Oud Ateeq

I had to redo this review after many wears of Oud Ateeq. This is a spicy minty oud fragrance. The opening is lovely, fresh musk with soft earthy dusty oud, and a nice (almost itchy) incense spiciness, then it develops into sweet woods with bits of vanilla and caramel. The dry down is soft woody and minty scent with a hint of sweetness coming from the caramel. It is such a beautiful smell and beautifully blended. I get compliments with this one. The projection is quite nice within arm length, and the longevity is superb. To give you an idea, when I spray this on my clothes and put them in my wardrobe, 2 days later I open the wardrobe and I get a blast of the beautiful oud and mint in this fragrance. It's perfect for office, casual outings, spring and summer time, indoor situations. You can certainly overspray with this one and will not be offensive. The price is very good for the quantity, love it. I don't think that there are a lot of fragrances with the same scent profile like this one on the market. Highly recommended.

I am 5 hours into this and not sure why it received poor reviews. Its base notes are sweet oud and a woodsy cinnamon. The top and middle are nice too. My apologies but I don't remember specifics other than I liked it. The sillage is not super strong but enough. This would be good for a subtle hint to be noticed. This will probably make it into my regular office rotation. Please leave specifics on why you like or don't like something. It is the only way for all of us to learn. Thanks, Jake
