Great parfume smells a lot of leather, very strong and its a male fragrance not for woman. 8/10

I love elemi and patchouli, iris and leather, and practically everything, but these were the notes that made me interested. The opening is a piece of wonder. It is stunning. Hard to tell the notes apart, I clearly smell the elemi, and the fresher notes merge into it, then the leather creeps into the foreground, first I even smell something like saffron from how the leather mixes with the aromatic notes. The iris gives it a wonderful but mild refinement or softness. The drydown is somewhat similar to Ombre Leather. I really want to know how it would smell with the iris amped up. I have a bottle of the amazing Cuir Iris, gift from a beloved family member, so I'm familiar with how these notes interact, but this is more aromatic. With time, it even goes close to the raggedness of Tuscan Leather. But as long as comparisons go, it's closest to Godolphin, due to the presence of the iris. The bottle is freshly opened, I'm curious how much stronger it will get. I like leather drydowns, but this opening is the strong suit of this fragrance for me, it is stunningly beautiful. Away with the gatekeeping, anyone whose taste runs along these lines should try and wear it.

Tuscan Leather minus the raspberry and a dose of elemi that makes it actually interesting. Not a huge performer but very well blended.
