Olive

Ah, I'm so thrilled I found this one for resale new — and the woman even dropped it off at my place! So so so happy! This is the one I really wanted to try, since seeing the notes. I'd love to try the other two as well, but this is the one I truly wanted. I think it fits the marketing perfectly, it's definitely woodsy and unisex, it would smell amazing on a man! It does remind me of E&J Nirvana Bourbon, but it's not smoky. Instead, it has that vetiver tanginess that rounds it up beautifully. I can't speak to the longevity of it (E&J lasted minutes on me... I hope this will be better) but it does definitely smell amazing and it doesn't remind me of any other KKW perfumes. I only with they started making bigger bottles! P.S. sillage is good, longevity is not crazy, and I confirm, it does smell a lot like E&J Nirvana Bourbon, just a tad fresher and zestier!

Very unisex....IMHO. I am still getting to "know" this scent...but so far it is a big like !! The opening is kinda/sorta alcohol-ish....but that passes quickly...and then the notes start developing to a nice result. This is not a linear scent...IMO....it went thru subtle changes on my skin. I am still trying to pinpoint a category for this scent....woodsy/spice/green/oriental...???...Not really "sweet" at all. This one is a totally different "type" of scent from KKW...and I am impressed. Surprised,to say the least. Performance,so far, is pretty good too. Good price,simple but modern/cool packaging/bottle is minimalistic. Do I dare try the other 2.....???

KKWxKendall Olive is one of my favorite scents, but I'm having trouble describing it. Airy, middle-ground sweetness, a tad earthy. Maybe the amber-patchouli-rose? This is NOT complex nor unique. It's pretty, well formulated, and a safe blind buy. But most importantly to me... strikingly familiar. This HAS to be a dupe for something popular in the 90's or early 2000's. If this weren't a limited edition cash grab, maybe we'd figure it out.

I really like this perfume but it unfortunately gives me headaches 😭 It's such a shame because it's so beautiful. I think it may be the Aldehydes, which is unfortunate because I know that's what gives that fresh spring air smell to the perfume which is an undeniably essential aspect of this fragrance. Might sell my bottle but I won't until I find a suitable dupe.

words that come to mind when i first smell this: mysterious, abstract, woody, slightly sweet, nature, gender fluid. this is so well blended. it took me a while to figure out what i was smelling. this is just my opinion but olive's dry down reminds me of a mixture of "metallique" by tom ford and "amethyst" by elizabeth and james but wayyy lighter.

bomb. this might be a new favorite. definite dumb reach. this smells nostalgic but I can't pinpoint where I've smelled this: reminds me of upscale shopping, potentially department stores.

I absolutely love this perfume. It smells way more expensive than it is. Olive reminds me of MFK Grand Soir. It’s perfect for all seasons, while still smelling very sexy.

This is a good scent if you want something cheap but to stand out with some nice clean herbals and incense scents. It lingers not too close to the skin, but not too far away either. I'd say it's right in the middle. As for longevity, it leaves some to be desired. I prefer my scents longer lasting, and this one only seems to stay a good while if you layer it on. You're going to use it pretty quickly if you're like me, but that's not too much of an issue considering it's a pretty cheap bottle (I got it for $30) The scent itself starts off very patchouli and amber heavy, which I quite enjoy. Once it dries, the rose water comes into play and leaves you with a really lovely delicate balance between the floral and resins. I was actually pretty impressed with it because of this rather complex profile considering it's from Kim Kardashian- I expected her to follow the trend that other celebrity perfumes seem to use and either focus on extremely sweet or rather bland "clean" scents. Not sure if we're seeing a rise to more of the fougère and woody scents now, but this was a pleasant surprise. It's a pretty versatile cologne, as well. I like to wear it with an amber oil to really play up the incense aspect of it for fall. In the spring, I'd wear it with Florida water or some other kind of soft rose scent to play up the florals more. Either way, it's still pretty androgynous. I'd say this is a good cologne for someone looking to get into the more woodsy/incense scents and wasn't sure where to start. It's pretty cheap but doesn't smell cheap at all, and it's versatility is great if you're looking to experiment with layering smells as well. Overall, I'm not the biggest fan of this cologne actually. It's pretty synthetic smelling, but that's to be expected with the price. Kim isn’t busting out authentic ingredients for $30. What makes this cologne worth the wear to me is that you can dress it up with the amber oil or floral scents because of its versatility. It's a good cologne for more casual wear if you want something a little nicer for day-to-day than just a body spray without breaking the bank.

What a pleasant surprise! This line, and this fragrance in particular, is inspired by horseback riding. I spent a lot of time around horses growing up, and this scent really evokes those memories for me. This is a zest, airy scent with a slight underlying muskiness from the patchouli and woods. It reminds me of hay drying in the sun under a clear, open sky on a very hot day. Also reminds me a LOT of (an elevated version of) Irish Spring. If you hate zingy smells, this is not a safe blind buy, because even with the rose, it is extremely fresh. This is a truly unisex scent in my opinion. Would be a perfect scent for the office, since it’s clean, sharp and just interesting enough while remaining inoffensive. I own both E&J Nirvana Bourbon and Amethyst, and I agree that there’s a resemblance, but by no means is Olive redundant in my perfume wardrobe. I personally see this as a spring and summer daytime scent, but as no one else has voted for summer so far, perhaps I’m in the minority there! A great little find, especially for the price :)

Alright. Someone needs to figure out what is so nostalgic about this. Yes it smells like a cologne, but there is a note that reminds me of my childhood. Like plastic or barbie or something but it's driving me crazy!!!! I was born in the 90s btw!!! If you like dior Addict, you might like this. It's similar. It's really dry. Very very powdery. More of a winter time fragrance. Honestly the notes confuse me. I don't get one single note listed. Maybe the Bergamot and jasmine but not really.

This is a creamy, green fragrance. It smells like a country side cabin or a rock stars girlfriend. I don't know why but I feel like it's such a classic hippie, "I'm with the band" scent along with being comforting. I feel like Penny Lane from Almost Famous would wear this! I also really like the bottle, I think it's simple yet really chic.

This smells just like E&J Nirvana Bourbon to me. If you like that scent you can safely blind buy this one. It's good, but the sillage is weak and it doesn't last long.

I don't have much to say about this one, other than it smells like Thai tea and dissipates in minutes. I use this one on my sweaters and cardigans instead of my skin.

Sampled at ulta and it Smells very nice & very clean! Definitely a unisex scent :) Like the person below me said, it smells like a high end irish springs

I don’t get any earthy or amber notes at all. That said, it’s a very pretty floral. Safe blind buy if you manage to find one online.

This smells exactly how my dad use to smell when I was younger, he would wear Ralph Lauren Polo green bottle back in the 90s. He would douse himself in that anytime of the day, any occasion or errand lol. As soon as I got my first job, every Father’s Day I get him cologne, something more fresh & modern. Anyways, this smells EXACTLY like the Polo green bottle, spicy, earthy, woody, patchouli. I don’t hate it, but I don’t like it on me. Very masculine & dark. I think a confident woman could wear this during the fall or winter if it works with her chemistry.

Anyone remember Acorn and Fig from B&BW? That was the candle, this is the fragrance. It's sweeter, I do smell amber and patchouli, maybe vanilla, but it's nowhere near as complex as I expected it to be. Maybe that's my fault, I had high expectations for this collection. This was the one I was most excited for. It's beautiful on your vanity, the color of the juice is very pretty. It has good lasting power, not great. Not a unique smell in my opinion. This is just okay. Worth the original price, not the inflated price. Save your money

Idk why i was so intrigued. But i bought a bottle. First sniff i got straight amber and rose in the background. The rose was actually nice while it lasted. Then it reminds me of not a perfume by Juliet has a gun...lots of amber but with slight linger of vanilla, ..i didn’t wait very long but i did shower... after my shower it smelled almost Smokey, sweet tobacco essence ...also bourbon vanilla extract. I’m not getting any of the mentioned notes besides amber & rose (at first) ..def no other floral is popping out. It doesn’t smell earthy, it doesn’t smell powdery. It’s not fresh. I can see this layered with fireplace by replica or hwyl by Aesop. I think tacit would awaken this scent and take it somewhere green and earthy. Alone i would say Olive is a sticky sweet with amber and bourbon vanilla, that has a slightly boozy/smoking linger. The aldehyde really rounds this fragrance. I’m going to really wear this tomorrow and then again mix it with fireplace and then again but with hwyl. I’m also getting Tom Ford Vibes: black orchid and velvet orchid but way less intense and heavy on that synthetic aldehyde scent ..think blown out candle; which is probably the vetiver

I tried to love it. It smells nice with your nose up to the bottle but wearing it smells dirty. Old grandma armpits. It makes me sick.

Sampled this randomly at Ulta and was really surprised by how sophisticated this fragrance is, the longevity (for the price) and how it reminded me of something familiar that I couldn’t quite place. It’s warm and musky and comforting while still feeling citrus fresh enough to wear in the day time and in Spring (we’ll see about Summer). Now having bought it (not without my qualms of supporting the KKW empire instead of a more independent producer), I can place it. Back in the late 90’s/early aughts, Sephora used to carry a line of solid perfume sticks from Crazylibellue & the Poppies and this remind me of the Shanghaijava Blue Orchidée scent (which I also had). It lists similar notes of Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Jasmine, Tangerine, Sandalwood, Rose, Orange, Musk, Vanilla. I could also see some similarities with L’instant Guerlain....just humor me...which I also loved. Does the similarity make me a wildly sophisticated 14 year old? A nostalgic 36 year old? Just wildly on brand? I don’t know. But an unexpected surprise at a decent price point.
