Island Dreams

This one surprised me, and I really do not have enough good things to say about it. I sold my first bottle to my brother because he loved it so much and I wasn't wearing it often, but that made me miss it so I had to buy another. This one shares the opening combo of ginger, grapefruit, and bergamot that is also shared between Tygar, Vibrato, and Ingenious Ginger, but all in different ratios. The entirety of this fragrance is most similar to the opening of Maison Asrar Majesty, so if you like this but want something less linear, that might be your next pick. Despite the linearity, this one is a banger. Grapefruit is the star in this one, with the ginger and citrus being rounding notes to give it more character. It's clean, fresh, fruity, and sweet in a somewhat realistic way without being too sweet. The musk and ambroxan ground it out and keep it from being too fruity or sweet while giving it a surprising amount of body. The grapefruit has an almost aldehydic nature to it that comes off as cooling, which I love. This thing is FRESH. It's playful, inviting, and vibrant. And the performance was absolutely surprising on this one. This thing lasts forever on my skin. It creates a very nice strong but inoffensive scent bubble that will be noticed. The musk and ambroxan give it a natural body type scent which keeps this from having a traditional "cologne" smell while having it last. This lingers as a skin scent into the next day every time I wear it. No brainer, fantastic freshie.

Awesome citrus fragrance that lasts me all day. If you're not a fan of grapefruit or any citrus, DONT buy this fragrance. I can understand where people are coming from when people say it smells like lemon cleaner, but to me it smells like more than just that. It's a signature summer fragrance for me, and gets me PLENTY of compliments. I once put this on around 8 in the morning, and I got a compliment from someone 3 feet away after 7 hours. This fragrance does require maceration, but it only took me around two weeks to get an amazing punchy grapefruit scent. It opens bright, with a heavy ginger note which pairs really nicely with the bergamot and grapefruit. As it dries down, it get more of the grapefruit with a sweet, musky undertone. This scent is amazing if you enjoy citrus, you really won't be disappointed. I was told multiple times that this smells like a tropical island, and I honestly can't disagree. Blind bought this, and it became my signature scent. Lasts around 8-10 hours after 2 weeks maceration, and projects up to 5 feet for the first 3 hours on my skin. Wouldn't describe this as beast mode, but DANG, for a grapefruit heavy fragrance, it sure does feel like it is.

I really disliked this fragrance at first but I've really come around to it. As with many middle eastern dupe fragrances, I'm not a fan of the openings and they require a bit of time to fully flesh out. Out of the box, the closest comparison I could make is the original club de nuit, not because of the smell, but because they both give off citrus floor cleaner vibes. Both me and my girlfriend were iffy, but the dry down seemed promising. After some more time with it, I find myself reaching for it pretty often. Its a no brainer scent that I cant get enough of. While the opening is still a bit synthetic, its become way less harsh. Fresh zingy opening that dies down to a grapefruity scent with a nice clean musk. Very simple, I know, but there's something really elegant about this one. I feel it falls into the category of those "fresh clothes" type scents. If you're willing to look past the so so opening, and give the bottle some time, you absolutely cant go wrong with it. Now that its matured, the girlfriend approves, and says its one of her favorites. I've also had a good handful of compliments from wearing it out. Great scent, great cost, what's not to like?

Longevity is surprising. That fizzy, fresh, grapefruit, musky, combo lasts a long time maybe 8 hours. This is a really great scent. I don't know how anyone can spend $600-700 on the LV if they have this and it's already this good. The first 5 mins are slightly harsh but after that this thing is wonderful. I don't know if LV Symphony smells like this but if this is the more masculine version of it, there's no reason to get Symphony if you're a man because this is quite unisex already. I definitely understand how to the wrong nose it can come across as a cleaning product but I think that's only if you overspray and only during the first 5 mins. The atomizer is wonderful. This just makes me think of a beach day or a hot summer day with a white shirt. Strangely I would agree with others, go easy on the sprays, it can overwhelm in an unexpected way despite it being a light fragrance. This one unfortunately makes my eyes water though so be ware of that if you're sensitive to certain ingredients. 8.5/10 Really great!

Symphony is my favorite LV scent but I don't find any value in the premium that the bottle and sculpture cap command otherwise I would have the OG. Island Dreams is one of the closest dupes I've experienced but it is a very simple, linear scent. I find it to be a little bit sweeter and the musk to be different in a way I can't quite put to words. For those who haven't smelled it before, it is a sweet candied grapefruit and not at all the photorealistic/tart/juicy citrus you might expect from peeling fresh grapefruit. I also don't really get any ginger from it (same as the OG), but I typically associate ginger with an earthy, spicy notes. Scent is very bright, clean, and unisex. For me it is a very good light and natural musk that I prefer for the gym or to layer with other fragrances to add some sweetness. I don't personally have any issues from mixing with heavy sweat but your body chemistry may vary.

I dont think anyone would say that LV Symphony is worth the price that they are charging. It is a beautiful scent and I would say its probably my second favorite LV. But at over $600...I cant help but feel glad that Khadlaj made Island Dreams. This is just an amazing grapefruit and ginger scent that mimicks Symphony to about 85-90%. This is an amazing bargain compared to the original. Very long lasting and just overall a nice inoffensive scent. Just imagine a very posh restaurant or hotel lobby and this is what I get from it. Definitely a very good fragrance to wear during the day. It performs very well in high heat and not cloying at all. I have all three of this line and it is 100% the best of the Khadlaj Island line up. Do not fear blind buying. It is 100% a summer banger and worth paying $30-45. 9/10 Would highly recommend

Just got this out of the box. Never smelled the OG yet. My batch is 01/26. Wasn't a blind buy either, I had tries this at a store in the mall that sells clone fragrances and other cheapies. I liked it because of how nice the grapefruit is. Theirs is probably a longer batch than mine and has matured longer. Out of the box, this is strong. I really love the opening and the grapefruit note. Fresh, easy, and versatile for the day. But it does smell quite synthetic to my nose unlike my other clone fragrances. Lasts very long. I dislike the dry down, not my taste in particular. The whole scent is like an air freshener for a car. But because this is mass-appealing, I'm giving this one a shot. Hopefully after some maturing this will become better. I have a feeling I'm gonna grow into it. I'll update my review after 1 month.

Island Dreams – Khadlaj Perfumes I’ve never smelled the LV fragrance this is inspired by, but if it smells anything like this, it has to be amazing. Island Dreams is just a beautiful scent all around. It opens with a fresh, sweet citrus vibe that immediately feels clean and uplifting, with a soft musky and powdery base that keeps it smooth and easy to wear. There’s a nice balance of fresh spicy and aromatic touches, blended with a light amber warmth that gives it a bit of depth without taking away from that clean feel. This is one of those fragrances you can wear anytime — day, night, work, or even going out. Super versatile and easy to grab. I’ve been wearing this almost daily, and it’s definitely my top favorite from the Island line. Just a feel-good scent that works in pretty much every situation. Rating: 5/5 ⭐

Wow, this smells like a luxurious hotel lobby in the best way possible. The grapefruit is the first thing I notice, and it's done beautifully—bright, fresh, and uplifting without being sharp or harsh. It's very easy to wear and completely inoffensive. I've already received compliments while wearing it. It does lean slightly feminine to my nose; one of my colleagues even said it smells like a beautiful, clean woman, which made me laugh. That said, I think men can wear this confidently because it's not floral or overly sweet. There's no candy-like sweetness here—just a fresh, clean, and polished scent that feels effortlessly elegant. If you enjoy fragrances that smell airy, crisp, and expensive without trying too hard, Khadlaj Island Dreams is definitely worth checking out.

Island Dream is one of the most balanced citrus fragrances I've ever smelled. It's neither too sour nor too sweet, neither bitter nor sugary. It simply smells like you've just squeezed a perfect mix of oranges, bergamot, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits, with the sparkling freshness still floating in the air. I've tried plenty of designer, niche, and Middle Eastern citrus fragrances over the years, but very few feel this natural and balanced—and even fewer last this long. On me, it gives a solid 4 hours, which is excellent for a fresh citrus scent. I love, love, love this perfume and honestly find it irreplaceable for hot summers. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys citrus notes, regardless of age or gender. When it's burning hot outside, simplicity is perfection.

Bought this for my boyfriend, who is a grapefruit fanatic. I'm not the biggest fan in the world of grapefruit but this makes me want to be. It is so bright and sparkly. I have never smelled a perfume where the citrus scent lasts for as long as this. I absolutely love smelling this on him. There is a musky component to this perfume that is noticeable but it never feels like it clashes with the grapefruit. In fact, the musk adds a sexy element to this perfume and causes it to lean more masculine than feminine to me. This really smells like you filled a sodastream bottle full of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and then carbonated it. I like it. I haven't got my nose on Symphony yet but just on its own, it's a solid fragrance. Bright fruity citrus as described. My bottle has matured a few months and I gotta say the negative reviews either got a fake or need to give it a little time. Not overly synthetic at all. Excited to wear it next spring/summer but I'll probably rock it this winter some too. I'm getting good silage for 6-7 hours on skin with only 3 sprays. Great performance! Edit: Okay got to compare it to Symphony. Island Dreams is justly slightly less effervescent and bright in the open. Dry down is just slightly more synthetic and less real citrus fruit smelling. That being said, it is extremely close! I'd say about 95% there. For the price, it's a no brainer.

When I first got this about 3 months ago, I liked it, but I was overwhelmed at the time because I was still buying and trying everything. Now that I’ve bought everything I’ve wanted, I’ve had a chance to go back and try some that may have snuck under the radar. The fragrance is amazing. It smells vibrant, fresh, and zingy. Performance is also amazing. It lasts 12+ hours on skin. It maintains the same scent profile throughout the entire fragrance, which is nice because it smells amazing from beginning to end. If you’re on the fence about this one, just go for it. You will not be disappointed. Does it smell like symphony? I have no fucking clue. I would never spend that much on a fragrance. This, on the other hand, is a masterpiece.

Es un buen perfume muy versátil y fácil de gustar. Ideal para cualquier ocasión. Respecto a su duración en mi más de 8 horas fácil. Fresco, cítrico, frutal. Por este precio y sus cualidades es una muy buena compra y viene a ser parte de mi colección de frescos versátiles como Art of Universe o Reef entre otros. Edit. Tras un mes de oxidación las notas y el aroma es más redondo su secado ha mejorado, la proyección y duración también ha mejorado fácil más de 8 horas en mi piel. Sobre el tema de detergente puedo entenderlo pues el Original Symphony tambien tiene ese punto. En el secado ese milésimo matiz desaparece. Es también un conseguidor de cumplidos algo que me ha llamado la atención.

It’s similar to French Avenue Pinnace, which I own (a Pacific Chill clone). Dreams: sweet grapefruit, ginger, and a little bit of musk that adds softness. Pinnace: sweet apricot and grapefruit, with a slight minty note and some blackcurrant sourness. For me, if you already have Pacific Chill or a clone, you don’t need Symphony or any of its clones. EDIT:this smells better then pinnace les sweet and more citrusy and longevity, sillage like hawas ice for me I can smell after 1 day, if you pass the opening (bc its really sharp and smells like cleaning product) this is really good fragrance for price I can buy second bottle. Spray it and wait for drydown you can see what I mean

Once upon a time, I had a grapefruit and realized it's my favourite citrus smell. So I googled "Grapefruit perfume" and it gave me expensive sounding words. Very scary. Kept scrolling until I found Khadlaj Island Dreams, and went with it. A very photorealistic grapefruit and I love it! Some might say it's too overwhelming but meh, you do you. If you live in a hot country, this fragrance will be a perfect pick me up and is quite uplifting. We're talking about fizzy, bright citrus, and the projection on this is OMG. As a vibe, it feels like that one super cheerful friend who lights up the room whenever they walk in and melts all of your problems away.

UPDATED REVIEW! (I did my first review on the 19th of May) Truly let this one sit out and mature. A week in, and it smells less of a laundry / toilet cleaner but instead a fresh grapefruit that smells expensive. I find out why on testing papers it smells so good compared to my skin. My skin is incompatible for ambroxan notes! I dabbed some vaseline before applying this fragrance, and it did the magic for me. Now it smells better and much less intrusive to the nose. But of course, a week of letting it sit is still needed. If you just got this and it smells like a porcelain cleaner, don't give up hope just yet. Use the 1 week method + vaseline method.

I've never smelled LV symphony, but wow is this a great fragrance on its own. Recently picked up a sample and have been wearing it despite the fact its the middle of winter. I get solid longevity for a fresh fragrance in about 6 hours, 3 where it projects well. I love the citruses and ginger, and the powdery aspect as well. Will obviously be more suited for the summertime, and I will be purchasing a full bottle. Reasonably priced and reminds me in a way of pacific chill with its powdery almost soft vibe and extreme fruitiness. Definitely my style and will be one i reach for often in upcoming months. 8.7/10

Man do I love this fraegrance..I bought this for 30 bucks at Marshalls as a blind buy, the packaging was phenomenal, the bottle was beautiful, and that atomizer was nothing. The opening is sharp yet not too overwhelming but least to say I was satisfied. I wore this for weeks to come and it's still a great staple in my collection, it feels like a more unisex scent and if you are fine with a sharp opening this could be a good buy for you. I wouldn't QUITE say blind buy safe but if you don't cringe at the smell of fabuloso you definitely would appreciate this!

I got this two weeks ago and must say that I LOVE It! I wasn't expecting much, but have been so pleasantly surprised...usually Middle Eastern fragrances need some maceration/maturation to be any good, but this one was lovely right off the bat. The opening is fresh and clean- like you just took a luxurious spa shower, and the dry-down is warm and musky. I have MFK 724 and am sad to say that I WAY prefer this one- 724 comes off too screechy and masculine leaning on me. I am a fan of Island Dreams and will be repurchasing!

This is really good , like really really good , i have a symphony vial and if you donot spray them side by side , and wear symphony today and dreams maybe 2,3 days later you would think there is literally no difference, side by side sure symphony smell slightly better , and higher quality but not by much, and i hate clone this is the first one i have loved , hated ones include turathi blue ,rare reef,khamrah and many more bcz they just are poor quality ,island dreams is the only exception i have tried

Okay so first of all, everyone is lying that says its a bad dupe or smells like trash. The ONLY thing you can say about this is that the opening is more sweet atleast in my batch. After like 5 mins it just straight up smells like symphony to me. Im not sure if its the best one out there as ive seen mykonos reflection and concordia and from people i know those are very good. However, this alone is still very close and from what i can tell just as long lasting as the original (lasts days on clothes)

First smelled like a pungent lemon cleaner and alcohol. Then I macerated it for about 2 weeks and it has really blended well and I'm really getting grapefruit, ginger and musk. It's kind of monotonous and doesn't change much but I like it. Slightly leans feminine in my opinion. When comparing it with the og Symphony, id say this one lacks some depth, but I'm happy for the price I paid cus I got it for less than 20 bucks. Similarity: 85% Sillage: 2hrs strong Lasting: 6hrs Value for money: 10/10

The first couple sprays of this smelled exactly like pledge. I was horrified. Sprayed and shook it like 20 times. Let it sit for a couple weeks. Everything changed. Every time since that initial pledge horror I find the smell to be beautiful. It doesn't smell anything like pledge or any cleaning product. It smells amazing and Im glad Im giving it time for maturation. I believe it will continue to improve over time. 9/10 because deduct a point for the initial break in period.

One of the best blind buys I've made... and I've made a lot. Grabbed it coming home from a long road trip and couldn't stop smelling my arm the whole way. It's a bright citrus scent, a clone of LV Symphony. I love the citrus, and the bottle and atomizer shocked me for what this is. One heads up... it can get cloying, even a little headache-inducing, if you put too much on. Go easy with it. Used right, it's one of my summer favorites. Personal subjective score: 8.1/10

This is a grapefruit musk dominant fragrance with a little ginger in the opening great for the summer and spring very stong. comments saying they don't smell grapefruit must have a different fragrance or a knock off because this is basically a slightly tart white grapefruit juice Also last all day and night I still smell it on my chest the next morning. Had this fragrance for 7 months has gotten a little smoother but its just straight up delicious grapefruit

This is a really good fragrance, especially for that money. I love the fresh sweet grapefruit and the slight ginger. And i would also say its pretty long lasting for a freshie but it slightly lacks in silliage. But if youre looking for a good uplifting, fresh, crowd pleasing summer frag this is definetly a good candidate The bottle is also very nice and the atomiser is awesome! Smell: 9.5/10 Longevity: 6.5/10 Silliage: 5/10 Overall: 8/10

As a citrus lover, I couldn’t be more satisfied with a fragrance like this one. I have not yet smelled the original symphony, but if it smells anything like this fragrance then I am sure that it is amazing. Island dreams is so straight forward, this realistic grapefruit note really has depth to it, and it pairs perfectly with the ginger. I get around 7 hours of longevity with this fragrance, and for $50 CAD I couldn’t be more content.

The island line by khadlaj is one of the best in the middle eastern market. All of them project like monsters and and the atomizers are some of the best you can get. This is best grapefruit scent I’ve smelled, it’s a very realistic citrus scent. I usually dont like citrus heavy scents but this is a banger for the high heat or spring times outdoors It projects extremely loud and last forever definitely an outdoor scent.

Excellent value for the price, smells somewhat similar to symphony I actually think this is more mass appealing - I get an orange vibe alongside the grapefruit assume this is bergamot interacting with it the accord - summer and spring day time no brainer and a compliment getter that’s a joy to wear feels super clean, fresh, invigorating and fuzzy - worth it for sure

I really can't understand the people in the comments. It's a complete misjudgment. They expect a masterpiece from a product they paid $30-40 for. This perfume delivers exactly what it's supposed to. It's 90% similar to LV Symphony. Longevity: 8/10 Sillage:7/10 Fragrance Similarity: 9/10 Considering all other factors, I would give this product an 8.5 out of 10.

I dont own symphony but i have FA Pinnace (pacific chill dupe) and somehow the dry down is almost 1:1, only difference in the first hour opening. But i absolutely love this DNA so i have no regret getting similar scent profile. I've macerated it for 1 month+ and its the same as it first arrived so i guess it doesnt really need maceration

Beautiful citrus scent that I've only ever received positive feedback on. However, I am genuinely wondering if there is a difference between batches, as mine does not last as long nor projects as well as many people say. Still performs decently and it smells so good to the point that I really don't care.

After sitting for several months this is a monster performer. I get 10 plus hours with crazy projection. I agree with the comments saying it smells like a hotel lobby. I got this the week it came out but hadn't wore it in 3 or 4 months. The performance was already good but now it's fantastic. 9/10.

I exchanged my vanilla dunes for this and all i can say is WOW this is sweet candied citrus smell with an amber/ambroxan drydown This was love at first sniff although it does remind me of citrus air freshener it is a very pleasant stuff to smell 8.5/10 And it gets compliments too

This fragrance outta my whole collection gets me the most compliments it’s insane and after a whole 12 hour plus shift it’s still projecting and getting compliments. I liked it but I didn’t loved it at first like how I loved vanilla dunes but I have warmed up to it heavily 9/10

I own Symphony and just received my bottle of Island Dreams. I can 100% confirm that this is VERY similar to Symphony. I'd say a good 90% on the mark scent wise. Symphony definitely feels more complete to my nose and is a bit smoother overall BUT ID is a fantastic alternative.

This is my go to at the moment, its clean, not overpowering and doesn't make me sick like others i have in my collection even if u over spray its not a bad thing, the only thing wrong with it is that it doesn't last very long and becomes skin scent and maceration helps a lot

Island Dreams smells just like LV Symphony. I have smelled both scents side by side and on my skin and I can tell you what they were essentially a 1:1, couldn’t really tell that much of a difference to justify buying the $630 bottle vs $40. Island Dreams is 🔥

This came in the mail today... No maceration and it's already amazing. Smells like the cleanest Grapefruit dryer sheet you will ever smell. Its a 10/10 for smell, 8.5/10 for projection and longevity, and 10/10 for price. Overall 9.8/10 fragrance. I LOVE this.

I let it macerate for the past 6 months and gave it another try yesterday morning to see if it had gotten stronger. It’s now 10 PM the following day - over 36 hours later, after two showers, and I can still smell it on my arm. Insane longevity.

What a great summer fragrance, tbh haven't smelt symphony so I can't tell you if it's a great clone or not, but on its own this is beautiful, fresh juicy citruses that carry on for a while. If you love fresh sharp citruses get it!!!

This stuff is great for the price. My bottle is about 8 months old, so well matured by now. Never got that cleaner smell, gets smoother and better performance after a few months. Lasts 8+ hours on my skin. This deserves a 4.4/5

I was reluctant seeing all these reviews. Saw it at Burlington for $35, couldn't pass it up. I actually love it. Very nice citrus summer scent to wear daily and not care about using it so much that you need another bottle.

One of the best cheapies in my collection. So simple but so clean and refreshing at the same time. The grapefruit isn't harsh, it's soft and just so good and the musk in the background really elevates it. Insane fragrance

Bardzo dobre perfumy, otwarcie bardzo imbirowo-grejpfrutowe, podobne do Afnan rare reef ale z dużym dodatkiem imbiru co jest na plus. Potem bardziej mydlano-imbirowe z dodatkiem cytrusów, w ogólnie nie syntetyczny.

I feared this is would overrated with all the hype and delayed purchasing it. Turns out it is perfectly rated. Very easy to wear, performs well and does not smell like a cheap clone, which is relieving.

I think it is more heavy on ginger than the notes say. Someone might not like it, I was surprised by it at first, but it grows on me now I love it really good value for this kind of scent.

Lovely long lasting fragrance that offers exceptional value for your money If you are into Summer, fruity fragrances and after compliments then you could do a lot worse than choosing this.

Feels magical & too much addictive for me. On this price point, this is the best. Loved to wear any time. When i think about perfumes “Khadlaj Island Dreams ” comes out of my mind.
