Tarifa

purchased some of this on a whim for my wife, reading some reviews from lucky scent, and she doesn't have anything quite like this. on first sniff I was pleased with the way the fragrance smelled on her, I think it is better suited for spring and summer, it has a very bright fresh smell..longevity seemed ok not overwhelming but there are so few fragrances that last long enough for me. especially with these type of notes. one of those that I think a small atomizer she could keep in her purse for reapplication. some fragrances I know we feel like we cannot smell it but others seem to. she mentioned the same thing, but I could still detect it when she could not, maybe that is more common with these types of frangrances, but while this juice is in swing it is a wonderful womanly scent, quite striking actually. very feminine and lady like. I like this one a lot. I personally hope she stays with it. I would bet in really hot weather that we get where I live this would blossom. would be wonderful. have not gotten to that time of year yet but look forward to it. oranges and spices fill the air..bright citrus followed by warm and romantic.. very nice indeed. thinking of stealing some of it when she isn't looking to try on myself for kicks. could definitely see a man wearing this.. one of those that puts me into a better mood..

I'm a simple girl - give me a straight up white floral and I'm good to go lol. I bought Tarifa on a whim. I'm on a KM kick because she does amazing white florals. I had regrets as soon as I clicked purchase though, because I was worried about the spice notes. I couldn't have been more wrong! This is a most lovely neroli fragrance. Yes, the spice is there but not in a musky or heavy way. This is light, but not overly delicate. It absolutely reminds me of Phlur Phloria, although Phloria leans slightly more feminine in my opinion. Lovely fragrance with strong silage and moderate longevity!

Easy to wear neroli fragrance, perfect for a summer day. Not complicated to spin your head around what is going on on each stage of opening, just gives your brain a break to enjoy your day and feel good.

I have to thank Keiko and fragrantica, I was one of the winners of the Keiko Mecheri Contest - I chose Tarifa. Tarifa's opening is a very refreshing burst of juicy oranges - the amber and spices appear about 20 minutes later but never fully take center stage content to mingle politely in the back ground. The silage is quite good and the longevity is about 4 hours very reasonable for a cologne. I gave it to my special friend and he loves it. I must also say that Keiko's customer service is very impressive - although i was not technically a customer :). She sent my prize through priority mail and it arrived quickly (which is something special since the post service in my country is notoriously slow even for express mail) In addition to Tarifa, I received three extra samples, a hand written complimentary note and booklet that listed some of their other fragrances.

Utterly delicious, opening with juicy greenness and floral sweetness. Petitgrain gives Tarifa a little depth to an otherwise fleeting aromatic welcome. Amber is crystal clear and creates a glassy radiance in the heart with spices exuding warmth and joy. Then in the drydown, a more pronounced floral note. I get something rosey which then turns a little powdery with a smattering of lipstick. Could it be that the orange blossom and amber somehow create this accord? Incredibly similar to KM's Taormine I think. My original sample, I thought had been mistakenly confused with Taormine and requested a fresh decant. But now with this second vial, there is no difference from the first. Honestly, a nice fragrance, but too similar to Taormine to warrant a new label.
