't even a listed note! I can not stop smelling my wrists, I have a lot of perfumes, but WOW I love this one. A definite fav, totally underrated! Very feminine and pretty!

Received my small bottle of Vintage on St. Nicholas' Day last year. At first I simply liked it but never paid that much attention to it. But now it's a whole other story - I love it! It's warm, feminine, comforting but also a tad sexy. Wearing it for the third day in a row and already received compliments on how good I smell :)

This is one of my favourites. When I first spray it,I get a lemony fizzy sherbet scent which mellows to a delicious sweet floral musky and slightly powdery fragrance. It must be perfect for my chemistry as it never has any nasty undertones and lasts all day. Just picked up a brand new 50ml bottle on Ebay for £11 :-)

Very pretty fragrance, for young women. Fresh and light at the beginning, it becomes powdery and sugary. It's very romantic. The bottle is very nice and the lasting power is correct. I like Velvet Hour and this one among Kate Moss fragrances. And I would like to test Vintage Muse.

this is definitely as its name says 'Vintage' scent. tea-like aroma, fresh citrus, vanilla and oldie's florals. I almost detect dewy scent which adds to the 'long time ago appeal'. no powder here. Longevity 5 hours. It's worth the price! aaaand the bottle is uber cute:)

At first, I`d like to thank you all who mentioned this being similar to L`Instant Magic, which I love, but hesitate to buy because of the price. That is so true and I need to get a bottle of this asap! So soft, warm and dreamy! Just like white pashmina scarf.

Veeery, veeeeery spicy, spices leave all the other ingredients far behind. But this is exactly what makes Vintage exceptional. I can smell carnation, cloves and cinnamon - they're not listed, I know, but they are definitely present in my bottle:-D

so nice I kept bottle one of my faves such a unique smell vanilla musk talcum powdery but in a good way it’s perfume I can imagine from the 30s or 40s &loved the bottle 🍈I’ve seen a few selling online never thought it would be discontinued

The nose behind this fragrance is OLIVIER POLGE. I love it, it reminds me a lot of L'Instant Magic by GUERLAIN.

I love this perfume. Reminds me of L'Instant de Guerlain which is my all time favorite perfume.

By the way I meant Fendi Palazzo not Palermo!! Not sure where I got that from.

[1075] Kate Moss' original, eponymous scent was a disappointment - a generic floral-fruity in a cheap bottle - but her two subsequent perfumes (Velvet Hour and this) were significantly better and more reflective of her image. Of course, this is all due to clever marketing, but both are decent, well-thought-out perfumes that are much better than the average celebrity fragrance of the time. I have Velvet Hour from the time of release, and recently managed to track down a small bottle of Vintage (now aptly-named) on eBay. Vintage is, in a nutshell, a sweet almond-vanilla scent, wonderfully powdery and hazy rather than syrupy. Curiously, I get a pollen-y yellow floral opening, followed by the hazy almond that permeates this scent. There is a hint of orange up top, bright and juicy, but it subsides fairly quickly. As it develops, the sweet almond accord becomes dominant, and dry vanilla enhances it nicely, adding powdery sweetness. The tonka bean in the base complements it seamlessly as it begins to dry down, smooth and softly spicy. It fades to a sweet, musky skin scent. Sillage is moderate initially and longevity is weak, barely detectable after two hours. It is a feminine transeasonal scent. Nicely-composed if linear, Vintage is a subtle, pretty take on an almond scent. I adore almond and its derivatives in perfume, and Vintage is a lovely example of a sweet almond scent. Powdery and hazy throughout, it is let down only by its limited performance, a forgivable offence given its (original) price point. Cosy, soft sweetness in a bottle. 4/5.

Let me start by saying with Vintage I only detected a soft subtleness. Very sublime actually. I totally love the classic square bottle with its light smoky quartz colour. In a way very vintage looking. This fume had me baffled for a while. When spritzing it at first I could smell absolutely nothing, yes notthing. Then 2min later I got a bit of a leathery smell like old shoe leather. I was beginning to think I got hints of what reminded me of Kelly Caleche which was rather strange but then with a complete twist it went all puff powder. There is definitely something reminiscent of L'instant Magique, but not completely. Vintage however is much more faint & delicate whereas L'instant is more full in your face powdery with a tinge of Liquorice , for me atleast. Once again personally if there is any comparison to be made then there would be more similiarities with Van Cleef First Love but yet again Vintage being the much more subtle one. So all & all it reminds me of pressed puffed powder but not the lasting kind. Maybe it was meant to capture the essence of a Victorian style womens beauty? So no mustyness just lots & lots of very delicate antique powder. Have to add that the stopper on the bottle was such a mission to remove. Not sure if thats meant to be congruent of the vintage feel Lol! Nevertheless its a likeable & non-offensive fume if it ends up fitting your skin chemistry, it most certainly agreed with me : )

Vintage by Kate Moss is the kind of fragrance that I really have to be in the mood for. Objectively, I think it's nice enough, but on some days it can make me feel a little bit nauseous, due mostly in part to its strength, which is very apparent on my skin for one reason or another. It just seems that some days I can tolerate it a bit more than others. In any case, this is a multi-layered scent composed of an amalgamation of woody, floral, and spicy/oriental notes. Its a warm, sexy musk bomb, with a touch of amber and vanilla. For a modern perfume, it definitely does smell like a vintage scent; the kind you'd find on your grandmother's dresser. (Something in the vein of Opium by YSL, for example). Having said that, there is the slightest masculine touch to this fragrance that means I wouldn't strictly categorise it as female. It certainly leans female, but I don't think I'd think twice if I smelled this on a man. For an affordable scent, this is definitely a great performer and something a bit different to your usual linear fruity florals. The sillage and longevity are great on me! A couple of sprays lasts me virtually all day. Also - the bottle is gorgeous. The multi-faceted olive green flacon looks much more high end, and looks gorgeous on my shelf.

I like the fragrance but I don't like Kate Moss. In the beginning of my particular interest in perfumes, that is about 1,5 ago, I came across Vintage and fell in love with it fast. Nowadays I know why - it is a cheaper (still great!) reference to L'Instant Magic and I love/like many fragrances of Guerlain. I admit that this is a modern show of vintage style in this fragrance and it's a very good perfume. Suitable for cold days, with almonds, tonka, pepper, mandarine, jasmine, vanilla well detectable. A touch of vintage but in a good meaning of the word, feels classy even if it's signed by a celebrity. I like the bottle very much. Staying power is good. It reminds me of L'Instant Magic or Boucheron, Trouble a bit (but Trouble is darker). A bit of Burberry Brit. A thick perfume- one of the best signed by celebrities. Compared to L'Instant Magic: imo Vintage is lighter, L'Instant Magic is darker. It's a very good attempt to imitate L'Instant... but L'Instant is more classy, made of better ingredients, that's Guerlain! Also, L'Instant is black/pink in my imagination and Vintage is bottle green/white. All in all Vintage is a very good celebrity perfume, I haven't tested anything better from this shelf. Lasting power on me - about 6 hours.

As a vintage lover and colector I was really curious about this fragrance. I don't mind wearing celebrity fragrances, most of them are great quality for a modest price, besides, although not a huge fan, I like Kate Moss. The creator of this fragrance is Olivier Polge, the nose behind Gabrielle from Chanel and one of the creators of the overpopular La Vie est Belle. The bottle is really beautiful, I love the classy design and it really fits the name, as the scent itself. The scent is very powdery, romantic, I smell lots of vanilla mixed with heliotrope ( which is one of my favorite notes), with a hint of pink pepper, not a very complicated scent, yet very elegant and classy. I only wear this scent during autumn and winter, I find it too sweet for warmer season, the longevity is more than decent, on me it lasts 4, 5 hours and if I spray my scarf with it, it lasts for days. Too bad I can't find it anywhere, I believe it's discontinued, which is a shame, I only have a 15 ml bottle so I can't wear it too often. I really recommend this scent, in case you like powdery, soft scents, with a bit of luck, you might still find it in certain discount stores for a steal.

Picked this one up on a whim: just sniffed the unbelievably pretty bottle. Other Kate Moss fragrances haven't really agreed with me, but Vintage and I have become very good friends over the past few weeks. The opening is light and airy: fresh flowers, pink pepper and something almost a little metallic behind it all; perhaps the freesia-citrus combination. After it's settled for a while, it develops into a very pleasant and cosy scent: soft, warm and slightly sugary. And here's why I think it lives up to it's name: in many modern fragrances, the different components stand out a lot, sometimes almost fighting for attention. But in Vintage - as well as in many of the old classics - the different notes blend together nicely, none of them breaking off or taking over on its own. The final drydown has a little sweetness, a lot of pepper, and that vague metallic scent - which makes me think this would also work on some men - is still hanging in there. A subtle, likable scent; maybe nothing for a wild night out, but great for everyday wear. It seems to last a lot longer on me than on other people, but of you want the initial kick to last, reapply during the day.

I've frequently worn Kate Moss Vintage lately. At first I only liked it a little. It has grown on me and I like it more and more. I still think that the opening is quite sharp and spicy -- I think that's because of the tonka bean. The drydown is lovely, though. The opening doesn't offer much else than tonka bean (at least that's my best guess), but the drydown is mellow, sweet and cozy. I think that the vanilla and almond blossom come into play in the drydown. So, the three dominating notes according to people's votes here on Fragrantica seem to be right. However, they are just dominating the fragrance at different stages. Sillage is okay and longevity is quite good. I spray three times on each of my knees and I can smell it sometimes when I walk. I can still smell Vintage the next day, but then it has turned into this sweet, mellow fragrance. The drydown is not that powerful and so its sillage fades. It doesn't bother me, 'cause I like the fact that the scent's sillage and character change. It's still just a 'like' because of the spicy opening, but if I only had to consider the drydown, it would be a 'love'.

I tried it in a shop today, I was driven to it by the bottle, how beautiful and unusual is that little gem! Now the first thought that came into my mind was (like Marisa36 already noticed) second hand clothes! It's the typical smell you get when you enter a vintage shop, mainly from the suede leather coats with fur collars. It develops shortly after that into a lemon cake, brings you back to the suede coats over to my Grandmother when she hugged me good night back to the lemon cake, meadow-summerwind which fades down in the vintage shop... it is a nice smell, very soft, not sweet. Staying power is ok. It's just such a delicate smell it vanished from my skin after 2 hours but still lingers in my pullover since 4 hours now which makes it smell second hand. Not sure if I like that...

I agree that the name Vintage suits this perfume. If I were a method actor I could use Vintage to take me anywhere in time from let's say the 1960's back to the 1920's. There's something about this powdery, musky scent that allows my mind to wander. Now to the scent. My favourite stage of Vintage is the citrus and pepper opening. It reminds me of Moschino Couture! although in Vintage the citrus and spice has been turned down slightly and the powder has been turned way up! The citrus and pepper soften into the drydown. I'm not getting much vanilla or flowers, which may suit some people not into very flowery perfumes. Instead I detect more heliotrope, tonka and musk. Overall, I enjoy this as a change of mood from my mostly white flower wardrobe. Nice!

I sampled this on my wrist today, since it was discounted to only $17 at a drug store. Top notes: Reminiscent of red door and other 'affluent mature lady'-type perfumes. I'm just not an oriental spicy person (the top notes smelled quite spicy to me). Drydown: Very nice! I like the musk and vanilla combination here- it's not really unique, but it's quite pleasant and still smells like an expensive perfume. The drydown took about 5 hours to appear, though, and I'm not sure if I would purchase this for the drydown alone. Longevity and sillage: It has been about 7 hours since I sprayed this on and it's definitely still there. Sillage (on me) is moderate-to-heavy. Dislike the top notes + love the drydown = Overall like

Delicate, powdery, somewhat tart and very lady-like fragrance that bears a striking resemblance to the heart notes of Guerlain L’Instant Magic. As other reviewers have said, all the accords here are perfectly blended to create an impression of fragile silk and heirloom lace. A glance through the listed notes will help you analyze what you were smelling: mandarin orange, vanilla, the sweet sensuality of tonka bean and the old-world powdery marzipan note of heliotrope and almonds. Vintage is selling for next to nothing at grocery stores and other outlets, where it’s probably being impulse-bought for its low price rather than for the wonderful quality of the scent. It’s been discontinued, so grab it while you can.

Absolutely in love with this little beauty! My oh so tiny 15 ml bottle is small enough to carry around and apply often - pretty much a mandatory thing since the staying power is nonexistent, 15 minutes maybe. Sillage too, so very discreet. Still, I love it! From the shape of the bottle, its powdery-vintage green shades, the soft pepper and vanilla and powder accords. Everything but the poor longevity. Simple words to describe it: comfortable, cuddly, warm, delicate and feminine, nothing old-lady-ish about it! Another blind buy, another instant crush. Similar feelings i've felt after trying Yves Rocher "Vanille Noir" - serenity and comfort for rest of the day.

Vintage is - like Kate herself - effortlessly chic. It is womanly (with the flowers), sweet (with the vanilla) and fresh at the same time (with the citrus) and quite grounded and hearty somehow (heliotrope and tonka?). I took my miniature bottle on a trip to Portugal and I must say that throughout those few days of my journey, Vintage had been an extremely pleasant companion. Every time I put it on I kept thinking "what a loveable fragrance"! It does remind me slightly of both The Iceberg by Iceberg and Trouble by Boucheron and the longevity is pretty poor, but for some reason I still can't stop thinking that this is a loveable one! :-)

The name 'Vintage' really suits this scent. I bought this blindly based on the reviews here,and it does remind me of vintage clothing stores. There is the dustiness of a vintage shop,which is quite pleasant. Its scent is of 1920's style hats,aviator jackets,old pinstriped suits,shirts and blouses of years gone by. For some perhaps,it's a trip down memory lane. There is some vanilla warming this but,I'm not a big fan of vanilla,so I would have used a powder note instead. But I do really like this,and the bottle does have a vintage look and feel. This is a nice relaxing scent. In fact,it is quite unique,and sooo incredibly retro. Try it!

I don't get much citrus from this but a lot of amber and a musky overall scent which is warm, and dries down beautifully on my skin's chemistry. Rather beautiful in a warm and understated way, this one smells like class to me in that it doesn't scream to be centre stage and I can easily imagine this suiting almost anyone. Edit; I now own a bottle (yay!) and I can smell mandarin in the top notes, (yuum!), and a ton of amber and vanilla mingling with almond, it is absolutely gorgeous and warms beautifully on my skin. A definite keeper.

This is not unlike Cinema at all. And I love Cinema so this is fine with me. It ̈s muskier and less bright than Cinema and the mix of florals are less original, but it definitely reminds me of it. I always enjoy citrus with vanilla since without it vanilla gets boring soon. I know lots of people have issues with freesia, but to me there could actually have been MORE freesia in this. The heliotrope and almond blossom are very cozy and quite sultry, actually. I think this is good, but having Cinema too I kind of don ́t need it.

When I first smelled this perfume I didnt like it, and it sat on my shelf until running low on my signature scent one day I decided to use it rather than go without perfume. It is very soft and subtle, perfect for daytime wear to work, nothing overpowering. There is something however during the drydown that catches my nose that I cant pinpoint and Im not overyly fond of it. Like others here I didnt find anything special with this fragrance, its ok but nothing exciting.

I had high expectations for this perfume the bottle is beautiful a art deco emerald cut light bottled green colored falcon reminiscent of 30's glamour or jean harlow's dressing room or the movie dinner at eight. i'v been anticipating this for days but when it arrived i was dissapointed i expected a heavy incense oriental but i got is a light wispy scent of freesia orange cherry blossom to me it's a lighter younger version of chanel eau premire this has to grow on me.

Very special sent. It smell very vintage. It remind me my grandmother house. The old cosmetic. I like it and not in the same time. Finalement après plusieurs semaines je l'aime. Je crois qu'il m'a fallu l'apprivoiser celui-ci tant son odeur me semblait étrange. Il ne tient pas vraiment longtemps par contre. C'est un parfum léger que je porte le soir avant d'aller dormir. Il me réconforte et laisse un léger aura «vintage» à ma taie d'oreiller :o)

Not a stand out fragrance and sadly it doesn't last long on my skin. It's not too expensive though and is more suited as a day perfume since it's a light scent yet have some notes of musk, a bit vanilla and citrus. After wearing Vintage for a while the vanilla and freesia is the most prominent on my skin. I have to say for being a celeb perfume the bottle is very nice and suitable for it's name, can't say the scent reminds me of vintage though.

I do like this scent but there isn't much too it. Without meaning to offend I would describe it as 'cheap' smelling. You are immediately hit with a strong powdery scent that is quite overpowering. It does settle down into a creamy musk with clear notes of warm vanilla and Tonka bean. After a while this does start to smell quite nice on my skin but for the first hour you will smell a bit like a doughnut factory on fire.

pretty yet seems mature i rate this as what i'll wear if im going down to my local for a few drinks with the girls, nothing too fancy, id be eating a steak, drinking bourbon and wearing jeans.. not a everyday fragrance but not one to wear anywhere overly special dont get me wrong i do like it its pretty and its cheap and the bottle looks quite nice in my bathroom

I am not getting as much vanilla from this as I would have thought. This is mostly a combination of musk and almond blossom to me. This has a clean soapy quality mingled with warmth, and is only slightly sweet to me. This is one part floral, one part powder, one part soap, a dash of sweetness, and balanced out by warm clean musk. I am very impressed with this.
