Killer Oud

Paris Corner really did a great job capturing interludes vibe in killer oud. When I first smelled Interlude, i loved it but the price was way out of my league. Being able to enjoy that same dark atmosphere for this price honestly feels amazing. For me, Interlude is the scent of an evil magician in a dark fantasy movie. It’s mystical, heavy, and atmospheric. Like burning herbs, woods, leather, and patchouli during some kind of ritual. Very dark, very intense, very dramatic. That said, this is definitely not a blind buy if you don’t know the Interlude DNA. It’s a challenging, polarizing oriental fragrance. It opens with burnt oregano, and spices, then evolves into a dense, heavy blend of patchouli, leather, woods, incense, and more spices. If you already love Interlude, this clone is amazing for the price. If you’re not familiar with that dark, smoky DNA — test first. Of course they're not 100% same if u test them side by side, since the original is stronger, smokier, spicier and a lot more complex, but you can't really complain for the price. Also the incense and oud feel a lot lighter and less "in your face", making this perfume lighter and more wearable than the original. The best and most unique part of interlude is the "burnt oregano" note imo and paris corner captured it very nice 8/10

#909 in my "Tour de Fragrance" So guys: Ard Al Zafaran "Midnight Oud", Armaf "Supremacy Incense", Swiss Arabian "Shaghaf Oud Abyad" are not dupes of Amouage "Interlude Man." Supremacy Incense comes closest of the three. But this Killer Oud scent is a killer clone for sure! If you don't like spicy incense scents this isn't for you. I was happy to find something that leans very oriental without so much rose that you smell your grandmother. Interlude Man is a great scent, and I got my bottle at a nice discount, but it was still $100 more than this Paris Corner brew. So if you like the Interlude Man DNA , this is it for a lot less money. For myself I've moved on to Amouage "Interlude Man Black Iris." The Iris makes such a difference as it overwrites all that hint of pencil shavings smell these scents all have (and it was a gift from a woman that really should be on the runway in the highest end fashion shows, so...). But this scent always gets massive compliments from women. And this clone has the same staying power and projection at $35, so I don't think you can go wrong with this. I think it's a scent for date night, not office wear, but you be the judge. It's not going to offend anyone unless they/re trapped in a Fiat with you.

I bought this because of the review by JusttheFactsMan, which described it as a “killer clone” of Interlude Man. I agree, this is pretty good! When compared side by side with Interlude Man, they are distinguishable. It kind of replicates the Interlude DNA, probably more so the dry down than the opening. However, if you like the original, this is not a replacement. Overall, this is a great fragrance! Due to the price difference, I use this to save on the real Interlude Man. You have to be relatively confident to wear this, as it is a strong, spicy fragrance, just like with the original Interlude Man. But I agree that this is easier to wear than the original.

I like it more than I like any other clone or the original. The nutty note puts it above others.

Ok. I blind bought this for $30, delivered. I blind buy basically everything and this did not disappoint. This is unique. Not your everyday type of scent. But it's not off-putting or cloying (at least to my nose). The first 30 minutes you get oregano, allspice and black pepper. I mean it's just a spice heaven. After it settles down you get alot of incense & smoke. The smoke can be interpreted as slightly heavy. The incense cuts the smoke a bit. As time goes by (3-4 hours) it slowly but surely settles into a really nice, sweet, subtle incense type of scent. The smoke is still there but it's in the background and not as obvious. Then comes some subtle wood notes. This is really nice. Really comforting, really soothing type of scent. I wouldn't call it a beast but it is more strong than subtle. 6 hours in and I can still smell it but it's subtle. I get it when reviewers say it's a cold weather scent. But make no mistake: You can wear this in the late spring and early fall. No worries on that. I wouldn't wear it in the summer (June, July, August in the northeast, USA) but if you insist, it has to be on a cool summer night. One more thing: More for a mature crowd. You could wear it if you're in your 20s. No worries. But definitely more mature.

This is almost the best of the Interlude clones yet falls flat for me. It has some of the best complexity and legibility out of all the clones, yet the fruity bergamot note is too dominant. It's not just a bergamot--the note lasts forever and has some melon aspect that I find a little dissonant and powerful. Great performance otherwise, but the balance is off for my taste. If you love Interlude and always wanted MORE bergamot/fruit, this is hands down the clone you want.

This is as masculine as frags can get. It's strong. Very spicy. Definitely for a more mature crowd. I wouldn't really wear this in my early 20s. Has a resemblance to talcum powders that my dad used to use. Projects and lasts at a beastly level. Not a safe blind buy but overall a very high quality scent. They did a good job here. It's an acquired taste to say the least but nothing majorly off-putting. Just a strong, masculine and mature scent.

This is like a more wearable version of Amouage Interlude Man. The strength is dialed back but the proportions remain and it isn't at the expense of the longevity. It's smokey but you aren't choking on it. The original is like standing next to a bonfire and the wind changes so you choke on the smoke. This is like being on a hillside, distant but able to smell the same bonfire. pleasant, smokey. It is hot today and this is perfectly wearable.

Received this one by accident instead of Killer Oud Death which I ordered. Pleasantly surprised and decided to keep it. Not a crowd pleaser or sugar sweet vanilla bomb. This one will take confidence to wear!

I've been wanting an Interlude clone for a while now and decided to give this one a go. After having smelled the original, it has been a few months since I last sampled it. Upon spraying Killer Oud, after a few minutes, I was immediately reminded of Amouage Interlude! I don't own Interlude Man to do a direct side-by-side comparison, but in the air and on skin, Killer Oud definitely resembles the original's vibe. This is a great blind buy if you are familiar with and a fan of Amouage Interlude. If you are not familiar with the scent profile, be warned that it can be very polarizing—you'll either love or hate it. This scent is more suited to those who wear it for themselves to enjoy, not if you're simply chasing compliments, as it's not exactly mass appealing. Potentially, it's too strong for the office but could be good for date nights, dressed up, as long as your partner enjoys very strong masculine perfumes. Longevity, projection, sillage, and overall performance are strong, definitely above average. I got this on sale for less than half price at $35 AUD, and I'm extremely happy with this blind buy purchase. If you're chasing an Amouage Interlude clone, give this one a go. Overall 6/10

this thing is SHARP, SPICY, MYSTERIOUS incense and spices on this thing is strong, it's kinda remind me of those prayer place for chinese people. its masculine but in a beast way. definitely not ur typical fragarance. edit : i just cannot wear this, the incense and spice notes are just too pungent for me. almost threw up everytime i sniff it.

It's an inchoate medley of notes strongly reminiscent of the dusty shelves in the spice aisle of a Pakistani grocery store, where a feral cat peed and no one cleaned it up. I know that olfactory perception is subjective, but I have never had such a reaction to any other fragrance in over thirty years of collecting. Try before you buy this one.

Greetings from Japan! Please tell me who has any information regarding the below. Purchased this perfume in Japan at a place something like a Japanese E-bay. I did my research on YouTube and found out that there are some differences in bottle design for older and newer releases. E.g. for older bottles it seems to be an Eifel Tower logo engraved on the spray, and for newer - just PARIS CORNER inscription. However, I wasn't able to find any visual proof on YouTube if there should be a batch code on the bottle or not. Cannot find a batch code on my bottle, it is indicated only on the box. Please help me out to clarify this issue. Does anyone have a batch code on the bottom of bottle or not? Any information is highly appreciated! Thanks!

Love this one as i love me some spiciness and some incense. Just checks the box, but for colder weather only. Not too cloying or offensive as the original. Performance is great and the quality is very nice.

This is a beast mode fragrance. It smells like Amuage Interlude man. For me ,it's about 95% accurate to Amuage and it last an upwards of 8hrs on my clothes
