Flower by Kenzo Eau de Toilette (2021)

I have absolutely no idea if this eau de toilette existed before or not! 😉🥰 What I do know, is that I have been kind of very stubborn about never trying a flanker of Kenzo Flower... because I just love the original so much. And I can be a little irritated at the endless flankers of Everything. But today I fell for it... couldn’t resist the bottles at display, when I bought me some nail treatment and spring nail colour. I tried it, paid for my polishes, went thirteen metres on my way out to the sunshine... and came no further. I just had to go back... And sitting at home this same evening, I’m so glad I fell for it. This one is perfection in the same way as the original - makes me think and say: Hey!! 😍 Where have you been all my life? !! This is just Me. The original is more powder and a bit more for colder seasons, in my realm, and this one is more creamy and a bit more for warmer seasons. They are different from eachother, but they are alike in their soft womanly delightful bliss of being all satisfied, calm and content. I am so happy!! As much as a fragrance can give you happiness..?🌱🌸🌺 A few days later - I have to add this: reminds me quite a lot about the lovely creams and deodorants and powder, which my big sister had when I was a small child in the sixties... the golden era of classy style, if you ask me! Think Audrey Hepburn...

There are moments when I listen to my breath. I do it in silence, almost always without incense. If a perfume reaches me it’s usually mild. A sweet breath, a puff of talc that gently lies on the glass, a feather carried by the wind. These are the images, this what Flower by Kenzo edt 2021 is. I estemate this fragrance because I love the ethereal and transparency, although after a shower with a stick of soap I still perceive a trail. If to me there's only a slight resemblance to the old edt is only towards the end. In new 2021 the bitter and the zesty citric side always predominates, perhaps due to the lemon that overcomes roses. If your habit is to not overlapping other fragrances, after a few hours you'll sense it lies on a warm bouquet, recalling the classic version. Flower in the Air is also a recall although more powdery. New Flower by Kenzo edt isn't so powdery. It spreads citrus the entire life, and dusts the well-known carmine poppy petals on the bottle cap of thin white and silver powder, beautifully.

My collection of perfumes it's growing every month. This is such a beautiful find.I never considered Kenzo trying most because of the bottle design, which I find little tacky. This scent is a-maz-ing. It has a soft sensuality and I find it suitable for a daydreamer or a very creative person. Stunning! My congrats to Alberto 💖💗

HEY there Fragrantica!! Listen please!!!! I have tried countless times since you changed the page, to add what perfume I am currently wearing!! It does NOT work! So irritated - this was one of the fun things to do!! Please fix!!!!!

Absolute powder heaven. Musk is one of my favourite notes and this perfume nails it without making it too overpowering or out of place. Smells clean and fresh, definitely one of my signatures

Soft, warm and creamy. I love it so much!! The perfect fragrance to wear every day - feels like a hug and makes you feel safe! Even appropriate to wear near little kids.

I got a little tester of this. Tbh I can't really distinguish all that many notes here. It's super soft, clean and wispy. Gentle musk and a faint idea of vanilla "dominate". There's a touch of powder too and a most timid soft floral note. The little sweetness I get is VERY understated. If I smelled this on a woman I might wonder if she just uses a very fancy soap. The woman who wears this in my mind has a perfect French pedicure at all times, not one greasy strand of hair on her head and her blouse/sweater/dress always seems like just out of the cleaning. That woman that I always hope I could be, but my inner slob just won't let me ;) Frankly this strikes me as a 100% safe dumb reach for every day, doesn't matter if for office, school or just for hanging out at home. Inoffensive, but instantly upping your perceived self-grooming skills by at least 30%. It doesn't tickle my perfume pickle quite enough to strike at full price, but if I saw a good offer on it - say 40-50% off - I'd absolutely pick up a bottle. Strong like from me!

This scent reminds me of a mother. She's cleaning the house while she smiles lovingly at you. This is a soft, clean, fresh and kind perfume. It smells completely different compared to the original Flower by Kenzo perfume, but it's nice! This would be a great perfume to alternate with during warmer days!

I exchanged this perfume for my perfume "dalì" and I adore it! It's inoffensive and not necessarily a signature fragrance, but to me it smells quite divine. Just very powdery and flowery, for sure a save blind buy if that's what you're looking for.

This was my first ever fullsize purchase. I normally do not like powdery scent but something in this one.... just hits me differently. I think it's the pepper note -- almost gives me a "minty/spicy" feel and it's very addicting.

I see there are a lot of questions about this new Flower EDT, and even though I have never tried the old Flower EDT I hope I can help a little. I made a make-up purchase at Douglas a while ago and got this as a free surprise sample additional to the samples I chose. It came with a big cardboard ad. So this is definitely marketed as a completely new fragrance in the Flower lineup. Now to the scent: This is not that similar to Flower EDP. Most notably it has no violet and no overdose of powder. It's a clean floral musk on my skin. There is a little zing from the lemon and ginger in the opening, but not much. This isn't a fruity scent, I can't detect any lychee. I do detect the mimosa, a little powdery, a little sharp and sunny, and a light layer of dewy rose. There's some vanilla in the background, but the base is mainly musk, roughly in the same ballpark as the musk in Cacharel Noa. It's a nice, inoffensive scent that I feel rather lukewarm about. This is relatively light and close to the body, it could easily be worn to any workplace and is especially suitable for spring. I just feel like it could have a little more personality, but I'm sure someone else will find something special in it.

smells elegant, citrusy and slightly sweet. the powdery smell is also nice. would be my perfect spring fragrance if it wasnt so faint. go girl, give us nothing!! i know its expected for an EDT, but still. at least the bottle is cute.

Smells nice, but I'm not blown away

This is stronger on ginger-dislike right away from my nose, other notes-chamomile-rose-lemon -patchouli. No mimosa at all. Kenzo Takada r.i.p. Hope they don't destroy what you built.

In my experience, this perfume tends to be overpowering, veering into an excessively powdery aroma that, unfortunately, becomes nauseating

I bought this thinking it was the original. It's a completely different fragrance although. It's awful. It starts out with some pretty flowers and green stems. After about 15 minutes, the flowers fade into a screeching citrus and fruit spritzer... with an aquatic feel. 20 minutes in, and the whole fragrance becomes increasingly acrid, before diving head long into soured vomitus. It's completely unwearable. There's some type of fruit in this fragrance that turns to vomit on my skin.

Picked this up at my local Savers (UK “drugstore” for those who aren’t aware) as I wanted to try a new Kenzo scent and not many shops here stock them. And it was love at first spray :) Smells very powdery and citrusy, almost like a teardrop. Not heavy or cloying at all, instead feels very refreshing. Perfect for spring and summer (haven’t tried it in colder weather but I’m sure it’d smell great then too). My favourite Kenzo scent, even more so than the OG flower.

This Flower EDT is powdery from the first spritz but it's light and a bit sweet. Remind me of soft and cuddly pink body/baby powder which is also innocent. I can't detect any citrus notes in the opening just straight powdery but not heavy at all. in the drydown I can sense some green notes. Overall it's a safe blindbuy (like me) and the scent made me feel nostalgic for me, something that is carefree, soft for the days.

The first spray immediately reminds my of Noa by Cacharel. Flower edt has a more citrusy and fresh opening compared to Noa, also more floral forward and more balmy in its dry down. Noa is creamier, sweeter, more lotion-like, and overall more rounded. I like them both.

I like it but I don't know why. It smells like some retro musky perfume, not unique, doesn't stand out but somehow nice and clean. I also like citrus notes which keep this frag from being too powdery and "sweaty".

Doesn’t remind me of the EDP, but definitely reminds me of something I’ve smelled 10 years ago that I miss smelling. Gonna eat at me as to what it reminds me of.

Soft, a bit powdery and clean. Much better than the edp. It’s feminine and inoffensive, and versatile. It’s something for a sweet and romantic woman.

To me this smells like Chanel no 5 l’eau. Nothing groundbreaking but if you love soapy rosy and a little vintage fragrances than you will like this.

I'm pretty sure that Kenzo Flower EDT has always existed. What is new with this?

literally 100% baby powder. there is no floral scent just baby powder.
