Live Colorfully

Beautiful. A better version of TF Eau De Soleil Blanc - no pistachio obviously - but to me, the pistachio takes a while to show up in that one - & it's undoubtedly more tuberose than anything - whereas this, is magnolia centric - but although it doesn't hv pistachio, it has an almost suede-like accord, from magnolia & a v light but beautifully beachy vanille - which together almost mimic the pistachio in TF EDSB & all of the accords in this together create a wonderful, layered perfume, a real summer delight - & frankly, it's far better than TF EDSB. This is, also v similar in many ways to Replica Beach Walk - thank goodness I didn't bb that one - so plastic-ky, & sun tan lotion-esque, not wearable outside of holidays/vacationI think + it was so plastic-ky & had such a screechy jasmine, I had to scrub it from my arm, bc the plastic-ky stubbornness & general sceechiness became nauseating for me. This though, is a far better perfume - which has the essence of RBW, without any of the plastic mess of notes, or unfortunate actual sunscreen accords (am not trying to offend anybody who likes RBW - just making sure that anybody who is about to blind buy that one, thinks twice, & tests it as I did - normally I don't but.. - & that one is not cheap at all - but - this is similar to it, whilst being so much better.) There's definitely a smidgen of ylang-ylang in here, as with RBW - but nothing excessive - nothing here, smells dated about this, as ylang can often be - there's just a teensy bit of something herbal in the base - which reminds me of a certain niche perfume that I cannot remember the name of - only a tiny bit though - it just gives a little something to the light woods in the base to stop it being without substance. The notes on here say gardenia - but it isn't gardenia at all - the magnolia here is very clear - not particularly lemon-y or 'green' but undoubtedly magnolia - if you've ever smelt magnolia blossoms - this is those - & it is a gorgeous 'beachy' style perfume where the magnolia is allowed to shine - there's a little citrus in the top notes but nothing excessive. This, however is such a 'white' perfume - the name & bottle are a real mismatch. I had been looking for a better version of TF EDSB - & this is definitely it, it lasts better, is more rounded, & despite there being no pistachio - that accord is mimicked so well by the magnolia mixing with the light, delicate but substantial vanille in this - that I don't miss it. (I will try layering Demeter Pistachio with it - as I also layer it with the TF (bc the TF doesn't hv enough pistachio to me - & was ruined by the excessive tuberose - it honestly reminded me of Juicy Couture edp - the original - which I cannot bear.) This is such a gorgeous, beachy perfume - present but not too strong, perfect for summer, as long as you don't spray too much - maybe not in very high heat in the daytime in summer - but amazing for balm-y summer evenings - it was something I came across by accident - which I really like - the price is pretty good - the bottle is a bit flashy but not unattractive - tbh, if this was in a TF bottle, or other pseudo 'niche' bottle am sure ppl wd go mad for it - frankly, it doesn't smell cheap at at all - on the contrary it smells v expensive - not sure why the bad reviews - not particularly synthetic smelling either; for me, I think they really made good job of this, (I was hesitant, bc the other two Kate Spade perfumes I purchased I didn't like - Truly Graceful - green bottle - too shampoo-y for me, with no depth in the base, Truly Dazzling - blue bottle; slightly better but still, no depth & not 'expensive smelling' at all - just not my thing, & nowhere near the glowing notes description, espc the 'green' perfume - but this, is excellent - am thinking of getting a couple of backups incase it disappears - just lovely - really lovely. I may look at sunset version, depending on the notes, bc this is such a good one. Obviously, it's a summery perfume though - it is v beachy - maybe you could wear it from mid-spring too, but uts a summer perfume, & might not be ok for the office particularly, although it is not a 'holidays only' perfume - it isn't sunscreen or something that you 'couldn't wear' outside of beach holidays - myself, once I take it away from TF EDSB, & think of it outside of beachy settings - it's a pretty, magnolia perfume - & probably wouldn't be that out of place anywhere, from mid spring through the whole summer. I would say, give this a try, if you are on the fence about it - & don'tlet any previous 'Truly' by Kate Spade perfumes put you off - bc this is without a doubt the star perfumeof this house - am not a huge floral fan always myself, but love magnolia so much - & am recently coming around to some florals - & this is beautifully feminine, without being "too much." It also has that 'luxury beach resort vibe, that I was promised with TF EDSB - but far more so. Exotic, but nothing too much. There may be a little coconut - milk though, rather than anything else, but that's fairly subdued - it just gives this a lactonic, & creamy vibe - but completely without the sunscreen-esque vibes - as many of these types of perfumes hv, & therefore overstate, the vacation vibe - this doesn't go too far, but has that delicate, coconut milk thing which makes it so pretty. (For reference, I'm not a 'coconut in perfumes' fan - it has to be very good, for me to even think about wearing coconut - nothing plastic-ky or 'cheap body spray coconut, here. No air freshener vibes either.) Definitely 4 or maybe even 5 stars for this. Not usually my type of perfume, at all really -but a real good one. I suspect, the niche perfume snobs are amongst us with some of the bad reviews; I really think if PdM or TF put this out in a different bottle it would be a huge hit, for summer.

Beachy, exotic, refreshing, sweet, floral, fresh, watery, fruity, citrusy, bright, warm, creamy, cheerful, feminine, delightful, uplifting I did previously review this, but I wanted to add my updated review in hopes of describing it better, and giving a better impression of the scent. On me this opens with a fresh and citrusy burst of juicy and bright mandarin orange, cool, watery, and refreshing water Lily, and with just a whisper of powdery star anise. As it starts drying down it becomes more exotic and floral with creamy gardenia, exotic and sweet Tiare flower, and tropical coconut. The further it gets into the dry down the warmer and more sensual it becomes. The sensual vanilla, the golden warmth of the amber, and the soft touch of musk help to balance out the watery and fresh scent of the water Lily and the bright citrusy mandarin top notes. This was one of my early beachy/tropical/coconut fragrances, and helped me to discover just how much I loved them. It also helped me later in finding some of the notes that I enjoy the most, like coconut, Tiare flower, vanilla, and amber. It’s also part of how I discovered how much I love the scent of monoi oil, because I pick up on it to a slight degree here because of the coconut and Tiare flower combination. It has that vibe, but it’s also much lighter, brighter, more fresh, and refreshing. I still really like this one, but I don’t reach for it as often as I used to now that I’ve found ones that I enjoy even more. For reference, some of my favorite beachy/coconut scents include Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Yves Rocher Monoi Eau des Vahines, Kilian Sunkissed Goddess, Replica Beach Walk, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust For Sun, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, Bobbi Brown Beach, Kayali Maui in a Bottle, Kayali Maldives in a Bottle, Ellis Brooklyn Sand, B&BW Coco Paradise, B&BW Oahu Coconut Sunset I get really good performance with Live Colorfully. The longevity is decent, about 6-8 hours before I feel like it may need a touch up. The projection is nice, it radiates out a few feet from me.

I got a sample of this. The sample was white florals, but a lot of waxy, creamy coconut that was basically all it morphed to in the dry down. It was really strong, I was told when I sprayed more than twice it was headache inducing, by more than one person. There was also a waxy scent that almost teetered on being a bit plastic/doll-like. Still, there was something about it I loved and wanted to buy a full bottle. I just figured I'd spray it very sparingly. So I bought a bottle, a 50ml, and I'm so glad I did. This is one of those instances where the sample is more concentrated than what's in a full bottle (an entirely different topic to discuss, for another time). Normally such an contrast is not a good thing, but in this case, it's a great thing. The bottle is a lot gentler and softer. The white floral shows up cleaner and fresher and with an edge of aquatic that makes it smell slightly crisp. They're very gentle white florals, no indoles, but very, VERY pretty nonetheless. I love Hawaiian flowers: gardenia, plumeria, pikake, hibiscus. This says it's supposed to be gardenia and pikake, but IMO it smells closest to white plumeria with a little white lily mixed in (that crisp floral scent). Mixed in is a very soft coconut water with a soft white vanilla. It adds a very creamy accent to the white florals that compliments them beautifully. I'm especially happy because this is a very real coconut water scent (like breaking open a young coconut), that waxy edge I mentioned in the sample is now just like the slightly waxy smell a real coconut gives off. Has very decent longevity. Edited: Unfortunately, about 1/3 through my bottle, I seem to have developed a sensitivity toward this scent. Every time I spray it, I sneeze, and the sensation of needing to sneeze never goes away. Noting this because I've never had this reaction to any type of fragrance before. Of course this is a personal issue, not implying this will happen to anyone else.

I have loved Live Colorfully since it first came out. My mother and I were at the mall, and the sales lady was actually giving out samples (which rarely happens) and when we smelled it, we were so pleasantly surprised. Beautiful white florals! I didn't realize at the time that this was what is commonly described as a beachy fragrance. I just smelled the most beautiful bright, watery gardenia and water lily, watery but not watered down. And that coconut, mmm. Mouthwateringly fleshy and sweet, nutty too. It lasts on your skin and hair and just smells even better in water. After having smelled Replica's Beach Walk, etc., I see how this perfectly fits in with other beach/vacation perfumes. But I think this one has this watery aspect that the others don't have, not ozonic - I really don't know how to explain it. I guess I imagine gardenias, jasmine, tiare flowers and more floating in a sparkling stream. So gorgeous. I only bought a mini when I found it on sale and bought the full bottle for my mother in law, but if I saw it again, I might pick it up for myself. Love this bottle, too. I also just realized how many flankers this fragrance has, I've gotta try those, too!

This fragrance brings me to tears...LITERALLY It reminds me of my mother, her natural scent, and I love my mother. Let's get into the fragrance. I was a little worried at first, not knowing what to expect, but a coworker walked by and I was entranced. Very light, very alluring, and slightly sweet. I was hooked! She went to Nordstrom's and bought me a bottle of the EDP 1/7 ounce. I am in LOVE! First of all, despite the gardenia note, which we all know can be extremely overbearing, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is not in this fragrance. Also, Jasmine, a note that my body chemistry loves, also is not dominating the scent. The blend of Jasmine, Coconut, and Gardenia is just right! On my body chemistry, the fragrance releases the right amount of scent at the right time. I had women tell me, you light up the room in a good way, and I could not smell it at all! That's when you know you did it right!!! Now to my mother, she is deceased and I miss her dearly, but she had such a naturally sweet fragrance. At the end of the day when I change out of my clothes, I catch a whiff of her in this fragrance. Warm, Sweet, and confident. I love this perfume!

Hi everyone! Just received my Kate Spade, New York, Live Color Fully. Since I smelled it in a magazine last month, I couldn't wait to try it on, unfortunately I could only purchase it in N.Y.C. Nodstroms, so I'd have to wait. Thank goodness they have a purse size roller of the fragrance for a very reasonable price. I was hesitant about trying out a perfume I only smelled from paper; but I liked it so much I bought the roller-ball size. I just received it and am so pleased to say I love it! I'm past twenty,thirty etc., but I still like to live my life "color fully" and the perfume brought me happy memories and even more happier memories to come. It encompasses all the joy spring/summer should include; and those dreams and sultry cold winter days and evenings too. If you haven't tried it yet, do so. Soon it'll be available everywhere and everyone will be spritzing it to, but don't let that stop you. Perfume is meant to be personal and the one person it should please the most, is you!

A friend gave me a bottle of this because they were moving, and I have to say, it's become one of my favorite every day white floral scents. It's much more "basic" than I what I generally like in perfume, but the scent is beautiful, energizing, and uplifting. It's conventionally feminine and not particularly sexy, so I often layer it with musks or civet if I want to dirty it up a bit. The "story" of this perfume and its marketing is made more complicated in my mind by the fact that Kate Spade committed suicide. This is such a positive, "I have it all together!" smell–it's deeply ironic to me that it was created by a woman who was privately suffering. I don't want to romanticize mental illness here, but I feel like the contrast between the image of sophistication and success created by this scent and Kate's tragedy is part of my experience of this fragrance.

A very pretty, warm, appealing fragrance that I can enjoy all year around for I feel florals are nice in the summer but also very good in cold weather which it is now. I highly notice the sparkling mandarin with the pink lily in the background which is quite alluring. This perfume is slightly sweet yet nicely floral which quickly evolves into a lovely floral bouquet making it to me a anytime perfume to wear especially on a date for the men in my live feel it smells so pretty and I agree. In fact it is the only Kate Spade perfume that I like that is not a skin scent and last all day. It dry downs to a creamy vanilla/amber scent which I love!!! It has good projection that's not over powering that last all day. it would be a good dress up perfume to wear but I would wear it day or night in jeans and a T-Shirt. A very enticing perfume that pleases the senses.

One of my favorite beachy summertime fragrances! I desperately wanted this when it was released and I wasn’t at all disappointed! I still wear it regularly to this day! The notes that are prominent to me are coconut, Tiare flower, and vanilla! The Tiare flower is perfectly prominent here which I absolutely adore! It’s sweet, but not overly so. It really is such a beautiful fragrance! I even have the matching body lotion! I find it to be similar to Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust For Sun, and Replica Beach Walk! I get great longevity with this, it lasts the whole day on me! People can usually smell it if they’re within an arm’s length of me! Just for reference, some of my other favorite beachy/coconut fragrances (besides those mentioned above!) include Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, and Bobbi Brown Beach!

Think white sundress, bronzed skin, and wind in your hair. what surprised me most is how beautifully this fragrance performs in the heat. the warmth amplifies its floral heart, making it feel like it’s melting into your skin in the best possible way. it projects just enough to get noticed, never cloying, never overbearing, and leaves a soft, sunshine trail behind you. while it’s undeniably sweet, it isn’t juvenile. the dry-down is where it shows maturity: soft musk and amber, like sun on your skin.

Beautiful! I did not see the notes ahead of time and had no idea what to expect. From the pretty little bottle, I thought it might be the latest fresh-n-fruity concoction. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by a voluptuous, tender, slightly green gardenia and some other white flower blended with a spirit dose of coconut. I have been bored with mainstream perfumes for some time, but this was such a delightful and impressive surprise. It reminded me very much of Matin d'Orage by Annick Goutal but probably half the price. I think I like this better! I almost never buy white florals, but this might be the nicest gardenia perfume since Marc Jacobs Essence, my all-time gardenia favorite. Please try this if you love gardenia. It really pays homage to the flower.

This is one of my absolute favorites from Kate Spade! I have most of them and this one stands out to me as one of the highest quality smelling of the ones I have. It is so fresh and uplifting, a perfect scent for vacations, but fabulous for summer! There’s something in there that reminds me a bit of Fred hayman’s 273 and Shahd from lattafa. It is similar but still different enough to have all three in my collection. I don’t pick up the coconut much, but it does have a creaminess that must be coming from it. It’s bright floral, creamy, tropical, slightly soapy, and I love it!

Beautiful, classy, and charismatic. It's a lovely fragrance to wear for public in any kind of fashion, that's what makes it so versatile. I can't stop sniffing my wrist when I wear it and it lasts a decent amount of time. It's oh so girly and perfect for teens looking for something a step up from britney spears fruity fragrances as this leans more to floral. I just keep thinking of so many fond memories of being outside and going to farmers markets. It really does put me in a happy mood. It may not be everyones cup of tea but this is my lemonade.

Tropical flowers mixed with a lifesavers gummy smell I know that probably has you cracking up, but as serious as Live Colorfully wants to be, it's big white tropical flowers with a soft whiff of lifesavers gummies! I think it's because this perfume has some citrusy fruits in the background, big bold flowers, and then just a hint of soft powder from the coconut and amber and that powder is quite youthful. Just like Kate Spade's witty charm in handbags and goods, this scent is proper but playful.

I love love this! I love the bottle, the way it smells on my skin. It has something lushly tropical on me. I am a newbie on telling what is what, Although I like what I like. I truly love good smelling stuff on me, all the time too. I spritz a little scent on my body after the shower even if I am going to bed. This is really rich and pleasantly over powerful. The bottle reminds me of a nicely wrapped present that's just for me. I will keep this as a keeper in my fragrance collection.

I just got my bottle of this in the mail today after anxiously awaiting its arrival. I am not disappointed. The gardenia is definitely in the forefront but mingled in so gracefully is coconut and lily. Those are the only notes I immediately get, but they are amazingly well done. I feel like I stepped off a plane into a tropical paradise and it's just what I needed. The days here are getting crisp and cool and this is a sweet taste of summer. Love, love, love it.

I really enjoy this perfume, it's light and summery to me but not like suntan lotion (which would be fine with me as I love those scents). It's not overly strong and doesn't last a long time which is what I prefer. I'd rather have something that I really like and can reapply if I want to and not something that lasts forever until I get sick of smelling it. This seems to be the only Kate Spade I enjoy of the ones I've tried.

I’m very surprised by this fragrance. I did not have high hopes about it for some reason. It is such a happy scent. It’s floral but in a tropical-ish way? The notes on here are different than the notes listed on the kate spade website. Coconut is not listed on the site and neither is gardenia. It also has magnolia listed instead.. after reading those notes, it made a lot more sense to me. Anyways, I’m in love.

This starts out aquatic - very much so. Lots of water lily and lotus...but, fortunately, it turns into a beautiful, tropical brew that's uplifting and refreshing. This reminds me very much of Philosophy's discontinued Field of Flowers Peony (even though Peony isn't listed as a note...). Live Colorfully is very long-lasting and really enjoyable to wear.

Gorgeous ladies at my local Priceline gave me this ad a gift as well as walk on air. I thought I’d love walk on air because the bottle is so nice but this one is my favourite. It’s like being smack bang in the middle of a massive garden. It’s really strong but unique, refreshing and nice. Smells high end and wow strength wise it packs a flower punch!

A creamy white floral. I should wear this one more often. I had forgotten about it, decided to wear it today and I'm feeling super happy with how I smell and feel today. Office safe, doesn't project loudly but still able to smell on my skin and clothes throughout the day with whiffs. Update: This has become a love. I can't get enough of this.

Oh gosh do I love this one. Delicious, uplifting, girly, and harmonious. I just finished my bottle and am so sad about it. It smells like warm white florals with a bright/sweet/juicy orange note, that is rounded with creamy coconut. The notes together sound summery but Live Colorfully is so well blended that it just smells 'happy'.

This is such a yummy and joyful scent. Very creamy white florals is mostly what I get from this, with a wet and dewy quality in the opening from the water Lily. It is so uplifting and refreshing, perfect for daytime wear. Although I don’t feel like the scent exactly matches the name “colorful” I do feel like it is a VIBRANT scent!

I just bought Hollister wave 2. Bottle is the same color and it's the same juice inside. Live colorfully is fuller, longer lasting, and costs twice as much. Hollister 2 is a perfect cheaper version. $12 for a full bottle. Kate Spade full bottle I spent over $30.

This perfume is exactly what I was looking for- floral,clean, and sweet. It smells like gardenias. I got it at a sample and fell in love with it. It's a beautiful scent and about medium strength. I wouldn't wear it to work as it might be too strong for that.

What a nice surprise. This is going to be my summer fragrance. The mandarin orange start up, creamy coconut, tiare-gardenia floral notes are fabulous, but it's the star anise that makes this a unique scent. I love this so much I even bought the Dry Body Oil.

This was my signature scent when i was younger and the memories it evokes are wonderful. Such a perfectly done coconut. The white florals come on strong but balance with a nice sweetness thats in there. And what a magnolia! Gorgeous.

I just discovered this one and I must say I am in love! It smells like vacation. It takes me back to being at a Disney World Water park in the summer, surrounded by people wearing their sunscreen, the flower gardens and water.

This is the perfect summer evening fragrance and one of my favorite gardenia perfumes. The gardenia, coconut, and vanilla combination is so lush and creamy. Tropical, warm, and radiant. A very luxurious scent. Much love!

One of my favourites! Similar to Aerin Lauder Hibiscus Palm but brighter/fresher and less salty/lactonic. Surprisingly tropical, warm and almost soapy with short longevity (2-4 hours tops). Major spring/summer vibes.

I adore this fragrance. It's sweet but not in a way that makes you sick. Indeed the name is suitable because it makes me happy when I use it. I think can be used also in day time but also for a date in an evening.

I love this scent soooooo much! It smells very expensive. I love collecting perfumes, and this is the only one out of all my many perfumes my husband loves. This is a sweet not sugary sweet white floral perfume.

Keyword:Sweetness Kate Spade came out with this fragrance that is sweet and peppy. It has a citrusy flower smell to it that is very nice and floral. Some compare it to gardenias, I think of oranges and citron.

I just ordered this perfume from Nordstroms. I absolutlely LOVE IT! It is sublime to say the least. I usually wear the original Marc Jacobs in the spring, but I am now truly hooked on this fragrance.

Draws Compliments! Long lasting! If you like fruity florals & a touch of vanilla - I highly recommend Live Colorfully! Be prepared to answer, "What are you wearing?" :)

This is a mix of MM Beach Walk with a dash of Lancome Tresor Nude, sprinkled with Aerin Hibiscus Palm.

Reminds me of high school, skipping classes to kiss a boy in the hallway type sh*t. LOVE.

A very nice, simple, inoffensive gardenia-orange-coconut scent (most prominent notes in that order) with monoi vibes. It isn’t super coconutty, I mostly get gardenia-orange. Much nicer quality than the price suggests. Isn’t so strongly “beachy” that it feels out of place indoors, I’d say this is more of a perfume for an office worker who lives in Hawaii. Beautiful flowers, subtle tropics, clean and fresh. Doesn’t have any cheap/fruity body spray synthetic vibes that put me off. Unique enough that you can own this even if you have other monoi scents. I own a few of the “reminds me of” scents listed and none are quite like this. I’d say the closest would be Hibiscus Palm by Aerin, but the palm/woody notes in HB give it a slightly green/aquatic/cologne-like smell (which I love but turns off some reviewers). Live Colorfully has those notes turned way down, barely there. The tiare is present here as well, but it’s also turned way down, allowing the gardenia to shine and only giving a little boost to it. This does NOT have any magnolia as another reviewer mentioned-thankfully, as I recently discovered I dislike magnolia and to me it smells synthetic, musky, fake-sugary, and a bit bad breath-like. I unfortunately had to sell a few expensive frags because a little magnolia ruined the whole scent for me. It isn’t a beast mode fragrance, but it does perform. Might need to overspray a bit and reapply but it has moderate silage and lasts about 4-5 hrs. Most summer scents with these notes only last 2-3 hrs max on me and never project beyond “skin scent.” I bought a new 100ml for $35 on ebay, I feel like I got such a bargain!

I received Live Colorfully almost a year ago and it took me some time to really like and appreciate this scent. It is different than most floral scents. It comes out with some type of white flower, which I guessed to be honeysuckle but was wrong, and then a deeply rich, powdery bite, that cuts through the sweet floral like a knife. It feels like it wants to be an oriental perfume and since I’m not a huge oriental fan this is the part of the perfume I struggle with the most. Please don’t misunderstand me, Live Colorfully is not an oriental, there is just a biting scent to it that makes me feel like it could lean that direction. After the initial bite wears off the white floral really comes through, but it is richer.l, not as powdery as it was in the beginning. I like the middle because it has a little earthiness to it. Like rain just fell on the flower garden making the florals sing and the earth strum, keeping a beat with the pulsating heat of the sun. It is bright, beautiful, and somewhat sexy, but not inappropriately so for work. The dry down is a continued walk after you have left the flower garden. You can still smell those sweet scents that you have already left, but the powdery warmth still envelopes. you from afar. I find the dry down still carries that sexy, sweet vibe, but it has more of a powdery tone to it, making the sexy more sensual and inviting. I really like Live Colorfully, which in some ways surprises me because I’m not big into perfumes with a heavy floral presence. It is beautiful, but most importantly it makes ME feel beautiful when I wear it.

An ebay seller included a sample of this for free with my order, and I'm so glad, this wasn't even remotely on my radar! I'd never think to try this otherwise. This opens with an awesome harmony of mandarin and fresh florals. It feels breezy and soft, but also sweetly elegant. I find it to be more centered around summer notes, but not necessarily watery or "refreshing" (it's not weak), but rather a moderate and uplifting scent. I smell a combo of gardenia and what almost seems like magnolia (but maybe I'm trippin') I'm not sure about tiare flower, and I'm not sure I've ever been exposed to them personally, but this does have a tropical feel. Sundress worthy 👗 It makes me feel calm and fresh, yet it does have some warmth to it in the base and it's *slightly* scratchy with that musk. If It is amber, it's not the resinous, noticable sort. But the vanilla isn't cloying either, and I wouldn't definitely this as "sweet" at all. I think it's ironic that it's named "Live Colorfully", when it's predominantly white notes 😆 Well, it's definitely one of the more underrated things I've experienced lately even if I'm late arriving with this. None of the headlining designer releases I've tried lately have been this good. It's a decent fragrance that still could be considered a "crowd pleaser".

One of the first tropical floral scents that I bought back in the early days of me collecting perfumes. This, along side Guerlain’s Terracotta and Martin Margiela’s Beach Walk, started my obsession with tropical, beachy, coconuty, exotic smelling perfumes. I am still loving it on the rare occasions when I am wearing, because I think it’s discontinued. It has such a beautiful looking bottle and such a nostalgic feeling. Live Colorfully is a gorgeous white tropical floral with sweet, coconut, vanilla base. Mixed with all these, in the opening there’s some juicy mandarin orange and a soft, powdery star anise notes. The soft spice anise is not normally associated with tiare flower, water lily, coconut or gardenia flower. I think that the addition of star anise and the amber in the base is what makes this stand out amongst the other tropical scents. Feels more warm, spicier, softer, rounder, cozier. The performance is not that great but with overspraying I get 6-7 hours of longevity. Sillage is minimal and stays very close to the body! If Live Colourfully would have more oomph and projection it would be a total love for me. At the time I purchased my 100 ml bottle, it was very inexpensive. Very good price for what you get. And that bottle, stunning!!

Just a brief review from my impressions based on a test dab on my hand. The first and strongest note I got was tiare, mixed with gardenia, and it remained the dominant note throughout, with some coconut and vanilla in the background, until I went to bed about a couple of hours later. In fact, it didn't seem to change much in that period, or only very slightly. I actually love tiare, the tropical, beachy image it evokes, sun-kissed and exotic. I love this too from my brief wearing, but it smells so much like The Body Shop Polynesian Island Tiare to my nose, that I feel that I could pass on this for now. (I have already have the Body Shop fragrance mist.) Both are perfect beach scents for me, best for the heat and for summer wear. They smell like sun-warmed skin at the end of the day at the beach. In spite of the similarity, Live Colorfully is fuller bodied and somehow richer than Polynesian Island Tiare, which smells a little watery, like it is made with coconut water instead of coconut cream. But I still love it anyway, so I can pass on Live Colorfully for now. Until maybe I find an irresistible deal on it. Overall, a love, but I don't need it in my fragrance wardrobe at this time.

Mmmmm...coconut and gardenia in perfect balance. I could never wear this all the time because it is indeed quite strong, but I love the way Kate Spade does white floral. I loved her first fragrance because of the authenticity of the gardenia, honeysuckle, and other flowers, and I could easily detect each one and say, "ah, there's the honeysuckle" or "ooo, there's the gardenia". Live Colorfully is the same way. I totally pick up the gardenia/tiare/coconut, and the drydown gives just the tiniest hint of amber to warm it up (I'm starting to notice as I get more into fragrance that my chemistry does not work with a lot of the common bottom notes, including amber, if they're too heavy). This one is a charmer for sure. I think I'd actually like it for a spring-into-summer timeframe. Too hot outside and it could be cloying, but too early in the spring and the coconut may feel out of place. Right now though it's winter and I'm smiling because this took me to an island for a little bit. Definitely gonna pick up a rollerball before my sample is finished.

I usually don't like perfume with coconut in the composition because it always reminds me the scent of tanning salons. This one is the exception. I was not totally impressed by it but was pleasantly suprised. Wearing Live Color Fully to me would be like adding that pretty hibiscus flower in your hair while looking at the turquoise Caribbean sea. What can i say ? The coconut is very well blended with the gardenia, water lily and vanilla and gives it a great fun tropical but classy vibe. Its a cute fragrance in a very pretty coral and gold bottle. The name suggest that either you have to be happy to wear this or it will make you smile and i like that. I wouldn't wear LCF during winter season and especially not here in Montreal Canada from September to May but I will probably buy a small bottle before my next trip down south or next summer since my husband loves coconut scent =)...and since its the exception =).

beachy white florals...y'know, your typical gardenia-tiare-coconut combo. perfect for spring & summer, blooms in hot weather. it seems to be discontinued, which is a shame. as "basic" as this DNA is, it sure does work, and that's what matters. lasting power is ok, maybe 6hrs on me, sillage about at arm's length (which is fine). where I think Live Colorfully stands out is in its opening. there's something wet smelling in the initial spray (water lily??) that is just so, so interesting! it keeps the florals from becoming too heady and makes it just fresh enough to hold up in the heat. I think it works beautifully with the other florals, and that wetness is something I haven't smelled in many other fragrances like this one. I really like this, and honestly I think I'll repurchase if/when I run out.
