Does open ambroxan forward with a faint geranium facet, but quickly transitions to a rubber more similar to a rubber eraser, maybe more a more vulgar accentuation of a rubber residue on streets, but not quite full speed on this aspect. It’s supported by a spicy accord, followed by the whimsical concrete, smoky accents that aren’t screechy but marry with the wannabe tire rubber here. These seemingly pseudo-rough aspects are brought back down to earth with the more intimately familiar cypriol, patchouli, and faint musk aspects, and so it seems more of a photorealistic interpretation of some area in NYC rather than some weird idiosyncratic aspect of it. I will say that this is extremely similar to School by Rook Perfumes, but the woods are traded off for spiciness here. Though the rubber interpretation is a bit of a letdown here, the presentation of the perfume is of quality and is a must try for nostalgia seekers or the satisfy the curiosities of this genre of frags.

I've come full circle with this one. On paper, it seemed potentially aggressive but also potentially amazing. I kept returning to it enthusiastically. On skin, it began as an absolute stunner. I couldn't get enough of it! But it dried down to something more nondescript. I recommend giving it a try before buying.
