Sawaar Vanille Blanc

Sawaar Vanille Blanc was a bit of a surprise for me and I ended up loving it. It opens with delicious powdered sugar over a generous amount of woods. I love woody fragrances and wasn't expecting them to be so prominent here! They are usually reserved for the dry down. I also get a faint burst of apple, though it's more of a tart green apple than a sweet, juicy one. The vanilla isn't hugely present at first, and this isn't a dark or sickly sweet vanilla by any means. The woods are the star of the show. They're warm, dry, and slightly pencil shaving like. Don't let that put you off though...it still manages to feel balanced thanks to the powdered sugar and apple. Thankfully the sandalwood never goes pickly on my skin! As it dries down, the woods soften and a creamy vanilla reveals itself. It's an interesting scent because it feels soft and cosy, yet still has a presence. I was hoping for a creamier, more vanillic opening, so i'll definitely put my bottle in maturation jail to see if it smooths out. Projection was better than I expected. It created a lovely personal scent bubble without becoming overpowering. I do wonder if the cashmeran behaves a little like ambroxan here, helping to project the fragrance? Longevity was excellent too and I got around 8 hours of wear, with faint wafts still lingering on my clothes the next day.

got a decant of this because of the mixed reviews. i looooooove it. gorgeous sweetness, it REALLY does smell like powdered sugar thats blending beautifully with some apple (not really pungent apple - just a tad bit of freshness). a bit woody, i get where the ''pencil shavings'' comment comes from but i actually do like it that hehe. its soooo soft. almost too soft, and thats my issue with it. i found a couple of comments that said it smells like empire victor, and that was my FIRST thought when i smelled it. it smells EXACTLY like it, but without the slight zestiness (wouldn't even say straight up lemon, as EV lemon isnt that strong to me) that it has. so for me, empire victor is a way stronger version of this with some zest added. i really can't justify buying the full size of this because i own empire victor, so i dont know. if you don't own empire victor then go for it! its beautiful, but this is not the perfume that's going to have people compliment you - its rather intimate; it barely projects to my own nose when i spray it on my neck. no scent bubble, really. P.S: decants generally smell better because the perfume has had time to macerate with the constant exposure to air due to pulling the perfume out the bottle. im assuming this is what the perfume is going to smell like AFTER maceration.

Oh yes! I may just have a new signature scent... This is very, very close to Vanilla Skin dna - so you get the vanilla, the slight spicy tone, the creamy sandalwood - but this is somehow a lighter, airier version even though the fragrance is stronger and longer lasting. To my nose this is actually even better than Vanilla Skin and I never imagined saying that because I adore VS! It’s sweet and feminine without being cloying (so is a warm weather friendly vanilla), and has enough light spicy wood to prevent it being boring and linear. The dry down is an airy, vanillary, musky delight and it lasts for *hours*. I’m talking 8-12 on skin and next day on clothing. Despite this the delicate ethereal quality of it makes it very office/small space friendly. It also layers beautifully with other scents. If you like Vanilla Skin, and/or Bare Sueded Vanilla, this isn’t just a safe blind buy for you - it’s a compulsory purchase. The quality of this fragrance is insane for the price point.

Very smooth from the get go. I do get a bit of fruitiness in the opening, it actually reminds me of Empire Victor a bit, even the type of the soft vanilla. The woodiness is really light very cashmere-like and after an hour it does smell like the drydown of Vanilla Skin edp. Vanilla Skin is denser sexier with a beautiful peppery kick in the opening, Vanille Blanc is definitely lighter and softer. But after an hour they start to smell alike. I would still never say VB is a dupe. Bare Sueded Vanilla is milkier and actually more woody than Vanille Blanc. Great longevity even on bare skin, nice projection in the first hour. All in all great everyday anytime vanilla. Edit: This has improved so much after just a couple of weeks. The lemony top smoothed out into a beautiful baked apple, the powdered sugar is really powdering now and the drydown has even more depth. Longevity still excellent, goes for days on clothes. Ordering a backup bottle. In love❤️

I got it today, so I am writing a review which may need an update. Even if there was a travel shock (in freezing temperatures), it is exactly what I expected it to be: the brighter and more powdery version of Bare Sueded Vanilla, less sueded and more bare, but barer than bare if you know what I mean. It is between Vanilla Skin by Phlur and Bare Sueded Vanilla. This also means that it resembles a lot the "bone structure" of Khadlaj Empire Victor, minus the citrus note. It is a woody, airy, marshmallowy vanilla with some barely detectable fruitiness lingering on to balance the woodiness. I like it a lot, because I also love Bare Sueded Vanilla and Empire Victor (both more than this perfume) and I wanted to have a more performant version of Vanilla Skin . It seems good performing from the get go, so I might not need to edit this review after all. Very Good: 9/10

This is EXACTLY Cheriosa 59, but with excellent performance. I finally bought Cheriosa 59 only to be horribly disappointed that it’s this, but weaker. Wearing both is pointless and no one can tell them apart on me. That said, Sawar Vanille Blanc is one of the few perfumes I thought I HATED for a couple months because it desperately needed to macerate, apparently. I literally found it offensive and nearly rage-unfollowed favorite YouTubers who recommended it. Then, weeks later, I sprayed it again on a whim, and now I can’t get enough literally every day. Any other perfumes I don’t quite love are usually improved by layering this. I love it so much I blind bought Cheriosa 59 because it’s supposed to be the same vibe, but no, it is LITERALLY the same, as a body splash vs perfume strength.

I was so excited to try it and i love it! This smells like a vanilla bean cupcake with powdered sugar. I dont get any strong woody notes, just vanilla but not a closing vanilla like a soft vanilla. The closest comparison is to vanilla cashmere by eos but a lil more refined. To be honest this smells like nebras elixir if you were to compare a fragrance to a fragrance. I would say that vanille blanc is just a little more rounded at the base with the slight woods that keeps its light and nebras elixir has that white chocolate vanilla bean slight warm end. But im talking about a 2% difference. If you love a soft sweet nuzzling type of fragrance like you wanna hug or cuddle into the scent this is it. I love it 10 of 10. Its definitely a very feminine nurturing loving scent

I had high hopes for Sawaar Vanille Blanc, expecting a soft vanilla fragrance. Instead, what I get is a very sweet and warm scent dominated almost entirely by sandalwood. The sandalwood note is quite strong and creamy, to the point that I struggle to detect any vanilla at all. Rather than a vanilla-forward fragrance, it comes across to my nose as sweet sandalwood from start to finish. It’s still pleasant and cosy, but not what I was hoping for when I saw the name and read the notes. At the moment I feel a bit disappointed, though I’m hoping my nose might adjust over time and the vanilla may reveal itself with more wear. Edit: I gave her a bit of time I LOVE HER! I even bought a Backup bottle. Not too sweet vanilla with a woody base. Buuuuy!

It had been more than a month now when I first sprayed this perfume and was sorely disappointed. It had an offensive pencil-shaving-like scent that made me think to declutter it eventually. But of course I gave it a chance in the closet for a few weeks. Trying it again and now I think it's very lovely. I can finally smell the powdered sugar & vanilla apart from the woody aspects which are all blended beautifully now. My nose locked onto the woodinesss in the beginning without smelling much of the vanilla/sweetnesss aspect. Now it's so comforting being surrounded by this scent. Btw it reminded me of Empire Victor without the lemon. I wondered if owning both would be redundant but I want to wear that perfume again in a few weeks to decide.

When I first received this a couple months ago all I could smell was pencil shavings so I put her in time out for awhile. I wore her for mother's day and she's definitely a keeper. All I can smell is a creamy, woody vanilla and I don't pick up the apple note. Sawaar is more of an intimate skin scent, your skin but better in a very sensual way, but extremely long lasting at least on me. I put this on about noon and at 9:30 the next morning I could still smell it faintly on my skin... amazing. I'm glad I decided to try this one and if you love vanilla I think it's a safe blind buy. This is one of those you spray on before you run out the door if you're running late and it's perfect for any occasion.

I wrote bad review for this perfume a few days ago, but I have to delete it because I didn’t give it a chance at all and only went strictly off my first spray impressions. I heard this is a dupe of Vanilla Skin and was expecting to smell Vanilla Skin, so when I smelled something different I got upset. I also wrote that it doesn’t project or last because I didn’t smell it on me. But ever since then I’ve gotten many compliments on this perfume! and I noticed it actually does last on my clothes. This is a lovely soft and powdery sweet scent. It’s similar to Vanilla Skin but it’s not a dupe in my opinion. Would definitely repurchase :)

I am just enamored with this perfume. The best way to describe it is ethereal, very cloud-like and sweet with some woody vanilla without being too gourmand. The apple in here is a whisper for that sweetness to come through, but what I really get from this is a hit of powdered sugar with vanilla and warm sandalwood coming in after. Just lovely. I didn’t find it to be a skin scent nor beast mode, just right. If you like Vanilla Romance from BBW, you’ll love this. Khadlaj is a good house, I find their packaging and pressurized atomizer to be one of the best and wonderful additions that elevate the experience of putting on perfume.

This is lovely! Someone below said it smells like Dulzura and it does, but with less cake and berries ! It’s a very grown up vanilla but not old lady or vintage, just not a caramel or cotton candy scent. It’s almost a spicy vanilla. It’s not in your face or overpowering, yet it is noticeable. I don’t get any apple at all, but it’s a new bottle so I’ll put it away for now and see how it develops. Edit: This actually reminds me a bit of Samsara, the original slim red bottle, not the new one. There’s less yellow florals, which for me makes it more youthful and wearable. I love it.

I held off on purchasing to let the hype die down. I love Khadlaj as a fragrance house but I was skeptical about another Vanilla scent. I just wants sure. I am pleasantly surprised!!!!!!! I really like this scent. On first spray, it seemed very very familiar. I went through some of the vanillas in my collection. These seem similar...khadlaj Cafe Latte, Lataffa Teriaq (but it has a caramel note); Swiss Arabian Vanilla01 (but more floral notes). I am glad that I waited to purchase and am pleasantly surprised. I would like to know how this compares to Khadlaj Panache????

I like this perfume, in fact I might “love it” but I wish it was stronger. Now, I have to be fair bc it has gotten stronger and I give credit to the maturation process. It will only get stronger, I’m sure. I don’t pick up the apple, nor the “powered” sugar. It is woody and warm, but it also has a light essence (maybe that is where the “powered” sugar comes in). It is super sweet but not cloying. Sheesh, after writing this description, I think I might love it. Simplistic scent profile: sweet, resinous, woody and a little airy. P.S. - I’ve had this since December 2025.

As usual, one of the classic cases where this was overhyped to the gods by influencers. If this is "one of the best vanilla releases" like many said, then I don't know what were the mediocre ones. This is REALLY a boring woody scent with a bit of vanilla in the opening. Dries down to a scent that resembles pencil shavings. For now I am not impressed but this is my first impression so I will come back with an update. Edit: I find it crazy how people voted down that it’s similar to this is Her, besides the chestnut note these 2 are very similar!

Gonna let this one macerate a bit because it worked so well for Panache angel dust. I do like how it smells but the vanilla needs to develop a bit more because all I smell right now is the powdered sugar with a hint of apple. Edit: still letting it macerate, but the past few times I’ve worn it, it’s definitely more for fall/winter. I live in Southern California so can’t really wear this in spring (we rarely get a spring) or summer. I do love it so I can’t wait for fall/winter to make this an everyday scent !

It indeed is Cheriosa 59 but this one is sweeter to me. And I can smell the woody notes in this, someone somewhere said: smells like fainted pencil shaving. Yes it does. But it does not smell gross to me. On my skin is smell mainly powdered sugar with hints of vanilla. Not overly sweet, but like a warm cosy sweet. I sprayed it on around 9pm to test. Could still smell it on my wrist 12 hours later, as a skin scent. I like this and will use this most likely to layer.

This is exactly the cosy, everyday vanilla I was searching for. It's soft and comforting without making you feel like a walking cupcake or sugar cube. Despite being quite a light fragrance, the woody notes give it depth and a touch of sophistication, making it feel elegant and effortlessly wearable. It's one of those fragrances you'll find yourself reaching for again and again. And I totally agree that it's the perfect hybrid of Phlur Vanilla Skin and Cheirosa 59💜

This is one of the most beautiful, smooth and powdery vanillas I have in my collection. It has great longevity, over 8hrs on skin and even longer on clothes. I wish I was picking up that apple note but I’m not smelling it. This fragrance was ready to go, straight out of the box... No need to macerate, but maybe I’ll get some apple after it does sit for a while. Overall, this fragrance did not disappoint. It’s definitely backup bottle worthy.
