Kenzo World Eau de Toilette

Much less intense than its version in the emerald green bottle, but at the same level of quality and finish, that's for sure! Although I'm not sure I'd like to have one for myself, for now! A rather frightening opening, due to the odd combination of citrus touches, pear juice and another oily almond content, with zero flowers and one note trying to overlap the other; It was messy, I must say, but if I can get through his exit, it'll be pure joy! A garden of living Roses and another bouquet of dewy Peonies stand out in the heart, bringing a sensation of neatness, freshness, absolute cleanliness and, at the same time, admirable joviality; cool this tender feeling of young age that he refers here! Finally, it becomes a fragrance that is very close to the skin, with a vanilla background, and hints of sensual musk, and a few more pinches of wet woods and a very shy, very exquisite lily and for those people who admire more intimate perfumes, who seek to perfume themselves only for themselves!

In love with this, smells to me like Nivea Cream, literally identical to it. Such a calming and soothing scent, appropriate for all occasions, from a work lunch to a family brunch, to even a wedding, really really anything... It makes me feel like I just stepped out of the shower and put cream on, feeling fresh, clean, sexy, and in a good mood. It has a hint of creamy floral soapiness, it makes me think of thick dense Nivea cream when you lather your hands with it. Great sillage, projection, longevity. I sprayed a couple sprays in the store around 6-7 hours ago and it's still very very noticeable. I will be doing my research to find this for cheap and I will most definitely buy myself a full size bottle. Gorgeous scent, better than the EDP (which is completely completely different), although I like that one too. Thank you to the Sephora SA for giving me a sample of the EDP, I was not aware of these beauties by the house of Kenzo. Can't wait to get this.

My mom owned this one a long ago. Not the best versatile female fragrance, but I still recommend it for you to wear during warm weather. I'm not basically a Kenzo perfumes fan, but I recognize this one as the best pick. It has a wonderful rose smell, gotta love how the base notes provide your girlfriend, wife or best friend with that blameless smell of a musk, violet, vanilla and sandalwood. You also really gonna love the freshness of the perfume. I recommend this one.

Like many already said it smells pretty much exactly like Nivea cream. Since I love Nivea I love this quite a bit. Finally a smell like the actual cream. I think I need this ! Just smells clean , baby like,Nivea lotion and baby powder. Complete compfort to me :) Ended up buying this. Love it as a daily out of the shower perfume. It just smelles clean , freshly bathed and like a baby’s but lol. Pure Nivea smell !

I love this perfume so very much, it's calming and clean, smelling very soapy, and, I love the soapy smell in it, it reminds me of my Black Mexx and my beloved Escada Especially perfumes. 10/10 points, fits everybody in the universe, and I also think this perfume will smell very good on men :))

I’m genuinely suprised how low scores she have! I get compliments on it ”that I smell truly elegant lady”. :) Its best wear at summer days and evenings. Its fresh, sweet and has interesting hook and powderiness like made for princess!

The EDT and the EDP are different but they share the similar sweetness. It's sweet but kind of salty to my nose. I love them both.

I was not the biggest fan of Kenzo World EDP, I didn't hate it but found it rather mediocre and kind of messy. Because some reviewers described the EDT as not similar to the original and as a Nivea cream type of scent, I still wanted to try it. Well, I do think it's similar to the EDP, but less fruity and more floral, and more harmonious all in all. Both have the same lush, humid, syrupy texture that is also found in the My Burberry line, which is no surprise as they're all by the same perfumer, Francis Kurkdjian. World EDT starts out fruity, I'm not sure if I would have identified it as pear though. It's sweet and juicy, but the floral notes of dewy rose and peony already peek through. I'm glad they left out the red berries that clashed with the peony in the EDP. After I while the scent becomes creamier and a little powdery with the almond blossom, musk and orris, which is quite pleasant. It's clearly almond blossom, not almond, so this is not gourmand at all, but it's much sweeter than Nivea and similar body cream scents. I wouldn't put it into the "clean and freshly showered" category, it's a sweet fruity floral to me. When I once tried it in an overheated mall with a heavy winter jacket on I noticed it turned sickly on my skin, so I'd say this is better suited to mild weather and lighter clothes. After 6 hours I can barely smell it today, so the performance is nothing to write home about. The whole scent is nothing extraordinary, but it's nice and likeable.

The other day I got a tester of this and I wholeheartedly agree with Albiretu, this smells SO much like Nivea cream! There's definitely a little bit added fruitiness going on, but the Nivea vibe is super strong. Longevity in cooler European weather (15-20 Celsius, 59-68 Fahrenheit) is rather weak on me. I can smell it for about 2-3 hours. Sillage is also rather quiet. I guess people will mostly smell it when you move by them, as in getting into /out of the same elevator, moving by their desk closely etc. It's inoffensive, clean, fresh, feminine, the perfect office fragrance. Might also fit well with a white dress meeting your friends for a spring or summer brunch. Weirdly also I could picture 1980s Steffi Graf (or insert any other 80s or early 90s tennis player) to be promoting it. I don't think I would go out of my way to buy this, but I wouldn't be mad if I got it as a gift randomly. It's a no brainer pick for the daytime and for settings when you're not sure people will appreciate stronger fragrances or not. I'd definitely use it up.

How bright, uplifting and feminine! This is one of those scents if you want to feel fresh, clean and pretty: then splash this on and you're good to go! Kenzo 'World' EDT smells NOTHING like the EDP and falls into the same category as Ferragamo 'Signorina' EDT (Except I love Signorina more). First spray I get that crisp, soapy pear. It's definitely citrusy on me and not sweet (if you're looking for sweet pear go for Katy Perry's 'Meow' EDP). Within 5 minutes the florals come in, they are tart! My skin projects the rose most. As it dries down it's quite linear: Powdery, crisp pears on a bed of tart, soapy roses. I get way more peony in 'World' EDP. Is it a complex, unique scent? No definitely not. Do I think it's an easy reach for all daytime occasions in warm weather? Heck yes! P.S. If you're looking for a more mature version of this scent 100% go for Lancôme's Idole range.

The notes look just divine, I imagined something lovely and softer. It doesn't smell like Nivea at all. Very interesting composition, I find it hard to make my mind up about it. I smell something slightly sharp, it's not creamy and too soft (like Nivea), I think, I would really love it without the pear as something stands out too much and destroys that beautiful soft, flowery, milky undertone, which is felt throughout. It is slightly powdery, I'd probably love it if it was less on that sweetness. It's not cloying by all means, nothing close to LVEB sweetness, but I can't love it as it still annoys me.

I’m just getting to know this fragrance, but so far, it’s definitely fruity floral with a lot of powdery notes. I agree, that it has a bit of a salty feel. It seems to wear a bit heavier than an edt for sure. I’m not a powdery fragrance kind of gal but this is not bad at all. I think this would be a good, inoffensive scent for daytime wear, for work or whatever you do during the day. It’s pretty, understated and I don’t find it generic. It’s isn’t my style of fragrance, but I can appreciate the appeal.

The packaging promises "a surprising complicity between fizzy pear, glowing peony, almond blossom, and the feminine orris". And it delivers. It's quite potent to begin with - predominantly sweet almond and fruit. The fizz they describe reminds me of sherbert, and the delicate floral notes come out as it mingles with your skin. It's a sweet floral, with a shot of almond and sugar on top. And it's beautifully done.

I remember leaving a rather underwhelming review for Kenzo World EDP some years ago. This one, however, is a whole different story. Very powdery, but in a good way, almond milk-like scent with barely there vanilla and very delicate heart notes. I'd compare it to the smell of skin (not leather, but clean, soft human skin, if you know what I mean).

An eccentric bottle with a special scent inside it! (There should never be lame/generic fume inside a bottle that has this much character.) I like how the powdery note is combined with the fresh florals. A very pleasant, easy to approach perfume, that is not generic. Pleasant but not boring. I could wear this anytime and I like the eye.

I don't deny that the shape of the bottle intrigued me a lot. A bit juicy at first, this scent quickly becomes soft, soapy and powdery. To my nose the main notes are peony and bergamot, along with violet. Surprisingly I like this fragrance that reminds me of the smell of blossoming trees in spring.

Very mild, perfect office fragrance. Everyone would think that you have just a nice deodorant or you used a scented shampoo in the morning. Wear it if you have a misfortune of working in a fragrance free space.

Powdery, soft-gentle, feminine and nice.. A little bit baby kinda powder.

Something in this fragrance is off putting to my nose and I really think it’s the rose. To me, this does smell like Nivea body cream/lotion but less pleasant because of that rose. I get the peony here but it’s overshadowed by sharp rose. I’m hoping I can find a way to tone that note down as I’m in love with the bottle and otherwise find the fragrance pleasant. I think this could be worn as a casual everyday scent. It has decent lasting power and forms a light and airy scent bubble. I could also see this being worn to bed Update: I couldn’t make it work, gave it away

Nivea skin cream--powdery florals and waxy fruit, with that unmistakable odd sweet musk. It's nice, but the flashback to all my mid-eighties high school angst hit me like a slap, and I swear my face broke out in sympathetic second puberty. Peony and pear on top, orris root and Duran Duran on the bottom.
