Sunday Brunch

So special it made my Christmas Short List and landed myself two 50ml bottles (they don't sell 100mls, it seems) with their Holiday Set. Gonna rock this as my signature fragrance for Spring/Summer 2020 before this scent goes viral. This is not a ringer for Tom Ford Venetian Bergamot, has more smooth sophistication than Le Labo's Bergamote 22, but its amazing how this house has created something that gives all the $$$ brands a run for their money but at an affordable price. I don't know how they have done it but I'm sold on this fragrance and brand.

This is a very different kind of citrusy scent. There is nothing sweet about this fragrance. There is a hint of floral in the dry down- the jasmine- that emerges. It lasts about 10-11 hours on my skin. I get the most compliments in the first 4-5 hours of use but enjoy the dry down for myself. This is a sophisticated scent for sure- something to wear when going out on a date or to an event. Perfect for a Sunday Brunch, as the name says. Something to wear when I want to be noticed. I would not consider this a fragrance for the gym or work.

IMHO one of the best citrus tea’s out right now. It last ages for a citrus and the combination and simplicity of the notes just work perfectly together. It is neither feminine nor masculine and I’m very happy to own it. All in all 9.2/10

Fantastic version of a lemony tea perfume, very refreshing. Sunday Brunch is heavy on the lemon along with the tea - it does smell like earl grey tea leaves, but I tend to drink my earl grey with milk, so it doesn't really remind me of actually sipping earl grey. More like just smelling the refreshing scent of the leaves, anticipating making some tea, maybe you've even brewed some but I haven't finished making it with my milk and sugar. It's very bright and uplifting, and smells less like Sunday brunch to me, and instead a sunny morning on your own, about to make some delicious tea at the beginning of a summer day. I have used up a travel spray of this - their travel sprays are affordable, especially on sale, but they are a little on the leaky side, so keep that in mind when you travel with them. The brand is super kind, though - I had ordered just this one, but there was a delay, so they sent me three of their other travel sprays for free. That was above and beyond generous of them. Can't wait to try the others!

There's a definite spice to this scent. It almost seems like ginger? It's a nice fresh scent that stands out a bit from the "fresh" crowd . . . At least at the start. Unfortunately, it just doesn't last. Same scenario as most freshies. It also loses it's unique edge quite quickly. The tea and bergamot is a very refreshing combo. And it's thoroughly unisex without leaning one way or another. I don't get sweetness from it, but it's also not overly tart, thanks to the floral undertone. If you're very interested in fresh scents, this is not a bad one to try. For me, I'll enjoy my decant and move on. It's just not special enough.
