Kate Spade New York Bloom

Is this a groundbreaking scent profile? No. BUT it is a lovely shampoo-y fruity floral. As the comments describe, it’s definitely a scent sister to Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and I’d also argue a scent cousin to My Burberry Blush- light and fresh, like you just washed your hair with expensive shampoo. Apple, citrus, and light florals are a winning combination to make you feel clean and refreshed and their use in this scent does exactly that. I’ve been testing out Kate Spade perfumes since Twirl, which was my standout favorite in recent history, and this one is very reminiscent. Bloom has got that pretty, airy floral and sparkling fruity quality in the DNA just like Twirl. It is a great everyday and/or workplace scent because it’s really inoffensive, pretty and makes you feel put together! The sillage is intimate and performance isn’t spectacular (90 mins) but for an EDT, this was about what I expected. Overall, I’m happy with this release from Kate Spade and don’t think you’d be disappointed if you’re looking for a clean, shampoo scent. Of note, the bottle is heavy and feels luxurious- I’ve been disappointed with the packaging of some recent designer releases, so this was a pleasant surprise!

Not sure why this one isn’t getting good ratings, this flanker is a nice light fresh take on Kate Spade New York. If Narciso Rodriguez Her EDT was the clean musk of the early 2000’s, this is pulling early 2000’s freshie vibes. Could be D&G light blue but there is definitely something else it is reminding me of and I can’t figure it out. Usually apple is a sharp not for me and almost instantly gives me a headache but in this is subdued, at least on my skin. The yellow floral is balanced with the white floral, she is sweet but not nearly as sweet as the OG or Sparkle. I think this is a fun spring/summer scent - easy to wear and still projects. On skin she is a bit more citrusy than testing on a scent card - the card at the fragrance counter still smells more floral. An hour into wearing the fragrance on skin floral has faded into the sandalwood and other base notes

This is nice. I like it but I don't know if I need to keep it in my collection. It reminds me of a mix of D&G Light Blue mixed with Versace Bright Crystal. I'm getting floral, musky, clean (slightly powdery)vibes. I get the tiniest hint of citrus, barely there. I find it slightly sweet, but not as sweet as I prefer. It reminds me of laying in a field of clovers and tiny wildflowers, lightly sweet and green. It's got spring vibes. I don't find it to be super strong or long lasting on skin. Lasts longer on clothes but the performance just isn't anything to write home about for me. Probably wouldn't repurchase but it's still a pleasant scent. Edit: I realized this also reminds me of Moonlight from Ariana Grande. That one leans more citrus, musk, powdery for me too.

fresh, shampoo-y green apple & white florals, grounded by a strong cedar base. I want to make this clear: by no means is Bloom a bad perfume! I think it smells lovely and it's a very fitting flanker to the original Kate Spade NY. the citrus & apple are very bright and uplifting; it's quite reminiscent of D&G Light Blue but with a softer, girlier vibe. my only complaint about Bloom is its performance...it lasts all of 45 minutes, even when sprayed on clothes. i wasn't expecting it to be a beast, knowing it's an EdT, but I was still hoping for at least an hour or 2. this would make a great feminine gym/office fragrance - inoffensive, intimate, and fleeting. it's appropriately priced (more or less) too, allowing for worry-free reapplication and/or overspraying.

Like a citrusy slightly fruity sweet shampoo with enough woodsy notes to make it a little fancy. It's nothing groundbreaking, just nice and clean. I imagine a vibrant fun but put together young woman wearing this. Perfect for an office job since it's so inoffensive. The thing is, it doesn't last on my skin at all. Usually I don't have a problem with the longevity of my perfumes, but this one has even worse performance than my body mists, it doesn't even last on clothes. I tried to over spray, to use it with scented and unscented body lotion, to layer it and nothing, it just disappeared in less than 30 minutes. It's lovely but not worth it for me. Maybe someone else has better look with its longevity.
