Soleil Thé

extremely nostalgic. smells like a beach day as a child, like sand and suncream.

I had half an hour to sample the whole line represented and though several new Kenzo Memori started promising, the best drydown on blotter belonged to this one. Hence - the bottle. Definetely soleil - whatever we usually mean by it - light, airy, slightly mineral, but not salty. Soft and ligtly creamy it feels suitable for a skin care line. Reminiscent of Sunflowers by E. Arden and Memories by Gucci. I found longevity and sillage not very prominent yet and pair it with Eau de Soleil Blanc by TF, now the combo is longlasting and nice. Cold skin, cold weather test

It smells like s sophisticated day in beach. It has that "sunny" or "solar cream" smell, bit in a very faint or delicate way. The tea note is not as strong as it is on other tea perfumes. It blends so well with the iris. There is no frangipani listed, but that is the vive of this perfume. Definetively "Soleil" is a good name for it. So bright in a peaceful way. Projection and sillage are quite weak, still, it is very unique and beautiful.

A lovely iris powdery fragrance. It has a slight make-upy feel (as is often the case with iris fragrances), but it's not too vintage; it's the green tea that gives it a lovely Asian twist. I didn't understand the choice of its name ("Soleil The" which means Sun-Tea) until I realized that it leaves behind a pleasant solar trail - which is surprising without the presence of tiare/coconut/monoi/ylang/jasmine! 8.5/10

this is a warmer version of diptyque's ilio! if that is your signature scent (as it is mine!), this is a very safe buy for sure. this one has a slightly sharper quality due to the ginseng note, but i think it acts similarly to the bergamot note in ilio. similar names relating to the sun; this one is very pretty but ilio still remains my number 1! i'll definitely be keeping this one around though :)

This fragrance centers around a powdery iris, but what truly stands out is the strong presence of ginseng. There’s indeed a distinct sunscreen-like impression here, likely from the soft, powdery iris combined with the clean, comforting white musk and the warm ginseng - or perhaps from some unannounced ylang-ylang. However, the overpowering ginseng cuts through this softness with its sharp, almost spicy edge. In the end, it’s an ok scent, but the imbalance keeps it from being truly memorable.

The note is very deceptive - as many have said, it smells like a very sweet “sunscreen” scent. It's not powdery, but rather a coconut+frangipani+watery+balsamic scent composition.

I love Kenzo Memori Collection, stole my heart with these beautiful relaxing and soothing fragrances🤍 Nuit Tatami is my instant crush and Soleil Thé comes afterwards. Soleil Thé means Sun Tea and i find it really happy and sunny as its name☀️ Though the notes don’t include any yellow or sweet fragrant flowers i do clearly get mimosa and maybe some honeysuckle flavours🌼 It has iris which leads the fragrance from the beginning until the end, ginseng, tea and white musk are the remaining notes. This yellow flowery, let’s call it mimosa feeling gives a bright vibe like a warming effect of the rising sun. Pulls the fragrance to the breezy side. Here you may find iris powdery and creamy instead of reflecting cold and distant energy of its own. Soleil Thé is soft, airy but bright and a happy member of this collection✨

The beginning is promising: Magnolia and sunny powdery cloud. But then things do not go the way I expected :( Baby powder, johnson & johnson baby oil, Nivea cream + rice powder and Matcha tea. Not the kind of powderiness you'd normally get from Iris. A bit itchy Musk that dominates a bigger part of the fragrance. My review of this KENZO collection is available on my YouTube. Dina_France
