Sweet, woody, warm, fruity, juicy, aromatic, balsamic, feminine, sensual, luscious, delectable, deep, rich, sophisticated, tempting, alluring, mysterious, cozy, comforting On me this opens with a very sweet, juicy, and slightly tart cherry, fresh raspberry, bright bergamot, and warm and woody Palo santo, vanilla like tonka bean, and guaiac wood which linger throughout along with the cherry. As it dries down it becomes less bright and more warm, woody, and sensual as the warm Palo Santo, vanilla like tonka bean, rich guaiac wood, and a soft touch of patchouli and aromatic Peru balsam develop more. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the Cherry, Palo santo, tonka bean, and guaiac wood. I’m not usually into cherry fragrances, and I’m always super nervous about blind buying them for fear of a medicinal scent. When I finally decided to go ahead and order the 2 I have in my collection (the other being Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Sin, a Cherry, almond, vanilla scent) I chose this one because I typically really enjoy Kayali fragrances. I figured if there was a Cherry I would enjoy that it would probably be from Kayali. I currently own 17 of their fragrances, so they typically fit my taste. I only ordered a mini bottle which I’ve been happy enough with. I don’t reach for it super often, but I do think it smells very pretty. Fortunately, there’s nothing at all medicinal here. I get this almost cinnamon scented warm and woody Cherry scent. It actually even reminds me of Kilian’s Angels Share, but with cherry instead of apple because of that warm cinnamon scent. There’s even something that comes across as slightly boozy. I’m also reminded some of The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition as they are both warm and woody cherry scents. It’s a more sophisticated fruity cherry scent, so it feels like it would suit women of any age. Because of its warmth and depth this is definitely most fitting during the fall and winter. This feels like it would work for most occasions, except for maybe the fancier ones. I get excellent performance with Lovefest Burning Cherry. The longevity is great, it lasts throughout the whole day on me. The projection is nice too, it radiates out at least 2-3 feet from me. I really don’t get much of the florals in the heart, just soft whispers of them. The dry down is done so smooth and beautiful. It remains sweet, and grows more warm and woody as the Palo santo, guaiac wood, and Peru balsam grow more prominent along with the vanillic tonka bean and warm golden amber. I wouldn’t exactly call this smoky, but it’s definitely woody and balsamic in a really lovely way. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the cherry, Palo santo, tonka bean, and Peru balsam. I’m not sure if anyone else gets this, but it comes off as almost slightly cinnamon-y with the wood. I know that sounds a little odd, but I actually think it’s really pretty. I’m a huge Kayali fan, and currently own 18 different fragrances from them. My top 5 are Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Vanilla 28, Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, The Wedding Silk Santal, Yum Pistachio Gelato. I also really enjoy Maui, Maldives, and Capri in a Bottle, particularly during the summer. I get great performance with Lovefest Burning Cherry. The longevity, is very good, it lasts 7+ hours on my skin. The projection is nice,it’s on the moderate side as it radiates out at least 2-3 feet from me. Sweet, fruity, juicy, slightly tart, woody, sensual, warm, and slightly smoky I really pick up on the Cherry, raspberry, Palo santo, amber, tonka bean, and guaiac wood. The Cherry and woody notes are really the stars here. The Cherry is sweet, juicy, and slightly tart... like biting into a cherry that’s so perfectly fresh that the juice runs down your chin. It’s blended beautifully with warm and woody notes like amber, tonka bean, Palo santo, and guaiac wood. They add a slight smoky smell, but it’s more warm and woody as opposed to smoky or spicy. I get excellent performance with Lovefest Burning Cherry. The longevity is really great, it lasts the entire day on me. The projection is nice too, it radiates out a few feet from me. I don’t have to spray a bunch to get these results, so I do consider this to be a good value. I’d been wanting to get a cherry fragrance, but wasn’t sure which one to go with because I was really nervous about getting one that had a medical smell to it. I went with Burning Cherry because I thought the notes and description looked nice, I’d heard a lot of good things about it, and because enjoy a lot of fragrances from this brand. I’m glad this ended up being my choice, it’s beautiful and not at all medicinal smelling. Another successful blind buy! For reference, this is my 14th Kayali fragrance along with Eden Juicy Apple that I got in the same order. I always am impressed with their scents and the excellent performance I get from their fragrances. I gotta say, Kayali knocked this scent out of the park. Naturally, women are drawn to this scent and commenting on this fragrance, but I am a guy that wears this particular cherry scent. On my skin, the scent is more woody with a nuanced cherry note lingering in the background, but I smell more like cherry wood than actual cherries, if that makes sense. The palo santo really stands its ground on my skin with the incense woody note coming through, which is AWESOME because I like palo santo scents. I would say that this is a night time, date night fall fragrance that is for women, but men can wear it as well, and it won't smell fruity and overly sweet. Yuck. I not a fan of the sweet fruity fragrances. Not for a dude like me, lol, but this scent smells great, and it lasts about 6 hours on my skin. I see comments of people saying that it lasts a short while, but 6 hours is relatively good, especially for the price tag. Burning Cherry (or Incensed Cherry Wood as I like to say, lol) gets two thumbs from me. Good job, Kayali. Like I say in all my reviews, this is all just my opinion. Take opinions and reviews with a grain of salt. Everyone has an opinion regarding smells. Some people love a specific fragrance. Some people hate it. Some people lie regarding reviews and opinions. Some state the truth. My advice is for you to GET A SAMPLE OF ANY FRAGRANCE BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO BUYING IT. That way, you can assess it for yourself and have your own thoughts rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. Peace and blessings, everyone!

This is the only perfume from Kayali that I own and personally, at least at the moment I think it's the only one worth buying. This fragarance is fantastic and everything I was looking for in a cherry perfume. It opens with a lovely balance of burning, but slightly sour, fresh cherry and palo santo. As it dries down, it's closely followed by patchouli and praline, with the guaiac wood dominating towards the end. I love how it's still very clearly a sweeter cherry fragrance, but the smoky, woody notes make it stand out, compared to other cherry fragrances I've smelled. It doesn't fall into photorealistic sour cherries or cherry pie gourmands. Then again, I'm no connoisseour, so it's likely there are other fragrances out there that compare to it. It lasts very nicely on me and even a few hours after spraying it gets me plenty of compliments. It's one of my beloved fragrances to wear to social gatherings, especially when I'm meeting new people, outings with friends or dates. It's inviting, warm, slightly alluring, but not in a heavy or overwhelming way. I've heard of it being described as flirtatious, and I wholeheartedly agree. It's a fun, flirty, warm scent. A little... witchy in a way? A lot of people here compare it to Tom Ford's "Lost Cherry". I have smelled that one a couple of times, sprayed a few spritzes in a perfume store and I can confidently say, Lovefest Burning Cherry EATS IT ALIVE. It's longer lasting, more complex and has more dimensions. Give it a try!

Love this! I finally bought it. I tried this a few times and was finally able to compare it side by side with Tom Ford Lost Cherry today. I can say Lost Cherry definitely opens with a more powerful, more realistic cherry note and stays pretty heavy smelling and warm (even though the performance isn't great). The mid and drydown of these 2 are almost indistinguishable though aside from Lost Cherry smelling denser. As others have mentioned the performance is abysmal, little to no sillage or projection, but that's okay for me since I'm an oversprayer anyway 😂. I just wish this was cheaper, to account for the poor performance. But overall, Kayali Burning Cherry Lovefest is really good. If you want a sweet, fresh, fruity, realistic cherry smelling fragrance with a little bit of a nuanced woody+fruity sweet drydown this is worth a try. Other than of course Tom Ford Lost Cherry I don't think there's anything else that really smells similar to this, but this is much better in terms of price alone as the Tom Ford doesn't actually perform better. Scent: 9.5/10 Uniqueness: 9/10 Mass Appeal: 10/10 Longevity: 4/10 Projection/Sillage: 3/10 Versatility: 9/10 - The only time I wouldn't wear this is if I was going to a corporate business meeting with a bunch of older people lol.

I’m not sure how so many people have experienced a lack of the cherry note here, I’m actually shocked. This isn’t a candy-like cherry that I’ve experienced in most cherry fragrances, and I wonder if that explains it. This is a very woody, smoky, photorealistic, exotic cherry fragrance. I can’t say the woods overpower the cherry, because the intention is to create a “burning cherry” accord, and that requires the woods to be 1:1 with the cherry note. It’s a dry, cherry-stained wood effect that feels niche adjacent to me. This fragrance delivers exactly what it’s supposed to, and it’s *very* dark-feminine and alluring in my opinion. This is far outside of my fragrance comfort zone, but I really enjoy it. I never understood the hype behind TF lost cherry, and I didn’t finish my travel size of cherry ambition- but I reach for this often. It doesn’t give cute or pretty, it’s more of a challenge than that. I feel like the woman who says it all without having to utter a word. This is Angelina Jolie in her 30’s. I applied to pulse points on clean, moisturized skin and the scent lasted and radiated for 5-6 hours. Probably not safe for work if you work in small spaces, or up close and personal. TRY ON SKIN DON’T BLIND BUY, DO NOT TRUST PAPER TESTER.

Starts with juicy, powdery cherry and hints of mildly smoky, musky woods and softly pungent balsam. The cherry dies out quickly, leaving a sweet fruity shadow, but the remaining soft, sweet balsamic woodiness is very enjoyable. There's a soft floral center of mostly heliotrope and dark rose. Leans ever so slightly feminine but anyone could wear it. The sillage is intimate to moderate. It feels a bit comfy, like I'm wearing it all for my own comfortable pleasure on a cold, rainy day. I have a Lost Cherry dupe (Forbidden Love - it's great), and a darker, boozy cherry (Bodacious), so I honestly thought this would be redundant, but it's not! I, like a previous reviewer, especially like how it's not boozy; how it supports itself instead with sturdy but expressive woods and balsams. It's got the dark, smoky wood/resin of Bodacious without the booziness and in smaller amounts. It's got the sweet approachability of Lost Cherry but fades to base notes more quickly. It's a tad more sweet than both but thankfully not a treacly gourmand. The drydown is delicious and lasts for hours as an ambery-musky skin scent. Overall, a nice, original twist on a soft, woody cherry theme.

After months of being told about how awful it was, I finally tried (and bought) this perfume, and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was quite the opposite. It is raspberry and cherry focused perfume, with the smokey, woody notes being far more subtle than expected, especially at first. I don't smell any sickly or medicinal scents within it, so I'm unsure how others have managed to smell them. I must say, though, it's much stronger than I expected, so I don't recommend spraying it more than twice, thrice at a stretch. I was also surprised by the decent longevity, especially since I was told that it'd be terrible. That's not to say that longevity is the best, but it is far better than people claim it is, as I was able to get 4.5 hours out of the perfume alone, and 6 when I layered it. It's definitely a perfume for cold or milder nights, especially since it's far too heavy for daytime or warm weather. I personally love it, but I'd only recommend buying it if you're one for strong, sweet, slightly smokey, raspberry/cherry-based scents.

I'm completly obsessed with this fragrance! It's absolutely divine, with a very noticeable dark cherry opening that pairs so well with the almond notes - I love wearing this fragrance because it makes me smell like those fruit-shaped marzipan sweets, which were a staple in my childhood, and simultaneously like a cherry liquor filled chocolate. It's not too feminine, but it's very sensual and unique. It's a perfectly composed perfume, and the scent layers are masterfully blended. I love that it dries down to a palo santo boozy scent, while still keeping the sultry dark cherry vibe. The only problem is that the longevity isn't the best, and I expected a perfume on this price range to last a while longer. I always end up overspraying and using more product, so i finish my bottles pretty quick. I also keep a travel size perfume in my bag to reapply during the day (about 2 times). But despite this issue, Kayali slayed with this one.

I recently got my bottle of Lovefest Burning Cherry and I love it. I also have Vanilla 28 and like it a lot, but so far I am liking Burning Cherry more. The first 30 seconds to a minute, I would say Burning Cherry is 99% Tom Ford Lost Cherry (I have gone through 2 bottles of Lost Cherry; it's a top 5 fav for me). After the initial spray, Burning Cherry starts to throw a lot of Le Labo Santal 33 (which I like, but it gives me a headache always). The Sandalwood/Santal softens and the cherry is still there, albeit much lighter. The dry down ends up being a lovely woody, cherry and Sandalwood scent that I really am enjoying. Longevity and sillage are not great, but I get about 3-4 hours before it is a very faint skin scent. TF Lost Cherry lasts at least double on me. Burning Cherry is very unisex, possible leaning slightly more "feminine", but I usually refuse to assign gender to a glass bottle ;) If you like it, wear it!

As a cherry connoisseur (I mean it's literally my nickname after all), this is my FAVORITE cherry of all time. This is EXACTLY how cherry should be done. This is syrupy dark cherry that's sweet and juicy, but also dark and mysterious thanks to the boozy and smokey notes. This perfume screams Lana Del Rey vibes. It's so vampy and sexy. The cherry is not synthetic or sickeningly sweet at all, and all of the woody notes in the base perfectly balance it out. The longevity and projection are pretty freakin good for a Kayali perfume. You'll get a solid 3 hour wear. It'll still be there even after, but it won't project like it does in the beginning. In my opinion, you could wear this any time of year, and I think it's a really good summer cherry. This feels like it was made for summer music festivals. I will ALWAYS have a bottle of this on hand (This is my second bottle going on third!) Rating: 10/10 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒

Love this perfume! It is the most perfect feminine woody fragrance I've smelled. Warm from the guaiac wood and palo santo, sweet from the praline, and tart from the cherry and rapsberry. I personally cannot detect any other notes, maybe some light florals in the background. It is absolutely divine. I'd say it could be worn all year round, probably most appropriate for cooler weather, but also absolutely shines in the heat and isn't too nauseating. Also, if anyone is looking for a perfect lotion to pair this scent with and prolong its longevity - try the Hempz Koa & Sweet Almond Herbal Body Moisturizer. I know the notes don't quite add up, but honestly - if I put the lotion on one arm and the fragrance on the other, I can barely tell which one is witch. Might be just my body chemistry, but I'd still recommend trying it for yourself.

Having been curious about this scent being referred to as a good Tom Ford Lost Cherry alternative, I picked up a travel size. I own Lost Cherry and this is similar but more complex in my opinion. Initial spray was an overwhelming (in a good way) sour cherry scent with a hint of campfire. It’s mildly floral and smells very edible. My partner said I smelled like Cherry Pepsi. I don’t detect any patchouli what-so-ever, which is fine because I detest it. This is a beautiful, strong fragrance and as someone who wants to smell like cherry cola, I’m obsessed. This could work in any season and at any time of day, but in my opinion this is a sunny summer day fragrance that’s boozy enough to transition into nighttime.

This perfume comes across as nothing but smoke & sandalwood on me. The cherry and other berries fade in minutes of spraying. However, my boyfriend's chemistry works way better with this perfume. Hours into wearing, he still smells like a delicious cherry Coke. It works perfect as a winter scent and I can't get enough when I smell it on him. The spices remind me of a pecan pie. Gorgeous (if your chemistry mixes well.) My only issue is that it fades fast. Have to practically shove my nose in the areas it was applied after about 3-4 hours to catch a whiff. Giving Burning Cherry a love rating due to how crazy addicting it smells on my partner. I think this one is very picky on who it chooses

This is my favorite out of the Kayali fragrances I have tried. The cherry is the juiciest most succulent I have smelled so far; very Tom Fords Lost Cherry. It lasts a long time on me, longer than Eden Apple and the Sparkling Litchi from the Kayali House. (I tried them all on skin at the same time.) This smells like biting into the biggest, juiciest, overripe cherry that you can imagine- and then settles down into a floral perfume on my skin. Super feminine and nicely soft. This is sexy, feminine, juicy, and edible. Edit: I did end up buying Phlur’s Cherry Stem over this, due to lasting power. Burning Cherry lasted about two to three hours on me, which isn’t good enough.

Boozy cherry, closely followed by palo santo incence, held within a deep dark red multifacetted bottle, overall quite intoxicating. Wish I'd bought the travel size, as I don't think I'll ever finish this bottle. It's mysterious, a middle eastern type scent. Unfortunately, I can't wear it out, rarely wear it and only ever worn it at home in the evening with a glass or two of wine. This is a stronger version of Jo Malone's Scarlet Poppy intense, which is very similar but Scarlet Popply is more subtle and tolerable than this. I may see if I can use it as a bathroom spray, if not I may sell it.

I recently became intrigued with cherry-centric fragrances after avoiding the cherry scent profile forever. I've owned/wore/loved a few Kayali Perfumes. I decided to try Lovefest Burning Cherry. OMG...Lovefest Burning Cherry is an immediate love. The perfume has shot to the top of my most favorite fragrances. Boozy cherry, gentle florals and a palo santo base. And after applying this perfume and readying myself for bed, four hours later I clearly detected these wonderful wafts of smoky cherry fragrance emanating from my body. This perfume is beautiful! What is there not to love?

WOW, I can't say enough great things about this fragrance! This is deep, dark, sexy, witchy, sweet and woody. I absolutely adore it! I never saw myself as a cherry fragrance guy, but this changed my mind. I get the dark cherry, palo santo, and patchouli coming through the most. It feels expensive and sultry on my skin which makes it a great reach for evening in the cooler months on the year. I get great longevity with this one around 7 hours on skin and much longer on clothes with a moderate projection. This will ALWAYS be in my collection, I absolutely cannot live without it!

Feminine, love the cherry/patchouli combo. It smells so sexy yet elegant on me, I can see this being a year round perfume but its probably best suited for spring or fall. It has a wonderful woody die down with the tonka bean, patchouli, and vetiver blending beautifully. I didn't pick up on any of the raspberry notes but I tend smell the jasmine a bit which I thought was quite nice. This could easily become my signature scent, I would wear this all day. I wish the longevity and the projection was better though. 10/10 smell

I had to come back and say this has become my *Signature* scent, and I’ve never had that before. I use dove cherry & chia body soap, Cyklar sacred Santal shower gel and the matching body lotion. This shower combo plus Lovefest burning cherry is *chef’s kiss* If I want to make it more “date night” I layer with Oudgasm Chocolate Oud. Otherwise, this is a perfect everyday reach for me. I get 5-6 hours of noticeable wear and I’m always complimented when wearing it. It’s tart, juicy, smoky, and so romantic.

I have a bottle of TF Lost Cherry. I got a 10mL of this because I can't justify buying another TF bottle when it empties. It's not identical, but it's close enough that buying a full size of Lovefest when Lost Cherry runs out is a no-brainer. Safe blind buy if you like Lost Cherry. If anything his is a bit more multi-dimensional and has a hit of smokiness. It's what I figured Cherry Smoke would have smelled like. (I hate Cherry Smoke.)

One of the best perfumes to take on the cherry trend. I understand this disappointment surrounding the lack of cherry realism in the notes, but in my opinion it balances the juiciness of the cherry just enough to work with a deeper, warmer woody praline. The raspberry and cherry are juicy, with the base notes blending into an almost burnt caramel composition. Amazing longevity and projection, all for a decent enough price point.

maybe the only cherry scent i've ever tried without that overwhelmingly fake plasticy smell. it starts strong with the burning cherry and woodiness and fades gradually throughout the day into raspberry, tart and sweet. i wore this for six hours at work and it was still lingering on my skin when i got home. it pairs really well with vanilla scents- i wore it with the nest madagascar vanilla perfume oil and it was divine!

the opening of this is an intoxicating dark cherry cola. the florals add a soft flirty-ness. the musky elements add a sexiness and sophistication that i love. burning cherry smells like a love potion made by an evil sorceress. although it does dry down quickly. leaving a barely-there woody smell. i wish it lasted longer for how beautiful it starts, but unfortunately doesn't have much lasting power.

Wow! I was hoping to find something like Tom Ford’s Cherry Smoke that actually lasts more than an hour, and this is it! I could still smell it on my skin over 12 hrs later, and that includes the delicious sour cherry note, which is so disappointingly fleeting in TF’s cherry fragrances. It’s backed up by a spicy palo santo. Still smells strong on my clothes 48 hours later. What a triumph!

So I’m a huge Kayali fan, I have the whole collection and so you better believe I ran to buy this and WOW I love it! The Cherry is really well done and the palo santo note I’m getting is just incredible. I’ve layered it with Vanilla 28 and also with Sweet Diamond pink pepper and I’d recommend trying both. This is going to be a fall/winter staple for me. Mona has done it again! Obsessed!

If you’re looking for TF Lost Cherry, you won’t find it here. Lost Cherry is sweet, almost gummy. Maraschino vibes, with beast mode staying power. Burning Cherry is almost medicinal, woodsy and feels....dark. Unfortunately it lasts maybe 2 hours at most on my skin, which is such a shame as it’s beautiful. Think of BC as Wednesday Addams, and LC as her effervescent roommate.

A wordy tart cherry with a light zing, balanced by smoky woody notes and a light spice. Lightly sweet but just enough to be female leaning. I'm really enjoying it , especially to layer with my tabacco scents. Is it a ground breaking cherry fragrance? No. But it's unique enough to hold its own considering there's a lot of good cherry fragrances in the market.

My first ever Kayali fragrance! I usually am not a big fan on woody scents, but this really did captivate me; it's sultry & deep. I don't know if I'm just nose blind, but I do wish Kayali had higher longevity, especially for their prices & how good their scents are. I do cherish this scent a lot & will probably repurchase in the future if I run out.

I wore this around my brother once and he said I smelled like a hoe. We both worked in a kitchen and it was apparently strong enough to overpower years of caked on grease from my uniform. Either that or he was desperate to insult me. Both may be true. Anyways, despite awful longevity this is one of my favourite perfumes of all time

It smells sooo good! I'm a cherry lover for sure. It's woody, has a bit of raspberry which makes the cherry a bit lighter and less "syrupy" for many, I also get the heliotrope and a bit of creamyness. The longevity is up to 4 hours, and although I never tried TF, I think kayali is worth the shot.

This is the best smelling cherry perfume I’ve ever smelled! The cherry note is dark boozy and warm. This smells like a deep red cherry wine with a sweet woody undertone! This will be in heavy routine during the fall and winter months! I envision this is the scent of Mortica Adams!

I will preface this by saying I normally don't like Palo Santo or patchouli notes in perfumes at all but this one I definitely get more of the creamy Tonka bean in the base and all the notes work so well it's becoming one of my cold weather favorites

Kayali has been hit and miss for me, but this one’s a hit! Boozy, smoky, sexy cherry. Can confirm this is also close to Tom Ford Lost Cherry (I used to have that one in a travel spray). Lovefest though has the additional smoky note which I love.

Ohhhhhhhhh my gosh.. I have a brand new full bottle and I already know I’m going to be purchasing backups! This is so good!! It’s definitely a deeper more expensive cherry.. it’s sexy and sophisticated. I love everything about this!

Obsessed is an understatement! This perfume smells like a luxurious cherry dessert with a smoky twist. It's sweet but not overpowering, and the woody notes make it super sophisticated. I get compliments everywhere I wear it.

A bit similar to TF's Lost Cherry, but less cherry, more woody, incency and not as "heavy". Warm and cozy scent to wear in colder months. Huge shame that the scent is quite weak, so I won't be buying it.

starts off very citrusy but then you really smell the sweeter notes in the perfume. it really does settle into a woodsy sweet cherry scent. if katniss’ dress was a scent it would be this one!

Well, I wouldn't say it has same DNA as Lost Cherry, yes, it's near, but not close. Although it's nice and deep cherry scent with fruity notes, it makes it easier to wear it in daytime.

I love this for the smoky incense fire work smell. Its mid summer and seems to add heat to allready sweltering heat....but for fall ill get bottle of this its too interesting.

This is Lost Cherry without almond and cough syrup syrupy-sugar. More mature, unique, woody. Woody but almost-musky soft. As a lost cherry lover, I loved this more.

Gourmand cherry at its best! Imagine cherry liquor or perhaps a cherry sirup covering an amaretto dessert. This is amazing and when a woman wear this, I’m sold.

Gorgeous, woody, smoky and fruity scent. I wasn’t expecting to like this one but it’s lovely, not too sweet, with a woody, soapy dry down. Longevity is OK.

Really nice, sultry cherry scent. Pretty identical to other well known cherry fragrances. If you have one of those then you pretty much have this one.

I love this perfume. This cherry is not sickly sweet, it's boozy and with a hint of wood, which is exactly what I love!

The cherry lasts for 5 minutes, and the burning lasts for a few hours. I like burning. I wish the cherry lasted longer.
