Crystal Vanilla

This smells like a sophisticated remake of BBW's Warm Vanilla Sugar, in a way that makes me love this even though I hate WVS with a fiery passion. This is cozier, smoother, and a bit less synthetic (though still plenty synthetic and even maybe plasticky, in a way I don't mind, of course I'm the type to adore the smell of new shower curtain liners so keep that in mind), and I can sense a whiff of the cacao listed in place of the whiff of white rice I get from WVS and I much prefer the cacao. I feel like even though this is one of those 'love it or hate it' scents, it's shouldn't be offensive to any bystanders if applied with reason because it's thin and stays close to the body. It is pretty resistant to being scrubbed off as I learned when I accidentally sprayed it on my hands while putting the cap on, and while it's full glory fades pretty quickly it lingers quite a while in some sugary capacity.

This is a nice, fluffy, creamy vanilla with a touch of honeysuckle and fruit notes. Very cozy for winter. I’m a sucker for Kim’s fragrances! If you’re a vanilla lover don’t pass this up! The longer it sits on my skin the more cocoa I notice. Delicious!

This is a very creamy milky vanilla (which makes sense as its called crystal vanilla) Reminds me of Shakira S Smile Probably my fave KKW fragrance, the other ones were slightly off but this is perfect

I love this. Sweet sugar vanilla with coco. This is impossible to find so I grab backup bottles whenever I spot them for cheap, which is uncommon

Gosh, I REALLY want to love this as I am a huge KKW fragrance fan. Out of the three new fragrances released from the Crystal collection, I was most excited for this. Unfortunately, I’m a little disappointed. While I don’t dislike Vanilla Crystal, it’s a mediocre like for me. There is something about this that smells SO plastic... it’s like vanilla bean meets Fisher-Price plastic. I’m almost certain it’s the cocoa note. It is reminiscent of cocoa powder, which just gives off a plastic vibe to my nose. If you’re looking for a vanilla fragrance from KKW Fragrance, I much prefer the Nude Lips from the Kylie collection. I’m continuing to wear Vanilla Crystal and hoping it grows on me... we shall see.

Crystal Vanilla is a cozy, creamy, sugary vanilla with fruits, warm cacao and benzoin. Nothing groundbreaking or unique but it’s delicious!

I purchased this with Crystal Voilet Musk last month. I love Crystal Voilet Musk, but this is a huge no for me. The Vanilla smells really good, but there is a very unpleasant synthetic note in this that dominates and ruin the entire fragrance. It smells so unnatural, like a chemical or fluid used on vehicles. It's such a shame because i thought this would be the safest blind buy just by looking at the notes, but i was obviously wrong. Kim should maybe consider putting her fragrances back in Ulta or Sephora so that people can test them before buying them. Scent: 2/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: Not sure. Washed it off after 10 minutes

Save your money and just get a basic vanilla body spray. This is a very basic, sugary sweet, synthetic fragrance. No nuance, no vanilla even, lol. Extremely one note. and the note is: SUGAR Just so it doesn't go to waste- I mix this with Carolina Hererra Good Girl to sweeten the big opening of it. I would literally neeeeever wear this on it's own. This is like the same quality of the cotton candy Mary Kate & Ashley scents I had in the 90s.

I was so glad to read knics33's review because I couldn't agree more! I love the KKW perfumes, and I wanted to love this. When I first sprayed it I thought it smelt good but, as I sniffed more it smells like plastic. Just an odd smell that I can't put my finger on. I don't hate it but, if I was searching for a vanilla fragrance I certainly wouldn't pick this one. Maybe it will grow on me. The one I like the most of the three new crystals is the Peach but, none of them are jaw-dropping in my opinion. The rose is nice but, powdery and I am not a fan of powdery scents.

I won't be buying kkw perfumes. They're over priced! Why is that family so greedy? It's ridiculous. Seriously. The name is not worth the price and the fragrances, although good, are not worth it either. Now if they lasted a week with a couple spritzes then I would consider. But paying over 200 for a bottle is just stupid. Why create so many different fragrances, discontinue them immediately, then try to resell for too high prices? Is that their business scheme? It's rude.

If I had to liken this to anything in my collection I would say Jessica Simpson Fancy - although they are not dupes for each other. I can see what everyone is talking about with the plastic note, but it isn't too jarring to me. This is a basic sweet scent with a subtle fruitiness - I actually don't detect any vanilla really. I don't mind it though, Probably the most wearable out of the three that were released at the same time (Crystal Rose and Crystal Peach).

Just got this today and I like it. It smells like a soft vanilla/cocoa butter fragrance in the dry down . You can get the slightest hint of that fruity/berry in the opening but it fades away . A little young, but something comforting. It's sweet. Projection isn't great and it lasted for about 2 hours on my skin .

Pass. This is a super generic vanilla. It does start out like a boozy vanilla, which I could enjoy a little bit, but it quickly dries down to a synthetic vanilla candle smell. Easily the worst of the 3 new ones. Update: I like this a lot more layered with the rose one. I will actually wear it now.

ugh whyyyy are all the new crystals so bad? this one smells just like a cheap vanilla candle from Bath and Body Works. Or like a sugar cookie that tastes strange and bitter, not mouthwatering at all. all three are up for grabs - let me know if anyone's looking.
