Oudgasm Chocolate Oud | 11

I love Kayali scents, but not one of them have ever lasted longer than 15 min on my skin or clothes until now. I should state that Angels’ Share is my favorite perfume and it lasts for days on my clothes and for 8+ hours on my skin. This is the absolute first of Kayali’s entire portfolio of scents that has sillage and longevity for me. I smell the beautiful opening of boozy chocolate and vanilla. It’s lactonic side softens the bite and is more subtle than AS. AS is a powerhouse beast scent on me and has men and women following me wondering what I am wearing. This scent profile is NOT for everyone and can sour or turn sickening mixed with a certain body chemistry. I cannot absolutely wear anything with citrus. It will smell funky on me almost immediately. But, I can wear orange blossom which is light and airy with my body chemistry. There is a reason why this fragrance is completely sold out in the 50 ml bottle. It is like AS younger sister. She is coy, sensual and wearable for the masses. The layering possibilities are endless. This is a must in a gourmand lover’s collection.

Ended up with a full bottle after testing this out and I ended up loving this. YES , its like Angel Share but here is the difference : Less cinnamon than Angel Share, less boozy , softer but added signature Kayali praline sweetness like Invite Only, more incense and the drydown is very sexy and alluring even though its similar but they have these differences. Quite nice and a more femme Angel Share take. Worth testing . This works on my skin and I really love the drydown and its sexy. I do not get Khamrah in this , and I hated that scent. Just because Khamrah has cinnamon doesn't make them alike. Khamrah smells more synthetic , more boozey , more musky and masculine. This is good. 10/10 . Fall and winter season wear. Give this a chance ladies. Its actually worth keeping and let your bottle sit a bit which it will be better. I do smell the chocolate softly during the wear and get whiffs very softly at times but yes its very soft in the undertones. Layer this with : No Prince Required by Fine'ry. or Phlur Cherry Stem or Kayali Vanilla 28.....all fantastic with this!

A delicious warm and woody unisex fragrance. I usually don’t love oud-heavy fragrances but I actually get more incense than I do oud here. It also has a light booziness and overall it reminds me a lot of Kilian’s Angels’ Share Paradis. I get a light sweetness but it comes more from the orris root rather than caramel or chocolate. Has moderate sillage but only lasts about 4 hours on me. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Kilian Angels’ Share (and dupes): similar but sweeter and has a distinct apple pie feel ❌ Al Rehab Choco Musk: a light vanilla and chocolate scent, not woody at all ❌ Kilian Angels’ Share on the Rocks: much less woody and more fresh ❌ Lattafa Khamrah: sweeter, less woody, more powdery, and quite date-heavy ❌ Zimaya Sharaf Blend: less woody and quite date-heavy

Yes for fall/winter cooler weather! I have been searching for that apple pieish colder weather scent and this is it for me! I have Khamrah Qquaha and Boucheron Ambre d Alexandrie and neither quite hit the mark for me. Chocolate Oud does though. I do get some chocolate cocoa powder in the dry down and the oud is very light. I get the rum in the opening and there is a slight sweetness that smells like vanilla/caramel. This works well with my skin and smells decadent! I see many comparisons to Angel's Share which I do not have but tested a couple years ago and thought it too booze heavy for me. This scratches that itch I had for my perfect fall/winter yummy apple pie gourmand.

This is surprisingly beautiful! It reminds me of the spicy opening of Kilian Angel's Share, with lots of cinnamon and rum~ The rest blends well enough that I can't pick out particular notes I find it to be smoother and softer than Angel's Share, and so far, I actually prefer this! Its less sharp and easier for me to wear, while maintaining basically the same scent profile (on my skin, I see other reviews that felt more nuance between the two) I'd love to get a full bottle when I can! This is a great cozy scent for colder weather and the projection is a better match for me~
