Musk Pour Amber

You need both Musk pour Amber and Bayn al Asrar. They are different and give you different trips, but both are beast mode. Zara's version is more ambery. I don't like it that much; it smells old. From Musk pour Amber I get a lot of beautifull things that I can't describe, but it's perfect! It's not too sweet and it's strong without bothering. There is hazelnuts, flowers, pear, tree resin, a romantic walk into a fantasy forest. It's feminine, romantic, strong but also discrete, strong but also light, maybe watery... It's very complex. Bayn al Asrar on the other hand makes me want to inject it in my venes, or drink the whole with my nose. I don't feel it anymore after a few minutes and I spray more and more, all day. Musk pour Amber doesn't have this effect. It leaves me alone.

Stunning! This is super close to the OG especially upon 1st spray. It dries down softer, but is great if you use it over the OG and definitely in the same family. I LOVE GUIDANCE down to the ground and feel it is the best scent ever- but I can appreciate that I can wear this one to work without offending anyone. Beautiful purchase.

Got this as a comparison to Bayn Al Asrar in the battle of the Guidance wannabes. At first it is a lot sweeter but gets a little bit closer to Guidance the more it dries down. It’s a new bottle so may change, but isn’t as loud as Bayn, and that funky note is toned down too. Perhaps more similar to Guidance 46, easier to wear and probably more crowd pleasing/ less polarising. Sweeter and smoother than Bayn, for the days you want to tone it down maybe. Lovely fragrance but a little too sweet for me, so I tried a spritz of Her Confession over it - toned the sweetness down a notch and made it even creamier.

I loved its smell on my skin. it opens fruity but then settles down into complex musky vanilla, with hint of cedarwood and rose. but whenever I put it on my clothes it ended up smelling oily or honeyish as most reviews pointed. So from a dream fragrance it ended up being a disappointment to me.

This could have been gorgeous if it wasn’t for that one pencil eraser note and being too sweet

I would love to hear people comparing this to Bayn Al Asrar and Stelar Amber Zara, as I'm not 100% loving these and thinking if it's worth buying this one. I find the other two very harsh, would love to find something smoother and better blended. Also, where did you find it in UK as it seems tricky atm.

Creamy vanilla scent, however to my nose, there is something that smells minty which is putting me off the perfume, a harsh dusty minty note that just does not blend with the vanilla scent.

It's dusty, I don't know how else to describe it, and it doesn't have the magic of the original. Not worth the hype. Overall not bad, nothing special, just a simple perfume.

This reminds me of JPG Scandal by Night. There's no honey listed, but I get an heavy dose of honey. I dont get Guidance from this.

Best dupe of Amouage Guidance is Yodeyma Amira.
