Beirut Baklava

This reminds me a lot of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille except with a bit more spice. I get a lot of honey in this, very sweet but also a little spicy. It does remind me a bit of a pistachio traditional baklava but I do wish it had more of a rose water or orange blossom note because that’s one of my favorite flavors in baklava! Edit: I’ve worn this quite a bit recently, and I definitely plan to get a full size soon. (I got the travel size initially). I do still wish it had stronger orange blossom to give it more of a baklava note. But it dries down a bit less sticky sweet compared to the opening. If you like TF Tobacco Vanille you’ll enjoy this. I love this perfume. I’ve never smelled anything like it. I was a bit worried about the leather note bc leather tends to ruin perfumes for me personally. But this is just better than what I expected. It’s sweet and warm and light. Not heavy at all. And it last more than a few hours on my skin. Last longer on clothes. It goes well with Kheir’s guilty pleasure.

I have a small decant of Beruit Baklava. I have to say this fragrance is so addicting. It’s is sweet but not overly sweet. It’s airy and creamy and a bit buttery in the best way possible. The orange blossom drifts in and out making this scent much more interesting than a typical gourmand. I really must get my hands on a full bottle.

Everyone reviewing this on TikTok is saying it smells like bianco latte but pistachio, but the top note votes seem to indicate it’s mostly floral? Can everyone who’s tried this please vote for the notes so I know if I should order it? Thoughts on if it’s floral? Thanks :)

I like soft gourmand, gourmand-adjacent fragrances, so I was a bit nervous looking at the notes because I thought it was going to be cloying. It’s not! It’s somehow airy and creamy. It’s summer but I’m wearing at today at home. It’s a cozy kinda day.

Love love love this one! It’s beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. On me I’m smelling a baked goods vibe, but not in a juvenile way, with a lot of cinnamon coming through. Will be buying a full bottle for sure

this smells like a creamy mint on my skin. I don’t get the bianco latte comparison. it’s not overly sweet on me.

Beirut Baklava is a PERFECT vanilla gourmand for summer. It's light, airy, and even a little bit fluffy! This is definitely more vanilla-forward, than baklava or pistachio, but I can absolutely smell the pistachio under there somewhere. It opens up nice and bright thanks to the bergamot, which is another reason this is a great summer gourmand choice. There's definitely some powdery undertones here as well, likely thanks to the heliotrope and musk. Finally, after about an hour, that leather note really starts to emanate which really gives some much-needed interest. Also, the bottle and packaging?? PLS!! It's EVERYTHING!! The only disappointment for me is the longevity and projection - it's sooo weak :( I feel this hardly lasts an hour, truly. It definitely sticks on my skin, but I actually have to stick my nose on my arm to smell it. Overall, I don't think this is anything revolutionary or that hasn't been done a million times, but it's nice! I'll absolutely wear and enjoy every last drop. Although she could never compare to guilty pleasures - now THAT is a work of art. Rating: 7.5/10 EDIT: It's not like bianco latte at all in my opinion... in fact, I always thought 7 Minutes was very similar to Bianco Latte but not as good. But I geniunely don't know why people are comparing BB to bianco latte. This is WAY lighter

I'll start off by saying this is a beautiful fragrance. When first sprayed, I can smell the nutty warmth of pistachio and the syrupy deliciousness of vanilla and honey. There's also a sweet cherry-esque smell as well, that isn't listed in the notes, but I love. This stayed like this for about 15 minutes. Upon dry down, this becomes much more masculine. The notes of leather, tonka, cedar and amber come barreling to the forefront. For me, this isn't exactly what I hoped it would be. I wanted more whipped cream, more gourmand, more girly, but honestly, that's on me. I will wear this going out in the evenings when I want a more spicy unisex moment, especially in fall and winter, but my husband is excited to wear it as a daily. He had an immediate smell memory association of his father's cologne from the 70's but he said "make it expensive and elevated." I'd say that's a positive review if I ever heard one. also, I wear bianco latte as my daily and this is not remotely the same on me.

This is a really nice fragrance; so far it's the one I like the best from the Kheir line. I was pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting to like this since I wasn't all that keen on the others. This is a soft, sensual scent with top notes of citrus and something almost minty, which could be the cardamom or cedar. There's a lovely, soft vanilla and woodiness in the base. This scent would be perfect for a work setting as it wouldn't offend anyone. It's comforting. I'm hoping it will deepen in time as I've just received it, so I will let it sit for a few weeks and see how it evolves. Overall I'm glad to have this in my collection.

honestly thought this was just another sol de janeiro rip in a pistachio-loving trend market BUTTT. it does dry down into a pleasant, cakey gourmand. yummy! still, i wouldn't say it's all that unique or even that addictive. just smells like a sweet and pretty college girl who shares a sephora account with her mom. will probably wear it again sometime.

I really like this perfume. It reminds me of Bianco Latte A LOT, but I actually prefer this as I didn't love Bianco Latte. To me its like a softer, less synthetic Bianco Latte with the added pistachio note (pistachio is subtle, but lovely). It is not as beast mode as 7 Minutes and Slow Sip, to me this is a much more intimate scent.

Gourmand without being cloying, it feels more masculine/neutral than most sweet smells. Doesn't make me hungry like many gourmands do, but that's probably a knock for some folk. A bit lotion-y at times though.

A pistachio flavored Bianco Latte. It’s nice sure but do we need it?

After sampling this house it’s has become very clear it’s a dupe house masquerading as a niche house. First, 7 minutes is clearly a more ambergris heavy clone of Silky Woods and now this one (Beirut Baklava) is clearly a clone of Bianco Latte. Yes, the opening is different than BL with notes of pistachio but within 5 to 10 minutes of spraying it, this dry down is 95% similar to BL. I have no issues with clone houses making a clone with a “twist” but at least be honest about it. A perfect example is Neeb (Aromatix) x French Avenue. He clearly discloses he makes “twists” on clones of popular fragrances and even tells you what they’re inspired by so you know full well what you’re getting when you purchase one of his collabs, he doesn’t treat the consumers like idiots. Don’t piss on me and call it rain, ya know?

I don’t understand the reviews. This smells nothing like Bianco Latte to my nose, except they both have vanilla and tonka. BL is a thick heavy syrupy sweet vanilla candle (that I quite enjoy, I’m not bashing it). Beirut Baklava is light and airy and not too sweet. It has a fluffiness like the whipped cream note and is beautifully spiced with cardamom and toasted salty pistachio. You get the flaky puff pastry with no cakiness. And the heliotrope balances and rounds out the sweeter notes. As one exhausted by all the BL and Escapade Gourmand adjacent fragrances, and not interested in anything else Yum Pistachio direction, I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s gorgeous.

I don't get the BL comparisons. This perfume doesn't have the milkiness that carries Bianco Latte. It has a baked goods smell to it that's like a flakey pastry to my nose. The pistachio is dessert-like and not nutty in ways like DS&Durga and Kyse. It's almost like a pistachio ice cream or pistachio semolina cake. It's in no way similar to Pistachio Gelato by Kayali, I would say they sit on completely different sides of the pistachio spectrum. The citrusy notes are still vibing throughout the fragrance as it sits. It settles into a warm cloud that's coming out of a bakery. Well-done fragrance.

For Beirut Baklava I I purchased a 10 ml size. Because I already have full bottles of 7 minutes, slow sip and Pretty please, and was disappointed about the longevity/projection. Glad I ordered a travel size for BB. I love the fragrance, it’s really a gourmand fragrance, but also on this the longevity is a bit weak. For an Extrait de parfum, it should be better. On my skin I can smell it for 5 hours. Again: I truly hope this Fragrance House creates better and stronger fragrances with a better projection and creates perfumes that will last longer on the skin.
