Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense

Sometimes brands and their creative departments are generally lazy, and in this case the name of the perfume will create mixed feelings because it implies that this is a recreation of the classic and pioneering perfume of the 90 ́s. Saying that, please, approach this new perfume with 0 hype and you'll enjoy this new release, so don't think of it as a recreation of the classic Kenzo pour Homme. This has its own ADN. So unique in a way but yet, brings me a nostalgic feel of great perfumes out there, without being an obvious copycat. I like it, a lot! This is gorgeous. I've got my bottle today and I am already adicted. This is nothing like any other boring, recent launches. This could be the son of Mugler's womanity and Salvatore Ferragamo pour Homme. Salvatore Ferragamo was a green, lovely fig leaf based with woods and Womanity is a great recreation: a juxtapostion of sweet and sour with unusual notes. Kenzo Homme Intense is the balance of both. It is true that it focuses on calypsone (and I have not had the pleasure of smelling it separately) although, in here, I believe it's recreated in a more acidic, less sweet tone. In truth, reading the notes, one expects a sweet, aquatic and synthetic perfume, and while it is true that there is some sweetness on it (very little) it reminds me a lot of the sparkling and even bitter of a citrus. Grapefruit, in fact. This molecule translates into a persistent, bitter grapefuit like note going on (bitter citrus) in balance with a watery / salty accord and a juicy fig leaf note. To the point that, if this would launch as Mugler's "Womanity pour homme" I would believe it. There are also some woods, a nice, green vetiver touch in here, for sure, but the perfume is (in my skin) a bitter, yet fruity, little aquatic / little salty twist. The bottle is blue, but the right colour to represent its smell could be a yellow...This is sun, this is summer but this is not heavily aquatic. I think its unfair to label it as aquatic. There is aquatic undertones, but again, I clarify, the dominant notes are bitter citrus + watery sparkling undertones + fig leaves + vetiver + soft woods. Bitter yet slightly sweet. Savory. I highly recommend it. It's quite versatile, both for day and night, spring and summer. I am curious to try this in winter. I think, I will be happily surprised! It doesn't project masively but you'll get noticed. Saying that it leaves behind a nice trail / sillage for at least 3/4 hours. The longetivy is great. +7 hours and even more if the perfume lays in your clothes. Another great perfume from Kenzo. Thumbs up!

Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense is actually very good, especially if you enjoy that salty, woody, aquatic vibe. It opens with sea notes and pink pepper and that combination gives it a fresh but slightly sharp marine character. What makes it interesting is that it does not smell like a basic blue shower gel fragrance. It has more texture, more salt, more wood and a slightly rougher masculine edge. The fig, vetiver and sandalwood are what make it feel smoother and more wearable after the opening. It smells like salty skin after a long day by the sea, but with dry woods and a spicy breeze in the background. Performance is also quite good (solid 6 hours), especially for a fresh aquatic fragrance and it lasts long enough to actually feel useful instead of disappearing before you leave the house. For me, this is a great summer fragrance, but not in a boring “fresh and clean” way. It has character. It feels casual enough for daily wear, but still distinctive enough to stand out. Performance is also quite solid for this type of scent, especially considering how many aquatic fragrances disappear after five minutes. Definitely a safe blind buy. Overall, Kenzo Homme EDT Intense is a very good salty woody aquatic fragrance unlike most summer designer fragrances that think a blue bottle and the word “Aqua” count as a creative direction.

I already own and love the 2022 EDP and having tested the Intense at the airport I purchased a 60ml. There are similarities to the EDP particularly in the dry down however this one starts off sharper and fresher (not to say that the EDP does not have freshness in it). There is a mentholated quality in the top which quickly gives way to a slightly salty, spicey, aromatic sandalwood along with the patchouli-like Akigalawood base. Performance is very good both in projection and longevity and this coupled with the spiciness means that it can be worn in hot or cold weather (much like the EDP). It harks back to 90s style fragrances (whilst still being modern) which for me is a positive. It is a bit different to most designer offerings at the moment and it is quite strong. Strong performance in a fragrance, I think makes it more versatile as the number of sprays can be adjusted according to environment, meaning that it can be suitable for outdoor or indoor (eg office) use. I don't think it is a polarising fragrance and I think most people would like it - it is just that it is different to much of what is out there these days. On balance I prefer the EDP due to its increased density and darkness however I also like this one a lot and I would happily keep both in my collection. All in all an excellent release at a reasonable price!

Absolutely nuclear performance. I sprayed this on a hoodie of mine over a month ago, I have washed it 3 times since then and I can still smell this on there. The strongest and longest lasting fragrance I own besides Amber Oud Gold. It's a very unique fragrance, woody and tropical. I find most men's Summer frags tend to be dominated by citrus and light florals, this goes in a completely different direction. Opening with strong minerality and sea notes over mids of fig, light green mintiness and some juicy melon rine tones (not overly sweet melon). The sandalwood base is powerful, creamy, and commanding and blends perfectly with the patchouli. I love a a great sandalwood accord, most fragrances tend to be very light with the sandalwood, but it's very thick and prominent with this fragrance. Those base notes really anchor the fragrance and allow it to be used year round in my opinion. The sandalwood and patchouli are so rich and delightful that they punch through cold weather just as well as hot. This is one of the few "summer" frags in my quite substantial collection that I would actually classify as one of my top 10 favorites. I give Kenzo PHI a 9/10. Very masculine yet soft at the same time, 2 sprays are more than sufficient. I wore this down in Miami recently and it just worked so well around the beaches and pools.

Este es como su hijo pequeño (aunque en duración le gana, estoy hablando por amabilidad del aroma) - El perfume mas versatil de mi colección, por ello es mi fragancia firma. - Es un perfume muy equilibrado. No muy acuatico, no muy aromatico, no muy verde, no muy frutal. Todo en su justa medida y muy redondo, nunca quedaras mal con este perfume. - La duración de este perfume no es poca cosa, la ropa semanas si no meses, mas de una vez me he llevado una sorpresa. En piel es otro mundo. -Actualmente es el perfume con mejor desempeño de todas las tiendas comerciales, se pasa por la piedra a cualquier perfume nicho, sin ser atosigante ni llevar 2kg de oud indio enchufado por dominic ropion. - En resumen, el mejor perfume comercial de la industria. I don't find it very marine, this is a green fragrance to me, something like taking a walk between eucalyptus, pines or some other trees. I love it. I try not to spray the parfumes on my skin, so I can't say much about how much it lasts on it, but on clothes this thing is eternal. I have to just use 2 sprays on the lower back of my shirt so I don't kill anyone in my office with the scent, and I can perfectly smell it for at least 8 hours even if i'm wearing it in such a strange place (lower back). Duration and silage are great. Mine has the silver atomizer, by the way. Edit: after a pair of weeks using it. I'm pretty sure you do become noseblind to this fragance after some time using it and that's why some people are saying it doesn't last the same as the first batches. The firsts days using it I could smell it even after 8 hours but now, I smell it just after spraying it but it gets harder to spot it as minutes go by. The scent must be there tho, you can get some glimpses of it when you move, but you don't feel it as strong as the first times.

Kenzo Homme EDP. Blind bought this recently, and honestly, this has to be one of the best blind buys I’ve ever made. Right from the first spray, it hits you with a very strong, bold opening, fresh, slightly salty, and woody at once. It might feel a bit intense initially, but give it some time, and the magic really starts in the dry down. As it settles, the fragrance becomes incredibly smooth, refined, and well-balanced. The harshness fades away, leaving behind a clean, woody, slightly aquatic scent that feels very classy and mature. It’s the kind of scent that quietly stands out without trying too hard. Performance is solid, and both projection and longevity are impressive. In fact, you really don’t need more than 2 sprays, maybe 3 at max. Anything beyond that can easily become overpowering and might give those around you a headache, especially in enclosed spaces. Overall, a fantastic fragrance that feels unique, high-quality, and versatile enough for both day and evening wear. Definitely a win for me.

Excellent quality, almost niche fragrance. !00% for a man. This is a total bamboo fragrance. There is a very woody quality to this with some dirty aspects. Not much patchouli, rather a spicy, dirty akigalawood molecule definitely has that creamy, nutty almost oud agarwood. For sure a creamy base. A unique creamy base, bit of a nutty feel. All of this is relative. Mostly what sticks out to me is the oceanic vibes at first. Continues though most of the scent. Salt is there but not like you think. More of an ocean breeze feeling. Not quite a blue fragrances, definitely an aquatic fresh scent. I consider this small room safe and year round, any time of day. Scent: 8 of 10 Longevity: 2/3 of 10 Silage: 3/4 of 10 You cannot beleive everything you read online; especially about longevity. Fragrance houses chance manufacturing all the time and release new formulations. When prices increase drastically, it is time to reformulate with a lower concentration. Life sucks. Usually, when first smelling a scent and it invokes any thoughts beyond "good" or "bad," you know you have a keeper. Kenzo Intense is exactly that. Heavy spice and pepper opening which is followed up with, what can only be described as, the perfect day at a favorite ocean beach. The salty drydown of calypsone and fig, combined with the sandalwood, produce an extremely fresh, pure-air smell reminiscent of Ozone. If imagining the most fresh smelling air, anywhere in the world, it would be this. That said, in a room full of compliments [and there are many] there will always be ONE person that thinks it smells too close to pickles. Everyone else will give funny looks. As long as this is available, it's a must have, however it's not a safe blind buy. Heavy sillage and projection, Kenzo Homme EDT Intense has to be removed with layers of skin; it will last all day even after swimming and/or showering with single application of body wash. Personally, it's top 3 in my collection, as of 04/2026.

I blind bought this at a good discount at a Hudson's Bay store closing sale. Sad times for Canada, BTW. Having never seen it selling there before and being the only one, I had to scoop it up. First spray was instant satisfaction, the alcohol was intense but burned out quick. I don't detect a lot of the fruitiness, but the aquatic, green woodyness is fantastic. At first the performance seemed lack luster, I did 3 more sprays on my right arm. (I was already heavily dosed with Born in Roma Extradose which is not a slouch.) But, the rest of the day was all Kenzo's, even after pulling my sweater sleeve down, this stuff was absolutely pumping hard. I'm a huge fan of high performance and this bad boy has it, no doubt about it. This is going to be my evening summer scent this year, it's too much for my work environment. Over all, IMO, it's a year round fragrance and if you dislike that slight pickle tinge that haunts some people, this might not be your thing.

I think the best way to describe this perfume is that it smells like you've dived to the bottom of the sea to collect seaweed and, upon surfacing, lain down under a fig tree. It has a greener touch, but without losing that subtle note of something freshly emerged from the sea. It gradually becomes more woody and finally transforms into an extremely masculine and seductive fragrance. It lasts a very long time and has excellent projection (it lives up to its name, "Intense"). At first, I found it a strange combination, almost an uncomfortable smell, but little by little I fell in love with it, and for €40 for 110 ml, I'm more than satisfied. It's a fairly versatile fragrance that you could even wear in winter without any problem, but it might disappoint you if you're expecting something simpler and more marine. Therefore, I highly recommend trying it before buying it. It definitely deserves an 9/10.

Kenzo Homme Intense EDT Man, this line is easily one of the best in my collection. So unique. They have masterfully taken the DNA of what we know as a summer aquatic and made it versatile for every season. I for one love that this line get slept on. KHI opens up with this fresh salted calypsone melon with a hint of sweet juicy fig in the background. Man, it will stick with you for the life of this fragrance. Now it's not listed but I get this faint tart cinnamon in the dry down. All in all, though it should be, but can't be because of its uniqueness and potency a mass appealing fragrance this is one of the best summer aquatic’s FragWear has to offer. Price Point 10/10 Performance 10/10 Projection 10/10 (5-6hrs of solid projection on skin) Longevity 10/10 (12-14hrs on skin, 2 or 3 days on clothes) If you happen to give this one a smell you might find yourself getting a backup. Enjoy

The opening has a classic/old time vibe that lasts for about 30/45 mins. I did not like the opening that much, however, the magic really happens in the dry down. This improves so much after 2/3 hours mark. it is like two different scents (a trait of high quality niche scents). The dry down also feels like you just sprayed a new perfume not the conventional dry down. I have Bois imperial & they are not close scent wise but they have something common that I cannot really put it into words. I prefer this dna to the regular blue scents for everyday use. This is not a safe blind buy, though. Performance is above average as everyone below rightly mentioned. This is also versatile & could be worn to office but with limited sprays. I liked it so much for the dry down that lasts for hours.

Spicy, Fruity , Marine beast. Received a 10ml sample of this yesterday as the EDP is a signature scent of mine. One spray on before sleeping around 11pm and it’s still lingering on my skin today at around 2pm. Though the EDP is versatile , this one is even more versatile as it is lighter (scent profile-wise). You get a Marine spicy fruity fragrance that can be worn to almost anything that performs very well. I’ll be honest, the first time I tried this at a department store the Calypsone threw me off greatly. Same goes for the EDT and it’s banana-like Ylang Ylang. But trying it again now, on my skin, after a few months and I feel like I get it now. Going to get a 60ml bottle soon and hopefully try out the EDT again. Completely unique marine scents from Bisch. 9/10

I just got this in today and I’m impressed. This is what I wish Le Labo’s Santal 33 was when I bought it. Gives me a similar feel but performs better. Awesome fragrance, smooth sandalwood/woods with nice fig notes while being a little bit spicy. I also get some of the marine notes but not as heavily as I was expecting. The dry down is great. The performance is incredible as well, projects well and lasts forever. I sprayed this on in the morning on each side of my neck and once on my shirt and it lasted through a full work day and then some. Really glad I picked it up, great fragrance for the price especially if you find it on discounters. Scent 7.5/10 - not the most unique thing I’ve ever smelled but it’s great. Longevity 10/10 Sillage 8/10

One of my favourite EDTs, it is super versatile. The fresh-fruitiness from calypsone and fig, and the marine notes make it a very good summer fragrance. On the other hand, the woodiness and hints of spices carries this fragrance in colder weather as well! It is also a work horse when it comes to projection and performance. On my skin I can smell it for upto 6 hours, on clothes I can still smell it after 10-11 hours and it also projects quite well. Best part is that this DNA is quite unique and underrated. In about 6 months of me wearing this twice every week, I have recieved about 5 compliments, whereas I have only recieved 2 for Georgio Armani Acqua Di Giò. It smells like a relaxing spa resort, I strongly recommend this perfume.

Discovered this fragrance at the Miami Airport in the duty free store. Infact I discovered a lot of great fragrances I've only read about but this fragrance was so intriguing to me. I never smelled such a realistic marine scent like this. I used to have a saltwater fish tank and the store I used to shop at had huge display tanks of saltwater fish and invertebrates. This fragrance is exactly the same smell of being around all of that but clean and refreshing. I was surprised to see fig and fig leaf in the composition because the marine note is so realistic that I thought I was smelling seaweed. This fragrance absolutely resonates with me. It is surprisingly STRONG. Less is more with this one. Love it

The first time I smelled it, it immediately reminded me of spices, and I was right. The top notes do have a spicy scent, but I didn’t detect anything else. The scent of pink pepper appeared with a hint of fig, but I still felt like it wasn’t really there. For the dry down, sandalwood dominates, and the scent becomes more “mature.” I tried it and found the longevity to be absolutely extraordinary, especially for an EDT “Intense”, it’s more than we might expect. The sillage is average in my opinion, but with a scent like this, a reasonable price, and good longevity, I think this will be the next perfume I have to buy. Therefore, 9.5/10 is a fair score for Kenzo Homme EDT Intense.

Damn, this is actually really good. It projects like a beast on my skin and I even received a compliment from my girlfriend (which is very rare!). This is a brilliant take on a freshie that steers away from your typical citruses. It's salty, but balanced excellently with fruity notes. It also has a mouth-wateringly juicy watermelon note which I'm assuming is the calypsone. Honestly, this is a stunningly refreshing take on a warm weather fragrance that I didn't know I needed until now. It's not headache-inducing either which I feel I sometimes get with citrusy scents. Fantastic quality for a designer -- I'd even go as far to say a masterpiece from Kenzo.

Me compre el perfume en 2026, es una bestia. Y no me refiero a bestia en el sentido de ser demasiado, lo digo porque tiene una muy buena proyección, y muy buena duración. Mi madre la olió y dice que es de las que mas le ha gustado. Se percibe un aroma que de verdad es mas caro de lo que cuesta, y la calidad es muy muy buena. Si me preguntan es tal cual a lo que huele, una Fragancia especiada, marina, amaderada, no ruda pero suave y cremosa, miy ligeramente dulce, pero un dulce mas sutil. Y sobre todo herbal, huele a perfume verde. Yo tengo 20 años y me parece perfecta para mi edad, hasta mi hermano de 15 le parece muy bien el olor
