Fleur Fatale

How can rose be a smell associated with old people? Come on, the reviews that call this an old woman’s scent are ridiculous . Roses are timeless and appeal to people of multiple generations and cultures . Calling a rose scent an old lady perfume reflects directly on the person who is foolish enough to make such a statement . ( Perhaps they lack a broader frame of reference beyond caramel and pralines. ) I am surprisingly impressed with this perfume. Not just because it is a cheapie, but also because it is truly floral and not the typical fruit bomb with a hidden floral note that is barely detectable. THis does smell like Chloe Rose , and maybe even better. It seems to have a bit more presence and longevity than Chloe Rose, to my nose anyway . The rose really smells like a fresh rose, not “jammy “ or “spicy “ which is code for not really a rose scent . In my experience this perfume has a gentle amount of sillage ,and good longevity - better than average anyway with the bottle I bought . I like everything about this genuine rose smelling perfume. It is pretty in a classic sense, feminine and has a good presence. I like it so much that I am buying a few extra backup bottles . I find Fleur Fatale to be an underrated gem that is quite pretty. I am sometimes amazed how good perfumes that perform well can be found in unexpected places. In my opinion , the days that the BIG HOUSES dominated perfumery and made the best scents have seemed to pass . Some of the most disappointing perfumes ( I used to love ) are expensive and reformulated very cheaply though the retail price is still high . There are some lovely perfumes that have longevity and presence and can be bought for a bargain price . This is one example and I am glad to have found Fleur Fatale, and I will forget the association with the Kardashians .

Who chooses these names anyway!? "Fleur" yes, but there is nothing "Fatale" here. I've had this for a long time. So long in fact, that a 100ml. tester set me back all of $12 bucks on Fragnet years ago. While I've only worn it a few times over the years, every time I do, it still surprises me. Surprised, because it's not only very pretty, but also because it's SOOO not Kim Kardashian. There is nothing flashy or extroverted here. I could never imagine her wearing such a soft perfume of baby pink tea roses surrounded by violets and iris. I would have thought sultry deep red roses on an animalic musky base would be more her speed. Instead, this is a soft and youthful, (though not immature), perfume. It's simple and understated and certainly not something I'd expect from someone who likes to expose her, ahem, surgically enhanced attributes at every opportunity. 😂 Which makes me suspect that she had nothing to do with this and simply licensed her name. She probably never even smelled it. Who knows? But even if she didn't, I don't care because I love it. I am curious to know that if she had to choose a rose perfume, would it be this. If so, then maybe there is a soft little girl beneath all that bling, after all. I also agree with @Skylakagetis, as this reminds me of Paul Smith's Rose too but even more so, a better version of Rose Blanche by Precious Liquid, which charges niche prices for something I don't even think is as nice as this.

Holy Moly! This lady is amazing! I am sooo surprised (and surprisingly IN LOVE!) I have been eyeing this forever and finally pulled the trigger on my first KK scent. The name alone could have hooked me...Fatal Flower?!? Yes, please. Sign this girl up, with a quickness! *wink wink* I have been hesitant because something about this money making juggernaut the Kardashian's have built kinda gives me an icky feeling. But I found a big bottle for a steal online and I took the plunge. Everyone seems to hate the bottle, but it could definitely be worse. It's not very elegant looking but it is interesting and a bit different. I kinda like it. On to the perfume...the first sniff was harsh bitter rose and at first I was turned off. For a moment I though my gut had been right. But almost immediately it mellows out and becomes a fresh and beautiful rose. A little spicy and earthy but still crisp and bubbly! So, so pretty! And someone stop me here if I am way off base, but I could swear this smells like my beloved L'Eau D'Issey blended with a touch of a new favorite...Roses de Chloe. I'm almost assuredly wrong, or my nose is scent drunk...who knows (hahahah). But this is a love at second sniff and definitely my new favorite for spring! Fatally Gorgeous is my opinion.

I am addicted to rose perfumes. I admit I own more than a few. I like all of them, and love noticing the other notes that have been blended with the rose note in the differing rose perfumes. I am not exaggerating when I say not only is this one of the most beautiful rose perfumes I own, but it is also one of the most beautiful perfumes in my entire (very large) collection. Immediately upon spraying, I become enveloped in rich, heady, fresh, dewy roses. In my experience, some rose frags have some sort of synthetic quality to them which cheapens the scent, and sometimes ruins the frag altogether. However, with this gem there is not any synthetic type of scent at all. On my skin, none of the notes other than the rose make much of a presentation. Perhaps that is just because I am hard-wired to fully enjoy the rose. I'm sure the other notes are there supporting the rose in this gorgeous concoction, but I just can't pick them out. Out of all of my rose perfumes, this is easily in my top 5 favorites. I intend to buy another bottle or two in case this gets discontinued. I can't picture my life without this incredible perfume!

I think the success of this perfume goes more to the designer, the nose behind the fragrance than the fact that it bears Kim Kardashian's name on the bottle. I often wonder if Kim's conversation about the creation of this perfume went along the line of..."Create something that is the complete opposite of me". If so they did a good job. This perfume is Virgin White Lace, Silk, Pearls and Pure Woman. I get Tea Roses on a powdery White Musk base. In fact this is something I would wear to a wedding. The bottle even looks like a designer Wedding Cake. I wonder if that gi-normous wall of white flowers KK had at her wedding smelt similar to this fragrance? I have been looking for a replacement Rose perfume since they changed the formulation to Stella and I think I have found it with Fleur Fatale. I never thought I would have loved a Kim Kardashian perfume, in fact, I love two of her fragrances. Honey was also a pleasant surprise and I adore wearing it.. So a big round of applause to the designer and to Kim, well done, you sure know how to pick people to help your career along.

Fleur is a beautiful rich rose and peony fragrance. It's classy, refined and extremely feminine. With no patchouli, no candy floss, no over powering fruits, Fleur is a grown up modern ladylike boudoir scent. The iris and violet blend to suggest a powdery feel, but don't steer into true dusty powder territory. Instead, the overall feel of Fleur is silky sweet flowers, with sandalwood adding a grounding soft woody touch. A small amount of sweet amber gives Fleur lasting power. The musk here is airy white musk, NOT the ugly strong and bitter dark dirty mustee musk they used in Kim's Pure Honey that overpowers and chokes the honey note. Instead, the different musk used in Fleur is all feminine, comforting and smooth as satin. Fleur lasts easily 10 hours on my skin, with consistently moderate projection. This scent lasts on fabrics until you launder them. If Fleur works well with your chemistry as it does on my skin, you may find it addicting as well as incredibly , beautifully feminine.

I’m currently loving this more than my other roses (and I do have plenty). Have to admit I started using this more and also to bed because it didn’t cost as much as the others, but I truly got hooked! It is so refreshing in heat and so calming night time. Very very nice and delicate rose that smells plenty and stays on. Reminds of the double distilled Persian rose waters of Kasshaan. Surprised how Kim has been able to capture that essence of near east so well. Happy that it is not oudy or musky, just clean cut and a bit cushiony sweet but green rose 🌹 I, who used to love Chloé by Chloé now think that that one smells to musky and heavy in comparison. Not to speak of Stella, which I never owned because of its muskiness. Maybe comparable to Paul Smith’s Rose, but airier, slightly more powdery an not as harsh and in your face as Paul Smith. No, this one is the real deal, almost edible and gourmand rose petals 😍💃

This is my very first KK perfume and I fell inlove with the bottle/Packaging just looking at the pictures. I watched perfume reviews and most people say it is pretty and fresh with delicate roses, I love roses and fresh, clean scents and just from the look of the white bottle it does actually describes the scent...clean, pure like roses. Upon initial spray I immediately get that fresh, soft and delicate roses and maybe a hint of Peony but more roses and I think from beginning to end the rose still is dominating like the real roses in the garden. I love it so much I think Kim did a great job with this and now I cannot wait to get some of her other perfumes like the very first one and also glam, I also wanna try true reflections. I hope she comes with with a flanker of fleur fatale or make another perfume with roses. I love it so much! 😍

This is a beautiful musky Rose/Violet perfume. From first spray I get Rose , Violet and Sandalwood, followed 1 hour later by the most wonderful Musk. I get a little Peony, its there and it's mild. Perfumes never last very long on me as I have dry skin, but this is an exception, I can enjoy the wonderful rosy musk drydown for at least 9+ hours, and for such an affordable perfume, this is a winner for me. It smells very elegant and glamourous, and expensive. I love rose fragrances, and I have have a few of them, this is nothing like Paul Smith Rose which is a beautiful fresh Rose, and its not as sickly sweet as Tea Rose. This has a similar vibe to Bvlgari Rose Essential and M & S Rosie for Autograph, but I think this has a much prettier musk drydown. I will re-purchase this as a backup. And I don't do that with many of my perfumes.

I didn't love this at first, but after a few wears suddenly it occurred to me that this is a really nice fragrance. I kept smelling tea and had no idea that tea roses actually have a tea aroma (duh) but there is also something kind of smoldering & smoky in the scent as well, but it's only a very light touch of whatever that might be. I don't really pick up the sandalwood in this and the amber is very muted too. It dries down to a clean and slightly (very faint) soapiness. At times Fleur Fatale vaguely reminds me of "Still" by J-lo but with a predominant rose and no peppery notes. I like them both, but find I reach for this one the most. Sillage is moderate and the longevity for me is 4 hours, longer if I apply a lotion. If you like tea rose that is very gentle to the senses you may like this fragrance.

Normally, I am not a fan of rose scent, because I find it is irritaing to my nose whenever someone wears too much rose scent perfume in the office. I will feel like I am gonna suffocate haha. However, based on the positive reviews in fragrantica about Fleur Fatale, I decided to buy this from strawberrynet.com. After I got it, I love it immediately since I open the box! The bottle is very cute and gorgeous. Seems like the luxurious white rose bottle. And the scent also attracts me with a beautiful and classy rose. The sillage is moderate, and this is an advantage because I don't want to irritate other people with a strong scent. I don't care if it's a celebrity or designer perfume, if it can satisfy me, I will always buy it and will recommend to other people too.

As of now in 80 degree Fahrenheit weather, fleur fatale is indentical to oscar de la renta rose perfume... Well the rose is identical and in this warm weather the rose is the dominating note throughout in fleur fatale. Theu both have a musky back note in the dry down only fleur fatale is warmer while de la renta is lighter and cooler. I have yet to try this in other weather, so im not sure what season or weather this scent is at its best in. It is now 65 degrees Fahrenheit and this is intoxicating! I am in L O V E with this! Gorgeous! Just clean gorgeous rich cloud of slightly powdery clean rose and geranium... Mmmm the musk is just right creating a pillow for the florals to float on... This pure and demure, but innocently feminine and naturally sexy.

I just wanted to update, 2 years after my initial review. This is the most beautiful rose fragrance, and while the bottle gets a lot of hate.....its the contents that please me the most. I am getting ready for a back up of this beauty. People who cannot stand KK will probably write this off as a cheap celeb fragrance without even trying it, because they don't like HER, more fool you then, because it is a beautiful musky-amber-ey rose, and you don't know what you're missing. Forget the name, forget the bottle, concentrate on the contents.

I got this at chemist warehouse today and I find this to be very pretty indeed,it's a very soft,sweet and delicate floral which is great as a girly light spring/summer fragrance but as all perfumes you can wear it anytime you want but this makes me think of springtime so I would wear this when I want something delicate and floral that day,it has a slight sweet powdery feel to it but I like it,as for the bottle design it suits the perfume very well,this is worth buying if you don't like loud perfume and prefer softer scents.

This perfume is sooooo nice. From the opening right through to the die down, it's so lovely. I absolutely love it. On me it's got pretty good lasting power 4-6 hours I'd say, before it turns into a nice "close to the skin" scent. I can't say anything bad about it, it's a lovely green rose scent, that is fresh and feminine, with a very addictive quality to it. I don't mind the bottle, it did remind me of a wedding cake when I first saw it. Anyway, it's what's inside the bottle that counts - a big thumbs up from me.

I must say how much I love this and what a pleasant surprise it was. I really don't know what is the fatal thing about this fragrance but I just adore how delicate, demure, fresh and feminine it is. I wish it lasted longer and projected better, it really becomes a skin scent very quickly yet it's so comforting that I am willing to use a few (or a lot) more spritzes than usual. Anyway, to me, this is what I expected Chloe to be. Although I think they are quite similar, I like Fleur better.

I love this. It is amazing how a powerful scent can invoke lucid memories, and create beautiful lasting elements to new ones. For me this smells like an actual rose, not too sweet, but just perfect! I feel like this one really went back to basics, the original beauty and mystique of nature. When I wear this I feel like I am holding a bouquet of roses, the way the scent envelops. All day I truly feel like I am in a beautiful garden terrace, with roses everywhere. God Bless! Viva la rose!

I blind bought a 30ml bottle for £2.99. I'm glad I did as this is actually lovely. A very bright and light spring rose It reminds me of Yardley English Rose. Yet Yardley English Rose is harsher and more singular, while Fleur Fatale is better blended and has no harshness. But both are very fresh rose scents. Penhaligon Elisabethan Rose also comes to mind. But Elisabethan Rose is lighter and airier. I love Fleur Fatale. A very cute, harmless, office friendly, fresh rose scent.

After using up my sample of L'Anima della Rosa by Auphorie, I was in search of an affordable rose perfume to satisfy my new craving! I blind bought a bottle of Fleur Fatale based on the reviews here and I am really happy with my purchase! A lovely sweet, light rose. The bottle starts to look beautiful after you try the jus inside. :) Edit: the longevity of this is sadly very poor. So I spritz often to get that smell of burying my face in a bouquet!

Rose scents offend some people, but I dare say this is one almost anyone could like. My only gripe is that it turns into a skin scent much too quickly, maybe a couple of hours? - a perfume’s biggest crime imo, but I don’t mind it here. The scent is lovely enough that I forgive. Edit: the more I wear this, the more I love it. I feel I’m neglecting my other fragrances but right now I am enraptured by this beauty. This is a must-have for rose lovers.
