Iconic Gardenia

I normally don't gravitate towards floral perfume. It takes a special scent to make me want to smell like a flower! This is one of the few floral fragrances that I absolutely adore. It is strong, but a tad sweet from the vanilla. I love wearing this perfume especially when I'm wearing floral prints. It is great for the spring & summer, but especially spring. It is lively and bring about the birth of flowers and trees getting their leaves. It is hopeful. The things I don't like about Iconic Gardenia is that it's staying power is week. I have to reapply every few hours. Also, every now and then I get a hint of a hairspray smell.

I absolutely LOVE this! However, it smells like so many other scents out there. It smells exactly like KKW Kris & Crystal Gardenia, Tocca Florence, Michael Kors, original Kim K perfume (her first one she ever released back in the day). Literally the same scents. White fresh floral, clean, pretty. If you have any of those, you can pass on this. Trust me they’re the same but different bottles. I wish she could’ve put a twist on this instead of putting out the same perfume. Maybe add some yellow floral notes like Frangipani & Ylang-Ylang with some honey or beeswax.

I love this, but what frustrates me is how it feels like every perfume she brings out smells the same. This is just like her original in the black bottle and very similar to Crystal Gardenia. They're all great, but isn't it time to move on? The bottle is gorgeous though.

Coming from someone who thinks gardenia scents are overdone, rest assured this one is great. It’s definitely gardenia forward but I get the other notes too. Woody white floral. Layer this with caramel orchid and we have a winner

This scent is amazing. Gardenia with an edge to it, I definitely pick up the orchid and sandalwood, not sure why those aren’t ranked higher in the notes

Iconic Gardenia reminds me of Miller Harris's Tuberose perfume. A very linear mandarin orange gardenia/tuberose scent. Clean, fresh gardenia, nothing animalic. An easy buy for anyone who is looking for a fresh, clean shampoo gardenia type of perfume w/ brightness from mandarin orange. Goes on a bit loud in the beginning but softens quickly and is quite pretty. I have better gardenias in my collection, and while this is still nice, I won't repurchase. And it doubtful I will be blind buying anymore KKW fragrances. I'm happy w/ the bottles for display. Edit: this is pretty and easy to wear. It is a shame she gave up on this line the bottles are so cool. I wish I collected them all before she discontinued the line. The more I wear this the more enjoyable I find it. So sad this line is discontinued.

Glad I decided to get this, I wasn't going to originally as I figured it would smell like most white florals out there and how many white floral fragrances do I need?... And it does, it adds nothing to the genre. But it's so nice. The bottle is beautiful. Love the packaging, as I said with Rare Fig. This has a 2000s-shampoo kind of vibe which is something I personally love. As cjoudas said, it's cosmetic, I agree. Safe and soapy dry down. 7/10

A bit more woody and vanillas than other kkw gardenias. But. Nothing new. Very similar to her very first scent and very similar to every other tuberose and gardenia she’s released. You get this if you want the cool bottle. Not for the scent. A like. Not a love. Not a dislike.

It's a very nice perfume, a lot of flowers. If you didn't get the chance to buy it and still want to smell something similar I would recommend trying Tocca – Florence, they are basically identical in my opinion.

Just a very, very basic Gardenia. The best word I can think of to describe it would be is... “milky”. It’s not a horrible perfume at all. It’s just not remarkable in any fashion.

This doesn't bring anything new to the table. If you have original Kim Kardashian or Crystal Gardenia, you don't need this unless you are a collector. The difference between all 3 scents is so minor it's negligible. I will keep it and use it, but I don't think I'll be wasting any more money on this brand. Not unless she comes up with something new and extraordinary, which from the lack of creativity I'm getting here, I don't see happening anytime soon.

This smells identical (on purpose) to her very first debut fragrance. I am a bit hurt that she hastily launched this gem of a fragrance in a collab with Jeff Leatham, right before the brand shut down for good. Finally, her original fragrance got the upgraded formula and packaging that it deserved. Make no mistake, this fragrance was no collab. Kim wanted this to be a carbon copy of her very first fragrance and she nailed it. The packaging is stunning, the branding is gorgeous.. I am devastated that this is a limited edition release that will never return. The packaging and fragrance are so special to me. It feels like my signature scent. It makes me sad to think that it won’t ever be created again. Thankfully, the original will always be on Amazon- but not with this incredible packaging, and not with the upgraded formula. So about the fragrance- this is a true creamy, starchy, warm tuberose. Don’t be fooled by the name. There is gardenia in here but it isn’t the star of the show. This fragrance (like the original) starts out with a sharp, headache inducing opening that very quickly subsides to a creamy, almost vanillic tuberose. This scent gets better and better with reapplication. This scent is truly feminine and elegant without being “old lady” or “mature.” There is something really confident and attractive about this scent. This scent has a spiciness to it although not listed in the notes. It looks like Kim chose not to market the full list of notes in this fragrance- given the original lists jacaranda wood, musk and spices in addition to the notes listed above. Perhaps she removed those notes all together but when I smell the fragrances side by side, they are truly identical. This is the perfect fragrance to wear on a night out on the town or on a date, to a fancy dinner or a special occasion. Some florals are better suited for spring, summer and daytime- but this is a truly sexy, night time / winter/ going out fragrance. I love this. Bravo, Kim. I can’t wait for your new fragrance brand and pray you come out with this one again, possibly with even MORE elevated packaging and branding- if it’s even possible. I know people complain about the white floral releases but I think this one will always sell. There is something truly magical about this combination of notes.

I blind bought a bottle of desert rose last year and I'm in love with it, so I had high hopes for iconic gardenia, but I find it to be a bit... Cosmetic. It's pretty and inoffensive, but doesn't have the interesting edge it needs to keep from being hair spray or room spray or deodorant. I'm going to try layering it with some white musks. I'll be back if I discover anything life altering. ETA: a few months later and I can confirm, iconic gardenia and essential parfums The Musk are a match, and my life is now changed dramatically and irrevocably. I know Kung Fu.

Pretty gardenia that smells close to her other releases. The honeysuckle is very synthetic in the opening, but it dissipates after 30 minutes. Clean, moderate lasting perfume that could be a nice introduction to white florals for those who are weary of them. 5/10

This one is sharp but she means business. For serious Gardenia lovers. Also, this is a strong one.

This reminds me a lot of Chanel Gardenia. If you like gardenia scents you will like this too.

Not so unisex. Way more feminine. Strong gardenia. Warmer than most white florals.
