Shiyaaka Sky

A quick first impression after receiving it in the mail and giving it a few test sprays. Right off the bat, you’re greeted with a clean musk paired with a prominent green floral accord. The orange and mandarin sit nicely in the background, adding just enough brightness without stealing the show. As it dries down, the sandalwood becomes more noticeable, giving the fragrance a soft, smooth finish. Overall, it has that fresh laundry detergent vibe that’s incredibly easy to wear and hard to dislike. It’s a very safe blind buy with broad appeal. Projection is moderate, and performance is about average, but that’s perfectly in line with the style of fragrance it’s aiming to be. This will be an easy grab throughout the rest of the summer, though I think it truly shines as a spring fragrance. It should perform just as well on warm summer days, making it a versatile, clean, and effortless wear. I rate this an 8 out of 10.

First impressions from first wearing (poolside lounging in 85 degree Summer weather)... Smells very good. Not much of a performer straightaway. My only experience with the OG was from a large decant used up a long time ago. I’d like to say how close it is, but I’d only be doing that from memory and not side-by-side. I will say, that it definitely brought me back to that DNA immediately. Hopefully this will strengthen as I use it, as of now it isn’t really all that powerful. For the 35 or 40 bucks I got this for it is decent Edit: Recent Guerlain Forte purchase included a new sample of HT (ironically). Passed some time doing a side-by-side with both of them, and they are definitely similar. Not 1-to-1, but close. If I really loved this scent profile, I'd absolutely spring for the Herbes Troublantes. But I don't really think the DNA deserves such a high cost, regardless of materials and blending...

Okay, so is this a good clone of HT? Sure. It hits the mark in the general scent profile. To me, Sky is lighter, and doesn't project as much as HT. It smells good, but the green notes don't feel as dense. This seems more airy, perhaps the name, Sky? Also, this does not last all that long (although neither does the original either). I maybe got about 4-5 hrs. with normal use. However, with heavy sprays and then a reapplication an hour later with a few more, longevity seemed to increase to about 6-7 hours. Don't get me wrong, this does smell good and gets compliments, but those hoping for something as good or better than the original will be disappointed. I'd give it a solid 8.3/10 for the smell alone. If performance were amped up and the notes were stronger/deeper I'd say this could have been in the 9s.

Bought this as I had a Herbes Troublantes sample and loved it. I decided to I was going to buy Herbes Troublantes but wanted to test this before I splashed that much cash on Herbes. The opening is a bit different, more citrusy and quite louder than the OG. However the dry down, which is favorite part of Herbes, on my skin smells almost identical. I would say it’s definitely worth it if you can’t justify spending close to $500 on the OG. Will be picking up a second bottle soon as I can see myself running thru the first one pretty quickly. While it is a fresh summer fragrance, I will def be wearing it year round as the Herbes DNA is very versatile for all occasions.

Such an easy reach. Do not let the color of the bottle fool you, this scent is pure green. It is incredibly fresh, bright, and vivid as if you just stepped out of a shower and wrapped yourself in a warm infused spa towel. The atomizer is really great, too. However, if you want a fragrance that projects, this is not for you. The projection is moderate at best. It also doesn't last very long, but I have compensated by overspraying it a bunch since it's cheap enough to buy another once my first bottle runs out (which I think it will). One of the rare instances where buying into the hype is worth it IMO.

Got it as a blind buy. It did not last long the first day I got it, and felt like it did not perform as well as I'd hope. However, after just 2 days of macerating, I tried it again, and surprisingly it performed amazingly well. If anyone wants to purchase this, I'd say that macerating is really needed, it needs to settle since it is still a new release. Maybe I'll edit this review after 3 weeks or so. I do love the scent of it. Overall, a great purchase. For now, I'd rate it 8.5/10.

I blind bought this because I own the rest of the Shiyaaka line. I'm going to keep it simple, this is a really nice airy, white florals with a hint of a green scent. It's far superior to the weak overhyped Shiyaaka snow. I'm glad this line is back on the right track.

I love this. Just got mine in the mail 20 mins ago. Initial reaction is citrus up front with super clean scent bubble. Definitely has depth to it. One small spray on my hand and its all that i smell around me. I cant wait to continue to wear this and let it develop

You can purchase 11 bottles of this, or one bottle of the OG. There is no difference noticeable enough between the two that can justify the gap if you look at it simply from a common-sense perspective.

This might as well be called shiyaka troublantes it’s so close to it. I love it. Great value. If you like green scents and herbes troublantes then it’s a fact you’ll love this.

Smells great. Clean herbal zesty citrus. But doesnt perfom long (2 to 3 hours) maybe will get better with time but so far i like it .

Personally, I don’t think this smells like HT, since it’s muskier, soapier, woodier, and not as dew-like. HT is significantly higher quality, greener, mintier, and ever so slightly more sweet...the musk in HT is also a bit more skin-like than Sky. Longevity and sillage is about the same for both, meaning, not that great. I get about 5-6 hours on skin depending on the day and it stays very close, less than an arms length once dry with about 8 sprays. Not surprising because the aromatics of this profile are simply not beast mode. This is great for running warm weather daytime errands or daytime activities (gym, brunch, coffee, gym, lunch, church, gym, so forth) where you only really need a few hours of longevity. In conclusion, don’t buy Sky because it a dupe of HT; fragrance snobs like me knows it smells different, and normal folks have no idea what HT even is. Buy it because it smells great and it’s only $50. This bang is worthy of your buck. 8/10 - I dig this.

Incredibly pleasant to the nose. I do not know how accurate it is to Herbes Troublantes, but if what you're looking for is an inoffensive daily signature, Shiyaaka Sky is it. I get lots of calming soapiness- not too dissimilar to Imagination-- as Sky begins to dry down. It's not particularly "green" to my nose. Memo Italian Leather is pretty green-- not Shiyaaka Sky. My daily for this summer has been wu long cha, imagination, ADG parfum (2024), and now this. Performance is abysmal, but that's fine considering how cheap this is. Just bring a decant with you, and reapply throughout the day. Simple. You'll get about 3 working hours of Shiyaaka Sky, and then it's essentially gone, even on clothes. That's it. So, if performance REALLY matters to you, I'd skip this. How something smells is more important to me than JUST performance, so Shiyaaka Sky will be a mainstay in my collection. If you like Imagination, then you're going to love this.

Just got this in, Herbes Troublantes is very expensive and I’m in love with it, and I can see the differences. This is a very new fragrance so it definitely has to macerate because what I’m getting is Torino 21 vibes with more green notes. Very Minty, Greeny, Neroli. This is some powerful stuff. If it can sit and blend into itself this will definitely be something to add to the collection. The OG it very well blended and isn’t this strong and it doesn’t last as long as this so far, but I don’t want to call it so early but if you want it softer the OG is the way to go. This is good tho I like strong powerful fragrances like this but it definitely gotta sit. But again if you tryna save that money, you know what to do. Gotta try out the new Atralia Ice and see how that holds up to the OG. Will update soon

Let's see, I was expecting more from this cologne. It is overrated, it is not bad at all, just that my expectations were really high. It smells like a man who just showered. I can scent a tea note but nothing impressive. I was expecting it to be more like imagination, but now it is nothing compared to it. For the price, it is a good value, but as I said, nothing impressive. Now the performance, oh Jesus, this lasts on my skin literally no more than 2 hours. I sprayed it around 2 p.m. and by 4, I couldn't smell anything. It is not better than LV Imagination . In my opinion. It smells completely different. To me, it smells closer to some blue fragrance like CH BADBOY than imagination.

After testing this fragrance for more days, my opinion has shifted. I received multiple compliments at work. While I still don’t find it particularly impressive, it did earn me compliments. I also read that you need to let it set for 1-3 days for the fragrance to perform better. After testing it out for a whole weekend, I can confirm that this is true. On the first day, it lasted no more than 2 hours, but now it lasts around 5 hours. It’s not a fragrance that lasts all day, but it’s not bad either. I just reapply it in the afternoon, and that solves my issue with its performance.

I just got this in today. As other reviewers have stated, this is a very light, and airy fresh scent. Easy to wear, but in my opinion also pretty forgettable. For $40 bucks, it's an 8/10. Longevity will need to be determined still as I only put it on an hour ago - but based on the dry down so far, I would say performance is average at best. Happy I bought it, not sure I'll rebuy once its drained.

First impressions when I received my bottle 7/26/26 Something is overly sharp and synthetic, I can smell the freshness and airy nature it is trying to have, but I think due to it being such a new bottle, it needs some time to macerate and mature. I need more time with this because I really want to like it, I just need to give it time and more wears to understand it better.

When first sprayed, it smells like rubber balloons enough to make me feel nauseous but after about 30 minutes, the rubbery note fades quickly, and the overall scent becomes very pleasant; I prefer this one over Shiyaka Snow.

Clean baby ass... powdery musky herbal green. Simple nice clean out of the shower scent. Like it 7.5/10

I don't know if it's just me, but this smells very similar to LV Imagination.

Powdery, soapy, herbal. A little feminine, a little toothpaste-y. Doesn’t last more than a few hours. Underwhelming. I don’t hate it but feel like I’m trying to convince myself to like it. Haven’t tried the Atralia that’s also duping Herbes Troublantes (pronounced Airb True Blahnt btw), but it supposedly smells better, projects more and lasts longer than Shiyaaka Sky.

Just unboxed this last night. Its strange. Don't love it yet. Its ok. Very minty, very green, citrusy musk. I will let it macerate and revisit in a few months.

Imagine paying boat loads for 2 “big” influencers, who are supposed to know what people want, to create and hype a product only to come up with something that’s just ok in scent, with the same terrible performance as the OG 🤦

Haven't got a decant yet, so I'm not commenting on this one (yet), but before inflating the paycheck that Fragrance Flan will get by Khadlaj, just know that Mugler Cologne (Come Together) smells VERY SIMILAR to Herbes Troublantes, costs 50€/100ml and was released 25 years ago. Also, if you don't mind spending some more cash, Nio by Xerjoff is also a very close match (with less sweetness and a more tangy citrus top), lasts a whole lot longer, came out 15 years ago, and you can find it on discounters for 180€/100ml. This is for everyone who was brainwashed into considering HT to be some king of life altering scent and really thinks the clone will be the greatest thing in their wardrobe. HT is great, the DNA has proven mass appeal for decades, and Shiyaaka Sky is also probably quite decent. But, if Fragrance Flan really thought HT was so amazing, he would have presented you with the alternatives that were already in the market FOR YEARS.

I like it, it's a really nice fragrance it smells clean and fresh while being very herb forward its a good buy, but in a sea of fresh green scents its forgettable. it is different from the current trends, but it is still nothing special, and i don't mean that in a negative way. i know better or best is subjective; this is just cool. It's not different enough to move the needle as a summer scent middle eastern fragrance. Take Ecessnce de blanc by French Avenue; it's from the imagination tree but so much better at standing out. 7.5 on scent, 6.5 on performance. This will get worn this summer; it's a great office scent, perfect for indoors. Reapply in 3 hours.

Going to review it as it’s own fragrance as I haven’t smelt HT to give a comparison. For the money this smells fresh, citrus, slightly minty but also slightly screechy. Don’t really get any reference ton Imagination comparison which I do have and love. What I can say however from initial testing on skin is it has very little projection and doesn’t last very long at all. Will probably chuck it in my gym bag to do me the 30 minutes home in the car but I can’t see it doing much more than a role like that to be honest. Pretty glad it didn’t cost more than £35

I tried Herbes Troublantes in the store, and Shiyaaka Sky smells almost exactly the same. The only difference I personally get is that Sky smells a tad more milkier to my nose. But apart from that, what a masterpiece this is. Wow! You won’t regret buying this. Please note that the performance absolutely sucks, but you should expect that because of the scent profile. Maceration might help since it’s a new release. Mine just stays as a skin scent and does not project at all.

Up there next to dior homme as a top pick casual scent or office scent. If a rainyday happens to come my way this will be my immediate grab. Imagine the cirtus scented floormop cleaner you have in your cleaning cabinet but much smoother, way more refined, and with a ”green” newly watered garden-like scent lingering on in the background If your looking for a new soap freshie, get this its beyond worth it Scent: 9/10 soap freshie Sillage 6.5/10 Longevity: 4 hours

Light, airy, green herbaceous scent. This stuff isn't very strong but that's fine as I personally wouldn't want this type of profile projecting monstrously around people. I will say, however, that you get a sense of pleasantry while wearing. Clean, soft linen type of feeling with that earthy accord. I can see the appeal for this fragrance. I'll continue to test it out during the summer and see how performance is. Right now, a strong like for me. 7.5/10.

I have a lot of green fragrances, but this is definitely the freshest, cleanest one I’ve got. My mind might be playing tricks on me, but I’m getting a minty vibe, and I’m not the hugest fan of mint in fragrances, but that’s probably just the sharpness of the neroli and florals. Overall, I think it’s one of the better Shiyaakas. Not my favorite yet, but I could see it growing on me.

Spring/Summer Perfection. The thing that makes this fragrance so fantastic is the balance. Not too citrusy, not too floral , not too herbal. Just a beautiful scent and perhaps the best in my collection. There is nothing quite like it. A Khadlaj masterpiece dupe of a fragrance, affordable, incredibly smooth, and perfectly unisex. Decent longevity and projection.

Having tried this, it's respectable, pleasant but decent performing fragrance, some are speculating it's a take on Guerlain's Herbes Troublantes. It might seem like that but it is it's own thing, think of it as cut from the same cloth but not a copy, rather a faint twist. Overall, a very nice fragrance. :)

I don't do reviews but it is around 50% to 60% close to Herbes Troublantes, has a bit of alcoholic smell in the beginning and heavier green aromatic in the dry down edit: I don't know what they did with this but og lasted longer the heck

Smells better than I expected, definitely citrusy, musky, and fairly green with a touch of orange blossom. Smells very clean and elevated, almost like a scented hot towel you’d get at a spa.

In the Netherlands we have this kind of air freshner we use when you took a large dump. I cant unsmell it now .
