Pier NY

Been waiting for this to appear on here so I can review it haha!! This stuff is lovely! Violet, fig, salt, and seaweed are the foremost players here. Like most of the house's scents (of which I own 4), they don't last a very long time but project really well with nice silage too. This is a truly - and I don't use this word lightly- unique fragrance, and original take on an aquatic scent. I don't have anything to compare it to and neither do my friends and colleagues from whom I have received many compliments. Definitely for the summer months rather than an all-year-round, and I also think it's better for the daytime but it's one I will definitely be picking up again once the seasons change. EDIT: Would say its a unisex scent, but is probably the most masculine scent the house has done so far.

Oh god that drydown is so goood. Like fresh clean laundry drying in the ocean sun and breeze!! 10/10 for scent, longevity is decent and lasts longer than other aquatics at 6-7 hours, 7/10. Sillage and projection I don't know yet, but not beast mode. Fruity, minty, floral, coconutty, creamy, cool, but FAR from blue!

Fig and salt, blended to portray the ocean on a breezy sunny day. Not particularly complicated but decently done. Very similar to jo malone wood sage and sea salt. If you like this sort of scent profile but want a more complex fragrance, i would recommend zoologist seahorse. This one is kind of like a more simplified version of the seahorse. I have tried all offerings from Kierin NYC, and own some, this is probably my most favourite of all. While i agree that their price point is good, their fragrances arent particularly intriguing, and would say the brand is a good introductory niche house, but for those who have experienced a lot, their offerings wont be of much interest to you.

Pier NY is lovely, it does slightly remind me of Womanity. The fruitiness here is not overtly fig, it actually smells more citrusy to me. On me, I pick up mostly sage, salt, seaweed, eucalyptus, and the woody notes. Perfectly unisex. I like this kind of herbal woody aquatic more than a straight aquatic.

This smells good. It has all the notes listed easily detected. The salt is light. Green elements are present. Very fresh. Very unisex. Not groundbreaking but get it for a good price and it is an easier to wear cousin of megamare. Green aquatic with better longevity than its closely resembled cousins pacific rock moss , megamare, sex sea.

This is probably my favorite from the house. It does have a similar vibe to wood sage and sea salt. I would say it's more sweeter and has the interesting seaweed note. Woodsage and sea salt is more calm and soothing, this one is more uplifting and sunshine.

Genuinely surprised this is rated as mostly masculine. This smells like a gorgeous woman's hair.
