Crystal Gardenia Oud

I finally put my hands on two KKW fragrances! I got Crystal Gardenia Oud 75 ml and Crystal Gardenia 30 ml from a lady on Facebook for 50 cad. A win, since both are full and perfect. I’ve been wanting to try a few of KKW fragrances but the prices plus shipping to Canada threw me off since it was gonna be a blind buy. Now, the juice! Funny how now that it’s cold here in Toronto I’ve been wanting to buy a rich, dense, sexy scent for winter. I’ve been waiting on my Armaf Club de Nuit Intense to arrive, after I saw that it’s identical to Noir de Noir by Tom Ford. Armaf is coming in the mail in about 2 months since I bought on Evay from India. Surprise surprise today when I picked this up... this is so similar to Noir de Noir! I’m so surprised no one said this before me. Even most of the dominant notes are the same! Oud, patchouli, rose, geranium... It smells of dark roses, chocolate, wine, oud... it’s just divine. Balmy, smoky, rich, sexy, dense, and oh, so longlasting. I hope you like this, cause scrubbing it off it almost impossible. This is a fantastic creation. So beautiful. I’m excited to have a full bottle for the winter. This will last me several winters actually, since 3 sprays are more than enough to last the whole day. Such a wonderful scent. Love love love Crystal Gardenia Oud.

Oh. My. God. Yet another great fragrance from KKW! Crystal Oud is a very spicy scent, and not in a hot sauce kind of way. It's bold, it's dark and it's SEXY. To make a long story short, it smells like a $200+ perfume with only a $35 price tag. It is 1000% worth your money! Crystal Oud is very strong with the rose, but not in an old lady kind of way. It isn't headache inducing at all. In fact, I quite enjoy the rose note here. You might not expect this to be a floral fragrance based on the title alone, but it does not disappoint. Nor does it take away the spotlight from the star of the show. The spicy and floral notes compliment the Oud very well in my opinion, and creates a very beautiful scent. It seems like every note in the perfume magically works with the Oud, and never goes against it. The patchouli in this perfume is also very nice. It is not as detectable as the spices, the rose and obviously the Oud, but it adds to the overall sexiness of the scent if that makes any sense. I absolutely LOVE Crystal Oud, and would definitely recommend if you are a fan of Oud fragrances. Honestly, Kim Kardashian nailed it with this one! It is such a STUNNING scent. I will be purchasing again!!! ♡♡♡♡

Alright, first things first - it's baffling that "crystal gardenia" is in the name of the fragrance because there isn't a gardenia in sight. To call it that for the sake of continuity with the other fragrances is silly. Beyond that, I have to admit I really enjoy this fragrance. The dirty patchouli and oud is balanced out with some fresh citrus and herbal vibes, while everything is tied together with an overall powderiness. I think to some this may smell a bit dated, because the powdery notes give it that "musty cosmetics bag" feeling. It really does smell, to my nose, a bit reminiscent of old fragranced makeup, which is right up my alley. Feminine but not overtly girly. The first thought I had when I sprayed it was "elegant". On me, the performance is not spectacular but it definitely isn't disappointing. It lasts moderately and the sillage is somewhere between being heavy and skin scent, which for this type of fragrance is perfect.

The one I have from the Crystal Gardenia collection is ‘Crystal Gardenia Oud’! A fusion of Western & Middle Eastern notes. The fragrance community feels this is Unisex (for men and women to rock this!). It’s being compared to Rose Oud by Killian, which makes sense since in the Middle East they blend florals to make oud less potent and pungent; thereby making it a pleasant, therapeutic and woody smell. Yet; go light on the spray because it’s still strong with very good sillage and longevity. Kim Kardashian goes above and beyond within the celebrity scents genre! This is niche like and I wear it as a confident man. Love this relaxing fragrance with the tamed “oud” note!

I simply love this. It’s a gorgeous, rich, warm scent...especially after the symphony finishes unveiling itself when the base notes unfold. I asked their customer support if it was synthetic or natural oud essential oil, and they said it was not synthetic. That considered, it’s a good price considering Oud oil is one of the most expensive perfume ingredients (dubbed as liquid good for that reason). I mainly detect the velvety warm oud, soft musk, and rose.

i tried this for the first time and i LOVE it. this is my opinion but it's like incense in a bottle. i'm very big on incense but i never thought i'd enjoy it as a fragrance! i usually lean towards more fruity and floral scents. this and yellow diamond (kourtney) are my two favorites from this brand. i think now i'm more open to trying oud-woodsy type perfumes!!

wow. amazing. being somewhat ignorant to what 'oud' normally smells like, i will try to translate it into simple language: to me, this smells of very expensive gourmand hot chocolate, spices, and patchouli. creamy, warm, nostalgic. the perfect fall fragrance. I'm actually nervous that I may finish the bottle and be left searching for a dupe.

Musky yet soft oud perfume! TOP note reminds me of Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud but this one is a softer and less darker version. A great as a unisex perfume. Would also work for layering with something sweet. Such a unique and classy scent unlike most celebrity perfumes. LOVE LOVE LOVE

A wonderfully soft floral yet slightly musky scent.Bottle design and packaging are fab.The scent smells similar to Miller Harris Rose Silence perfume,both smell beautiful, love ittt♡

This literally is an exact dupe for Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose & Oud.

I didn't know what the expect from KKW crystal fragrances as I tried a few of the candy hearts and from they packaging to the scents they were ok - cute, juvenile and very standard 'celebrity perfumes' (I actually finished the bottles up as room sprays). I still wanted to try the crystal line and ended up getting all three of the inital Gardenia scents when there was a big sale. Of the three, Gardenia Oud is my favorite. The longevity and sillage is strong which tends to be the case with oud fragrances but it was surprisingly strong in all 3. You get oud standing out from beginning to end with mostly rose and patchouli rounding out the scent. I am not always in the mood for oud but when I am this is what I reach for. Overall, I really do enjoy this perfume and give props to the unique bottle and strong sillage/longevity.

First spray I get strong rose, oud and patchouli. After 20 mins blends a bit more and amber comes out with a bit of musk. The dry down is my best part where I mostly get bergamot and lavender (reminds me a lot of Gentlemen Only Intense Givenchy for men) -which is weird as in most fragrances you'd get that at the top. Overall very churchy/ middle eastern. Borderline ''old lady purse'' if oversprayed. Longevity is not that good, but didn't expect much from a celeb fragrance. Turns into a skin scent quite quickly. Good thing it's not the traditionally feminine scent so yeah i'd say it can pass as more unisex. I don't regret buying it as I'm a fan but I doubt I'll purchase again. It is amazing how her fragrances sold out and they were all a blind buy!

Lovely right from the start. I said yummy out loud when I first applied but it does NOT last and that to me is a problem - i get annoyed when I’m feeling ripped off. These fragrance creators should do a better job and respect the consumer. I will not repurchase for that reason. Too bad tho

Crystal Gardenia Oud by KKW is my favourite Kim Kardashian fragrance to date. I find this fragrance extremely daring, especially from a celebrity brand. It reminds me of a less sweet and less potent version of Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Satin Mood. There isn't a lot of gardenia in this fragrance, in fact the white floral focus is not there at all. Crystal Gardenia Oud is all about sweet oud, dense patchouli, red roses and sour geranium. I think many Kim Kardashian fans may get quite a shock smelling this fragrance, especially if they haven't been exposed to an oud fragrance before. It's a risky blind buy and not a particularly safe gift. I appreciate it for being a relatively well-composed oud scent that doesn't smell synthetic or sharp on the skin. I am, however, disappointed in its lack of lasting power. I got approximately two to three hours of wear before the scent all but vanished on both skin and clothes. There are admittedly many niche fragrances that smell just like Crystal Gardenia Oud, if not better. Personally, I would never invest in a bottle of fragrance that has such poor longevity. The KKW beauty range is not the cheapest celebrity line, so I think it wiser to save your dollars, that is unless the fragrance wears better on your skin.

I am really quite enamored by this one. What a shame it can only be found for exorbitant prices on Ebay! Of course my crazy self bought it anyway but it is just so beautiful.. it smells like a typical Arabian rose/oud oil but with the added lemony zing of geranium and deep, earthy patchouli lending a Western edge.. the patchouli makes this super wearable, where sometimes I find I feel self conscious wearing some rose/oud oils out in public. The oud is present from first spritz to the drydown. It has a commanding presence but is not too barnyard-y or medicinal.. it sits pretty somewhere between the two extremes, just how I like my oud.. polite :) Classy with an exotic edge. I just adore this. I will wear my little sample of this all day and see how it fares longevity-wise. Update: well, the longevity is outstanding! I spritzed this on yesterday afternoon and can still detect it on myself this morning. Mostly patchouli with a little oud at this point but still very nice..

I love Most Rose Oud scents & this one is great! I am glad she put it out again, I wasn't paying those Ebay prices from god knows who. I got it for $45 too, during a sale. It does have a screech to it, probably a medicinal one, so it's not the smooth Oud by any means. I DO smell more Geranium than Rose, it could be b/c of the screech in the Oud. I REALLY wasn't expecting for it to be so strong coming from KKW. My only other one is her Peach, I love, but you can legit spray on the entire bottle at once if you want & it doesn't last. This one is nuclear. **UPdate for those that care about longevity. I sprayed once on my forearm this morning 4 hrs ago, it was sooo strong I was tired of it. Went to sink scrubbed it with soap and fingernails, wiped arm off, & it's STILL projecting! I put Palmer's Cocoa Butter over the area & scrubbed that with my nails trying to tone it down. It's still there..WOAH! All you need is one spray every 67 days & you're good.

just got all 3 of these today & i have to say i am pretty impressed lol..........i love the innovative bottle design & 5 stars on the nice packaging :) the perfumes come in a really nice sturdy larger size box that has the most awesome soft suede feel to it & inside u also get some crystals with a little note about their meaning :) those are also packaged very nicely :) as far as the scents i am currently wearing the gardenia oud & i love it !! it is a bit on the stronger side but beautiful creamy floral with a musky edge :) and it does last :) i cant wait to see what KK does for valentines........i read shes coming out with more limited editions i believe then too :)

This came in a trio that I bought off of FB marketplace, they came with the perfume I actually wanted so I just wanted to preempt this by saying I wasn't actually looking for this. I think this is for the rose and oud lovers (and I'm definitely not). It smells very mature and cloying to me, even my mother didn't like it. I don't know if I like oud at all, actually, not that I can pick it apart in this frag anyway. It's a no from me!

Oh, my days. This is truly beautiful. I blind purchased this because it was 70% off and I wasn't expecting much but, like Pure Honey, this isn't vile or inelegant... it's absolutely beautiful. The comparisons to Rose d'Arabie are completely apt and this makes me so happy because I've been wanting that for so long... along with a wearable, light oud that I can love. This is magnificent. Very unexpected.
