This is probably the most authentic animalic oud I've ever experienced! If you're looking for a dirty, funky, barnyard oud then this is for you. The notes are so straightforward, basically it's oud, saffron, amber and Jasmine, there is a slight medicinal note at times... This is not a safe blind buy and only for people who like that raw, natural oud profile. I love it!

I really wanted to like this fragrance and gave it several tries, but there’s just something about the dry down that I can’t get past. It turns into a scent that reminds me of bug spray, once I noticed it, I couldn’t un-smell it. The opening is more promising, with an authentic oud vibe mixed with piney, green, spicy notes and a touch of sweetness. But as it develops, the magic quickly fades. When I did a side-by-side comparison with Arabian Oud Blue Oud, the difference was night and day. Blue Oud smells classy, smooth, elegant, and beautifully blended, while Wild Indonesian comes across as rough, synthetic, and cheap by comparison. Of course, it’s not a fair matchup considering the price gap, but both are oud-forward fragrances, so it’s a natural comparison to make. To its credit, Wild Indonesian does deliver a taste of the oud experience at a budget-friendly price. But ultimately, you get what you pay for. Final verdict: if you want truly beautiful oud, there are no shortcuts or substitutes, you’ll need to open your wallet and invest in quality.
