Let’s start where it started Yum pistachio - weak Lattafa affection - weak Paris corner khair - strong, takes yum in a citrusy/fresh direction. Unisex. Luscious - medium strength, takes yum in a milky/creamy slightly powdery direction. Leans fem. I have not owned or smelled minya, I have smelled zimaya ineka Solis and I think I will buy. Now. This one by Khadlaj - if all of the others are “young/playful”, this is more sophisticated without being mature. Smells the highest quality out of all. I find Khadlaj/Swiss Arabian to be higher quality in general. Great projection, performance. It’s really enveloping. It makes me want to lean in and get another sniff. Althair has that “need to lean in again” quality and this has that too. Pistachio is absolutely there but less obvious compared to above. A warm, well blended, well balanced, nuttiness merged with sweetness. There’s a slight texture to this smell.. not baby powder texture, but like instant coffee texture, dare I say Gris charnel texture - not the smell - the texture. Yes a hint of earthiness like pistachio skins/shells. It’s just deeper and more complex. Unisex. For some reason I’m going to say it’s not a safe blind buy.. I think it’s because it’s more distinctive, more of a statement, more niche. I would definitely buy again. I do think it’s underrated. Incidentally, beautiful presentation box, should that matter to you. Heavy bottle. Non magnetic cap. Just spraying it here as I type. I can’t believe this is £29.

Oh very nice! Another great recommendation from Simin Shaikh. It bears a resemblance to Yum Pistachio and similar frags but to me this one comes over as more of a spiced custard, like the Malai Kulfi ice-cream bar mixed with a pistachio one. A very rich custardy vanilla. The first spray feels a teeny bit masculine perhaps but within a couple of minutes its sweet, but not overly so. I think it's a good unisex version of the Yum Pistachio DNA with a slightly spicy, richer caramel depth and doesn't end up soapy in the drydown like YP. All season appropriate but I will definitely be wearing this this Autumn. Comforting and warm, wonderful gourmand. Every Khadlaj blind buy of mine has been a success! ✨🍦

I have no clue what batch I have, but it smells black, sweet licorice! Like, unmistakable licorice, not pistachio. Very slightly smoky, anisy, licoriceroot... maybe even coffee! Not a bad smell, but definitely not my thing! This and Affection by Lattafa Pride were supposed to be similar??? I don't understand that. They share some notes, but Affection smells totally different on me - it actually smells cozy, nutty and creamy.

I have the old batch, its smells like tom ford ombre leather with amped up jasmine and other florals that almost headache inducing for me. More sharper, airy, gardeny quality than OL Ask your distrubutor if this is the latest or the older batches. Because yum pistachio and ombre leather smells absolutely nothing alike

IDK What batch I had got but I don’t like this AT ALL and to my nose it’s smells nothing like yum pistachio gelato or any of the other dupes for it I’m very disappointed I get a strong like powdery nutty scent it’s not sweet almost like hazelnut or something with some spice this will be thrown away in the trash
