Utopia Vanilla Coco 21

This has quickly become my favourite Kayali AND my new signature fragrance. You definitely smell the coconut upon first spray, it has the same coconut smell from the maui moisture (blue bottle) range. It's not a gourmand coconut either, it's like a sophisticated, milky coconut smell. It definitely smells like summer but I don't get beach or sunscreen from this. This is more creamy, light (ethereal almost) and more ELEGANT!! The coconut smell lingers throughout the whole journey as well as the flowers, and vanilla bourbon.. They are key players here. Honestly, this perfume is everything I wanted Michael Kors for women to smell like.. white florals with that extra SOMETHING, in this case it's gorgeous creamy, delicious white floral/ coconut/ vanilla/ woody potion! I feel like I can't overspray this and get a headache, its very light but with that comes poor sillage and longevity. It doesn't leave a trail but it is a nice perfume. Worth the price tag? Hm. Not sure. I will definitely come back to that.. (yes and no, if I can find a cheaper dupe then I will get that instead, but it is a divine fragrance and won't mind purchasing if I can't find something similar) Watching reviews I was worried it would be too sweet like Vanilla-28 but this is gorgeous and it's definitely well balanced.. The perfect in between! I think the majority of people will think of a more synthetic, sunscreen "body shop coconut" or even "Bronze Goddess sunscreen" smell but this isn't it and I'm so THANKFUL for that! This is more for an all season, safe everyday wear. This is my first time trying Kayali and I am impressed! I'm super excited to try more of their line especially Elixir.

I’ll admit that this isn’t quite as unique as the new vacation in a bottle line or the YUM line for that matter, but come on — SDJ Rio Radiance being voted as the most similar? I’m not smelling it, and my daughter is an avid Rio Radiance wearer. This is a lot more complex and sophisticated, in my humble opinion. Rio Radiance isn’t awful, it’s just a lot less layered and more artificial smelling to me. If I had to compare this to anything, I’d say at first sniff, it smells a lot like Alien Goddess but the dry down is where it develops into something different. If you’ve ever smelled Guerlain Terracotta, it’s more like a cross between that without the dominant monoi note, and Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. I don’t know, it lacks the nuttiness from SB and the monoi from Terracotta. This isn’t a bad thing, it just makes for a less salty and sunscreen-esque scent. There’s still something warm and tropical about it, but it’s not straight up beachy and it’s not a pina colada. It’s creamy, has a balanced sweetness, and the white florals are done really well. I don’t find them to be too dominant, and as with most Kayali perfumes, they’re blended very nicely. It’s all-around very balanced, but if you’re expecting coconut dessert, you won’t find it here. I continue to be surprised that a lot of reviewers aren’t impressed with the brand’s longevity. I have this one, all 4 scents in the vacation line, Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, Wedding Silk, Fleur Majesty, YUM Boujee Marshmallow and Pistaschio Gelato, and the only two that I can honestly say lack staying power are Maldives and Marrakesh in a Bottle. The other ones all have outstanding performance.

I was gifted this perfume for Christmas a few years ago and wore it all summer long. It ended up being one of the best summers of my life, and this perfume definitely added to that, and added to my nostalgia of that time as fragrances have the ability to do. I'd tried it at the shops a few times and found the scent beautiful and entirely different to everything else I owned at the time. Vanilla scents are something I'd always gravitated too - but every note in this perfume added layers that were delicate and feminine, creamy, coconut-y, floral, bourbon vanilla notes, the tuberose one of my favourites and I even got some pear. It all blends well together and is so lovely on the skin. At times it nods slightly to sunscreen which I found quite pleasant. The bottle I have is 50ml and has lasted me longer than other perfumes of that size - simply because it is long-lasting and one or two sprays is enough. For the past two years or so I've taken to wearing it to my weekend job and I've received so many compliments from both coworkers and customers - male and female. It's a perfume I haven't gotten sick of after owning it for a few years, and from a seasonal perspective, for me it works all year round. The only downside for me is the price. The perfume was gifted to me, and though repurchasing would be expensive I think I will get another bottle the same size when I run out .

Think Alien Goddess, but instead of the jasmine-coconut-bourbon vanilla combination, it’s tuberose-coconut-bourbon vanilla. I’m surprised there’s no ylang ylang as well, because there’s an air of that note somewhere in the middle. Unlike Alien Goddess, there’s a somewhat darker note in the dry down that anchors everything. From the notes, it looks to be patchouli, although you wouldn’t know. I’m not getting the pear blossom, lemon, or sandalwood, although there is a hint of the musk in the latter stages of the dry down. I haven’t tried any Kayali scents before this as none really appealed to me. On my quest for white florals with coconut and sunscreen scents, I was recommended this and I’m really glad. It’s very summery and the coconut and white floral combination is done well, although the tuberose is the main floral coming through. I would put this in the same category as Rio Radiance and the aforementioned Alien Goddess. Performance is hard to judge as I’ve been wearing it in a heatwave and perfumes are leaving my skin pretty swiftly, although it does cling to fabric for a good while. An easy like if you’re a fan of this type of perfume. It smells fresh and modern, like many of the newer takes on white florals.

The proper word for this fragrance is inDOLLic, as it is the essence of whimsical femininity. Think Cleopatra bathing in white florals steeped in warm coconut milk whilst the lotus eaters from the Odyssey braid more white flowers into her hair. The coconut here is not cool and beachy. Rather, the fragrance is reminiscent of a sun-drenched fairy eden bursting with flowers that just happens to be located in the middle of a tropical island. The vanilla bourbon intertwines pretty seamlessly with the florals and makes for a creamy thickness that lends to that "I just drank poppy flower tea and will now nap in the elven realm forever" vibe. Men seem to like this on me and compliment me a lot when I wear it, but more so in a way that suggests they are very subdued by it. Not sure how I feel about making men sleepy. I like the fragrance, but I wish there was more coconut. If I do choose to repurchase this, it would be for the heady white florals and base of thick vanilla and not for a beachy splashy fragrance, which would in my world be much brighter and more cool. This is a warm one that I've enjoyed on hot summer nights paired with this summer's other obsessions: wrap skirts and body shimmer.

I did not like this at all when I got it in my discovery set...I was like “what in the generic white floral blast is this none sense?!” However, I kept getting wafts of a creaminess I adored and gave it the full wear test using up the sample and ended up - kind of - liking it enough to purchase a 50ml. Well. The beauty is in the atomiser of the the bigger bottles - it disperses the scent so beautifully over your skin and clothes and fast forward a month - this perfume is the only one I’m wanting to reach for and is easily in my top favourites. It’s a growing beauty, it transforms, tells a story and I am kicking myself that I didn’t buy the 100ml but will do so once I run out of this. It’s so incredibly comforting, warm, dreamy, creamy, fresh. Utopia is the perfect name for this - It just puts you in a good mood and makes you smile whenever you smell it! I want to wear this when I wake up, when I am fresh out of the shower, when I’m going to run errands, a summer date night, when I’m going to bed - just drown me in this please! I really thought this was nothing special when I first tried but it truly is magical once you get to know it!

This is my most complimented scent and I have quite a collection. You can’t go wrong with this one in the spring and summer. Creamy white florals, sweet vanilla & coconut with a hint of honeysuckle. Unlike Alien Goddess, this one doesn’t have a sunscreen vibe and that’s why I can’t stop reaching for it now that it’s finally June. If anything, this smells like a woman that uses the most luxurious coconut scented body wash and pairs it with a floral body lotion afterwards. I’ve been asked about my perfume every single time I’ve worn it, a barista stopped in the middle of our conversation to tell me that I smelled soooo good and she could smell me from several feet away. On the other hand, you do have to let this sit for a few months. The very first time I wore it, all I got was a screechy pear note and I wasn’t impressed. Overall, not a unique scent but it’s luxurious for summer and your man will love it. I happened to be wearing this when I got engaged on a beach vacation, so it will always have a place in my collection. 10/10.

This is one of my all time favourites. I realised I had not written anything about this yet, so let's go! I adored her from the first sniff. Bought a travel size, then upgraded to a full bottle, which was hard at the time as about a year ago this was somehow sold out everywhere. What an amazing scent. This is everything I want from a perfume. Simply beautiful! This gives summery vibes because of the coconut, but this definitely is not your typical sunscreen scent. There are some really deep beautiful florals in here that balance it all out wonderfully. She is sweet and has vanilla, but is not too cloying and has great depth. The only downside is that for the price, the performance could be better, but I can forgive her for that. Bought the big bottle a year ago (secondhand, because of it being sold out) and I am almost through it already. Will soon have to buy a backup, because nothing will compare to this for me!

Finally managed to get a bottle of this as it is always sold out! The opening of this fragrance, to me at least, reminds me of the 1977 version of YSL Opium, the one in the opaque brown bottle, and after comparing the notes, there are a few similarities so it isn't just my imagination! As it settles for 20 minutes or so the vanilla starts to come through, with incense and some citrus, Im not detecting a lot of coconut and it certainly doesn't smell like any suntan lotion I've ever used. Its a grown up scent in my opinion, I also don't think its a safe buy. As is customary with Kayali we have a patchouli element, its not as strong as some of the others but if you hate patchouli id steer clear of this one. Definitely one that can be layered with others, to maybe tone down a gourmand and create a sexy evening scent. Ill maybe come back once its aged a bit, but overall I really do like this fragrance!

This is probably one of Kayali's best offerings - it's sweet, creamy, milky and coconutty without being remotely sickly, synthetic or upsetting. I just finished my bottle after having it since December 2023 and it has been absolutely amazing! The projection is excellent and it lasts a good 6-7 hours on skin. It's just delicious and works so well in the summer - I have spent the past week wearing this on the beach - but also in winter it layers perfectly with caramel scents. I've been using it in the colder months to round out D&G's The Only One, which is okay on its own but really shines with this perfume. I would absolutely recommend this and definitely want to get another bottle once I've reduced the overall size of my collection a little - it's so underrated and so good!

Contemplated for long whether to get a bottle of Utopia Vanilla Coco after a sample was sent to me. This somehow grew into me after I revisited my vial that’s been away in the drawer for over a month. White florals are prominent in the opening but it immediately dries down to a warm, soft and creamy coconut comfort. Wearing this I am transported to a tropical island setting. On a luxury beach resort, wearing a fine white dress, a plumeria tucked behind my ear while sipping a coco milkshake on a beautiful summer day. I imagine if an expensive, white silk fabric has a scent, this would be it. Definitely not your typical coconut-vanilla scent, this is one of the most sophisticated fragrances I own!

oh WOW. This is my new obsession. I haven't liked a fragrance this much in a long time. It projects nicely; I smelt it on two different customers at my job and recognized it both times, having to stop and compliment them. It reminds me of a stronger, more vanilla version of the Solar Bloom by Clean Reserve because the citrus notes are quite predominant to me. I wouldn't say it's a 'beachy' scent - because I'm not really into that. I would maybe describe it as bohemian, though, in an LA way. The jasmine and coconut pull it together really nicely. I have a sampler set coming in the mail with this as one of the fragrances... I'm so excited.

I'm a sucker for vanilla amber scents, white florals and coconut so this was a no brainer for me! It's very vanilla forward, uplifted by white florals with whispers of coconut. For me i can barely detect the coconut (or anything else other than vanilla and white florals) but it's such a beautiful blend of those white florals and vanilla! I absolutely adore it. I feel very feminine and pretty wearing this. As with all Kayali scents the longevity and silage is terrible. I wish there was another frag which smelt like this that lasted! If you like vanilla and white florals definitely try this - it's a safe blind buy!

Ce parfum est incroyable ! Je l’ai découvert en croisant une femme qui sentait si bon que je n’ai pas su ne pas lui demander quel était cette odeur divine. J’ai reçu énormément de compliments avec ce parfum. Petite anecdote. J’ai dû laisser mes clés à une collègue car elle n’avait pas les siennes, toute la soirée, les résidents lui ont dit qu’elle sentait tellement bon et elle avait également remarqué que ça sentait bon mais cette odeur ne venait pas d’elle. Elle a fini par découvrir que c’était mon « collier » qui soutient mes clés qui sentit toute l’après-midi et la soirée... Achetez ce parfum vraiment

This one and Musk 12 are my two favorite Kayali to date. Utopia is so addicting. I have hard times with coconut fragrances, but this one is balanced so well with florals, vanilla and sandalwood. Ill be sad if this one disappears from the market like Musk 12. One thing Ill add, I wore in cooler day and Utopia was very cozy and comforting, it does have quite a bit of muskiness and sweetness which might be slightly over powering in very hot days. and FYI, its nothing like TF Soleil Blanc which is white floral sunscreen bomb or Moncera Holidays or Alien Goddess, nothing. I havent smelled others compared.

I'm surprised that this has a score below 4.0. Also surprised that a lot of wearers aren't enjoying the white florals and coconut notes together. While I hate white florals and not a huge fan of coconut, I find this scent unexpectedly beautiful. The coconut isn't overdone, tropical, childish, or masculine. That and the white florals are mellowed out perfectly by the vanilla and ambrette. It makes the blend smell creamy, feminine and soft. I don't think it's a great fragrance for summer (in Texas!!), but great in early spring or fall.

I usually don't get along with vanilla but this is very balanced: the vanilla note smells like proper vanilla pod, not vanilla sugar, and the white flowers are just as nuanced and defined as the coconut milk and vanilla. It's like a cascade of flowers floating in a bowl of coconut milk. Gardenia stands out the most, followed by jasmine and tuberose. Musk and sandalwood make for a sumptuous and smooth drydown. Good performance. It's a bit tropical but you can definitively use it all year round to daydream of faraway places.

My favourite Kayali for summertime! It has that addictive tropical floral smell that I love. A creamy, warm, sweet vanilla based scent with a variation of white florals, coconut milk and soft ambrette. Very smooth, tropical and dreamy! If you want a beautifully done coconut/vanilla/white floral scent for high temperatures, give Utopia a try. It’s really nice done and not massively overpriced in my opinion. I tend to get my Kayali’s when Sephora has a 20% off. The bottle is really eye catching, I love their bottles design.

I bought that one because of the sales, and did not expected much. SURPRISE, this is SO GOOD. I was so shocked to like it as much as I do! This scent is so comfortable, creamy and super soft. It's a mix of white flowers that give a softness to the coconut, the Coconut which is already a creamy note. It's really well balanced and fits so well together. This is so perfect for an everyday scent and not only summer ! For the longevity it lasts for about 4+ hours and that's really an instant love ;)

Very feminine. Beachy. This is good for spring/summer. I actually quite liked this one, usually I HATE coconut smells or coconut notes in perfume. The pear, jasmine, and sandlewood blend very well together, and there is a lovely honeysuckle note in here. Projectivity is about arms length. This perfume makes me think of a hammock in the shade surrounded by flowers with a nice tropical drink in your hand. I could see myself getting a bigger bottle of this and wearing it daily. Very nice. 8.5/10

First of all this isn’t the creamy coconut scent I was expecting . It’s true to the main accords. The way the juicy pear and Jasmin combine here reminds me of Ocean Di Gioa . I don’t get much of a milky coconut but more of like coconut water and underneath that I get a very silky vanilla in the base. A like this very much and it’s perfect for the now 80 degree weather here in FL. Makes me want to go to the beach I cannot wait to layer this with Borabora

This is such a gorgeous, sweet, creamy coconut fragrance that doesn't lean tropical to my nose. Instead I get a cooling effect from the coconut milk making this very lactonic and a super easy reach for spring especially! The longevity of this one is pretty good for me, getting about 5 hours on skin and much longer on clothes with a moderate projection. This one is so dreamy and gorgeous and will absolutely always be a part of my collection!

Sensual. Soft. Dark. Sweet. Two test sprays on a warm night before bed and I was instantly transported to the Maldives, Bora Bora or another tropical island. I could vividly imagine a beautiful balmy night, full moon, warm sand beneath my feet, palm trees slightly swaying in the breeze, walking along the beach under a full moon. It’s beautifully tropical, with something deeply nostalgic for me woven through it. Pure bliss.

YUM. That’s how I would describe this fragrance, but the snack is you! I get complimented for this scent and everyone loves this. That being said, it’s very strong and smells like sunscreen, which I absolutely adore, but it’s def a summer scent for the beach or vacay. Super sweet and sexy. Love love it, however it’s also not really a sophisticated or interesting scent. More like sexy and playful.

One of the longer lasting, larger sillage, more sophisticated Kayali scents. I am surprised it does not get more love! Does not smell all that coconut/vanilla but more of a generic beachy perfume-- which I love. Sunscreen, yes. Personally a LOVE for me. Long lasting and great, especially on the dry down where any synthetic perfume vibes burn off. Hoping to buy a full size soon

My favorite Kayali scent by a mile. Rich vanilla, very warm with an overlay of white florals. I'd only wear this in winter or autumn, but it's a gorgeous floral gourmand. It smells like nothing I've ever smelt and as a long time fan of everything "Alien" I'm unsure why it is the top rated "similar" scent. That said, I love both so perhaps there's a note I can't detect.

Gorgeous fragrance. After all the hype over Vanilla 28, THIS is what I was hoping for from that based on the reviews. This is expensive smelling non generic, lightly spiced soft vanilla fragrance. Sensual and decadent, gourmandy with soft white florals. Slightly lactonic, slightly exotic yet good for everyday. This would be perfect with a much stronger sillage. 9/10

The strong white florals are reminiscent of Honolulu. The coconut and vanilla make for a very subtle, elegant pairing. Note that this scent becomes subtle after about half an hour to an hour, so the title of “intense” is inaccurate. Also, the sandalwood isn’t very noticeable. This is my favourite perfume and is always sold out at my local Sephora!

There are no words to describe how much I love this perfume. It's a perfect daytime blend of tuberose, vanilla, and coconut. My favorite Kayali perfume ever The only issue for me is the longevity, as it doesn't last long. To compensate, I usually layer it under Soleil Blanc, La Nuit Trésor Nude, or sweeter scents like Soft from Al-Rehab (the oil).

Nice creation. To me, I get a creamy coconut, slight booze on dry down with a hint of jasmine. To me it does not smell like sunscreen or body spray. Scents behave different on each person. Scent notes are picked up differently by each person. Try a decant for any fragrance before making a decision rather than solely on reviews.

I saw a comment saying that it smells like "Pandan Khanom Chan" the thai dessert, yes it does!!! However it settles into a deep elegant white floral tuberose-y scent on my skin. Reminds me of one those Elizabeth Arden floral fragrances, but better, will let it her sit in my wardrobe for couple days and come back to her again.

I love this scent, I don't know what it is, but something in it is so addicting to me. I find it super creamy and vanilla/coconut heavy, and very strong, I only need a spray or two and I smell it all day in wafts. Glad I bought the full size bottle, this is an everyday scent for me for sure.

Very grown up, which I feel is unusual for Kayali. I don’t get coconut but I get florals and a warmth. It smells expensive but also not for teens or young 20s. It’s my favourite of the Kayali scents and I will probably buy a full bottle at some point, unless there’s an Arabian dupe for it.

First impressions: elegant, clean, soft, slightly powdery, light white floral, not sunscreen-y. It would perfectly compliment tanned skin in a simple dress after a beach nap and walk about some Riviera or Mediterranean town. I could see a slight hint of soleil neige, but not soleil blanc.

This is my favorite summer fragrance and also a favorite from the whole Kayali collection so far! Sophisticated coconut and vanilla. Makes me feel sexy and elegant at the same time. Ideal for day and night but to me it smells like summer nights in an island.

I think this is my FAVOURITE kayali fragrance from the discovery collection and it also lasted the longest, I could smell it on my top the next day. Its a beautiful sophisticated uplifting holiday, beachy scent!! 4/5- just wish the longevity was better

Boozy, cuddly, warm - I love this but for me its a gem for autumn and winter. The coconut vibe is not dominant but leaves a memory of the warmer days that have been left behind. This perfume lasted well on my skin, I had no problems with longevity.

This is one of my favorite Cocount vanilla floral perfumes this has been on my list to purchase for awhile and I finally have it!! It doesn’t last that long but I still love it I layer this one a lot with other Cocount scents it’s just amazing 🥥🥥

A beautiful coconut milk scent. The florals work so well with the sweeter notes!! Absolutely love coconut + tuberose together. Sweet but still fresh. Easy to wear. A great summer day & evening perfume 🥥 🌸

She is a summer girl with salty beach waves. Smells abit like sunscreen but in the best way possible. This is definitely a unique scent and something I will always keep in my collection for summer.
