Mmm...so fresh and so clean! Imagine that you crush dewy green leaves and grasses in your hands after a rainfall and mix them with drops of aloe vera fresh from the plant. To me the opening has a fresh cut grass thing going on too, but it goes away with the drydown. A cool scent but not astringent or tart. Has a very soft green floral tinge, like clover. After the drydown this fragrance becomes very very soft, so it will not overwhelm others. You'll smell squeaky clean and fresh. Longevity is just ok - I got about 4 hours. Unisex all the way. Love this one!

I purchased a 4-pc "Truly" mini and I find this one to be exceptional! I've always loved the scent of Ralph Lauren Lauren and find this TG fragrance somewhat similar so I'm thrilled to have discovered this. TG is a bit lighter, more spring/summery than Lauren, but I find the notes to be so very similar. I find this TG scent uplifting, outdoorsy, and yes.... GREEN! It's delightful - not too sweet, not cloying at all - it's light (but has depth, and it's not one that just disappears in 30 minutes) and it's clean, green, fresh and beautiful!!

My first impression on spraying it is that it smells just like the inside of a florist's cooler. Fresh, damp cut stems and greenery. It's very green, but more in a realistic plant matter sense than a "smells like the impression of the color green" sense. I really do like it. I am definitely buying a bottle to have once my decant is used up. It also has a lot of layering potential, when you want to boost a green note or add a green note to an existing fragrance.

One of my favourite green perfumes, this smells like I imagine a walk in a lush rainforest would. Bamboo, freshly cut grass, wet leaves. Very realistic and not synthetic at all. This was a blind buy for me, I only briefly checked some reviews, and I was not disappointed at all. I mostly reach for this perfume when I go for an early morning walk in nature - it enhances my feeling of being surrounded by dewy plants.

Wow, what an amazingly beautiful fragrance! I adore this. It is super, super green but not grassy, more fresh floral but you can't pinpoint which flower it smells like. It has good lasting power on me and works well with my skin chemistry, which is usual for fresh scents. I have to say, this is well worth the money and I encourage people who like truly fresh scents to give this a try. Worth a blind buy.

I just stumbled across this today, along with the other Truly.. fragrances. Tested them all, but this was the only one with wow factor. Beautiful cool green notes, dewy and fresh. Would be lovely any time of year, but would probably be extra nice during hot weather. I've been sniffing my arm all afternoon, tomorrow I'm heading back to the shop to buy a bottle. Truly beautiful, fresh and elegant.

This fragrance literally smells like the color green. Smells like you are walking through beautiful greenery, there is nothing fake or synthetic about this scent and how it dries down. It is light and easy on the nose, wears loud for about 30 minutes and dries light for the rest of your day.

My word this is good. A very under rated green perfume. Good sillage and longevity on me and now a very reasonable price on eBay. People mention a lily note which isn’t listed, but I get why they say this, it’s a green lily note. This is just all round a really pleasing fragrance.

The first time I sprayed this I thought "WOW this is GRASS!" I keep going to Ulta just to spray this! I normally don't like green scents, but this is glorious. Unfortunately, the green/grass smell leads to a slightly sweet fresh/green scent. This is light and airy.

Gorgeous green scent. Smells like extremely expensive sunscreen in a really good way. Great for outdoor spring/summer days when you want to smell like something but don't want to attract bees/flies/wasps/etc. I love this scent.

The bamboo is really present at first spray but quickly disappeared after 2 minutes leaving this beautiful green scent. I love it and keeping my bottle unlike Truly Daring

I just layered with Cartier Baiser Vole Essence - perfect fresh spring combo!

I don't normally respond well to fragrances claiming 'bamboo' as a prominent note, which is why TRULY Gracious is so surprising. Right out of the bottle - green goodness! In essence, this is a fern-like and verdant green scent blended with a hint of something almost old fashioned - quite pleasing to those who love the likes of Molinard de Molinard, for instance. I don't mean to imply a similar complexity or longevity (none of Kate Spade's releases seem to have much of either), only that you will find yourself surrounded by lush GREEN. Since a woman's release with an unsweetened and unapologetic Greenhouse theme seldom hits the mass market shelves, I'm here to happily recommend trying her for yourself. (Testers easily on hand at Ulta.) Whether pretending you're strolling the hills of Ireland or recovering from gourmand overdose, TRULY Gracious may well be what the doctor ordered. Green lovers rejoice!

I purchased this because I wanted a perfume that smelled green, and green I got! To me it's a very linear green, sharp and slightly bitter like a freshly cut Dahlia stem, but not exactly freshly cut grass. But there's an underlying sweetness throughout the life of this perfume. It reminds me faintly of indoor bug spray and gardenias, though gardenia isn't listed as a note. It's a greener version of Kate Spade's Walk on Air, and I actually do prefer this one. I feel that it mixes well with some powdery perfumes as well as helping the longevity of my older Miss Dior from 2012. I get a pretty prominent scent bubble for several hours, but after the first hour people might not comment on it. The perfume is surprisingly long lasting when sprayed in clothes. I sprayed this on my chest well over 8 hours ago, and I still smell it if I put my nose to my dress.

This is very refreshing, and, unsurprisingly, green. To my nose, there is something in it of a cut stem. It is really delightful. Coming from me, normally a gourmand girl, that is quite a compliment. I think it would be great for summer. It's an EDT, so I would be surprised if it had much staying power. It reminds me more of a body splash than anything else. Although maybe I am getting faked out by the green color and see-through bottle. I only sprayed a little in the air and on a strip at Ulta. If they had had a mini or a roll-on, I think I would have bought one. Maybe someday I will step up to the $65 bottle. Edit: I, too, tried this one because I had read that it was similar to Lauren (From late 1970s in the deep burgundy bottle.) It didn't remind me of Lauren at all, and I don't know where I will look next for that nostalgic Lauren fix.

Another positive blind buy, even though I didn't end up with what I'd hoped for. I've been looking for a match for the original women's Ralph Lauren perfume for eons, with no luck. I saw here that this was described as such by a few people, so thought I'd give it a try. While it's very similar to Lauren, it's not as spicy or floral, but it's still as close as anything I've smelled so am glad I tried it. I would say it smells more along the lines of Rainkissed Leaves by B&BW, being a predominately green fragrance and definitely more so than the original Lauren formula. Bamboo leaves, green sap and musk is what we get here and it's green without being sharp, bitter or sour. My search for a Lauren match will resume, but this will keep me happier as I continue.

Kate Spade Trulygracious opens with bright green notes and watery lily of the valley. This is not a sharp Lily of the valley. This is green, rounded and soothing. Later comes wet, fresh mown green grass. So fresh it smells like the real thing. This is the wonder of modern perfumery; you can spritz a tiny bottle and instantly have incredibly realistic green plants smelling so fresh and alive. Like you are right there, gardening after a spring rain. Absolutely marvelous. The rain notes are so fresh it's almost an aquatic. This is a beautiful wet garden in the Spring rain. If you like green notes, you are sure to adore this one.

One of the very few new greens that is not obnoxious to my nose. It never turns sour or awful but maintains a lovely greenness throughout. Not complex, perhaps, but decidedly wearable for this 'calone' (aroma chemical) hating skin. No melon, no aquatic notes, just pure bamboo and tropical clean-green feel. As most fragrances with bamboo go distinctly awry on me (again, that offender, 'calone'!), I am impressed. A lovely change of pace from the sugared approach to scent.... Summary: Though floral, classic greens such as Molinard Molinard appeal more, I would not turn down a bottle of this gentle and unassuming tropical green.

Green of Greens This is green. As far as scent goes I don't have much more to say about it. Pure unadulterated green. Green bamboo. Green grass. Green ivy. Green moss. Green bergamot. Green rolling prairies. A mix of sweet and bitter. Nothing resembling dirt or soil or earth, everythign is above the surface. Green and nothing much else. I mostly love the bitter ivy note. Beautiful. Wears loud for 30 minutes and after that dies down to a skin scent for about six hours. I love green and this is easy to wear. It also reminds me of Gap Grass which I really loved back in the 90s. Solid hot weather like.

This was a random buy at Tj Maxx. I LOVE it. Idk how to explain it but it is defiantly green but not in an unpleasant way at all.I wanted a green perfume and this does not disappoint. I saw where someone said this smells like the cut stems of flowers and I see that!! That isa great description... but to my nose it seems to morph into something else green later on. It makes me think of beautiful greenery dripping with morning dew in a lush forest. This is a goodie. I have now come across two Kate Spade perfumes that I really love. Very nice surprise!!

Blind buy from TJ Maxx. I like a nice, clean, crisp green perfume and this is it. I saw a comparison to Gap Grass, and while I see similarities, this fragrance is softer and delicate in comparison. I do note some type of flower, though it’s not listed in the notes. I noticed with this perfume that it tends to stay similar throughout from initial spray to dry down (do pick up some shampoo-ey) vibes. I don’t know if it is one I’ll reach for often, but I would consider it a safe blind but.

This perfume smells almost exactly the same as Clean Classic Rain (which I love). very fresh and green! I think I smell gardenia in here. The only thing I don't like about this is the 0.25oz bottle doesn't have a spray nozzle. It's a dab bottle. Why make a dab bottle when it's big enough to be a spray bottle? smh. I'm gonna have to buy an empty spray bottle to transfer it to.

Got this because of the comparison to Gap Grass. Opening is very much the 90’s version of Grass, I was so happy! Definitely a freshly mown lawn vibe with a little flower in it. Dries down to mostly floral though. The Lily of the valley is strong. I still like it, but the fresh grass smell is gone. It’s still a dewy, green, pleasant scent though which I will definitely wear.

Very similar to the discontinued BBW's frag Lily and Green Tea, only more long lasting. No disrupting floral, no citrus/ginger/mint/pepper that brands usually resort to to reinterpret ''freshness", and nothing too grassy either. Just pure fresh morning air in botanical garden.

To me, this smells like bamboo and dewy grass - very fresh and almost feels aquatic. A simple and soft green scent that I can imagine wearing while taking a walk in nature.

I like that there's something spicy & savory in the middle. A rather special green scent and the best in this collection :) Edit: Basil! It smells like fresh basil!

Bought a while ago as a sample pack. As an eau de toilette it's not the longest lasting or strongest, and being a green fragrance it's not something I normally go for, but that was the point of purchasing it. I wanted to branch out and try something new. This is definitely a height of summer fragrance for me. Not too strong. Now that we're heading into the colder months, I don't want to touch it, so luckily finished it up just in time! I won't repurchase.

Very refreshing, unique bamboo and green notes. Today it's 37 degrees celcius outside and I put on this one that just arrived. Lucky to be able to get it at a huge discount (70% off, guess it is going to be discontinued?).

GREEN! it smells like the stalks of fresh cut flowers. Somewhat grassy mellows out to the Lilly after about 20-30 mins. Great summer scent.

Got a bottle of this for £5 so can’t really complain for the price. This scent really isn’t me though. Totally blind bought (didn’t even look up the notes online) as I already had Truly Dazzling and I adored that (much more my taste), and for the price I had to try it. The bottle is a lovely green ombré, but that’s where the likes end for me I’m afraid. This smells like freshly cut grass and plants with earthy soil undertones. Probably nice if you like that sort of thing, but due to suffering with hayfever most of my life during summer this smell just makes my nose wrinkle as I associate it with itchy eyes, sneezing and feeling generally miserable. Totally understand that it is my personal feeling based on association and circumstances, but I think even if I didn’t get hay fever I wouldn’t necessarily want to smell like grass cuttings and soil. This perfume is unique in that I haven’t smelled anything like it before. It is very ‘green’ if you are looking for that. I love Kate Spade as a brand but this one’s just not for me.

Oh, wow, not a full review but just a comment that Truly Gracious reminds me so much of the top notes of the original Lauren. Just the top notes, not the chypre body of OG Lauren. And nothing like the current version of Lauren. (Current Lauren has been completely reformulated in all respects and should not even be called Lauren.) The opening of the original Lauren that EVERYONE wore in high school. Very green, aromatic, and strong, a real perfume. Truly Gracious opens with the same green fresh blast. It does not develop like Lauren and is not a replacement, but it is evocative of Lauren. Wish it lasted. This is grassy and herbal and almost makes it into Clairol Herbal Essence Shampoo from the 70s territory. Very close. In the seventies I was a little elementary school kid with hair all the way to my knees. I used Clairol Herbal Essence Shampoo, the old green kind, and since my hair took so long to dry, I would smell Herbal Essence all the time. Green perfumes seem so marginalized these days. As Kermit the Frog famously said, "It ain't easy being green" I guess.

Got a sample pack of the Kate Spade Truly line at TJ Maxx and TRULYgracious stands out to me. I am a fan of several different scent profiles and I find "green aquatics" tend to be some of my favorites, although there don't seem to be that many out there. Gracious falls into that category, IMHO, with definitive green notes, stated as bamboo in the notes list but could be just as easily called grass, green foliage, or succulent. The green notes read spring water to me or even lake aquatic. I get lily of the valley in a light, just-blooming, and non-heady sort of fashion. The "sap" and/or musk underpin it all solidly but unobtrusively, like a barely moist forest floor, and without any animalic quality that I can detect. It's uber refreshing, barely sweet in a floral way, and unsaltedly aquatic, which is such a nice combo. I can't imagine anyone being offended by this scent. I do wish it lasted longer but it's an eau de toilette, after all. I only have the sample but I expect to buy a full bottle, I'm enjoying it that much.

Dear members of the Fragrantica. This is not a review but a kind request to those of you, who had the chance to smell the fragrances of the Truly collection. Being a member of the Fragrantica, I was quite curious about K. Spade's fragrances, but because I can not find them in Greece, where I am located my only option is the internet/ebay. First of all, I was quite surprised because the majority of them, judging from my quest on the ebay, were quite expensive. So, do they really live up to the hype? I recently found some good deals on ebay on the fragrances which belong to the Truly collection, so I would really appreciate any comments. I mostly love fresh, floral/fruity fragrances not very sweet, because I am not that young any more (43 to be exact) so I would appreciate your thoughts. My instinct leans towards the green bottle (truly gracious) but I would love to hear any thoughts from those of you, who had the chance to smell them at first hand. Thank you very much for your time. I truly appreciate it.

This scent is absolutely gorgeous-- clean, watery and green (but no hint at all of cut grass thankfully). It has a tinge of floral in the background, but that might just be the musk mixing a bit with the bamboo. It's beautiful-- I just wish it lasted longer. I have all of the scents in this line except the blue Dazzling one, and this is my favorite of the bunch, which really surprised me. They are all very well done and easy to wear-- I can't imagine anyone being bothered by these. They're all light and just overall pleasant. However, even when dousing yourself, it only lasts a couple hours until it disappears completely. These are some of my favorite scents straight out of the bottle, though, when they're strong enough to smell, and I have 100+ fragrances. I'm considering buying backups, especially of this one, while they can still be found. Kate Spade has several really beautiful fragrances, in my opinion, but this line has some of her best-- I just wish the performance was better!

I really ought to know better than to blind buy at my big age. But I don't! I do have a good excuse though. A good friend of mine who lives in the caribbean has this, and I smelled it on her and it was divine. At least I think this was it, I remember thinkign Amouage reflection vibes. And it may be different in the caribbean heat, but in the England heat this smells like straight up lilly of the valley - with green stems, mind you. I do like it, but love? Not sure....the lilly of the valley is always a bit dated to me. Maybe this wasn't the kate spade she mentioned but what else will give green vibes like this? I will have to double check...I'll try this one again in the spring, these types of scents always feel different in the crisp spring cool air. Edit: Tried it on a rainy day and what a difference. Goes perfect with a dewy rainy day. The lily is understated and the greens come out. Definitely a weather dependent shapesifter. Anyhow potentially up for swap - UK only.

I just bought this for $20 at T.J. Maxx the other day. Total whim. I usually don't love super green fragrances. But this? This is gold. It's fresh, comforting, pretty, and it lasts! When you first spritz, it smells like when you cut the bottoms off of flowers you've just purchased. It then morphs into the entire flower... The stems, and the flower. So beautiful. Easily the best purchase I've made in awhile, and I own many niche fragrances. Don't sleep on this one if you see it :)

I absolutely loved this fragrance at first smell and had to have it. It doesn’t smell like anything else I have come across in my opinion. The fresh green bamboo scent is perfect for daytime wear, is still very feminine and I don’t think would ever be overpowering or polarizing to anybody. It has no floral notes in it. The staying power is average, wish it was longer but at this price point makes sense. Not a statement maker but perfect for everyday wear.

I tried this on a whim at Ulta but the second I sprayed it I immediately noticed how similar it was to Ralph Lauren Lauren Perfume and I was ecstatic! Its not an exact dupe for the wonderful perfume from the 80's. Not as complex and spicey but close enough and certainly better than Lauren's reformulated version. The clean sharp bamboo of Gracious is so fresh and the base of musk gives it depth and decent longevity. Great scent for Spring & Summer.

This is a pretty green fragrance. I got a small bottle as part of a Kade Spade set at Ross. It has a smell of summer and working in the yard. If you like green fragrance then this might be for you. I would say though not to spend too much money on it. It's not a long lasting real perfume. More of a Green Tea type scent spray for summer. It sort of smells like fresh scent laundry detergent sometimes.

Green, green, green! The humid and dewy smell of stems and leaves. Exactly like the refreshing blast of a florist's cooler. This is in the genre of Balenciaga Florabotanica, but better. I bought three backups to use in heavy rotation during the summer. Notes according to my nose (in order of prominence): hexenol, bamboo

A blind buy and unlike anything I have ever had before. It starts with a strong fresh bamboo scent which smells similar to when you get flowers and trim the stems and add water. It's fresh and a perfect spring fragrance. After a while the musk comes in and it smells more like a floral green bodycream.

The bamboo provides the very fresh beautiful green scent. Mildly soapy to my nose with a hint of musk. Cannot detect any woodiness. Very pleasant edt. Affordable. I gave away Hermes Jardin sur le Toit as it was too screechy a green note(s) freshie. This I like much better. Enjoy! ✨

A pleasant, versatile, cool cut-stems green scent with decent longevity. Those with nostalgia for Gap Grass and/or rubbing dandelions on their arms will appreciate this. Like the scent, like the bottle and packaging, hate the name for being both generic and saccharine.

This perfume stands out from the other perfumes on store shelves. It smells quite different. It has a very juicy, feminine, grassy scent. The grass smells so sweet and succulent, it almost creeps into cucumber territory. It's lovely, I recommend it.

Very fresh and relaxing. Something along the lines of Herbal Essences shampoo...very nice. I had no hope for this brand but this is a nice surprise. It does have a lot of alcohol in the opening but it gets better in a few minutes.

One of my few perfumes that I will reach for on really hot days. It won't be cloying but will make you feel like it's bringing the temperature down by a few degrees. It smells unique, an aquatic bamboo fresh scent.

I just sampled this in Ulta. What an exquisite scent. So fresh and green like fresh dew dropping on green grass with a touch of sweetness that's obviously coming from the musk base.

This is quite pretty. I'm surprised to see it listed as a "woody" scent - - - the bamboo wears very aquatic on me and is almost a solinote. Safe, work-appropriate, and subtle.

I love the top notes but it does become pantene shampoo. It's quite inoffensive but not my thing. very green and fresh. Like walk on air I think. very similar.

I am rather new to the fragrance world (I am just learning to pick out individual notes) and it was interesting to see musk interacting with green notes
