Elixir

Pure Arabian Nights enchantment in a tiny little bottle. What an immersive and transportive experience this beauty is. The perfume starts off rather balmy with top notes of copahu resin mixed in with floral notes. It moves to a lovely heart of basil, juniper, nagarmotha and labdanum. Finally the base which is revealed on complete settling is a beautiful powdery musky mixture of oud, labdanum, gurjun balsam and ambergris. This is an exhilarating and invigorating elixir of a perfume blend which has a healing and lingering feel to it, and reveals its subtle beauty in slow layer after layer. Incredible longevity and sillage, this is one which should be used very cautiously. Just three or four drops will transport you straight to heaven. Enjoy!

Aptly named as Elixer, this juice feels like something straight from the gardens of middle earth's shire. Advantage of fragrantica is that you get to learn names of notes which you have never smelled in real life. Similarly, notes pyramid of elixer is filled with fancy names like Copahu Balm and Gurjan Balsam. What my nose actually picked was high quality combodian oud and floral notes with sweetness of vanilla in the shadows. Truth be told, this is one of the few scents that I can't stop sniffing once applied.

If I can speak about the LOVE I wanna say I love you. It's my the holy grail. Deep, Long, Beautiful. Stay forever on your skin. My partner said it smells like a fresh cow shit but I love it soooooo much and always uplifting my mood. For me, it smells like a hot sweat sweet sexy body that ready for play. I can make comparisons with MKK but for me, MKK soft sexy undercover scent, and this one just straight forward the invitation for long dirty play.

I don't detect flowers berries, or any sweetness, just crisp, dry resins and oud, and a touch of woods. I absolutely love it! I'm not sure what combination of notes I am smelling, but the current voted notes doesn't seem accurate.

This is simply epic. Very very natural smell. Lasts almost forever. Nice silage which is heavily present, yet discrete to your surroundings. Reminds me of beautiful memories of my youth at the seaside. Gimme sum mo!

Damn!! Could this be more amazingly better!? I got a sample of this last week but didn't bother to sniff it after sniffing the amazing Kemi from this line till i read "Wesleyhclark's" review which captured my attention when he wrote "This is the nastiest stuff I have ever smelled!". It is just AMAZING with that delicate animalic essence that captured my senses repeatedly by sniffing my hands! it has a very light oud note with more balsamic and a bit of sweet delicate vanilla and white floral (definitely no jasmines here). Labdanum is definitely there with more of kind of wet copahu balm! and wetly mud. Extremely captivating to me and i wish that they can afford a spray fragrance rather than an oil by then it will be one of my main favorites i'm sure.

I smelled some of this at the Scent Bar in Los Angeles... Wowee. The Queen of Skank! The top notes are very, very dirty. It settles down somewhat, but wow... This is extremely difficult to like! This is the nastiest stuff I have ever smelled!

لعل دار كيمي حاولت أن تضع توأما لتيمبيست وإذا كان الأول تيمبيست الأول بقوته الراتينجية العنيفة، فتوأمه هو ذلك الحسي الزهري البلسمي أليكسير "جوهر الأشياء ومكنونها". وبالفعل من يمتلك تيمبيست فسجد نفسه أما خيار حتمي بضم توأمه "أليكسير" إليه. البداية مع نوتة زهرية رقيقة حالمة لكنها قوية أراها تجمع ما بين الزهور البيضاء الدافئة الحالمة، وورود الجوري الحمراء التي تتفتح لها العيون الأذهان. أما أجمل وأميز ما بخلطة أليكسير فهو بلسم كوباهو بالم "Copahu Balm". ودائما إذا ما وجدت أكورد أي "بلسم" في توليفة عطرية فأعلم أنك أمام عطر سيمس إحساسك من الداخل. وبلسم كوباهو هو الأميز وشقيقه "تولو" بين كل ما هو "بلسم أكورد". وبلسم كوباهو راتنجي فاخر، أصله البرازيل وغرب أفريقيا. يتم الحصول عليه من شجرة كوباهو، رائحته تبعث على التأمل والاسترخاء، وقد استخدمه هنود الأمازون في علاج الكدمات والتهاب المفاصل. "وأعتقد أن رائحته أيضا تعالج الكثير من الكدمات النفسية". فبداية أليكسير فاخرة زهرية حسية. أما القلب فسيظهر فيه راتينج اللابدانوم "Labdanum" بكثافة وهو تشيبري خشبي الطابع، وربما وجوده هام لإحداث توازن مطلوب مع توت العرعر: Juniper Berries الذي يتبع الفصيلة السروية، فله رائحة منعشة تشبه رائحة البنفسج، بالإضافة إلى نبات السعدة القريب الرائحة من نبات البردى. قلب العطر له توليفة غير نمطية تموج ما بين النمط الإنجليزي التشيبري الكلاسيكي، والإيطالي المتحرر الغير نمطي. لكنها رائعة على كل حال. القاعدة ستضم تكثيفا لراتينج اللابدانوم ثم كتوأمه تيمبيست سيكون "العود – العنبر" ويكتمل هذا الثلاثي بالرائع للغاية "بلسم وراتينج غورجون" الموجود بكثافة في تيمبيست. فأليكسير؛ يضم على تدرج مراحله ثلاثي لا مثيل له من "بلسم كوباهو في المقدمة – راتينج اللابدانوم في القلب والقاعدة – بلسم غورجون في القاعدة" شيء أكثر من رائع إلى جوار توأمه تيمبيست، والذي يشاركه أيضا التوافق مع عطر كيمي حياة. وأرى هذا الثلاثي "تيمبيست – أليكسير – حياة" هو أفضل ما أصدرت دار كيمي ويستحق أن ينفق فيه هذا السعر المرتفع النقاء وجمال التوليفة والثبات والفوحان وكل شيء خارج نطاق الأرقام.

Magic blend of Florals Sweets and Oriental Balsams lavishes on you since the very beginning, one may be confused and overwhelmed by extraordinary intensity and olfactive power of the scent. As time passes by Elixir gradually yet dramatically transforms into compelling fragrance, true ancient alchemy. Warm cloud of creamy sweetness makes you feel as if it hovers around you and with time become more and more enriched with additional Leather scent, dense yet waxy Oud and gentle Labdanum with Amber. A very natural balsamic oud scent, barnyard-y, bold in the opening, there's a complex progression to this, the labdanum with the juniper berries creates a subtle freshness, there's a soft rose with some other florals that tame the potent rich oud, artful composition, definitely high-quality ingredients used, smells very sophisticated, wish it projected a little louder. Overall, this is a beautiful oud oil from Kemi, that's sure to be appreciated by enthusiasts of oud scents.

I love this and can't believe I haven't gone back until now, after the initial testing a couple of years ago... This is dirty, creamy, balsamic, slightly cheesy in the opening, with the floral notes and juniper berries providing a crisp sweetness. The labdanum oud and ambergris blend to absolute perfection... This is 100% addictive, and strong stuff. Not a "safe" fragrance, and I am obsessed.

I don't know what Agar wood is used , but its wearable pure agar wood . Initially smells like a normal attar / oil but after 10 mins it opens up & smells really up market oriental frag . Its not unique but its something every oriental lover will appreciate .. Its not potent as well but lasts for fairly a long time . And packing is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS

I really want to like this one, but finding it challenging. I will try and layer it. I'm a big fan of fragrances where the oud is a lot more muted and act more as a discreet background note...think Lucas 777 Oumma, The Oud by Pierre de Levay (RD) etc. Elixir is heavy strong oud - skanky to my nose. I'm trying to convert myself..

Very strong perfume in terms of sillage and longevity. Oud, florals and musk are immensely dense here, which are sharpened by nagarmotha and juniper notes. It is less offensive than "Al Khat" from the same line, although similar musk notes can be smelt in both. A small dab lasts for the whole day
