Freedom Musk Bouquet | 27 Eau de Parfum

Musk Bouquet seems to get the most “dislikes” in a lot of the videos I’ve seen, but many of those reviewers also admitted it’s still a nice scent—they just aren’t fans of musky florals. I, however, adore musky florals and florals in general. To me, this is a perfect blend of whimsical jasmine and soft musk. I love ylang ylang, so its addition—along with the praline and pink pepper—gives this an almost sweet, musky profile. It definitely reminds me of a few other scents: mainly Narciso Poudrée (it’s VERY similar), with a touch of the familiarity found in the new Donna – The Ivory. It’s mid-40s to low-50s here, and this has been on my skin for about seven hours now. I can still smell it on both my skin and my clothes. It’s not strong, but it’s consistently enjoyable. I can see this layering beautifully with Musk Santal from the new Freedom line, as well as Musk 12, Elixir 11, and Fleur Majesty. I also really feel like this could be worn in any season, day, or night. This could be pretty in the evening on a date or at a rooftop bar, and could also be really nice just on its own in cold weather. Solid 8/10 for me!

This ended up being my favorite from the Freedom collection. The opening is a gorgeous blend of sunny ylang ylang and jasmine, then it melts into a soft vanilla musk with a hint of rose. The dry down is creamy, clean, and slightly powdery with the sandalwood and praline adding just enough warmth and sweetness. It leaves your skin smelling elegant and feminine. I've caught myself smelling my wrist all day. This also layers beautifully, I’ve been layering it with Sand and Skin from Floraiku to bring out the warmth from the ylang ylang and the creaminess from the sandalwood and vanilla. If you love warm floral musks that feel expensive and effortless, this one is absolutely worth trying.

STUNNING Clean girl aesthetics! This is a lovely soft but fresh & solar everyday morning/ brunch perfume. Or even after a beautiful shower when you want to smell clean but also clean expensive. Perfect for work, university or anywhere you want to smell clean & non offensive or headache inducing! This is my favorite of the line followed by Musk Santal. Only because I have Musk Santal vibe in my collection & would layer well with The wedding g Silk Santal. It’s for going out smelling more put together outfits than a clean girl morning or brunch scent Musk bouquet gives. Both are lovely but this hit home & right up my alley for everyday!

This is beautiful! Very, very powdery - this is the perfect early-spring fragrance. It wears quite close to the skin but persists for hours, I could catch a sniff of this throughout most of my 8h working day. The rose and jasmine are prominent, it really does smell like rose-scented baby powder throughout. The vanilla becomes more prominent later on, which is pleasant - it's less a sickly-sweet candied vanilla and more of a subtle, neutral vanilla. Really lovely fragrance, I think this is perfectly office-safe and a crowd-pleaser without standing out too much.

Yep that's doll head alright. But boy do I love it. Initial spray is bouquet of flowers. Very loud and proud bouqet of flowers 💐. Green, fresh, bright, heavy handed floral punch. Then quickly softens to a powdery plasticky (in a good way) doll head. I can see how it reads mature/elderly but that's just the powderyness. I'm surprised that I like this one, but I can't stop smelling it. Theres something so familiar about it. Some kind of nostalgia. If you like this one, try Memo Paris French Leather.

This concludes my trailing of the Freedom series by Kayali and I have been completely stunned by how much I enjoyed these fragrances. Musk Bouquet is gorgeous - I was expecting something generic but this was made with a lot of intention and care. Warm, sweet creamy, florals have evidently been missing from my life and I find myself craving this scent profile after using up my sample. I’m desperate for a bigger size than a 10mL - same goes for Musk Matcha and Musk Latte !

I got the set of minis and this one is by far my favorite, there is something nostalgic about it, yet it isn't like anything I have in my collection. The florals are sweet and beautiful and I really hope this will be released in a full size, cant speak for the longevity but generally Kayali fragrances can be a bit hit or miss. Ill edit the review in a few days.

I have long looked for a soft, musky vanilla that has more oomph than Prada Candy Kiss, which I love. This is it! It's a perfect floral vanilla musk, beautiful from start to finish. It's sweet without being cloying. I find it very classy and elegant. I hope to get a full sized bottle soon. Love, love, love it.

Definitely has that nostalgic 80s heavy white floral vibe. I feel like I've been smelling that in a lot of fragrances recently and I wonder if the ride is turning back to those types of scents. I love this and def need a full bottle so hopefully Kayali releases full sizes of all the musks eventually.

Might be my favourite from que musk collection! The opening is indeed "vintage" smelling, but after a moment with the ylang ylang and the solar notes it get softer and almost sunscreeny. I really like it, it's soft and not too powerful compared to the others fragrance from the musk collection.

I think this is my favorite from the new musk collection. It really shines now that the weather is warming up. So soft, feminine and beautiful. If you love musky florals, definitely check this one out. Doesn’t smell like anything else I have tried and I really appreciate that.

This musky floral is soft, creamy, comforting. I want to keep smelling my wrist. Well blended, a little solar. Non harsh, just enough of the ylang ylang and sweetness. Great on its own or for layering. No harshness. Love. My other favorite Kayali is Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar.

Very beautiful and pleasant. Immediately thought of, this is something that Narciso Rodriguez would come out with . It smells like his poudree cube perfume but a lot more sweeter and less powder. Powdery and lightly floral with a lipstick iris.

I love this, I immediately thought of the Narciso cube line. It has that super expensive hand cream vibe going on. Powdery but with lots of musk and some florals. Kind comforting honestly, in the same way that Musc Noir Rose is (to me anyways.)

I got the discovery set and thank god I did! This is a nice summery, floral musk. I don’t know where this brand is going. Can we just bring back Invited Only Amber, Sweet Diamond PP and the other classics and move on with our lives?

This is pretty, airy Slight sunscreen vibe to it. Slightly musky. Reminded me of a much softer, lighter version of KKW nude lips. Not a dupe just similarities . Really like this. The ombré effect bottles are beautiful.

I really like this one. I got the set and like all of them but this one might be my favorite. Light floral, musky, a little sweet. The dry down is creamy and I like creamy scents. It’s easy to wear.

This si so nice. I don't like white flowers but this is solar and elegant. Longevity is not good. I love it more than musk 12.

I got this one because I am a sucker for ylang-ylang. So I have to say, the first few hours it is indeed heavy on ylang-ylang and jasmine. Both yellow and white florals, and pleasantly indolic. It starts out like an old school perfume that we associate with older ladies, but thankfully it lacks the third part of the floral unholy trinity: gardenia. The old lady vibe does not last. Honestly not getting rose, and I like it that way. This is definitely an affair in two acts because after a few hours the florals disappear for me and it becomes a gourmand: vanilla and praline. Actually at this time it reminds me a lot of Nicolai's "Saint Honore" but not as sweet and without the milk and butter of St H. Also reminds me of Trussardi's "Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II" but without the coffee and condensed milk. Sillage was good for me. Everlasting longevity: I've had this on my wrist for 12h. First 6h it's pretty strong and mellows out after that. Probably too strong for hot weather. Less is more. Warm fragrance. Gents, do not be afraid of this one. I think both men and women can pull this off with no problems. Edit: I realised it reminds me of Guerlain's "Terracotta," especially before it turns into a gourmand. It's the ylang-ylang together with jasmine.

Freedom Musk Bouquet is gorgeous! If the other two scents from the discovery set turn out to be kinda disappointing, like Musk Matcha, I still feel happy to have purchased the sample set only to smell Musk Bouquet. The opening of this is to die for. As a ylang ylang, jasmine, vanilla, solar notes and praline lover, the juice delivers on all levels. It’s tropical, white floral, warm, creamy, sweet and girly. As it dries down the initial impression fades into something more generic: sweet, floral, warm but with less vibrancy and intensity. Which makes me sad because Musk Bouquet has awesome potential with that intoxicating opening. In a few minutes, it dropped from a big love to a strong like. To be honest, I think that this collection, Freedom Musk, turns out not to be my favourite and even if I could, I wouldn’t purchase big bottles because there’s no uniqueness or anything special about these four fragrances to justify the price point. And neither is the performance, but most of Kayali’s scents don’t perform well. At this point, we all know that...

I only have the sample vial of this from the discovery set. It wasn't love at first sniff. At first, it reminded me of the fragrant flowers I'd smell during funerals, which was not a good association, so I kept it instead. Recently, I've been looking for lactonic/clean/floral scents that smell like lotion. I reached for this knowing its notes, and I was pleasantly surprised. Maceration helped her loads! Now it still has a very strong floral scent, but the creamy, and musky dry down softens it and makes me smell like I'm wearing a luxurious floral lotion all day. I smell and feel clean, moisturized and put-together with this scent. Staying power is phenomenal but not too imposing. People smell it when they walk by me/or I them. Overall, I like it. Not enough for me to purchase a full bottle, but it's one of the more pleasant scents I've discovered from the Kayali Freedom Musk selection. For reference: I am a millennial mom of two small kids in my mid-30s and I gravitate towards clean, skin-like musks, with woody-florals as my signature scents.

This was described as a nod to Chanel No. 5 minus the soapy notes (aldehydes) and I would agree. On me, it's actually leaning more toward Jil Sander Sun minus the amber/benzoin/patchouli base. Either way, the ylang-ylang & pink pepper opening is fizzy and lovely. It dries down into more of a skin scent (musky, woodsy, vanilla) but the ylang-ylang note stays present. This is well balanced and while being a more yellow/ solar floral, it doesn't give sunscreen. Definitely wearable now in warmer months, but could see this as a winter "vacation in a bottle" type of scent. I haven't had much luck with Kayali, but for this, I might consider a bottle.

A warm, delicate feminine fragrance built around creamy ylang-ylang. It feels cozy, like a gentle spring day in a garden. The scent softly settles into a subtle base with a musky, slightly dry character. This composition is more refined and, in its own way, more mature than typical Kayali gourmands. The beige bottle beautifully reflects its nature. It envelops gently and quietly, like a light cashmere sweater.

This is a nice yellow floral scent, it's not particularly musky I would say. It's solar but not sunscreeny in a way where you could only wear it in the summer. While I think this is best for the warmer weather, it wouldn't feel too out of place for me to use it now in the winter.

Mature and vintage-y but in a way that feels current and agreeable. That ylang ylang and jasmine with the musk is just addictive, I cannot stop sniffing my wrist. Smells sweet, clean, fresh and floral all at the same time.

Very pretty and easy going floral with mud base. I’m not huge on florals but this one is well balanced and doesn’t give me a headache. This Freedom set from Kayali is a big hit!

Buy Prada Candy Kiss if you want this vibe. Better price and no solar notes which give me a headache. Basically I feel there is a bit to much happening here as well. I could definitely do without the solar notes. Solar notes and powdery musky florals just don't mesh well IMO. If you want a simple sweet musk go for Prada Candy Kiss instead. Or what I walked out with at Sephora today. L'Originale from Moroccan oil instead. That's a Lovely powdery, woody floral musk. I had a decant used it up quickly. The compliments were insane! So I bought a FB. Personally I would like Freedom from this woman' so called musks. To sweet and all over the place IMO. Musk is supposed to be about simplicity. Another good clean musk is Sarah Horowitz perfect veil.

The first spray is quite a light airy white floral musk, I was getting a very classic (maybe slightly too classic) white floral scent but then it was just overpowered by sweetness. The dry down scent was confusing to say the least, I couldn’t put my finger on it, but after reading some reviews the scent is completely reminiscent of baby powder. It certainly isn’t the worst freedom scent (musk matcha exists), however it’s just boring, unoriginal and frankly not innovative at all- also overpriced for what it is, I’m sure there are cheaper ways of smelling like baby powder.

I do get what everyone means by vintage. It is quite pretty to me but a bit of a surprising choice unless you simply adore a light powdery floral and are missing one in your collection. I personally wish this leaned more into the Turkish Rose for some added depth like I had imagined since the notes here are so muddled.

Ylang ylang, rose, and musk reading as mimosa and violet to my nose. Translation = Sweet baby powder. If that’s your jam, this is a lovely rendition of that profile. Unfortunately for me it a distinctly grandmotherly/baby changing station smell.

This is a very sweet and feminine floral. A little too sweet for me. It's like sitting in the middle of a field of flowers in sunny weather. It's slightly powdery, but not in a cloying headache-y way.

It doesn't smell bad but distinctly "mature" to my nose... & I'm 45. So maybe less mature and more elderly.

Best from the Freedom series. Creamy, soft yellow flowers. But not enough love to buy a bottle.

This scent smelled a pretty floral musk from the paper and first couple of minutes on the skin. Then I guess the Arabic base and vetiver kick in and the charm is gone. Dry down is a disappointing blend of a French chick and Arabic depth.

Very vintage floral smelling, which of course doesn't have to be a bad thing for everybody. Though I have smelt and tried fragrances like this several times and it's nothing unique.

1. I don’t like overly floral perfumes 2. I don’t like ylang ylang. I find the comes off as sunscreen to my nose. HOWEVER, I really like this scent! The dry down I get more of the musk, jasmine, and praline. Very well done. Ylang fades very quickly. It’s last about 2-3 hrs before you will need to reapply. Updated: 5 days later It just keeps getting better and better. And I am not a floral girl. Mental short cut: slight similarities to wedding silk santal minus the champagne and nectarine. More similar to Dejavu to my nose but a musk version. Very very very nice scent. Kayali has done it again!!! Update 2 months Later: I think this is the only fragrance with ylang ylang that I love! The entire collection has gotten better in recent-sniff. This one the florals have melted together like a fine wine!

1st impression: I can smell the DNA of the original kayali musk in this one when I first spray it (my personal fav kayali). I know mona has said musk is technically in all kayali as a "base," but I have not been able to actually smell it in other bottles until this one. I can see why people say it smells "vintage," to me it's a slight powdery floral note that gives it this vibe. However, it is not overpoweringly vintage smelling, and I'd say its kind of like a modern twist on a vintage floral, it's not too strong, but still there. As it sits on the skin, the musk fades and the floral notes remain/become more noticeable. I'd say it becomes more of a floral scent 90%, musk 10% on my skin. Bottom line: If you like a delicate musk with a classic florals with a hint of powder, you'll enjoy this.

BEAUTIFUL. I’m not usually a floral girl at all (unless it’s a fruity rose) but this is stunning. This is the scent of the BEST hugs from my mother when I was little. This is exactly her in a bottle, omg! Charming, radiant, immaculately styled, ultra feminine. It’s nostalgic in the most amazing way but still feels modern and elegant. To me this smells like quiet confidence and high standards. The ylang ylang and solar notes make this very clean, but still warm and inviting. I feel like ylang ylang is so underused in perfumery these days! I desperately want this in a 50ml or 100ml! I feel like 10ml isn’t enough to gift, or enough to feel like value for money - this isn’t one I would use sparingly.

WTF is wrong with people! 🤣. It’s a floral musk, and it drydowns very nicely, it may be a bit light on some but on ME a mature older woman, I love it! As all Kayalis they don’t last long on me! Yes bad because I do like this one a lot. For reference I love Musk 12! this is not a changing table at all, I had kids not even close and if you use smelling wipes what heck are you doing ???? 🤣 It’s a soft musk with floral dry down is it a a Wow factor No, is it original no! Why do people spread so much hate, it’s a true joke!!! Please someone created perfume, maybe it’s not your style but be somewhat respectful!

Blast from the past - this transported me straight to the 90s. There were so many fragrances with this profile back then. I associate it with a grown woman (even older women, but only because many of them used such fragrances in the 90s) "mom" scent. I don't know when I will be ready for such scents, maybe never because it's just not me. But it's very nice for flower/musk lovers. Definitely to layer with other fragrances, if you want to make it more interesting (it's basically what Kayali is all about). Nothing groundbreaking. Just nice , light flower scent. Vanilla is more present as it dries down..

Lovely understated powdery floral. While I do get where some are getting mature florals on the initial strip that really doesn't last long before the praline and vanilla softens the floral top notes so that they retain an airy powdery quality that is more modern to my nose. This is an all occasion easy reach slightly sweet powdery perfume that isn't necessarily remarkable but a fairly safe blind buy unless you dislike all florals entirely. In the end they really take a backseat to the sweet powdered musky base signature of this collection.

It opens with this really ”vintage” white floral vibe, pretty strong, like a realistic bouquet. After about 10 minutes on my skin, I felt it was reminiscent of Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc, probably because of the ylang-ylang and ”solar jasmine”. It slowly becomes softer though, not like Pure Musc that still remains pretty crisp, but they share some similarities in their DNA. I would say that if you are into creamy, white florals and musk, you will probably like this one a lot.

a little disappointed. yes this smells amazing but i do think the vanilla is a little too strong considering its a line presenting a diversity of musk perfumes. i feel like kayali consistently goes down the sweet/gourmand route and as a floral lover, it would've been nice to see them really experiment with a musky floral that isn't drowned in sweet vanilla as i feel like a lot of the other fragrances in this drop had. nevertheless, it smells amazing!
