This takes you to an almost "magical" and autumnal oriental world... this beautiful perfume reminds me of autumn, it is beautifully balanced and intense. A complex and enveloping fragrance! I really like! Sillage and longevity are very good! I love this perfume. Sillage: 9./10 Longevity: 10./10 Scent: 9./10 Overall: 9./10

I finally found a second decant of this beautiful fragrance! It is definitely one of my top 3 fragrances, if only it were more affordable 😔 I agree with reviewers saying this fragrance transports you to a different place. It is amazingly warm, sweet, and soft. To my nose it is a very complex scent, blended perfectly.

This is a sweet, smooth and comforting floral amber fragrance.. love this type of scent.. didnt scream but have a decent sillage that people around you will notice..

Layla is a sweet and creamy gourmand with a heavy lactic component... think of adding spices like nutmeg and clove to your hot milk and you will have an idea of how it smells. I like it a lot but there are so many other gourmands I prefer over this, that the price is way too high for me to choose it. I must confess though that I have Arabie for example and love it to tears but seldomly wear it... this I would reach to pretty often. It is a safe choice. Quality is great, it is very unisex (in case you don't think every gourmand leans on feminine) and it has decent longevity and sillage... not what I would expect but very good nonetheless... actually I guess it could be tiresome if it were stronger. Better this way. Definitely a reliable oriental ideal for cold to mild weathers.

"Layla" started with a blast of candy sweetness and was loudly showing it's face for an hour. Sweet and light, almost buttery - full of ylang ylang. At some points I even got a slight vibe of industrial glue (ylang ylang tends to do that with my chemistry). I didn't get much after the first hour - it gets really shy and close to skin. Even though "Layla" is a beauty, I couldn't justify the huge price tag - it's really too subtle and too shy. Clings so close to skin and the scent itself is very soft and gentle, I hoped for a bit of "oomph" given the bottle and the house, but well - you can't have it all. Staying power for "Layla" was mediocre - some 4 hours. Worth a try, but don't expect much.

Nice soft Floriental composition. The name means ‘night’ in Arabic and the perfume begins on a spicy note with cloves and nutmeg moving to a floral woody heart of ylang ylang and cedar, and finally settling into a powdery base of amber, vanilla, patchouli, musk and candied fruit. The perfume mostly stays close to the skin once it settles and has moderate sillage, projection and longevity. The delicate, sweet and slightly feminine scent is a transport to a happier time in an exotic land. Enjoy!

Un'ambra molto morbida e dolce, le spezie sono appena accennate, dopo qualche minuto sento tanta tanta vaniglia cremosa calda. Il profumo è complesso e potente, la persistenza è notevolissima. Per me eccessivamente dolce, zuccheroso e mielato, avvolgentissimo. Fiori non pervenuti, forse annegati nella colata cremosa.

A sweet floral scent. A safe blind buy.

A hyper-sweet, vanillic-amber floral beast. The amber elements blend well with the vanilla, as well as some sweet notes, and the whole thing marries well to create a sillage beast. Towards the middle parts, it lurches towards a slightly metallic-screech territory, and for that reason, I'm ruling it out, but I'm aware that my nose is rather sensitive towards these kinda notes, so you may not have the same experience that I had. Worth trying...

This is a beautiful oriental dream. The ylang in this keeps it creamy the amber adds depth and the candy note keeps it playful. This last and last, and has a beautiful soft oriental trail patchouli and musk hang on for dear life for hours and hours! Stunning
