To preface, I predominantly wear traditionally male fragrances, followed by unisex, and least often feminine scents—though I still enjoy them. For me, it’s simple: if you like the scent, gender is irrelevant. I gravitate either toward fresh, soapy cleanness or full-on gourmand; there’s no middle ground. This fragrance sits firmly in gourmand territory, layered with musky, oudy depth—and it’s a masterpiece that needs to be experienced with an open mind. I own around six Kayali fragrances, and this one easily ranks at the top. The longevity of Milky Musk Oud is unmatched compared to their other releases; I can still smell it on myself after showering the next day. It does lean more traditionally masculine. It’s unusual—imagine rice pudding translated into a fragrance, with gentle spice and soft lactonic nuances. Compared to Vanilla 28, it’s significantly warmer, less “perfumey,” and arguably more gourmand. The scent is warm, spicy, distinctly Middle Eastern, and incredibly comforting. I think many of the negative reviews stem from its unconventional nature—this doesn’t smell like a typical perfume. This is firmly in my top three fragrances of all time, with comforting being the key word. It instantly transports me to the Middle East. Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 Scent: 9.8/10

Writing that you don’t like oud on the page for an oud scent, and not even having smelled it, is giving main character syndrome. Maybe this wasn’t made for you then🤷 I don’t like seafood but you don’t see me barge into a seafood restaurant just to announce that I don’t like their food and say I wish they had lasagne instead ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Edit: After trying it for several days I think it’s lovely. Not gourmand though, more of a soft sandalwood with something dark and sensual in the background. Getting a full bottle as soon as I can afford it. According to reviews above it’s a ”dupe” for commodity milk but I have to disagree, there’s a big difference between a dupe and a similarity. It’s a creamy sandalwood just like Sunny side up, piano santal, Santal Blanc and milky musk. It’s more like Santal 33 if it didn’t have leather and was softer than being alike milk tbh. Drydown has something similar to Blanche bete

this is only a first impression but okkkk what 😍😍😍 very pleasantly surprised. the name is on point, a milky musky beginner oud. will test further. edit: I don’t like the pricing of Kayali perfumes. there, I said it. Just overpriced for these often childish, commercial juices. that said, this, especially layered with Oudgasm chocolate, is heavenly. really mellow, comforting, pillowy sweet woody milky scent, right up my alley for F/W. quite long lasting as well. walking past the scent strips 12 days later I could smell it in the air. will consider getting this combo during the Christmas sales.

This is very true to the name. I get milk, I get musk, I also do get whiffs of the strawberry cream throughout the wear. This usually lasts for about 5+ hrs on my skin and clothes. Once I go through my travel size, I am definitely picking up the full bottle. I regret not getting the larger size in the first place. It's the safest oud scent I have in my collection. It's in the base, and I do smell it, but it's not the star, and I like it that way. It's complimenting and grounding the milky notes.

I really like this! Very powdery and sweet with a lovely, creamy, woody undertone. The projection and longevity are great much like the rest of the Oudgasm collection. I fortunately don't get the strawberry cream, I just get airy, fluffy, creamy vanilla and sweetness. I think this is pretty similar to Glossier You Doux, perhaps just a little darker. I would definitely get a small bottle of this!

I love this, it’s like a lighter version of ombré leather at first. Then as it’s starts drying down I get the peppery incense on my skin, with a very very soft oud. On the drydown is where the very slight lactonic, and slightly sweet strawberry musk shines. It sorta reminds me of invite amber only a tad

Gorgeous! This whole Oudgasm collection has been very impressive to me. So so musky, but undeniably spicy. It's warm, cozy, sensual, alluring. Just a touch sweet. Perfect for colder months.

I want to try this desperately. Looks fab.

Kayali Oudgasm Milky Musk Oud 30 opens briefly as the musky, woody sweetness of Jo Malone Vetiver & Golden Vanilla mixed with the notorious milky sandalwood profile found in many fragrances such as Parle Moi de Parfum Milky Musk 39, JHAG Sunny Side Up, Kilian Sacred Wood, and Billie Eilish No 2. The milky sandalwood profile sustains for the entire life of the wear and instead of drying up, becomes noticeably creamier and sweeter with some powdery facets. As it quickly dries down it becomes clearly similar to Liquides Imaginaires Blanche Bete the most, Commodity Milk, VC&A Santal Wood with its sweet creamy fig milk more than sandalwood, and maybe even Glossier Doux although that's more aromatic sandalwood. Not sure why strawberry and coffee were listed at all lmao, maybe just sweet contributors to the woodiness, but this worked out for me because I just really like this profile. In fact, I don't get leather, suede, or overly smoky oud...just a little. It's very much woody, but the sweet milky and musky kind of woody with little touches of tonka bean and a little amber. Not overwhelming at all. In fact when I smell closely to my skin, it seems maybe the fragrance would be more of a projecting one, but it carries softly in sillage. Still low-moderate projection and lasts 7-8 hours on me.

It reminds me of Armani Si Passione Red Musk initially. It has the same milky-musky quality just with a faint hint of strawberries. Oud note is light here, overwhelmed by suede and saffron I would not guess it is present at all but it adds certain softness. I feel also milky sandalwood, tonka bean and a dash of pink pepper. Comparing to Armani this is much more masculine in effect initially and without strong fruity tones. But it is wearable for a female and won't be a clash if she sprays it on her beau. It sweetens a lot on my skin. A very good scent. Well in the trend of milky scents like Blanche Bete and Her Confession that are more floral. I feel a note reminiscent of almond milk. With time the coffee notes gets stronger and it smells like coffee tastes. It wears like Blanche Bete. 90% similar.

I’m so surprised to see how low the rating is. I don’t get the synthetic notes that other comments mention. Also, if you want a beast mode lactonic perfume, I think this might be what you’re looking for. It lasted on my skin for like 24 hours and radiated A LOT! This is the very first Kayali scent I genuinely like, actually :) I recommend people try it and not be biased by the rating.

I just received the travel size and I was prepared to not like it. But I like it a lot! I have little experience with oud but I mostly get sandalwood. Sandalwood and I don’t always get along, but this is an easy-going sandalwood. I haven’t worn this for a full day yet, but it seems to get creamier and more feminine in the dry down. Who knows, I may end up with a full bottle.

i'm really surprised by the negative reviews here, to me this is a safe scent, although a bit unusual. i get a sweet cream with clean musk and a hint of church. lasts very long on my skin. it leans a bit unisex/masculine but still has a lot of sweetness and warmth to it. i don't get any strawberry whatsoever.

Creamy, musky, delicious. I don't have much else to say. The creamy note comes and goes and the musk dominates. Very interesting scent unlike anything else I have in my collection. I'm a fan!

Pink pepper lightly throughout the opener and mid-range, settling into a warm incense sandalwood. I like it. The longer it sits, the more delightful campfire feel it gets.

It is certainly interesting but strange to my senses. I definitely get the sandalwood and strawberry cream, but it is competing with strong pink pepper and a milky oud. All of these notes sound delicious, but I think there is something about that fruity milky oud that turns my stomach and gives me a headache. I think on the right person this might be glorious, but sadly that person is not me. Longevity is pretty good. I got a full 10 hours. Someone on here commented that it has a slightly metallic wet concrete smell, and I agree. Reminds me a lot of The Maker “Architect” candle. It also reminds me of a completely unsweetened Blanche Bête on the dry down.

I stalked Sephora for weeks waiting for this to be in stock. I was so excited for Milky Musk and the notes listed, especially the strawberry cream. I received today and unfortunately I’m feeling a bit let down. If I knew Kayali was doing dupes now, I wouldnt have stayed up until 3am for the drop. This is a lighter Milk Commodity. Don’t get me wrong, it smells amazing, but it’s not a unique fragrance and there’s nothing innovative here. Musk, tonka, milk, marshmallow. No strawberry to be found. So disappointing. Save your money because if you have one, you dont need the other.

I really wanted to love this like i do the Chocolate and Vanilla Oud fragrances, but I don't. I don't hate it, but this one is just OK. I don't get the strawberry or sweetness others are getting. It is definitely musky and I get the Oud much more in this one. It does dry down quite creamy and I do like that about it. It also does last a long time - I get great longevity out of all of the oudgasm ones I have sampled. I might get a travel size bottle of this one but I'm still undecided.

In the opening it's very peppery, and has a suede-leather type smell along with a plasticky, rubber tyre smell. After 1-2 hours it turns into a sweet, creamy scent, that i quite like, but I am not sure if it is worth it for me to wait for it, especially because by that time it already turns into a skin scent. I have seen people say this is basically just a Blanche Bete dupe, but I don't see any similarity. I also don't see any similarity to Commodity Milk. Milk is way sweeter.

Not sure where the Blanche Bette comparison is coming from. This one is just ok for me. I really like the opening but what i assume is the suede note comes across extremely strong to me and not in a good way as the fragrance develops. This one has the potential to be headache enducing. Going to let it sit and try again but as of now my small bottle will suffice. **The lactonic note from BB but not much more.

This leans masculine/unisex with an oily, waxy quality that reminds me of Blue Magic hair grease. The opening notes of strawberry and coffee are interesting but don’t last. The leather and musk dominate, creating a heavy, greasy scent that didn’t work with my usual feminine pairings. Sillage is weak and longevity is just okay. Well-made for what it is, but not my vibe. 5/10

4month update What ever the offensive note/notes that were there I can not detect anymore. It could be it has mellowed with age and the weather is colder now. Also, I sprayed very lightly. It is much more enjoyable now and quite lovely. If the floral tuberose in Blanche Bette get to you this might be the way to go to get the lactonic effect of BB.

Unfortunately I smell pepper and sandalwood and nothing else. Will update my review after I let it sit a few months. People are getting Commodity Milk from this? Where is the sweetness? I might have liked it a little more if there was any.

Lost in a dream and Commodity Milk dupe! No strawberry, no milkiness! Only pepper and woodyness, a little masculine leaning as the sandalwood is the most prominent note throughout the perfume performance.

Just a milky musky thing... no oud whatsoever. Or maybe it’s the faintest safest synthetic oud so it doesn’t register to me. It leans more powdery sweet. Feels like a dupe of something. Not my thing.

This got waaaayyy better after I let it sit for awhile. I was planning to sell it, but now I'm not so sure I want to. It reminds me a little of Commodity Milk but is less sweet

It was a bit too musky/manly for me. Ended up returning.

I really wanted to like this fragrance, and I thought I would. So much so that instead of buying a sample size from Kayali, I purchased the 10mL travel bottle. I don’t like this. I thought I’d like this and not like the chocolate oud, but it was quite the opposite. It is a Frankensteins monster made up of santal 33 mixed with commodity milk expressive. It is a very unpleasant combination that is an assault on my nostrils. Wet clay or cement, like concrete following light rain with the sun shining. Almost metallic. That, mixed with warm, cozy sweater, tonka bean scent.

I don't smell much milk or musk. To my nose, it's a lot of incense, suede, and sandalwood. It reads medicinal or antiseptic for the first 20-30 minutes before it mellows out to something more masculine suede. I get zero sweetness. I could layer it with other scents, but I don't like it enough on its own to keep it. Will be returning. I compared it to Ledda's Bourbon Brulee and Glossier's Doux, but I like both of those better.

I am so loyal to KAYALI. I buy nearly all of her releases and have a collection of 20 bottles! This is by far the WORST scent. In fact, I feel scammed. Let down by influencers that clearly lie about products! I CANNOT SMELL ANYTHING. This is like as light as a soap scent on skin after a wash with a baby soap. It is soo light, i almost convinced myself that I had a faulty bottle. I cant believe how people have hyped this?

I do not own anything from Kayali, and have only owned and enjoyed thoroughly Musk 12 in the past, which is of course, not tragically and typically discontinued. I thought from the name that Milky Musk Oud might be the one to change this. But it is not for me at all. I do understand the Blanche Bete comparisons but this is like a light wearing poor relative of BB. Super underwhelming.

I got this as part of the oud discovery set, which I enjoyed overall. I wanted to love this one too, and the initial sprays were nice. The dry-down doesn't work with my body chemistry though, and over time the milk note was sour and almost pukey. I would not recommend blind buying this one, unless you are sure that all milk notes work amazing on you.

The opening is actually SWEET? I get a kick of pure sugar. Then there's cinnamon? Then I don't know what's going on... Rubber? Plastic? Metal? Something like the smell that hits your nose when you get out of your car after arriving at the auto repair shop. And then the drydown is somehow nice - musky and sweet. Confusing :(

This is the smell of a gasoline pump in the air when you arrive at the gas station. motor rubber and musk insense with a gas station blend. A wanna be gas station ..bad version of trying to be a Commodity milk , they need to re-do this. 3/10 Chocolate oud is best .

really didn’t like this one. It came across as very synthetic loud, overpowering, and honestly a bit headachy. I didn’t get any of the creamy or milky notes it promised, which was disappointing. Definitely not for me.

Smells extremely metallic, sour, and leathery. Not for me and definitely not what the notes would have led me to expect. Honestly, probably could call this Moon Oud or something idk.

The comparison to Blanche Bete is laughable IMHO. I love Kayali but this was a miss for me. I get no milky quality whatsoever, no strawberry, just a heady musk and oud.

oh god, this is awful. i don't get any 'milky' vibes from this fragrance at all. to me it's a like peppery/light smoky fragrance, which i dislike. i was hoping for it to be more creamy and warm. i can't express enough how disappointed i am in Kayali's/Mona's 2025 launches. they've all been massive letdowns.

I got this as a sample from TPG last year and I've tried it a couple of times on skin to try to understand it and honestly, I am less clear on what this is now than I was when I first got my nose on it. It is a fragrance where you have to keep asking yourself whether you like it. After careful consideration, I think I do. But there is a lot going on here, so let's dive in. Oudgasm Milky Musk Oud 30 (what a mouthful!) is a unisex fragrance from Kayali, and they are a house that I associate as being heavily feminine-leaning in most of what they do, rightly or wrongly. This is a lactonic scent first and foremost, with a surprisingly heavy heart of incense and santal. This isn't a summer breeze kind of thing. The notes say there is a strawberry accord in the middle which honestly I am struggling to pick up, so if you're expecting a strawberry milkshake sort of vibe, then Kayali has you covered, but just not with this scent. I get the pink paper in the head quite strongly in the opening and it stays in for the duration in a really appealing way. The musk is undeniably milky. The milky flavour is akin to how hot milk smells, as if you've just made a nice latte for breakfast. It does dominate this fragrance which has the odd effect of making me feel it is unbalanced, and I'm not sure that is true. Furthering this, the incense covers up the silver oud in the base to a great extent. It seems odd to me to describe a fragrance as "oudgasm" (which I love the idea of conceptually, regular followers of my reviews know how much I love oud) but then cover up the oud note almost completely with incense and a very rich santal. I have to keep reminding myself that just because it doesn't deliver on the oud it promises, doesn't mean I cannot like it. I found more peace with this fragrance once I understood that it is a not-very-sweet steamed milk gourmand musk set against some hefty incense and suedey sandalwood. On that truth, it is actually very nice and nicely done. The sandalwood accord grows in richness and prominence as this dries down which makes it sweeten slightly on the skin after a few hours, giving this a nice non-linear character I do appreciate. Interestingly, it has that X factor which I wasn't expecting. By that I mean I find myself drawn to it, constantly moving my wrist to my nose to sniff it. It has that additive quality and if you own Santal 33 by Le Labo you'll know what I mean. This isn't the same: Santal 33 is a harsher and much less gentle animal of a fragrance, but there are similarities for sure. Lys 41 is not a million miles away from this one either if we're doing slightly oblique Le Labo references today. Oudgasm Milky Musk Oud 30 is pretty wearable even if I think personally I would find it a rare(r) reach just because I am not a huge gourmand guy and for the times and occasions where I'd go for it, there are many in my collection I would objectively prefer. I would say though that it is the most appealing musky gourmand (for me) I've found. I find the pink pepper scattered liberally all through this to be the most enjoyable part and, objectively, it is an interesting fragrance that has a nice individuality and originality to it that collectors like me do crave sometimes. Kayali do a 10ml of this for around US$35 and I'd be buying that over a full 50ml as 10ml would be plenty I think. At that price it is a fairly compelling value proposition. This is the first Kayali I've really got to grips with and the experience has been interesting enough to make me reconsider my preconceptions that there is nothing in their lineup for guys like me and that they are all hyper sweet gourmands that are not of interest. Just got this in the post. On first spray, all I get is a blast of incense. I am not sure how I feel about this and I love KayAli. I will come back in a week to see if it settles. 1-hr update: okay now it has dd to a lovely strawberry cream scent. It is lovely. The incense is quite faint now. And the strawberry is strong on me. I will say do test it out first before commitment to 50ml, as scents are unique to each person. I can’t stress this enough. She is a keeper for me Update: I received Chocolate Oud and did a my take on the scent. I think the new Kayali scents are meant to be worn together, like the Wedding Santal collection. Chocolate oud and milky musk are amplified with worn together. Update 1mo later: The strawberry note is much stronger for me on spray and skin. The incense remains present but not as strong as on first spray when purchased. I am really enjoying this scent. I love it now! It layers well with cafe oud, rose oud, vanilla oud, yum pistachio and of course chocolate oud!!!!! Please give it a chance, the scent does settle well Updated 4 mo later: It is so much smoother now. Milk, musk, and spice. I agree with commenter higher up: scent is like a spicy rice pudding or extra spicy hot horchata.

So I smelled this having high hopes with this fragrance because the notes are something I usually gravitate to, but this wasn't doing it for me. Everyone was saying this is giving blanche bete / babycat vibes, but unfortunately my nose doesn't like this. It makes my stomach turn - for context I do not like milky fragrances because it ALWAYS smells sour and faecal. To my nose this is a creamy smoother Santal 33 by Le Labo with a lot of suede - I would wear this instead of santal if i had to, but i'd rather wear neither. It was interesting when i first smelled it, i got a combo of sweet, musky, slightly powdery, but after wearing it for a few days, it gives me like a BO smell which i always get in Milky scents as well. As a lover of Kayali, this one wasn't doing it for me at all unfortunately, and among of her few others, i can defo live without. Even the chocolate oud she released was just meh - lighter more apply version of angel share, a DNA i can also live without. Don't let my words put you of smelling the perfume, scents are subjective to each person, what i like others may not and vice versa, however, I was disappointed by this oudgasm launch.

Now we are talking. Most of my absolutely favorite notes blended exquisitely, this is amazing ! Oh she's classy, elegant, beautiful 😍 With a touch of ethereal darkness. A gorgeous musk perfume. Would love to wear this even on the daily. The coffee is luckily not detectable which is how it should be used in perfumery, but it adds that "roasted" character of depth. Glad strawberry is not detectable too, that's how you do it !!! I think this is one of my top 3 favorite Kayali perfumes ever. Wonderful truly. For any musk lover: this is a complex beauty you will want to own and dent on the daily. She's the sexy long black dress with an open back. She is the eye contact of an ultra feminine dark panther, that moves slowly and captures your gaze like a hypnotist. Beautiful, the ethereal quality about it allows for everyday wear. I can see people loving this to even become their signature main scent.

Ok now this is intriguing to me! I definitely get every note and it’s smooth and a little bit of everything. I’m not into musky scents at all but I cannot stop sniffing my wrist. This truly draws you in! This is the scent of a beautiful cool girl in a the chicest suede jacket, wearing lots of dark eyeliner. It definitely gives you an aura. If you like peppery, musky, milky notes this could be a holy grail for you or a perfect base layer. I think this could be fun to experiment with how it interacts with other fragrances. Soft unisex vibes. My skin somehow amps up oud notes so for me oud is fully present but I think it’s offset with enough sweetness that it’s not dominating the composition. I don’t know if I like it enough to want a bottle because it’s really not my typical kind of scent profile... but it’s got a magical kind of je ne sais quois... If tested this more I could be converted.

All I smell is musk, wood, a touch of powder, and a bit of incense. I don't get any coffee or strawberry or cream or milk. It's a nice masculine leaning scent but it's kinda boring. I'm disappointed since so many reviews compared this to Blanche Bete but this is NOTHING like blanche bete. Blanche Bete has beautiful milky white florals with a clean and creamy sandalwood (zero pickles) and a non-gourmand (not syrupy or brown sugar) vanilla. This is just musk, wood (not sandalwood), incense. If you're looking for something similar to the Blanche Bete DNA, you'll be disappointed. Edit: I couldn't put my finger on what this smelled like and I figured it out! There's a moth ball scent in this! It doesn't smell exactly like moth balls but there's a moth ball quality mixed in with the other notes. Once it dries down, the Iso E super is very strong (it's the majority of what I smell).

I tried this at Sephora on my wrist and I really smelled saffron or oud (to me saffron smells like a cleaner oud), pink pepper and musk. It reminds me of Crystal Saffron from Matiere Premiere, which I love on a man, but not on myself. This is like a sweeter more feminine version of CS. It also has some resemblance to Sweet diamond PP, but this one has no rose and its colder and more airy. The sandalwood kind of blends into my skin somehow, not a "pickle sandalwood" as l think some smell like. It smells kind of clean and sensual on me. I do not pick up on the strawberry, maybe it is just adding sweetness. I think it's a beautiful blend and l was taken back by its beauty.

Clean musk and smoky oud with creamy sandalwood and whipped cream milk, followed by musk and oud again, along with a touch of ambrette and coffee, and traces of saffron and tonka; as for the strawberry... well, you can't really smell it, perhaps if you try very hard. There is a slight hint of fruity sweetness, but it goes almost unnoticed. It is a clean, straightforward scent of musk, milk, and oud pepper and leather and it is so good. I love it, it isn't aggressive, yet it has a certain sharpness. In hot weather, it might go unnoticed. Longevity is very good, over 10 hours and projection is strong for the first two hours. It will project better on cooler days.
