Amber

Classic rose and sandalwood scent, a la Elizabeth Arden's Red Door although it isn't a dupe for that. Doesn't necessarily smell like Chanel No. 5 to me but has an aldehydic soapiness that alludes to that without overwhelming me the way that does. The powder is pretty tame in this for what the notes are, which I appreciate, I mean it is there but doesn't beat me in the face like I worried it might, it's balanced by sweetness and warmth so this doesn't feel heavy or dated to me like most powdery fragrances do. This is pretty and clean, perhaps a bit overly polite but there are occasions where that's exactly what's called for and this is what I'll reach for then.

A beautiful simplistic bottle and fragrance.Smells quite similar to Chanel no5 & Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato perfume, both which i adore immensely 😍can be combined with either one and blends nicely. Longevity and sillage both moderate, lingers well. Lovely fragrance 👌❤

Based on the reviews, I didn't expect much going into this fragrance. Last time I checked, I didn't like Chanel no.5 and the smell of baby wipes isn't my vibe. I'm pleasantly surprised I really enjoy this. It's not a must have by any means, but I'm glad to have it in my collection. It smells like gold dial soap and I love that. It does have some powdery element to it which is why many people are getting a baby wipe scent. I don't feel outdated when I wear this, but clean and fresh. Relaxed even. I can understand this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm into it. Maybe I should revisit Chanel now 🤔

rose, ylang, little jasmine, hint of tonka, pink pepper, sandalwood, very vintage with the rose and sandalwood as the stars and a little sour note then dries down powdery; a nice spring fragrance

Definitely is in the same vein as Chanel no. 5 - I’m surprised aldehyde isn’t listed as a note in this! The bottle is stunning as well.

bold, mature, floral, woody. i feel like if you like chanel no. 5, you'd enjoy this. i noticed the sandalwood and the rose first. bergamot is noticeable in the dry down and there's also a light sweetness (tonkabean). smelling the dry down, i understand how it's compared to "guess" by guess marciano.

This is exactly what I think of when I think "old lady perfume." There is nothing fresh about this. It starts off super powdery- so much so that I am reminded of diapers and the synthetic baby powder scent they often have. Then the rose kicks in and it reminds me of potpourri. This is the first one of her scents that I don't think I'll be able to wear. But I give her props for doing something different. It could work better on others.

This smells like straight up gold dial handsoap. Third KKW flop I've wasted money on this year. Grumpy.

There’is an old fashioned vibe to this scent, like not quite animalistic, but heady, and classy...I like amber but this one might be too old fashioned for me,,i don’t get baby wipes, but yes maybe a bit of a dial hand soap..even the bottle is old style...it was a gift, but definitely not my cup of tea..I like my amber smoother and softer...this one is more a cold weather scent...overall, I am not I impressed with this fragrance.,,it doesn’t smell pretty to my nose.

Baby wipes for sure as all the comments have been saying. Then dries down super powdery on my skin. Baby's first chanel no.5 sort of thing. Not bad but I'm not sure I want to keep it. Of the 3 perfumes in this collection I think Olive is best.

As plenty have mentioned this is similar to Chanel No. 5 however, KKW Amber is more agreeable. It’s a lighter version of CN5 with added powder (baby wipes scent). With that being said this does make me want to revisit CN5.

This smells like straight up baby powder on me... I don’t hate it. It lasts about 4/5 hours so it’s not that bad for the price. Won’t repurchase. Not what I was expecting after reading the notes...

Ok this smells EXACTLY , 100% like baby wipes!!!! As soon as me and my husband smelled it - BABY WIPES! Also like johnson&johnson original gold baby shampoo!!!!!! I mean, I guess it smells nice ?

Smells like Chanel no 5. I was scared off by the baby wipes comments. But it smells no more like baby wipes than the origonal chanel no 5 smells like them, to me. A cheaper alternative.

I get an Ambery powder scent. Kind of unisex but i get where the baby wipe smell comes from. Olive is my favorite.

Honestly, yeah, it smells like baby wipes. Not unpleasant but not for everyone either.
