Precious Forest

While on a short trip to a different city, I went to the local shopping mall and decided to take a look at the perfume/cosmetics store. I dreaded walking in there as it was pretty crowded, and the SA's were everywhere. Thankfully they were nice, and didnt bother me after I told a couple of them that I was "just looking". Since I havent been in a store like this in ages, I decided it was time to finally move on from the designer part to check out the niche area of the store, which actually had a pretty decent selection of brands. On a whim I decided to test out Precious Forest first as the bottle stood out from the others (not the one pictured here), and it immediately reminded me A LOT of the orignal Dior Addict. The next one I smelled was Genie des Bois, which then smelled like Dolce Vita... Then after that, I moved on to Atelier Des Ors and their Lune Feline, which smelled very much like a version of Dior Homme Intense. LOL! It was like niche versions of Diors everywhere. I almost had to laugh. My wallet sure isn't laughing though, because I kinda want them all now! Long story short: If you like Dior Addict you will probably enjoy Precious Forest by Keiko Mecheri too.

This is indeed very similar to Dior Addict but spicier, warmer, and a bit darker, and the dry down is completely different. By the end of the day I no longer am reminded of Addict but am left with a subtly sweet earthiness, hinting at notes of chocolate or coffee.

Fragrantica, please correct the notes! Can you imagine how sweet grass could smell?? It's like Precious Forest smells for me - a floral meadow...

Very feminine, intensely woman. Perfect for a mischievous evening. Sweet and greedyly attractive. The duration is very good.
