Sillage

Fruity leather with a sweet touch versatile and easy to wear and above all very very nice! The output is powdery with a very pleasant violet mixed with a slightly medicinal oud but not dirty at all. The fruity heart of raspberry gives it an exquisite and sexy touch that makes it ideal for nights out, parties and intimate moments. Drying with a light chamois gives a touch similar to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather or Memo Paris' Irish Leather but with a less rugged leather. During drying I also notice a touch like Coca Cola that reminds me a bit of Enigma from Roja Dove. It performs very well and has become one of my favorites from the Discovery set. This fragrance has massive similarities to Widian London. Very smooth Leather with fruity raspberry, floral and oudy touches and a sweet vanilla-rishy drydown. Nothing harsh in here, everything is perfectly blended together. If you find the TL DNA interesting but you want something more wearable and generally likeable, you should look into this. It‘s 90% like Widian London though. Performance is excellent.

A fragrance that I really liked. Sillage, as its name suggests, is a creation that wants to leave its trace. With a very light, delicate opening Oud, it opens up to a warm saffron and a very creamy violet, making it comfortable, as if embracing, enveloping. I really liked it, I find it reassuring and a source of well-being.

There's a sweaty underarm note in the opening (literally the first time I've ever experienced this after trying +350 fragrances), but after a few minutes this smells nice and unique. Very round, rubbery, warm, a tiny bit fruity, and nicely contrasted by a touch of mineralic sharpness. I'm also slighlty reminded of Ganymede, possibly from the suede note. It seems like everything Chris Maurice does, no matter the scent type, is based around an overdose of Norlimbanol and other dry-woody superamber molecules. Performance is off the charts as expected, but the downside is that those synthetic superamber molecules are all I smell after the mid-notes start fading. I like them, it's just that everything seems like a re-hash of everything else he makes!

This is a fragrance thats sweet and smooth, if oud is there it's hardly noticable.None of the notes are standing out too much but Raspberry and vanilla are definitely noticable.
