Tuberose Tantra

Opens with a the sharp bite of spice which quickly mellows into a clean, sexy floral making me lean into equal parts comfort and confidence. The clove really lifts the tuberose to new heights and the tuberose only projects a narcotic allure, not giving that bubblegum note that some tuberose fragrances do. For just a moment, like the first 10 minutes, I get a soapy impression which quickly blends into clean, silky-soft spicy floral. The sillage is quite intimate on me but I think that's the charm with this fragrance, it subtly beckons for attention, like "come hither". Absolutely love the cashmeran patchouli drydown which I take every moment to enjoy, as the only con with this fragrance is that it doesn't last very long on me, max 5 hours. But that's perfectly fine with me - it makes Tuberose Tantra worth every moment it gives. I always end up coming back for more.

Amazing!!! I just came back from shopping in a small upstate NY town called Hudson, I walked into this wonderful boutique and stumbled into this olfactory perfection! I love this This is different than anything I have smelled in a long time, It’s a warm spicy tuberose fragrance not that generic plastic bubblefgum tuberose that is so popular in main stream brands this is definitely a niche house and I was told the perfumer gets her ingridents from Istanbul and the Middle East. Unisex floral for sure. I will always have this and I want some of the others from this house. Highly, Highly recommended 11/10 That’s how good it is! Longevity is pretty good but you need to spray again after 5 hours Sillage is great!!!

FINALLY got my hands on a full bottle of this. This is so beautifully blended. I get that some people get a much stronger "cleaning product" smell - but I do not, and how lucky am I! I have been absolutely falling in love with Tuberose lately, and this is the first one I've found that in my opinion leans truly unisex, which is usually my preference. It is true that this perfume is far from "beast mode," but I do not care. I'll take the journey again and again. I cannot wait to get my hands on more from Kismet Olfactive - next on my list is Nostalgia or The Poet.

I love this perfume! This is everything that I wish Carnal Flower was. I am not a gourmand-lover (rather a woody, white floral/citrus lover! so my attraction makes sense) and I have been on the search for a good perfume to wear on dates. This perfectly fits the bill. It is seductive, woody, floral and spicy but NOT heavy (which is one of my biggest complaints about perfumes!). Sometimes it hits my nose as a bit cardboard-esque but honestly I like that smell so I'm not complaining. Lc from Nearly Noseblind was not lying, this perfume is that good.

Love this scent! It's feminine without being too sweet. I tend to gravitate towards masculine or gender neutral scents and avoid most florals, but this is one of the few floral scents I just love. It's certainly floral, but it has a spice and musk that keeps it from being too powdery and sweet. It stays close to the body, but I notice myself smelling it all day long on myself, which is really nice.

Truly one of the most beautiful florals I have ever smelled. Not cloying, soapy, heavy or overpowering. Perfectly balanced. I normally avoid florals almost entirely, but this is quickly becoming my go-to for spring/summer over my usual green/grass/fig scents. Absolutely recommend!

As a previous reviewer has stated... this is perfectly balanced! Floral, but spicy. Soft but interesting. A great all rounder. The clove brings a slight shaving cream element, that makes it smell clean but not soapy clean, more of a well manicured kind of clean. Love it!

Tuberose Tantra is effervescent. It’s a drink of ice cold water— club soda with a dash of pine needle extract and ice cubes that encapsulate tuberose petals and clink against a frosted glass. This is marketed as a spicy tuberose, but to me what are supposed to be spicy notes feel incredibly cooling, not warming. When I inhale right up against my skin I actually get the shivers, which is the same effect that Serge Lutens’ Iris Silver Mist has on me. I’m curious if anyone else experiences this perfume that way given that the listed notes of ginger and clove are obviously the opposite of cooling. Coniferous or camphorous notes, which are what I smell, are not listed at all. I guess it must be the ginger note that comes off as camphor or pine needles or juniper or eucalyptus to my nose, because the cloves do come to play eventually...but they’re a gentle background player and they don’t ever warm things up. For me, the composition remains cool from beginning to end. This is such a unique take on tuberose. Tuberose Tantra was inspired by the perfumer Shabnam Tavakol falling asleep while at perfumery school in Grasse with a huge pile of tuberose flowers in her bed— and the intoxicating scent that she woke up to the morning after.

Opening is soft and powdery with white florals underneath. The tops notes fade pretty quickly thankfully since I’m not a huge fan of the opening. The middle is very pleasant, white florals with a side of candied ginger, but not stanky/animalistic like they can tend to lean (I do like a bit of stank though so kinda wish it was darker). I do entirely understand the shaving cream comments, it kinda has the essence of whipped shaving cream fresh from a can but *expensive*. I get a bit more spiced sweetness and wood on the dry down, but again it’s very gentle. I think it’s a nice perfume that’s a modern rendition of a vintage I’ve smelled before (don’t remember the name) so it’s lighter. It doesn’t come across as ‘sex’ to me as it’s not dark or stanky enough for that. But I do think it would make a lovely sophisticated evening fragrance that would be crowd pleasing. I don’t think I like it enough for a full bottle buy, nor do I think it would be a good every day + daytime wear.

208 I thought this was an interesting version of a tuberose scent. It reminds me of a gentle sweet lightly bubblegum tuberose(Mona Orio), but not dewy green. This tuberose is seeped in chai (tea for two, without the ashtray smell). That’s it-very pleasant. It’s expensive for the gentle performance, so close to the skin. 8/10-enjoyed it, but expensive for such a delicate scent. Would not repurchase.

I get a very realistic tuberose. Like, not love. My man said it smells like an old lady, but what does he know.....

The opening feels very lemony. As in VERY. Ginger? OK, that's probably what it is. Very clean, as in VERY clean as in laundry products. The heart is more about abstract bleached white florals than tuberose per se. It lacks the sensuous aspect of the flower the name might suggest. This is an asexual flower. The dry down offers MORE cleanness. As in too much cleanness—for me. But if you want to smell clean as fabric softener, be my guest and try this. But aphrodisiac, as the label claims? Not one bit.

my experience with this fragrance was the most romanticized buying experience i’ve had, i felt like the perfume itself was trying to make a move on me. discovered this gem in a quaint antique furniture store that did not seem like the place to hold the elusive tuberose tantra, or any fragrances at all. I had heard of kismet many seasons prior but this was the first in person location I’ve found in the dmv. It was the happiest surprise to be able to experience the whole line. This fragrance is the first time I’ve sprayed something and immediately thought, oh...I want to smell like this all the time. I’ve never purchased a fragrance so quickly, and usually spend months waiting for a deal on mercari. Maybe it was the mood lighting of the antique store or the fact that it felt so organic, but I took it home that day. This is best tuberose I’ve smelled, bubbly and ginger ale like against the backdrop of woods and spices. Perfectly unisex, as a man I feel so sexy wearing this. Favorite favorite favorite
