Flower By Kenzo Cherry Poppy

Now this is pretty! Very pretty... perfect for spring and summer. I tested Indigo and Cherry Poppy today. Some good sprays on each under arm about 3 hrs ago. Indigo is still there, but definitely far less prominent than CP. Now that I come here and checking the notes as there was one I wouldn’t really place, which seems to be Nympheal. Never smelled it before but it’s beautiful, nothing complicated but just very pretty floral smell with a whim of freshness which is a bit aquatic. Obviously is a bit powdery like any Kenzo out there, but this one a bit less. It opens with a whim of cherry which reminded me more of cherry blossom and some strawberry sweetness and then beautifully blends with the rose and Nympheal. While typing I think that’s what you wanna think of; Nymphs, a water nymph, like a mermaid 🧜♀️ that’s what I think of when I smell it...gracious, pretty, sweet floral but with a hint of aquatic freshness. I think I will add this to my collection soon. I am impressed and I need something to replace my almost empty bottle of Issey Miyake - Shades of Kolam, which I love to wear in summer, but unfortunately is discontinued and I am getting similar vibes from it. I would definitely recommend checking it out! UPDATE: went back to the store and gave myself some proper sprays with my scarf.. hours later still there! And then it clicked; I think I have found my dupe for Chloe Love Eau Florale! Of course it’s not identical but it comes very close! 💞 this one might be a bit sweeter but overall very similar!

Joyful, sweet fruits served with the elegance of the original, yet with a touch more playfulness. Feminine, charming, and well-balanced. Quiet and intimate on the skin, in a distinctly Japanese way, lasting all day. A beautiful fragrance and a worthy member of the Flower family.

Tried it in the store today. Smelled very nice and perfect for spring! Fresh, gentle. Might actually getting it 😇 Update: I got it! Very youthful and flirty smelling, fruity, perfect for spring 🌸🍒

Opening: love it! Makeup powder & red cherry lipstick (not waxy) in a bag from the 90s with the elegance of the 40s. I get the cherry, a bit of pink rose, & minimal strawberry - very nostalgic, romantic, elegant and vintage. It's not sweet, but it implies sweetness. Then: the original kenzo DNA takes over, while it keeps that nostalgic romantic twist somehow. End and dry down: a softer, romantisized version of the original kenzo with an impression of the opening - only an impression. Whatever this Nympheal is, it's sadly overpowering imo. I wish the opening was present till the end. Unfortunately, it almost dissapears after 2-3 min, therefore I won't buy it; at least no full price. I like it much better than the original, though.

I just got a sample of this. On first spritz, it smells similar to Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl Elixir. But completely different dry down. I've never smelled other Kenzo perfumes before, so forgive me I can't give comparison. Projection: Medium Dry down: Soft musk, cherry and little bit of rose. Overall rating: 7/10 I usually avoid perfumes with musk, I find it to be suffocating and masculine. However, I'm fine with white musk as it smells soft and warm. I'll get a bottle of this, when it's on discount. I wouldn't pay full price.

Pretty cherry blossom. Cheery and uplifting. Perfect for spring summer. Doesn’t last very long but not one I think you would get sick of. Just a nice, light, feminine fragrance. Glad that I sampled it but it’s not a scent for me (and my black heart).

Such a fab spritz for spring/summer. I don’t distinguish any strawberry here, it’s mainly muted cherry blossom with a very inoffensive elegant rose. Nothing beats the original but it’s a likable flanker.

Less powdery than the OG, the first spray is kinda similar but honestly I don't smell any strawberries or cherries. Cherry blossom, 100%. It's a nice, feminine spring time scent, doesn't try too hard be something it's not. On me it's very similar to My Way Nectar. Not the scent but the vibe is kinda like Bright Crystal. And it's the kind of perfume I wouldn't go out of my way to get but if someone would gift it to me, I'd be quite happy to use it.

I got this recently as a tester. At first spray to me it smells like fundip or those powder lollipops... cherry powder candy basically. It's ok, fun... but the dry down is not as pleasant for me at least. I also get a faint smell of hair dye or what ever chemicals you smell at the hair dressers. Acid and sour. But it's very faint. Maybe something to do with skin ph... it is hot right now here. I'll try it again on a cold day.

Flower with something on top for 10 minutes, after which it morphed into the cloying, lacquered, haunting odor of cheap permanent hair dye. help!

To me it smells very... generic? Nothing like the original Flower by Kenzo I based my expectations on the original, and this has disappointed me

It starts like a lollypop candy, quite sweet and joyful, but the middle notes are totally violet candies (even though violet is not listed among the main notes). On blotter it smells like a powdery violet scented laundry softener, and it also keeps something from the original Kenzo Flower. It is very nice, as long as you like this kind of scents.

I agree with one of the reviews below, to me the opening is fresh and fizzy, after 1 hour it gives violet candy, similar to Insolence from Guerlain but if you added musk on top of it. It's not bad but I'm a bit sad that the nice cherry note from the opening fades so quickly.

ok tested this last week, I do see the comparison with Chloe, Love eau florale you will get the 70% of the DNA~
