TRULYdaring

TRULYdaring smells like spring. I imagine a young lady wearing a light pink chiffon dress and a sun hat strolling along a street with cherry blossom in full bloom above her and pink roses bush lined below the trees. She gets a delightful whiff of roses and cherry blossom when a wind blowing gently. After the wind stops, the smell disappears just like it never existed. Then she went about her day. I totally agree with the user TillyWave saying that the name should have been ‘TRULYdarling’ instead of ‘TRULYdaring’ because nothing about this perfume spells ‘daring’. Pink does not equal to ‘daring’ IMO, red does. This perfume is very soft, almost non-existent. You can never offend anyone with it, not even yourself. I’d say BBW’s body mists last longer than this and have even greater sillage. It’s a shame really because this smells lovely and calming, suitable to be the first perfume for teenagers and young adults.

I blind bought this fragrance for around $20 a year or two ago and never wore it. I gave a sample to a friend who loves all things Kate Spade, but other than that, it’s seen little to no use. I decided to revisit it today and I like it! It’s perfect for spring into summer. It’s a bright, somewhat green and dewy peony rose scent. The peony/rose combo has been done a zillion times but I’m not mad at it. It’s a super easy reach for warmer weather. It’s pleasant, inoffensive and safe. I can definitely smell it, unlike some other reviewers, but it does indeed wear pretty lightly, similar to a body spray. It does have some similarities to Oscar Rose, but I like that one much better, lasts longer and has better sillage. I still enjoy this, its pretty linear, but an easy pleasant daytime scent.

This makes a great fragrance for work or a first date. It is light and simple--safe. I do not see it as "daring" in any way. I do not think it is anything unique but it would be a perfect candidate for blending with other fragrances to add more zing.

I'm in the mood for rose scents currently, despite it being autumn, and I'm playing with the ones I own. Maybe it's just because this is super old (like 2020 old) but this sample has no scent. It's a toilette, so I expected it to be light, but I had to DROWN myself in about a dozen sprays to get any scent, and even then, it's very subtle and doesn't last that long. Pretty, but once the 8ml sample I have is done I don't see myself repurchasing this. Especially not for the $95 that Big W wants for it.

I have blind buy this and feel so regret 😭 I’ve knew this perfume from youtuber. She said that This perfume smell like loreal elseve oil in pink bottle which are my favorite. But sadly it not smell like that at all.This perfume smell to sharp for me, no floral things, smell very cheap. Very regret to buy this.

This perfume is cheaply done and I Can barely smell anything. I really regret buying it

It's warm, it sunny, the breezy air feels inviting and heavenly, and I'm in the mood for a Cherry Blossom scent. This is more difficult than it sounds. There's not that many, there's a huge divergence in interpretation of this blossom accord, and lastly it seems like all the perfumes are either in the $25 range or the $250 range. So onto this: Truly Daring actually hits the spot. I mostly smell magnolia, cherry blossom, a rose-geranium type of thing, musk, and the barest hint of a plastic note. The warmer it is, the darker in tone this seems to bloom, almost like a black cherry that rises with the heat. It smells like a plush dark pink, and it's not as light as the write up would have you believe. Truly Daring is MADE for sundresses and the first warm days of summer and perfume to be worn right out of the shower before you put on a light kimono and have a glass of iced tes. It's and easy, likeable feminine floral. I think that the name should have been "Truly Darling" or something like that though because this isn't daring at all. I paid about $25 shipped for this, it scratched my Cherry Blossom itch, and I'm happy with the performance (good sillage and about 6 hours of wear on my skin give or take) for that price this is 100% worth it. That said, when this wears off I'm probably going for a spritz or two of Amouage Blossom Love for something a hint more substantial.

I got a four pack sample of the “truly” fragrances at Ulta for &10.00. Being a floral lover, this is the first one I tried. It’s a lovely scent and yes, it smells like pink. A bright, shiny pink, not a light bubblegum pink. Definitely strong peony. I kind of wish there was peppercorn in this and perhaps cedar in the drydown, but these fragrances are clearly designed to be extremely simple. It’s a pretty fragrance but not special, nor is it daring. I’ve smelled this note in one form or another before, and as a scent we are familiar with, it feels like it’s unsophisticated as the scent seems to be the same from start to finish. This is a fragrance I’d give to my young daughter as her first fragrance (if I had one) . I think this would be a safe gift for the pink, floral lover who is a perfume unsophisticate. There is nothing offensive about it and it’s quite simple and pretty and uninteresting. I’d buy it for 15.00 at TJ Maxx but will not spend $60.00 on it.

It's not really very daring. It is a nice rose scent and almost soapy smelling. It's a scent that would be okay to give to Grandma. Pretty but not daring at all.

It smells pink...like my niece's edible lipgloss...I've never smelled anything so "truly daring."
