Rose Couture

Rose Couture's development has been quite the roller coaster while sitting on my shelf for the last year, or so. When I first got it, I absolutely loved it... and rightfully so, as I bought RC because I love Delina Exclusif, I'm just not a fan of the pink PDM bottle. With that being said, after awhile and for the longest time, the juice kept drying down too powdery, creamy, vanilla for my liking. It was almost cloying. I went a few months without spraying it because I didn't want to feel like I couldn't enjoy a fragrance I bought to love. Well now that it has been over a year since I have had my bottle, RC is back to being that beautiful juicy, sweet rose with the perfect amount of creamy vanilla and just a touch of powder. I'm so glad the juice is back to normal. Spring will be here soon and I am ready to wear this beast mode rose beauty.

I did need to let this fragrance age for a month and maybe the perfume will continue to change. But initially, it was a loud rose and litchi. I was hoping the rose would tone down and the litchi wouldn't. But they both did. I still like it, it's a floral rose and litchi. I see a lot of people calling it too powdery, I don't think so. And i'm not getting a loud incense either. But I also enjoy powdery scents so I'm not the best to ask. I got it because I liked the idea of delina, but I never smelled it. But I got the opportunity to smell it today, it's not one to one but definitely similar. I would say Delina is overall more elegant, it's a perfect blend of all the notes. I would say this perfume has everything delina has, but in slightly different ratios which makes it overall less elegant

This was a hard one at first. Too much oud, too dry, too incensy, too all over the place. I gave it a little time and now, I think, it is what it was meant to be. Juicy, tart and green. In the middle just the right amount of incense and oud with a hint of that welcoming green all-the-lovely-flowers-in-bloom-in-the-room smell when entering to a florist boutique. The drydown takes one straight to a classy summer garden party in june in a beautifully tended estate, guests enjoying their freshly made rhubarb juice drinks and some tart berrypie surrounded by rose bushes and bouquets and sunshine. And this scentbubble party goes on all night long! Rose couture smells way more interesting and expensive than the 17€ I payed to get it. I like this one very very much. Or maybe it’s love?

To bellabae down below, thank you for your ranking! I’ve tried samples of Armaf Imperiale and Ameerat Al Arab Prive Rose. The first was much greener and not as creamy and rounded as Rose Couture, imperiale is spicier and not as sweet. The second was way fruitier and heavy on the strawberry note for me, which I didn’t like much. But Rose Couture? Oh my, it’s heavenly. Luckily the initial punch of bergamot quiets down almost immediately, the rose and lychee here are so well blended, rounded by the woody, ambery, vanillic base. I feel you could pair this with a stronger amber vanilla if you want to bring out the sweetness, but on its own is wonderful 😍. Elegant, elevated, not vintage smelling, certainly not a powdery rose which I despise. I love it!!

Rose couture has finally been added to Fragrantica 👏 This is one of my favorite scents, I prefer this to Delina Exclusif because the opening is fresher and less headache-inducing for me. Additionally, the dry down is VERY similar to delina exclusif, like 90-95% similar for a fraction of what delina exclusif costs. You get that creamy powdery vanillic rose with some sprinkle of bergamot and incense. I love that it isn’t super beast mode like Armaf dupe which makes it super versatile. It can be worn to bed, summer, events, etc. This retails for $25 for a 100ml while Delina Exclusif costs $350-$400 for a 75ml bottle. This perfume is also very similar to THOUQ BY LATTAFA, but still slightly cheaper.

i blind bought this cus i love incense and creamy rose perfumes, and i am very impressed. when i first opened it up it was literally just incense but after letting it sit on my skin for a bit it turned into this powdery citrusy rose. i tend to not like citrusy fragrances but the bergamot in this adds a kind of dept that i really like. sadly it doesnt last as long on my skin as i expected, but it lasts very long on my clothes which is nice. for this price i think everyone should have this in their collection, defo reccomend!! :)

Smells waaaaaay more expensive than it is. Might be too sweet for some women. But my 20 yo daughter loves it. And if you want more depth and maturity, layer/mix this 60:40 with Khadlaj Karus Secret Musk (the 40%) which have some similar accords. That combo transforms into a gorgeous scent that should have it’s own bottle, and makes it wearable even in winter time. It was just a lucky guess that turned into jackpot.

Rose Couture is Khadlaj's take on Delina Exclusif. If you love that DNA, you will more likely enjoy this. It is a softer take on the original, and it is not as bombastic as the Armaf's version. However, it is quite versatile and can be worn on occasions when you perhaps don't want your fragrance to project too much. As a rose lover, I love this and most fragrances with this type of scent profile.

i never smelled delina so i have no idea what everyone else is talking about for me it smells like as if you took a long shower and you can smell the body wash , not offensive but people can still smell it im obssesed with this perfume the only bad thing about it that it doesnt last for long

Wow, another Middle Eastern brand has finally made a dupe that beats Rose Couture, which has been my favourite interpretation of the OG for a while now. It’s called Samah Pearl by Riiffs. It’s sweeter with more lychee, less powdery, and definitely more potent than Rose Couture.

This feels like a princess sitting by an open window that overlooks the castle garden and there are fresh pink roses climbing up the wall. Very fresh, pretty, and romantic.

Total Delina dupe right up there with Delilah Not as refined as rose 01 but acceptable. I like it

I dont know about PDM Delina But the Rose in here feels so luxurious, powdery & fresh at the same time, the sweetness just right amount. My Wife really like it, versatile frags

Less juicy and tart than Delina Exclusif. More powdery and sweet. I enjoy both. Layer this with something fruity. The dry down reminds me of La Perla La Mia Perla.

It is not a bad scent, but it is too powdery for me to appreciate it

I love rosy perfumes, so I had high hopes for this.. but unfortunately, it didn’t quite deliver. I only get a faint rose scent when smelling it straight from the bottle, but on my skin, the rose almost disappears. The dry down leans too powdery for my taste, which makes it feel a bit flat. I also don’t get the Delina vibe that others mention. It’s not a bad scent, just not what I was expecting.

I already own this scent profile because I have Delina exclusif. If you are wondering whether to get Khadlaj or Club de Nuit Imperiale, Imperiale is so much better for longevity and power. Khadlaj seems to be a dupe whereas Imperiale is more unique.

Bergamot is very prominent here. Almost verging on a lime version of delina exclusive.

I wouldn't say this is the closest to Delina Exclusif. It's in-between Delina, Delina Exclusif and a bowl of potpourri. It has the Delina DNA, but the sourness disappears quite fast, revealing a dry rose petal smell, similar to what you can find in Cafe Rose from Tom Ford. It's not a very prominent smell, but it's neither modern nor fresh... it's basically potpourri. If you want a Delina Exclusif dupe, I'd rather go for Ameer Al Arab Rose Privée from Asdaaf (smells fresher and candied), or Safa from Arabiyat Prestige (beast-mode version of Delina Exclusif, which in itself is a beast...). Or Club De Nuit. The "similar to" section isn't lying - all of those scents ARE similar, but this is one of the worse ones to me - smells like slightly expired Delina Exclusif... Ameerat Al Arab dries down to a powdery and juicy smell, while Rose Couture smells dusty and kinda lackluster in comparison. If Delina Exclusif is a bit too much for you, maybe it's a better option though. Safa is the sharpest out of all of these, I think.

To the reviewer 3 reviews below. I have Delina Exclusif and Ameerat Al Arab. My bottle with Ameerat Al Arab smells 99% like Delina Exclusif. The only difference is that it doesn't give me a head ache, meaning the musk used is different. I also have Delilah, a full bottle. Delilah isn't a dupe of Delina Exclusive at all - it's very similar to the original Delina, without any powder, and with a sour note, just like Delina.

This is sweeter and more powdery than Delina Exclusif. Rose Couture is a creamy, silky, powdered rose. It sits in the category of sweet and bright rose fragrances. I destashed this as it was too powdery for my liking. Within the same category of approachable, luminous, sweet roses, with either a smooth amber or vanilla, I much prefer a non-powdery sweet rose-amber.

I've been duped by this dupe. I heard somewhere that this is a dupe for Delina La Rosee. It's not. It's Exclusif all the way. I wanted the fresh take on the La Rosee. This isn't fresh. At all. The powdery oud thing is not for me. Serves me right for not doing the research.

This smells like dry, old poppouri from a garage sale. I've even let it sit for a month, and it's still terrible.

Very pretty, very powdery rose scent, but it was an ambroxan bomb for me and I had to declutter it unfortunately.

20 years ago, I was very fond of Les parfums de Rosine perfumes. I got into Arabic Perfumes recently, quite accidently, due to their low price tag. Overall, I have been massively disappointed by them, be it scent-wise, longevity-wise or projection-wise . Rose Couture is one of the few exceptions. The opening is certainly quite harsh with this awful oud vibe, typical of Arab brands, but within seconds it disappears and all I am left with is memories of all these Rosine rose perfumes I used to wear and love. Rose Couture could easily be mistaken as one of Les Parfums de Rosine perfumes. I found a very good alternative in Rose Couture for less than 20€. Longevity and projection are surprisingly good on my skin. If you love rose scents, go and purchase Rose Couture!

I love Tuberose, Rose and Orange Blossoms perfumes. There are a zillion variations. Maybe more than a zillion. Khadlaj *Rose Couture* is a rose perfume....powdery (not overwhelmingly) with a hint of spice (Incense + Agarwood/ Oud) that brings it into Middle Eastern fragrance territory plus Pear and Bergamot which rounds it all out. That makes it....different. I layer it (every time I wear it) with a coffee (Coffee Addict, French Coffee, Cardamom Coffee) fragrance. It's great. Give it a schpritz.... give it a chance. PS: I've added Ouds and Tobaccos (I have a few extraordinary Tobacco perfumes) to my *Rose Couture* layering experiments // experiences; it works every time.

This is such an almost hit. It's slightly metallic and doesn't seem to linger on skin, but does last a long time on clothes. Does it smell like Delina Exclusif to me? Yes, certainly. Is it as creamy and enveloping, not at all. Perhaps because I keep mentally comparing the two it's preventing me from really enjoying this in it's own right. However, the main issue is that after the opening it sort of disappears so I keep respraying it and so it's more like a cheap but pretty bodyspray for me. I think this will be more enjoyable as a layering scent.

If you want to smell like the driest, strongest rose petals out there (the ones that fall from the flower), then this is your scent. I personally think this DNA has got to stop. It's SO loud and SO dry omgosh, especially in the case of Rose Couture, because it just lacks that prominent fruity note. I would choose Club de Nuit Imperiale over this one if you're looking for an alternative to Delina Exclusif. Otherwise.. YES, RC fills up the entire room (somewhat unfortunately for anyone with a sensitive nose).

Alright here we go, Delina dupe review #5. Last dupe I tried was Club de Nuit and I loved it. BUT. This one is even closer to Delina Exclusif. Both great alternatives. Club de Nuit is a little more green. This is sweeter and has more vanilla than CDN. Ranking of Delina clones: 1. Rose couture - Khadlaj 2. Club de Nuit Imperiale - Armaf 3. Delilah - Maison Alhambra (3 and 4 are tied) 4. Ajwa Roses - Nusuk (3 and 4 are tied) 5. Ameerat Al Arab Prive Rose - Asdaaf

I have and love Delina Exclusif so I was intrigued, but can somebody explain why this smells like straight up turmeric to me? I know I’m sensitive to turmeric so maybe I’m picking up on something others don’t detect? Anyway I’ve had it for a few weeks and it’s still all turmeric, so not bottle shock, but I just sprayed the heck out of it to hopefully clear anything that might be stuck in the nozzle & tube. Hopefully it will improve.

This is Rooh Afza syrup, or sweetened rose syrup with a swirl of condensed milk through it. Creamy, rosey, well blended. Not too warm or cool. Beautiful dry down and long lasting. Something an Indian princess would wear on the daily, and scent her hair in too. Beautiful rose fragrance and definitely a near perfect (if not better and smoother) dupe for Delina Exclusif.

Excellent dupe for Delina EXCLUSIF. I have Exclusif and the Armaf version. Armaf is my favorite but it's very bold and potent. Rose Couture wears softer, fresher, missing the incense depth. Beautiful bottle. I don't get a lot of longevity from this one though. Armaf and DE last much longer. $25 on Amazon on sale

Smells like original Dove soap. I like it, the secret is just spray once in the air and walk in it. Stays on clothes forever. Now it’s November and outside is raining and gloomy, the best time to use this gem and feel cosy. The bottle is beautiful of course

Shampooey rose , very citrusy too. Hmm not what I was expecting but I just cracked open the bottle, hope it settles a bit more from shipping. Was wanting something more creamier and deeper

Not delina, but Ladies its very similar to the kayali fleur majesty, almost a dupe . Long lasting and stroooooonnggg.
