Flower Tag

In the year 2000, Kenzo Parfums launched Flower by Kenzo Eau de Parfum, which became the trademark fragrance of the house. Since then, numerous versions have been released, always bringing the poppy as a source of inspiration. In 2011, the Flower Tag Eau de Toilette fragrance was launched, having the free and urban art of graphite as a starting point. In the last decades, graphite has been reflecting the rebellious and creative side of young people around the world. In this universe, every artist has its own brand (signature) or, as it is called, its TAG. According to the company, Flower Tag EDT represents spontaneous, free and courageous women and was meant to be a new vision of the 2000’s classic. It has notes of mandarin, blackcurrant and rhubarb, in the head; Jasmine, lily of the valley and peony, in the body; Tea, vanilla and white musk, in the bottom. On the skin, Flower Tag is a delight, which respects the DNA of the line and confers an air of modernity, thanks to the addition of rhubarb. When the fragrance is applied, that floral output of yesteryear is softened by the green and aromatic facets of rhubarb. In the official press-releases, the company talks about the sour and sweet content of this ingredient, but I did not feel it. On my skin, the sweetest scent came from the blackcurrant and the exit was juicy and jovial, as if it were the vibrant colors of a graphite on the wall. Then, the floral and powerful heart of the original version comes back with full force, now redesigned and bringing the peony in the place of the rose, in addition to the jasmine, which returns to its position with all its raw and powdery content. And to create a distinctive effect, the base gained lightness thanks to the note of tea, which replaced the incense. Kenzo Flower TAG is an Eau de Toilette worthy of the brand, which exudes and lasts tirelessly, surpassing many Eau de Parfum fragrances that I have already known. It is this intensity that is lacking in Flower by Kenzo Légère, which is also an EDT. Another important aspect to be commented on is the versatility of the fragrance. Although the bottle is red and conveys the idea of a more sensual and even nocturnal perfume, Flower Tag is extremely adaptable, not too aggressive for the day and sensual enough for the night. And since I mentioned the bottle, the famous poppy is now painted in white graphite. In 2012, Flower Tag won its first variation, an intense version with a more gourmand base and with Eau de Parfum concentration. In it, the details of the bottle are dark. But this is subject for another review! Flower Tag Eau de Toilette made Kenzo's trajectory gain new ground and reinvented the story of the poppy, the singular flower that lives in the city.

This is an amazing, shapeshifting fragrance it manages to embrace a whole spectrum of qualities. The first splash is very fresh, invigorating, nonchalant and contemporary - more floral, fruity, summery with Cassis and rhubarb making a zesty entrance which sweet mandarin softens. Almost immediately a voluptuous bouquet of Peony and Lilly of the valley and jasmine - give "substance", depth. But then there is something else - which makes it stand out from all the other fashionable "aquatic" florals out there at the moment: The dry down is to-die-for, about 2 or three minutes into the experience a very sophisticated and sensual vanilla, which blends well with the musk and a lingering hint of jasmine - perfume the skin with a very luxurious and long lasting scent that just stands out and makes one sniff again and again. The base is an ever-so-soft allusion to the original Flower by Kenzo and is sort of the main motif, or the signature on a piece of art - subtle yet it makes all the differnce! :) Sillage is excellent and on the clothes the floral heart 7 hours after splashing is still very much there - on the wrists there is the lovely warmth of the base. I LOVE this scent, I only got a sample but will definitely look into buying this - perfect summer fragrance with lots of unique character and more sophistication than the title description would suggest. A scent that allows you to linger on the threshold between girl and lady...head and heart...and a very, very sensual place

Dood whoever said this smells like flower, they mustnt be familiar like it at all. And I don't mean familiar in a nice way. I'VE BEEN BOMBARDED WITH FLOWER MY WHOLE LIFE. I H A T E IT! I despise with every inch of life that clings to my body. Thankfully the only notes that Tag and the original share are VANILLA and WHITE MUSK everybodyyyyyyyy! The opening in Tag smells like the drydown of Elle by YSL, then the vanilla takes over, the rhubarb and black currant give some raspberry feel to it, the muguet adds creaminess, yes, you may catch a few whiffs of the OG, but I hardly doubt it, since it didn't make me jump out of the window. This is flower, completely subdued and terribly chic, if you let Tag get to you, it can become your power-suit, your confidence enhancer, this has attitude, it's not in-your-face harsh, it's not strong or bitchy, it's delicate and lovely, but you wouldn't dare play with it. It's just. Wundebar. Don't get fooled by names, sometimes flankers are way better/ more complex/ captivating/ interesting than the originals. Don't dismiss them, give them a chance to make a name for themselves :) ETA: I remember I thought this had patchouli, only to realize the tea tree/leaves are the ones that give that feeling, plus they avoid the body-odor-like accord and imprint certain warm-like quality to Tag.

So glad I bought a full bottle of this before my 'no-buy' period. This has became a favourite for me. I haven't tried the original Flower in its perfume form, but I've tried both the shower cream and the body milk. Even in its shower cream and body milk form, the smell was still a little too overwhelming for me. Not so for Flower Tag though. I think of this as Flower's fun-loving younger cousin. You can see the resemblance, but they are very different in personality. Flower is one who isn't afraid to stand out, while Flower Tag is one who is happy being in a crowd. She is no wall-flower but it takes a little more effort to notice her. And once noticed, you'll quickly fall for her vivaciousness. If you're looking for a fruity floral with personality, this would be it.

I have to admit this reminds me of the original... But this is WAAAY better! I strongly dislike Flower because it's too sweet, too powdery, too flowery - just too much!! But this is fresher and more daring. It's definitely for younger women (maybe even girls) who are creative and rebellious, who want the world to know about them. I love graffiti because to me it is the only art in which the new generation truly expresses itself. The notes are carefully picked, the bottle is gorgeous, the scent is great. Scent: 10/10 - really amazing Lasting power: 7/10 - OK. Bottle: 10/10 - awesome and easy to use!!! Bottom line: I'd recommend this for people who feel creative inspiring and different in a good way - and for the young in heart.

I love the original Flower and i love kenzo summer (now discontinued) and perfume dete, so kenzo is a perfume house i trust. At first i find this little number pleasant but not 'wow'. it grows on me however. it is still not 'wow' but it is the perfume i like very very much. The slight green then juicy fruity start (that never turns to sweet like many recent creatures) then it is floral heart with sparkling sour juicy note still presents. It dries down into very very slight powderly fruity vanilla smell. It lasts about 4 hours on skin and more than 10 on clothes. i cannot stop smell my wrist. So i know this is a real deal. after i check here i understand why, blackcurrant, jasmine, peony, tea and vanilla are my favouite notes.

Very Sexy and feminine and seductive frangrance. I had smelled this one last year. Not sure if I sampled the EDT or the EDP? I really liked it back then but ended up purchasing Armani Code. Recently on vacation, I had to opportunity to smell it again and liked it very much. Today I found it on sale and could not resist myself. It's an intoxicating scent that is sweet with a vanilla and floral heart. It' also got a candy smell to it with a bit of powder. The vanilla is very prominent so if you like vanilla you need to give this one a try. Addictive. I own the EDT and have been wearing it for only a few hours. I will have to report back on the staying power and silage but so far I'm in Love!

I got this one as a gift from my hubby. He blind bought it in Paris, and got the really big one... the 100ml long bottle. Fortunately, I LOVED it, I so loved it that it became my signature scent. The white flowers work perfectly on my skin, the peony is so lovely, fresh and vibrant it makes me happy every time I wear it. I love the lasting power, if I spray in the morning I still get whiffs of it from my clothes and hair at night. Before I got my first bottle I had worn the original Flower which I like but not love, it's too powdery on me. Tag doesn't get powdery, it stays fresh and sparkling, which is probably the green tea. All in all, I love this scent, it's perfect for me!!!!!

This is beautiful, got it as a present yesterday (a little 4ml bottle) and I'm very fussy and usually hate florals, but I love this. It's fresh and sensual, very sexy and not too heavy. The bottle is absolutely beautiful too, love the shape. The drydown is quite alot like the original Flower, which I find too linear and powdery. Like I said before, this has a gorgeous sparkly fizzy sensual top. Stays pretty close to the skin but longevity is really good. I'm hoping she buys me a bigger bottle for Xmas as this ain't gonna last long ;-)

This is not my usual kind of scent, but something about it captivated me. I tried the original flower several times in sephora, kinda liked it in some odd way but always was always turned off after a while by the harsh powdery smell. But when I finally tried this, I knew this was perfect for me. Slightly fruity slightly floral with a nice hint of that powdery clean note. It's a nice sensual summer scent that has impressive longevity for its subtleness.

This is such a lovely perfume! Refreshing, floral and powdery at the same time, it's a perfect compromise for girls who are looking for something sophisticated but not too classy. Flower Tag is very youthful but feminine, cheerful with sillage of sensuality, makes me smile and feel confident. Love it!

This was a blind buy and my first Kenzo fragrance. This is vivacious and evokes sophistication and fun. The opening completely hooked me and the dry down makes me want to wear this often. Summer humidity and heat makes it less fruity and more floral. This is a keeper for spring.

Kenzo Tag!!!....This fragrance blew my mind!!!...Oh My Gosh, this is Gorgeous, Very Elegant, classy and femimine, it stayed on my skin for hours and hours...I just could not help but continuously smell this beautiful scent on my wrist...I love it!!!...

Flower tag gathers everything Original Flower misses and discards all it should get rid off... Youthful, feminine completely modern suits all ocasions. Try before buying; it won ́t suit everyone.

This scent is driving me crazy, since i first smelt it in a store, I asked then for a sample bottle, what a perfume !! wow, really amazing,so enchanting ... I gotta have it !!

HUGE rhubarb opening then peony, LOTV and musk present. If you love rhubarb like I do, this is perfection.

More wearer friendly then Kenzo Flower but certainly can tell it's a relative :) At first it's slighty bitter , very green and reminds me of the original Flower combined with CK'S Truth . What an odd combination ! Then it settles into a rather light floral with just a hint of the original's powdery note . Lily of the Valley being the predominant floral note. Sillage & longevity a little on the weak side.

The opening of this youthful scent is sweet and fruity, with a background that resembles the original Flower by Kenzo. So, at first, I loved it, thought that the mixture with the background and top notes was unique and the blend very promising. The background notes then begin to take over and the order of notes is inverted. I think the perfume is just amazing and smells better than the original Flower.
