Red Lips

Hard to believe that I've been a perfumista for about 8 years, collected samples and full bottles from Paris to London to Seattle, and THIS has become my current obsession. I love the dry down, so my shirts smell better at the end of the day than they when I first put them on. I don't really know who Kylie Jenner is, but I hope she continues to produce scents like this. My main fear is that this one appears to be the least sought after of the 3 versions. I hope it's not discontinued before I need a new bottle!

I bought this half off on KKW. Unfortunately, I think they are discontinuing it. I tried a sample of this last summer and loved it. It reminds me of the scent of Smarties candies. I never smelled Crystal Gardenia, so can't speak of the similarity. It dries down to a faint musk and it seems to get stronger the longer you wear it. It has nice projection and I love the bottle. This is a lovely Summer scent.

I really love Red Lips... it is very similar to Crystal Gardenia, but not identical IMO. It’s fruitier and juicier, where Crystal Gardenia is a more fresh and green gardenia. You can really smell the blood orange. I love this for summer (or if I’m craving summer). If you’re a gardenia/white floral fan, I definitely recommend.

The gardenia is strong with this one! I agree with comments below- it smells almost identical to Crystal Gardenia, plus to original Kim Kardashian fragrance (round brown bottle with pink lettering, Kim's very first fragrance). However, the main difference between the OG Kim Kardashian and KKW Red Lips/Crystal Gardenia is the longevity. Red Lips has a good longevity and moderate projection, and lasts for good 6 hours. So if you already own Crystal Gardenia, you don't really need Red Lips (unless you just want it for the bottle). Btw, the bottle is really nice. It might look a bit funky/quirky, but it has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel cheap. I like the size too, it's not bulky and it can be carried in a purse easily.

I loove this! But to me, it smells IDENTICAL to Crystal Gardenia! I can’t tell the difference between the two. Literally same perfume, different bottle. You can buy either one, no need for both unless you like the bottle though I would go for Crystal Gardenia since you get more & pay less. It doesn’t smell like MK Very Hollywood at all! I wish the bottles weren’t so tiny, 30ml for $40 is too much, for 50ml okay. This should’ve been $25 or $30.

I like the scent, it leans very white floral, gardenia & tuberose. If you already have the OG Kim K fragrance in the round dark bottle, Kim x Kris, or Crystal Gardenia, you don’t need this one. All very similar!

As others have stated, this smells similar to other scents from the KKW line. Very generic floral with a slight twang to it.

Did not like, very funky. As I learn more about scents, that wet, wilted scent must be what I don’t like too... like wet leaves. Also, the packaging was defective only on this one, it kept acting up I actually ended up dropping it a few inches, the bottle broke busted and everything spilled out. I managed to save what I could. Went back to the container to revisit and YEP, still funky. Had to throw my container out as well.

I picked this up at nordstrom rack and had heard nude lips was good so I figured I may as well try this. To me, this smells exactly like the powder of banana runtz candy. It is super strong and loud, I found it too strong. I eventually passed this on to my mom since it’s not for me.

I ultimately bought this as I wanted to display the packaging, I don't like gardenia and I kind of wish I hadn't bought it. I sprayed it on my skin once and had the worst headache of my life!!! It smells so strong of gardenia, as if there are no other notes. I even tried to tone it down with one of my vanilla fragrances and ended up having to scrub them off my skin. Thumbs down from me!! I suppose if you love that old fashioned floral fragrance, like old potpourri then this is for you:)

Lolz I HATE this so much. It’s cheap screamo tuberose. So tacky. However- I will try this again in humid, hot weather because often loud scents like this are tempered into something bearable if not interesting. To be continued...

These are now available at Ulta and since I'm in the States visiting my sister I decided to go check them out. I recently started collecting KKW fragrances and I am really impressed with the quality. I am not long-time family fan but I do love Kim's fragrances. All three Lips are very disappointing, in my opinion. They're not bad, not unpleasant, just... so generic and weak. They perform like VS and BBW mists. Red Lips is literally 1:1 Crystal Gardenia. I don't even understand why this line exists in the first place... Kylie just picked up fragrances she likes and made body mists of them basically. The price is really not worth it, and so is the packaging.

Smells identical to crystal gardenia. It’s almost baffling that nobody from their team, friends or family said “hey.. this smells like something you already put out....” Still really love this though and think it’s a very good fragrance.

Smells nearly identical to crystal gardenia. I’m almost out of Crystal gardenia and haven’t been able to find it so I’m so glad I bought this one!

I can't smell any difference between this and Crystal Gardenia. There is absolutely no reason to spend money on both.

smells just like crystal but slightly warmer with a salty caramel note (must be the vanilla)

If you have Crystal Gardenia you don't need this. It's the same.
