Biscotti Melon Misk

I really like it. It's sweet, but not sickly sweet. It's so fresh! The coconut milk is smooth. I will keep for summer spring but honestly, I will wear it all year around.

It’s so beautiful. I loved it 😍 I am not good at describing perfumes, but it is sweet, melony and creamy.

I got this the first time as a sample and I used it almost all up, until my daughter came by and wanted it;) I gave my last drops to her and ordered a fb straight away. I cant believe this fragrance got so low scores here on Fragrantica. This is a fresh, breezy, slightly aquatic coconut fragrance with a crispy and sweet melon. I would say 60% melon and 40% lactonic coconut. The other notes are there to add the breezy and fresh notes. It has sweetness to it, but it is not gourmand. Today it was around 20 degrees celcius outside and it did not become cloying. I used my sample mostly during late spring and it was perfect. I can not say how this will perform when it gets warmer outside, but Im sure this will be perfect otherwise in the summer evening. This fragrance do not remind me of any other fragrance I have smelt before, and it has originality to it. You will not smell like everybody else;)

I own all three fragrances from Khadlaj’s Biscotti line and Melon Misk is definitely the most feminine-leaning of the trio. I haven’t tried the original Navitus Melon Kiss but Melon Misk delivers a creamy, fruity gourmand vibe. If melon accords aren’t your thing, this one might not be for you. As a guy, I find it challenging to wear outside my comfort zone but perfect for home, bedtime or layered with more masculine scents. For the price, it’s a solid buy: creamy, fruity, with average longevity. That’s expected given its citrus and fruit-forward profile, supported by vanilla and oakmoss in the dry-down. Some might find it cloying, so it’s best suited for cooler weather. Personally, Caramel Pop and Date Toffee are my standout Biscottis. The colour of the bottles represent the strength or projection, IMHO - Date Toffee (strongest), Caramel Pop (moderate), Melon Misk (modest).

I hope this improves with time because as of now (I’ve had this fragrance for a week) it is unwearable. Smells like rotten melons. I’m going to spray it down the drain to let in some O2 and let her sit. I’ll come back to update in a month. If you want this one, maybe just wait a bit. *3 months later. It smells better. I’m going to wear it and see if I like it on my skin.
