Kenzo Homme Boisee

Kenzo + Polge = Success. Kenzo made it again!. "Kenzo pour homme boisee" is an aromatic/spicy and soft, woody gorgeous scent. This new fragrance is supposed to be a flanker to the 1991′s "KenzoHomme" They have nothing at all in common (the only real similarity being the shape of the bottle and a salty trail). That doesn't mean that it will be a big dissapointment for all the original "KenzoHomme" lovers like me, as long as they don't expect something as unique as the 1991's original. It starts fresh and slightly spicy. There is a lively explosion of a salty refined vetiver, sexy mint and a background of spicy basil. The herbal side of mint and basil is fresh and brilliantly light yet intens. Even though, it never becomes overpowering. Being honest, at this stage, I was afraid, as the opening really blew my mind and I was scared, presuming that it could react as "Tokyo", when, after the top notes, the whole perfume lost all the character. This is not happening in "Kenzo Boisée": the mint accompained by the glorious vetiver shows their presence all the way through, so the perfume becomes rather linear but deliciously addictive. During the heart and the drydown, the linear formula changes a little with the soft, airy, light cedar accord. Here, the wood seems almost secondary, where the previous notes from earlier reign above all. So this is not a deep woody perfume as it has been advertised (Thank God). If you are looking for a real, light wood scent, you better go and sample the CDG "Wonderwood". "Kenzo pour Homme boisée" is a magnificent, well put together fragrance. Yes, it is salty but not as the original one, and also it is spicy and woody but nothing like "Jungle Homme". It has the perfect balanced amount of very carefully (and intelligently) chosen ingredients By Polge. Some people will compare it with the original and it will probably receive bad reviews without justice because they may find it a little mainstream compared to any other of the Kenzo's fragrance line. I have to agree, but also, I'm happy to say that this new launch will have success in terms of being the best mainstream launch of this year for two simple reasons: 1. Polge always made great perfumes and this one is not an exception. 2. It leads us eventually to the woodiness side that everyone expects, making the scented trip really memorable. "Boiséé" is not as loud as "KenzoHomme" and not as quiet as "Power". It has its own place in the middle, having a distinctive projection and a really good lasting power.

بهترین کار بهاری که از بوش سیر نمیشید من از همون سالی که تو ایران لانچ شده خریدم تا به الان ..فقط دو سالی میشه که سخت پیدا میشه احتمالا توقف تولید شده باشه...ولی کار خیلی خوبیه تکراری نیست....شروعش مرکباتی نیست فلفلیه..خیلی سبز نیست ولی شدیدا مرطوب و جنگلی و خاکی است...تو این چند سال مشابهش رو نتونستم تو هیچ برندی پیدا کنم ...عطر امضام شد و یه جورایی منو با این رایحه میشناسن دوستان و اقوام نزدیکان.....ترکیباتش بنظرم خیلی طبیعیه و کمتر از مواد مصنوعی استفاده شده..کلا کنزو کارای خوب، طبیعی و استانداردی داره..کنزو تاکادا روحش‌شاد باشه...مهمترین اصل بین ما ایرانیا هنگام خرید عطر (حدود هشتاد درصدمون) ماندگاری و پخش بوی عطر که باید بگم : ماندگاریش روی پوست من فوق العاده هست و حدود ده ساعت میمونه خیلی بالانس خوبی داره تغییر نت هاش مشهوده و خسته کننده نیست نشر بو هم تا دوساعت اول عالیه .... در کل پخش بوش خوب و راضی کنندس...هر جا که زدم، پرسیدن که چی زدی ...امتیاز من به این عطر ۹/۵ از ۱۰ عین عطرای خنک دیگه تکراری نیست نه تو تاپ نت نه میدل نت و نه تو نت پایانی ....داخل پرانتز یه چیزی بگم (نت پایانی این عطر دقیقا مشابه عطر لایتون از برند پرفیوم دی مارلی میباشد)....جنگل بارون خورده درختای خیس خاک مرطوب....پنجاه درصد بهاری ،بیست درصد تابستونی،پانزده درصد زمستان و پانزده درصد پاییز.....کاشکی قیمتا برگرده و این عطر بدون ریفرموله شدن مجدد تولید انبوه بشه....موفق باشد با احترام with love💙💚💙💚

Kenzo Homme Woody (also called Kenzo Boisée in some countries) was released in 2010, inspired by the look and the connection of the man with the energy of the earth and the immensity of the sky, as if he was the tallest tree, in a path with no limits. It is almost unknown and poorly commented. But it is a masterpiece of perfumery that, unfortunately, is no longer manufactured. It has notes of mint and basil, in the output; Rosemary and pepper from Madagascar, in the heart; Haiti vetiver and Atlas cedar, in the base. When it touches the skin is minty and sweet. This freshness merges with a completely aromatic nuance, dotted by a touch of pepper. The base is woody, with greater presence of cedar and its camphorated and balsamic nuances. To me, it seems that the vetiver doesn't even exist. During the evolution, it can makes you remember many other creations. In my case, I think of Burberry The Beat. The bottle kept the visual identity, in a mix of gray and amber colors, which resembles wood. In my opinion, is one of those fragrances without defects: is versatile, is elegant, exudes well, has great durability and, furthermore, was made by Olivier Polge.

I'm revisiting this one years after I first got it and I must say it's turned out to be one of my most successful blind buys. I love how the mint and spices in the opening contrast with the woody base and keep it from being too earthy or dry. It's a green and woody fragrance for sure but has an invigorating quality to it. I enjoy wearing it on my evening walks during the summer and fall. These older Kenzo fragrances from the 2000s and 2010s all had so much character, it's too bad they all got discontinued. The new line created by Quentin Bisch gets generally good reviews but got boring to me pretty quickly.

Once upon a time, I had this beautiful, masculine, woody fragrance. Ever since, I've never been able to find a pure woodsy scent that excites me as much as this. It is an easy first adventure into woodier scents for those less familiar, as both the spices (basil, mint, rosemary) and cedar notes used here are safe and complimentary to a lot of skin tones. If memory serves - it's been a few years since I've run out of this one, sadly - silage and longevity are comfortably powerful without being too domineering. This is an incredibly "manly" scent in the bearded lumberjack sort of way.
