Kenneth Cole For Him

Way better than it should be at this price point. You can get a 50 ml for $16 bucks or so at Burlington, or a 100ml for 20 bucks or so online. It seems like another "rack store cheapie" but it's really not. It has a distinctly "Kenneth Cole" style scent- very designer and accessible, nothing that would be off putting at all and very easy to wear. But, this is probably the best execution of that style in the KC brand, at least in my opinion. Absolutely worth your money, and also an easy blind buy, I think everyone will like this. It is definitely a must have in my opinion. It works for any situation and doesn't smell like Sauvage or Ambroxan, and its not a Tonka bomb... it doesnt follow any of the current trends in perfumery. It's simple and mass appealing but unique when you compare it to all the other mass appealers out there. Read the other reviews for more in depth breakdown on notes, but just know that if you are standing in Burlington right now holding this fragrance and wondering if you should buy it- yes, you should. Not a waste of money at all. Great scent. Look up the layering fragrances- Intensity, Energy and Serenity- once you check this one out. They were created to be layered over this scent to transform it into a new scent when layered. They're really nice and it's a cool concept. Longevity is decent, 4-6 hours, easy to re-apply. Decent projection, this is good for when you want to smell good but dont want it to be announced and forced upon others. It's nice for warm weather especially. This is a very very good buy. This is good for all age ranges. It can even be a good first date scent, when you dont wanna overwhelm with intense cologne but still wanna smell good. Great office scent as well.

Excellently masculine and very suitable for spring and summer climates ... With a very distinctive performance somewhat above average. The fragrance bottle is luxurious without pretentiousness, made of distinctive heavy glass in a gray color. Suitable as a psychological treatment due to its intense attractiveness and uniqueness. The price is about $90 on the Kenneth Cole website. Rating: 9/10

I accidentally left my queue empty on Scentbird and this was shipped to me. Wasn’t excited to receive it, (just based on a price/ml breakdown of a 15 dollar 8 ml decent of a designer fragrance) but I’m pleasantly surprised! Top notes of orange, lime, and ginger with an immediately obvious (and incredibly tenacious) undercurrent of sea salt. I’m talking so salty I can almost feel the crunch of a sea salt crystal on my teeth! It is a mineralic salt, with a metallic tinge, very likely from one of the overwhelmingly popular ambergris aromachemicals. All in all, this is a pleasing and transparent fragrance which fulfills the need for a utilitarian everyday scent.

I love it. I can't stop smelling it. I am not sure why. It's a great, slightly darker fresh scent. It is like I keep going back to smell it to see if I missed something. The salt, citrus, and Amber to me are on equal levels and meld together with this fragrance amd stay true throughout the dry down. It not a beast but will get you through most work days or 4 hrs of active movement. Pleasant enough for work and leisure, interesting enough for night out, but not a sophisticated fragrance for formal events. Honestly, if I describe it, it is a mixture of fresh grass clippings, gasoline, sea salt, and clean soap. So take that for what its worth.

Just got this as my scent of the month from Scentbird. I really didn’t expect a whole lot from this but wow was I surprised to really love it a lot. I couldn’t single out notes at first because it is pretty well blended. I kept wondering why do I like this so much. What accord is in here that is intriguing me? Then it hit me. There is an accord in KC for him that is in CK Escape for men. This is a more modern fresher marine warm weather scent than Escape. Really good. I like it and will rock it this summer for sure. Probably won’t buy a bottle just yet.

Reviewing off a sample; This one actually surprised me. Wasn’t expecting this from a Kenneth Cole fragrance at all! Very uplifting and made me wanna keep smelling it. The amber and sea salt together is an amazing combination. Feels like it would be great juice for a warm summer day. I have a couple Kenneth Cole samples and they all see pretty good. Might be a brand a lot of people need to stop sleeping on. Will definitely be picking up a full bottle of this one!

There is only one disappointment and that is the fact I spent 20 times the price on other fragrances I love but less than this. New Signature.. I will consider advice from those who gave positive reviews on this. I’m beyond baffled and in awe.. Edit: Still great! But I suppose I bore quickly.. I prefer mankind line over this.. probably par with kenneth cole black. Imagine zegna and cole black.

I can only echo all the positve reviews below. A beautiful underrated fragrance, which I wish lasted longer and came in an EDP or Parfum. Nevertheless, you can't go wrong with For Him by Kenneth Cole, and it's cheap as chips! 9/10

This is basically a modernized Tommy, by Tommy Hillfiger. Still......very 90s. Nice, fresh, aromatic, salty. lasts about 4-5 hours max. Good, if you can get it discounted. Do not pay retail!!!.

So, the salt note is the same one that makes kenneth cole blue pop, and last. Outstanding stuff. I have to try the layer fragrances in the line now.

This stuff is great. The dry down is extremely similar to Bleu de chanel EDP. If you see this at a rack store for below 20 bucks, grab it.

Reminds me of Bvlgari Aqva Atlantiqve a little bit. A simple soft fragrance suitable for every occasion. I enjoy that's fragrance there's something alluring a undertone about it. Sometimes I get lite whiffs and it stunning. Longevity is the only thing keeping me from loving it. just ordered samples of the 3 layering fragrances Kenneth Cole recommends to use with this fragrance. Energy, Serenity, and Intensity I'll updated: Energy : Amps up KC with florals. Alone the fragrance goes the same direction as KC but without that alluring salty amber sense. Very causal unisex. Intensity : Makes KC bolder and darker almost turns it oudy. Alone it's a tart coffee note very masculine a little harsh, but works. Serenity : Makes KC more seductive mixes very well with the saltiness of KC. Alone it's a soothing amber vanilla. None I would wear alone they have to be paired with KC for him alone the fragrances lack depth. out of three Serenity is the one I'll be buying a larger bottle of. The layered scent deserves a complete presentation it's very lovely, but all three have their usage. If Kenneth Cole sold them in 30ml. I would definitely purchase all three.

I always have low expectations for scents like these (Sorry, Kenneth Cole). But....Damn I love this stuff! After my first whiff, I bought it. I usually NEVER buy frags at retail cost, but this is one I bought immediately at the store. I am starting to become a Niche-Head, however my love for designers will never die....Specifically because of scents like this one.... Extremely modern, youthful, slightly warm, very sensual and addicting. It starts off with beautiful warm citrus blended with ginger and amber. It's warm, but not too warm. Not great for a hot day, but perfect for the office. This will be great in the Fall, and Im sure I will even wear this in the Winter. The drydown is what is addicting. It's aromatic, which I dont typically like, however, the sea salt is what catches my nose. I cant not smell it. Its very unique for a mass appealing frag. Overall: This is unexpected. I will always love designers. This stuff will garner compliments. Gosh I love this.

My fragrancebro let me borrow his bottle. I get the ginger, citrus and amber; maybe wood and a little white floral somewhere. KCFH has a salty, mineral, synthetic, aquatic vibe that is smooth and well done. This smells very familiar but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe something from the Bvlgari Aqva line? Pleasant, safe, clean shower gel. Performance is soft. I'm only getting around four hours of longevity. This perfume is unisex for spring and summer. I don't find it sexy but it is a crowd pleaser. I'm sure people will think you smell good. Kenneth Cole is one of those brands that I don't give much thought to. You see it in department stores and assume it's just generic, cheap cologne. For Him is generic but it smells nice. Aquatic scents often are headache inducing to me but not this one. It could perform a little better but it's priced appropriately. Not bad Mr. Cole!

Blind bought as I've been a more than moderate fan of Kenneth Cole fragrances in the past. As this for scent, I do like it but performance lacks severely. No less than 8 sprays to shirt and skin this morning and scent was nowhere to be sniffed before lunch time. I am regretting paying full retail and wish I had waited until the discounters get it. For the price I'd rather have something with a similar (IMO) but better performance, such as L'Homme Ultime by YSL.

Underrated blue fragrance very versatile and mass appealing gotten a lot of compliments from woman and other guys too and asked where they can buy it it doesn’t last long though but I spray crazy enough on my clothes to get a little bit of a sillage 7/10

Blind buy for my friend 🎁 He said it smells fresh and soft, his colleagues even complimented it, apparently gives off major ‘situationship’ vibes.

A very safe, simple fragrance. Tried it at Macy’s and wasn’t too impressed.

This wouldn't be my first choice of citrus fragrances, but it is a decent fresh scent with an interesting salty note underneath. This is currently hard to find, but when it was being sold it would've been a great price for a cologne that could easily be considered quality. Good for office-wear and will actually last most of the day unlike many other citrus colognes.

It's an ok daytime office scent. The salt and mineral notes are the most dominate. It's not great but not terrible either. Pick it up from stage closing sell for $30 on a blind buy. Scent 6/10 Sillage 6/10 Performance 5/10

Kenneth Cole for Him is a very traditional fragrance. But for me, it's just too basic. It's probably a great office scent with a nice clean smell that won't rock the boat so long as you don't overspray. It smells presentable and fairly tasteful. But for me, it's really lacking in the creativity department. KCFH just smells like "cologne". I suppose its strength is that it has pretty decent silage. No one is going to think you smell bad. But I don't think there's really enough there for you to express your individuality. For the money, I think Azzaro Chrome is a much better "freshie" option . It's still a popular, mainstream sort of scent with a little more of its own thing going on.

If by salt/metal note you mean, and want, the dry metallic note of a standard "fresh" or "sport" anti-perspirant, then here you go. Good citric opening, but 30 minutes in you smell like you got that just sprayed that anti-perspirant that promises not to stain white undershirts or your wife's little black dress.

Kenneth Cole for Him is a vibrant fragrance with a magnetic contrast of energizing, salty and citrusy top notes and a base of sensual amber.. This fragrance remind me of Paco rabanne Invictus aqua+ Alfred dunhill icon racing+ Montblanc legend spirit.., It's so stong!!

(Ex Machina (2014)) I get the image of typical futuristic humanoid android. Metalic pearl whites, silver, circular and round at the joints where limbs come together. An overall feminine curviness to the body and parts. And like a realistic looking android, you still can tell it's synthetic and something is missing. Cold metallic mineral sweet, with warm woody ambroxan light musk; another nod to a humanoid android. And like in Ex machina that takes place in the woods - that juxtaposition of smooth modern artificial, and rough nature, rugged forest and mountains. Synthetic, but in a pretty good way. But so synthetic, it feels almost as if the notes are reverse engineered/decided, as if this blend of synthetic sweetnesses just so happens to smell similar to citrus or jasmine, so lets just say it's that. The sweet saltiness is almost like a non-tropical Tommy Bahama feel. I'm not sure how much this scent is meant to be stand alone (complex, lol), or meant to be used in conjunction with those other 'flavors' (Intensity, Serenity, Energy). But indeed, it does smell very base'y, like it's missing the interesting notes, or third of a chord. But it stands enough on it's own to function for all purpose. It's the base android body before you add any human features or clothing.

After you spray this you immediately smell sweet citrus and light ginger balanced with amber and I can also detect the sea salt which blends and balances the sweetness. After about 10 minutes the flower also shows up. This kinda reminds me of YSL L’homme because of the sweer ginger. Ginger note is really nice for summer colognes if blended properly like YSL L’Homme and Dior Homme Sport 2012, they give a cooling effect on my brain. This is great for hot summer days and nights as usual with designers, this will be a crowd pleaser and safe for office. One of the best Kenneth Cole release in my opinion. I will update this on the longevity tomorrow. Let me wear it for a whole day first, but I’m really enjoying this. If you’re tired of the ambroxan mania today from Sauvage, Dylan Blue, Coach, Atlantique etc. this one is for you. 9/10 For Great Smell Edit: It last 5-6 hours on my skin which to me is ok. I always carry a decant for any of my colognes if I’m going for more than 3 hours and I am a smoker.

Wow, upon first spray you are hit with the strong citrus and metallic notes. As it continues to dry down, I was instantly transported back to the small country church I went to in the early 90s. The church was old, with a glittery popcorn ceiling and wood panel walls in the rooms. This fragrance reminds me of the smell of those rooms. There must’ve been some kind of citrus air freshener the ladies in the church used and mixed with the wood paneling it gave off the same exact smell I get from this cologne. I must say, it is a comforting scent. As it dries down, it becomes even more woody and masculine.

This is fan-flippin-tastic. Its masculine and slightly bold, without being overwhelming. It lasts for a crazy long time on my skin. Its that mineral saltiness that I think I am liking the most. There are so many scents out there that are similar right now, and so far I don't know any other comparable fragrance to this. The citruses are not over pronounced which is nice. I am honestly burnt out on traditional citrus for men, it is way played out across the board. So kudos to this one for not going that route. This WILL be my hubby's next gift scent.

Picked up a sample of this at Dillard's last week. I've worn it a couple of times now. The dry down is very similar to Kenneth Cole Reaction T-Shirt. I honestly can't really find anything good or bad to say about it. It's probably the most uninteresting fragrance I've encountered in a long time. I usually have very strong opinions, but I'm totally indifferent to this. Boring.

There are very few fragrances that turn my stomach, but the ones that do leave an impression. Issey Miyake's L'eau Majeure d'Issey is one of them. Imagine that fragrance done by Zara and that's pretty much what you get here. Incredibly similar scent.

blind bought a tester bottle just cause it was dirt cheap even for a KC fragrance but this fragrance just has no character what so ever. very safe and boring smell which kindda last for a couple of hours max only. not even worth the discounters price

It does not smell like la nuit de l'homme but it is in the same category with that fresh spiciness. Bottle also sort of reminds me of it too. This one is more masculine though. Give it a try. I may pick up a bottle. Didn't test performance yet.

Some will find this to be pretty generic, but it’s got this uplifting yet cozy quality about it that keeps me coming back for more. I can see this really garnering compliments too although the performance is meh so overspraying is a must.

Big fan of this one for daytime, daily use. Especially for summer. Smells fresh out the shower scent, unisex but slightly on the masculine side. I love it. Can be used as a base for a nighttime, club scent.

I like this Warm, cosy, i detect ambroxan combined with appears to be jasmine and ginger. Clean and inoffensive In the drydown is kind of similar vibe (not too much though) with Le Beau, JPG.

This is the viva la juicy pour homme if there ever was one. Most sweet mens perfumes are cloying but this one isnt so bad

Hmmm...it doesn't appear to be similar in composition to either Sauvage or Invictus, so I'm cautiously optimistic.
